The guys were Super careful of the carbon ceramic brake rotors, and wheel balance ....smooth as silk all the way up to 150. Great job men !

As a single female, I have had my fair share of negative experiences with automotive shops not being honest with me. I am new to this area so my boss referred me to Berry’s. I had a flat tire that needed to be replaced and they were very accommodating and they did not try to come up with a list of other things that needed to be done, like other places. These men are men of integrity and I hope that they know how much I appreciate what they did for me because places like this are very rare and people like this are very rare .

The prices are very reasonable. Gave me a loaner car. Job was completed earlier than they estimated. Very pleased and was definitely use them in the future.

Great service. 2:15 Saturday afternoon, as my son is getting ready to head back to college, he gives me a call. Dad, a message in my car says battery not charging. We were able to get into Berry, just as the battery died. They were able to obtain a new alternator and install it, as well as, charging the battery. He was back on the road by 3:15.

This place is great! I had a tire issue and they fixed it within 30 minutes and sent me on my way. Any other two bit place would have tried to convince me to just buy a new $120 tire, but the man that owns this place has dignity and does business the right way. This was a few years ago now, but I wanted to make sure this review was posted because its rare to find such honesty in the auto industry these days.

First time customer — booked a same-day oil change appointment online, showed up, said I also need wiper blades with zero idea on the details, and left less than 30 minutes later with new oil/filter and wiper blades installed. Waiting area was clean, well lit, not loud, and not smelly. Super easy, great experience!

I needed a new battery. They took my car in right away. It turns out I needed brakes. They had been grabby so I said yes. The man at the counter offered a loaner. I was willing to wait but it was nice that he offered. I had just had my car detailed and it was nice to see that my car came out clean and in a timely manner.I would definitely be back.

Berry Tire & Auto is the most honest shop ive dealt with in Lake County. Their team is very capable and professional when it comes to servicing an automotive needs. I have purchased 3-4 sets of tires, countless oil changes, suspension installations (sorry again Mike and Jim) and they probably have the best alignment around. I highly recommend working with Jason, Dan, and Dave for all of your automotive needs. The guys in the shop are awesome too.

Great service, great mechanics and fair pricing.

I took my mother’s car here for the first time after taking my car here with a positive experience. All her car needed was an alignment and oil change. After I take the car back the wheel starts to shake and pull. I take the car back and show one of the mechanics the issue on the test drive. They give me a call back and tell me I need new tires which was true, what they failed to do was take the car on a test drive after the alignment. If they would have done that simple task they could have saved days of headache and wasted time over these new mystery problems. They claimed they aligned the car, yet never provided me any measurements. I took her car to the dealership where it was purchased and they installed new tires and performed ANOTHER alignment. I requested the before and after measurements of the alignment which showed Barry’s did not perform the alignment properly. I took these measurements back and did receive a refund for the alignment that the man at the front desk insisted was performed even with the measurements on paper. Not to mention they gave me a loaner car which was courteous. The only problem is that it stalled while driving and almost caused an accident. Proceed with caution when taking your car here.

Great place! Great bunch of people in there. I got a great set of Mickey Thompson tires and rims there for my Jeep. A considerably lower price than other places (and sites) I checked. Much better service than a local competitor. The Jeep looks and feels 100 per cent better. I went back for what is called by Jeep forums the Death Wobble that I had before the new set. We talked about what caused it and they nailed it! Fixed it quickly in the morning and it rides better than it did new. These people are professional and courteous; there is a reason their parking lot and the area around are full, I will be bringing cars back to them. Thanks Berry!

Had my brakes done and told them something was wrong with my suspension gave me my car back and told me nothing was wrong. Second time back I tell them my brakes are making noise and something is wrong then told me its not my brakes it is my suspension so they order my part install and make me pay for alignment. Car is in same condition before they fixed it so third time back they tell me its something else on my suspension and the new part they have to order has the same part they ordered for me the second time wasted over a 1000 dollars and wasnt fixed dont even want to deal with it anymore went to a gas station and told me exactly and fixed it for me for not even what they were asking.

I had a screw in the right front tire. They said it was too close to the side wall to repair. They said they could sell me a tire for $110. I asked them to put the spare on and put the flat tire in the car I took it to another place they repaired it and so far Ive driven 2000 miles on it with no problem. Be careful going there.

Fixed one problem and created another. Whoever fixed my car was careless and negligent. My car literally stopped in the middle of the road few mins after driving it off.However, they corrected the new issue.

My mother has been going here for years and recommended it to me so I decided to give them a shot. I asked to get my heat shield replaced above my muffler and I was charged $30 for the service which is fair. I then get in a minor accident and take it to Berrys again. They charge me over $1,400 for the services and dont even do it right! My car is not safe to drive as my strut feels like it is about to pop out of my car. While fixing it myself I realize that they didnt even fix my heat shield, the zip ties I used to temporarily hoist it up were still in place. Ridiculous service.

When they put on new tires they were unable to seal the bead. Needed air every two weeks. When I complained they told me it must have been something I did. Probably 6 trips to this place over a year and still leaking tires. One trip to Waukegan tires and no problems. Save yourself a year of headache and head somewhere else.

Have been coming to this shop for 14 years now, I have always received fast and friendly service. I moved an hour west over a year ago, went to multiple shops out west only to get ripped off and have more parts break. I just recently had my vehicle towed an hour east just to go to this shop again. I will not be going anywhere else as long as I am living in the Chicagoland area.
