Tonight I was driving and my car was over heating and I was panicking . One shop told me my thermostat was bad. But they couldnt fix it tell the morning. I needed to be home to my kids. Me and my wife called around J.Rs auto answered I explain my situation. At mid night John from j.rs was able to let me in and work on my car. I told him my thermostat is shot. Needs replaced. He asked me a bunch of questions and says that doesnt sound like your thermostat it sounds like a air pocket. He went through and fed me some food. Hour later he said your good man. Ive been driving for several hours and my car runs great. He vacummed my car out and fixed my fuses and I didnt ask. He was amazing. His experience to my car was amazing. Im not from here. The people that own/work at this business leave it abandoned for DAYS and does not return calls to let you know they will be closed for 4 days at a time... even while your car is still there! My car was pretty much held and I couldn’t get in touch with anyone! DO NOT GO HERE!

You can believe the excellent reviews. These guys are very nice and knowledgeable. They even did some minor body work on my car without me asking them to and they didnt mention it when I picked up the car. It was just a pleasant surprise when I noticed it. Thanks!!

I took my car in and they explained each repair that needed to be done. Now rides like an almost new car. Have taken it on 3 trips and have had no problems. My husband took his car and truck in also and we highly recommend JRs. Honest and thorough!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..... Terrible customer service and business practices. Not honest or trustworthy. Had our car for over 3 months. Never answers the phone when we call for status updates. The owner came highly recommended and his reviews were great. His employee apologized on his behalf due to marital issues and advised that he was known for providing excellent work in the past. He indicated that he was screwing up his repuatation lately. Too bad we didnt get the experience what we heard so much about. My husband, went to the shop, paid for the work he did complete and the owner guaranteed that he would complete the work he originally stated he would complete and apologized for his lack in communication. Work has yet to be done. Then he created an entire new invoice and added hundreds of dollars to it, we still have the original. We will be handling this legally unfortunately oh and by the way he wrecked the car since its been up here with him without letting us know. Overall terrible experience. I would NEVER trust my automobiles with him.

I was always skeptical about getting my truck serviced, but after my first visit to JRs Automotive Service I was sold. Because I have a late model vehicle, most of the pricing Ive been quoted at other auto shops has been...ridiculous. (The kind of ridiculous where Ive wished I had a spare kidney to sell just to cover a portion of what they said I needed.) At JRs though? Ive never had that feeling of hysteria when they quote a job. How many repair shops can actually put you at ease because you know your vehicle is in good hands? The staff is knowledgable & professional and theyve always gone above and beyond to provide excellent service. I recently had my transmission replaced and was expecting to wait at least a week to get my truck back. Instead, I had it back early and it actually drives better than it did when I purchased it! Their pricing is always very reasonable and they dont try to upsell services I dont need. I also like the fact that its a locally owned shop so it means a lot to me that Im spending money with people in my own community. It feels good to be able to do business with people who have integrity and take pride in a job well done. I wouldnt take my truck anywhere else.

My wife brought our family car here to find out that our car needed a ton of work... (Not just because the mechanic said so). The mechanic showed my wife all the problems and bad parts. After that the office guy wrote my wife an estimate for the work .. and even said which parts where the worst. We sat down that night and decided which ones to fix in what order.. she went back told the office guy what we wanted and they arranged all the work to be done . .I can not stress how painless this was ... I am very satisfied with the work done and now my wife goes up there for regular oil changes. So I guess you can say we are very happy customers!!!

HORRIBLE. Gave them my car being told it would take them (10 days) to fix. 6 weeks later I still do not have my car. They havent been answering any bodies phone calls all week, and on week 6 of my car still being at their shop, we find out that they went on vacation! Surprised because of the previous reviews looked so good but this has been a long a difficult process after being told week after week that my car would be ready soon and when it is (itll be done right). Its been 6 weeks and Im still waiting everyday for a call so I can pick up my car. I love my car I need my car please fix it so I can have it back!

First of all Lakiesha Barkers review is absurd and so far off base..I am also a customer and employee..The original problem was just tip of the iceberg for all the issues your LATE model car had.. His employee didnt say the things claimed. The vehicle was NOT wrecked by JRS AUTOMOTIVE, the issue at hand was the Barkers did not want to pay for the repairs. Jr has 30 yrs experience and was voted the BEST IN THE STATE NEWSPAPER by his customers for a reason. Jr has MANY loyal customers. He is honest and thorough. He doesnt cut corners or use cheap parts. He puts alot of DEDICATION AND HARD work into all his customers

This is BY FAR the BEST repair facility I have ever taken my vehicle to! They have been my familys repair facility since 2007 and have recently moved and I would drive 30 minutes to have my vehicle serviced by them. They always overdeliver.
