Came here for an oil change as i had a coupon and needed my car serviced. From the moment you pull in, even if they busy, they come to greet you with water and a kind hello. They even brought juice boxes for my little kids in the back seat which was nice.They are quick on getting what you asked for done. They will offer additional things to be done, but only if you want. Zero pressure! They complimentary topping off of fluids and airing of tires was nice. A quick cleaning of your windshield and you are off to the races. I will use them again for sure.

I had my granddaughter’s oil changed at Steve Padgett’s Honda, where I bought her car from because the first oil change with them are free. The oil and engine light came on Friday night. So, i decided to take it to Take 5 Oil Change Saturday morning to have the oil checked. After lifting the hood, the awesome employee asked if I knew the oil cap was missing, I didn’t. So, I had to go buy an oil cap and go back to Take 5 Oil Change. The oil had gotten all over the engine and the guy showed me the dipstick, no oil whatsoever was on it! They filled the car with oil and cleaned the oil off the top and bottom of the engine, at NO CHARGE, because the manager, Tiffany said she just wanted to make sure we were safe in driving the car!!! How sweet and awesome is that for customer care!!! They went way above and beyond my expectations! So, a big shout out to Tiffany and Quionn!! I would definitely recommend this place of business to anyone!!!!

Natalie and Will were a amazing! They told us theyve been working by themselves since super early in the morning and were still working super hard when we came by around 7 p.m. They offered our little one a juice pouch and some fruit snacks! Our experience was great and we would visit again for sure! (:

Super fast, super polite. One of the dudes was staring at me a little creepily but he probably didnt mean to and wasnt really. Just an odd vibe. Excellent service however, and we didnt even have to get out of the car.

The Take 5 staff is always very friendly and professional. The lead technician explains everything they will do your vehicle and help you make the best decision on oil for your vehicle. Highly recommend taking 30 minutes out of your day to get your oil changed here!

My daughter took her Toyota Highlander for an oil change at Take 5, Lexington SC. Later that day, about two-thirds into her trip to Charleston, she started hearing flapping noise from underneath the car. She stopped on the side of the interstate and noticed the splash shield was loose. Take 5 apparently only used a couple of screws to reattach the splash shield after the oil change. She duct-taped it to hold in place. Upon her return I (her father) went by Take 5 Lexington, SC location to inform the manager named C.. They had me fill out a claim form and said Take 5 would order a new splash shield since the other one was damaged from flapping and not being reattached properly. They zipped tied the damaged part for the meantime. Four weeks have gone by and I havent heard anything from them, so I called today. Manager C. doesnt work there anymore and the person answering took my number and said district manager Natalie would call me back today. No call back either. Im very disappointed at the unprofessionalism. Im also filing a complaint directly on Take 5s website along with our paperwork. Im still expecting the promised new splash shield and a refund for the botched oil change.

I’ve been to so many great locations of this business but this is absolutely not one of them. The last two times I’ve been here, I’ve sat here for 30 minutes without anyone even speaking to me. It took an hour for an oil change. People that got here after me got helped before me. Last time I stayed. This time I couldn’t take it past 45 minutes so I left. I’m really disappointed because I’ve always liked take 5 but I won’t be coming back to this one.

Their employees only make $8 an hour and try to upsell you on everything because they get a commission. How is that ethical? Pay them a decent wage and have them be honest and actually provide services people really need. This is disgusting. Why would I want someone who is overworked and under paid, not to mention under trained working on my car.

Multiple times Ive been here, and every time it seems like they take longer. No one has come to speak to me ever, even when i watch them talk to every car around me. Kinda frustrating.

Derrick checked the dip stick and double checked with his manager. End result, the oil in the car was still clean and he suggested to wait longer before an oil change was needed. That honesty was refreshing and appreciated.

I usually go here to get my oil changed and Ive never had any problems but today they were closed when I stopped in. It was at 6 in the afternoon and everything online says they are open until 8. Maybe its due to worker shortage but I might have to find a new place to get it changed.

The service was exactly as stated. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The manager Colby came over to make sure that everything was okay. It was a very pleasant experience and I will continue to use them for my oil changes.

Currently still in line going on 30 minutes. They let people cut in line in front of us after being here (without being helped at all - might I add) and just messed around the whole time. Still havent gotten my oil changed so I cant speak on the quality of that but the wait has been absolutely ridiculous. The man with the lighter button up (Manager maybe?) was the only helpful one. All the young boys are terribly unprofessional.

I just had the worst experience while waiting to get my oil changed on my lunch brake. I work for Engineered Systems, Inc. and we are a multi-state company that has recently started using Take 5 for our fleet vehicles. I decided to take one of my vehicles there on my lunch for an oil change. There were 3 lanes and all had one in the bay and one waiting so I pulled to the far bay to keep from tying up the roadway. I waited over 30 minutes for my lane to finally be clear. Cars had waited then left without getting oil changes in the two lanes beside me. There was a blue car who had just pulled in and an escape beside me who had pulled in after a vehicle in the second lane had left. The gentleman came to my car and i though it was to finally pull me into the bay but instead; with my hood already popped, he asked me to move to the middle bay behind the car who had been waiting less time than i had who was just starting its oil change so that the woman who had JUST pulled in, in the blue car to move into the empty bay i had been waiting over 30 minutes for. To say I was upset was an understatement, that now I had wasted 30 minutes of my lunch and was being pushed to the back of the line...AGAIN. I had to get out to close my hood and I never got my oil changed. WE WILL NOT BE USING TAKE 5 for our fleet vehicles any longer.

My wife and daughter attempted to get an oil change yesterday so my daughters car would be ready for her to take it back to college. Take 5 did not have the oil filter in stock, and explained that if we brought our own oil filter, they could do the oil change and just take the cost of the oil filter off the bill.No problem. I bought the oil filter last night and took it with me this morning. They serviced the vehicle with no problem, however neglected to remove the cost of the oil filter from the bill. This led to a tremendous amount of frustration as the technician tried to explain that he could rerun my credit card, but it could take 10 to 12 days to process the refund. Alternatively, he could just give me a coupon for my next oil change.How hard can it be to void the transaction and reprocess it correctly? That does not take 10 days! Giving me a coupon is an insult. And, why was the oil filter not taken off the bill to begin with?I have used this location many, many times in the past and they have always done a great job. But I have never felt like I needed to scrutinize the bill until now.

Let me just say… this place is AMAZING. soon as i pull in, they offer water. everytime i’ve had an oil change before the people always try to sell me unnecessary things & take forever to get the job done. They were quick, preformed extra services like filling my tires & topping off my fluids & even cleaned my windshield! i just previously changed my air filter myself about a month ago & he showed it to me saying “this is your air filter, looks new & you dont need it changed”, this wouldnt happen anywhere else. it’s hard to find honest people to work on your car being a female. they were amazing, i’m definitely coming back. 11/10!!

2nd time this week Ive been in this line. I used to love coming here. Not sure whats changed to make their service as poor as it is now but need to get back in shape. Once again, 3 bays open and only 3 people working. They wont tell you its a 45min wait(if your lucky), you have to figure that out on your own.My favorite...they dont come talk to you, they just point a finger, walk away. No professionalism and no courtesy. I guess when you dont have enough people on the schedule, kinda hard to be professional (mgmt fault)Get it together Take 5

Got my oil changed here and paid 80 something dollars for it to all leak out. Recently had work done on my car at Firestone and they said I was the second person this week that this has happened to (don’t know the technical terms for this) ridiculous

Service was decent at a market price, but make sure you download a coupon for savings. Also avoid buying extras at higher price unless you want to. I didnt feel seriously pressured. I go there when Im pressed for time, I alternate with my local mechanic who takes more time. Bad things can happen at any place.

I dont think they filled wiper fluid I asked . I had to ask to check tires didnt even check tire pressure he just filled. I wont be back there in Lexington will go back to west Columbia location much better I had to ask for sticker for my car as well .

Didnt check the dipstick just took it out and waited a couple minutes then old me my oil was a quarter low. Then continued to tell me the color was off on the oil. I asked what color it was supposed to be at which point I was told it depended on the oil being used.Uninformed in a best case - flat out lying to me in the worst case.Be careful!They were incredibly nice to my dogs in the car so not a 1 star 😂!

Never will I give Take 5 my business again. This was my first and last time. First off it took 45 minutes to change my oil. ( Which I was somewhat understanding due to the fact they had new hires training) The manager told me that he was sorry that they were having issues getting my skid plate back on. After leaving I get five minutes down the road and the skid plate falls and starts scraping the road. I stopped to see if I could fix it enough to make it home but by the time I stopped it was already sanded down from the road. (Not to mention they put a zip tie through one of the bolt holes) I called immediately and they seemed to not care. After speaking with a manager had me send pictures and told me the issue was sent to corporate and I would be hearing back within a few weeks. Here we are over two months later and haven’t heard anything and know that I won’t be hearing back from them. 10/10 do not recommend this place. Needs way better management and professionalism.

Best oil change place I’ve ever been to. New customer here and You have a customer for life. The manager, I think his name is Robert is the best I’ve ever dealt with. Also he’s a veteran so that’s a plus. Ty and Jon were also amazing. This shop clearly has great leadership and they know how to make you feel good and don’t push products on you. I will be writing the local paper about this place, Local businesses like this need to be recognized. Good job sir.

The staff here are always quick and super friendly! I feel like they are honest with me and don’t try to sell me unnecessary things. It’s more expensive than a traditional oil change, but to me it is totally worth it for how fast and professional they are.

I got my oil changed here. The oil change was fine but they asked about putting air in my tires which I had recently put air in and matched the psi in each at 35. I declined the air but they put air in two tires anyway. When I got home, my air pressure monitor said I had 40 psi in 2 tires and 31 in the other two. What moron does something like that? I will not go back.

My boyfriend got his car serviced by Dalton, Michael, and David today. These guys were AWESOME!! Very friendly & personable, accommodating, professional, efficient and expeditious with their work. Id recommend this particular Take 5 Oil Change business to anyone that I know in need of a good oil change as well as amazing customer service/care. Their posted operating hours are 7 a.m. I showed up at 7:30 a.m., and was told they couldnt do the oil change because they didnt have two employees scheduled to work at that time. Why do they advertise that they are open if they are not. It was a BIG waste of my time.

Who would have thought that getting an oil change could be pleasant?! I had a wonderful experience today and I will continue to return for my oil changes. Dalton and Colby were fantastic. I was asked if I wanted water and they asked if my son wanted a juice box or snack. Everything was checked over by the manager, and they had me out within 10 minutes!

Now as a former employee and manager of this company both as an assistant manager of this location and the store manager of the new West Columbia location I would like to say I’ll always be a loyal customer of take5. From being hired in 2019 by Tim then learning from Tony and Robert trusting in me and believing in me to be a manager I’ve learned a lot. I just want to leave this review and thank everyone from techs like Cyle Ryan new manager Colby and all the guys having my back through out my duration there. Y’all keep it up I’ll see y’all on a regular just for that bottle of water and a smile every time.

Thanks for not addressing the issue.Original post: Just showed up at this location at 7:38 pm. All lanes were closed and the techs were mopping up. Website says they are open until 8pm. If you are stating you are open until 8 you should be open to customers until 8pm not use the last half hour to clean so you can get out at 8.Also I was pulling in and both techs looked at me and went back to mopping. I had to pull up and ask if they were open. One said were closed and just went right back to cleaning.Bummer! New to Lexington and would have liked to support this business. There are so many auto places here in town. A little care and customer service would go a long way to making me want to come back.

Terrible, 1 car 37min. Its Take 5, I thought because it should only take 5 minutes, now I think its because 5 guys stand around looking at each other. 1 guy was texting on his phone.Where is management? Terrible !

I have been in the automobile business for years. This is by far the most professional, nicest place to do business with. They seem to really care for customer service. I will return for my oil changes.

Took car to have oil change.They have changed it last couple of times and did awesome. They told me the truth that I did not need it done until another 4000 miles. However they said lets change your coolant and we agreed. The car afterwards kept running hot. We went back and we knew what was wrong (it needed bleeding. It had air in the line). Asked them if they could help and they said no take it to a mechanic that does this. Huh? So we went to NTB they couldnt help unless we left it and they worked on it early the next morning. All car rentals was closed and Uber couldnt get to us until 45 minutes later. We took chances drove the car home to Leesville having to add antifreeze every 19 minutes or so finally got home 4 hours later. The next day we took car to local mechanic in Leesville. He opened an area at too of car poured 1 1/2 gallons water into car got all air out and it has been running perfect ever since. COST $20 I will never go back again.

I visit Take 5 every time I need an oil change. Every location I have been to has always provided quick and friendly customer service. They let me know of any issues they find and always offer to check and repair it. Amazing staff and always quick and thorough!

I had a fantastic experience at this location today! I hate I didn’t catch names, but all of the employees went above and beyond. My battery died as I tried to leave after my oil was changed, my kids were crying...it was a fiasco. But it was the fastest oil change I’ve ever had, they jumped my car for me, walked me through turning off my oil change light, and even gave my kids juice boxes to help calm them down. I am extremely grateful for all of their help! I even sent my husband there to get his oil changed later today since I had such a great experience. We will be back!

People there were friendly, however two days after my $90 oil change smoke started coming out of my engine and smelled like burning oil. When my husband checked the oil filter it was not tightened all the way so oil started leaking from it. This could have killed my engine! I will never go back...

2015 Subaru WRXOh man where do I begin? Everything was quick easy and painless! The gentleman that I dealt with for the whole period was Ty, great guy kept me entertained with interesting conversation and small talk during the whole job. I didn’t feel like I was an Inconvenience to him and I do believe he was just about to get off work and me coming in made him stay longer but by our conversation and his professionalism I couldn’t tell!The actual service was quick and painless, they let me know about the other services they provide and gave information about each one but never tried to sell me work. I think I’ve found my new oil-change shop...This place is great! I went for the first time last weekend, and even though they were packed, my vehicle was serviced in a timely manner. The cost was reasonable, especially with the online coupon.A few days later I experienced a problem with what I thought was my new cabin filter, but it turns out a mouse had gotten into my fan. These guys got it out for me at no additional charge and gave my kids some treats while we waited. The car has been working great since!

My family and I went in for an Oil change, upon arriving we were immediately offered water. The manager Robert came to our vehicle and offered us drinks and fruit snacks for our children while we waited for the service to be complete. The service was fast and with having young children in the car that is something I really appreciate. We will definitely be returning in the future. Excellent service.

I checked online about the price of an oil change. When I arrived the cheapest price was close to double. They said that an oil change would be one price but all of the oil changes required an extra quart of oil which wasnt included in the quoted price. So the actual price should have reflected the extra quart. The oil change was to include topping all fluids.... later was told this didnt include brake fluid. If I had agreed to all of the extras that they recommended the oil change would have been close to a hundred dollars. I usually get the basic oil change at Walmart for $19.88. They are closed right now because of the pandemic. The workers were polite and it was nice to not have to get out of the car.

Yall did an excellent job on oil change.... Was actually on the way to go out of town to Arkansas and needed oil changed in a quick manner instead of waiting 1hour at jiffy lube or Walmart service center. I was in and out in 2O min... Granted there wasnt a line but just assume it will take at least 20 min unless your already in the system.... They show you your final oil level and make sure your comfortable knowing your oil has been changed.... Very professional service and we will be bringing our vehicles here for now on
