Fantastic experience! We showed up at their door at 8 AM and explained that we were traveling from Kansas to Seattle and our check engine light came on and the code suggested cylinder #1 was misfiring. The front hub bearing went out on my suburban after driving it from Indianapolis. Had it towed to the shop. They provided an online estimate with photos of the needed work. After I approved, they were able to get my suburban repaired the same day. I have been driving it for a little more than a week now, and everything is working great. I am happy to find a great shop to work with, and will return in the future for my automotive repair needs.

Took it in after my car had been leaking an obscene amount of oil. Within hours of dropping it off (without needing an appointment) I had a comprehensive review of my vehicle and what was wrong. They called to go over the report and what was needed and what I could hold off on for now, felt very honest and not pushy at all which was appreciated! I was able to select which fixes I approved all online which made it super easy.Initially they gave a deadline of about a week to order in some special parts but to my surprise they ended up completing the work in just a couple of days!

Came in from out of town. Had starter problems. They got me in right away. Problem was intermittent and only showed up once during the two days they had my truck. They diagnosed it but the part was on back order and they couldn’t order it in before we left town. So we picked up the truck and will fix it later.They were very responsive, easy to deal with, and seemed to be very knowledgeable as well. If I could have gotten the part, I would have had them out it in.

I got my oil change and my tires rotated. Not sure if this is the typical procedure before coronavirus, but they had an easy appointment scheduler on their website. They called me to confirm the appointment. Then, they had a drop box for your keys on the day of the appointment (great for those looking for contact-less interaction).They sent me a link via text before the oil change with an estimate of everything. I reviewed it and clicked Accept.After the oil change, I got another text to review all the details. I was able to quickly see what they checked. They uploaded a photo of one of my tires that had a nail in it.I really appreciated how I was able to see everything on the checklist. For someone who isnt an expert on cars, its nice to view everything on your own time (and on a website that is easy to read).Great user experience! All I did was an oil change, so I cant account for their other services, but I was impressed.

Would like to share my experience today with an employee over the phone today. I simply asked (I think his name is Colby) what services are available in regards to my daughters 2011 Sienna awd. It needs some transmission maintenance and I had previously obtained quotes from several mechanic shops. Youd have thought I was speaking a foreign language, as all he could answer was, Youll have to come in for an estimate. I told him I live in Riverton, not Lehi, and thats a lot of driving just to get a quote. Well, I guess somewhere in the ballpark of $388.00. Then I asked about servicing the differential and transfer case and he stated, Well, that might be part of the trans service, but Im not sure, so just come down and we can give you an estimate. This shows a real lack of concern for the customers time, as I dont have all the time in the world to go several auto repair shops; that is why Im calling. Totally unhelpful, totally uninformed, and totally couldnt give a damn about the customer. And this guy is on the customer service line when people call in? Really?

I needed my emissions test done quickly and they got me in the same day I called. They let me know via text it was done, I paid, and picked it up a few hours later. Fantastic, easy and efficient!

Got my Prius 12v battery replaced.Price was higher than other places, but it was in and out in a morning and within walking distance of my house, so convenience played a factor for me. They know priuses well enough to give me the confidence that my car will continue running smoothly.Signage on the front is confusing. I drove up in the morning and saw a small sign about how to drop off keys, and I even read the sign. I assumed it was for after-hour drop-off like most places places and left because it looked like they were closed, despite being within business hours. I went back home and called them up. Apparently they are a no-contact business due to Covid. No biggie, I understand some people are immuno-compromised and need to be extra careful. It just wouldve been nice to know from the sign on the front. Signage could be more clear about how they ONLY do key drop off. To me it looked like it was optional.

I had just arrived in town and my car broke before getting to the apartment. I had it towed there late in the evening. The next morning they contacted me right away, gave a quote for costs and everything was electronic including photos of the issues. It was great to know exactly what was wrong. They fixed it that day!!! They were extremely easy to work with and made my first day in the city great!

I liked their estimates with pictures- it both informs and gives added confidence. This was my first time with them and they seem very thorough. I couldn’t really gauge the fairness of pricing so can’t comment on that, however they did point out several additional potential problems and told me I would be ok holding off for now, which I appreciated.

We used to go to a well known shop down the street from Garrins for years, but after several issues with them we decided to move on. The reviews for Garrins looked great so we gave them a try. I am so happy we did! Not only was Caleb fantastic with communicating everything to me, he answered all my questions, sent me a detailed report and even referred me to another mechanic to have some work done. He said they could do the work but cant even compare to the price and service that I would get from the other mechanic. They were super helpful in diagnosing a series of issues. One issue in particular, nobody (for two years) could Identify; and they found. They were very professional, patient and willing to accommodate. Diagnostic fee was extremely reasonable. I feel like they cared and leveled with me on what they would and would NOT do if it was them. They were nice about a few “off record” unforeseen minor issues, and the little things really really DO go a long ways in this day and age.

Fast and accurate diagnosis with great communication, theyve quickly found and fixed multiple issues on my older Yukon this summer. I had my car towed to their shop on a Sunday evening after a breakdown, they called me right when they opened and had me back on the road Monday afternoon.

Great place here, went in for an oil change and learned my brake pads were wearing thin, I had 1 and 2 mm front brake pads they said they could fix them that day if I needed, ended up doing the next day and they found that a few brake pins were missing from the person who did my brakes last! They fixed them free of labor charge and were very professional and knowledgeable about the car they were working on (2010 Prius)

These guys are simply the best! We had a family trip planned to Lake Powell and our Ford Expedition was acting up just a couple days prior to us leaving. We would be pulling a boat and so we needed our Vehicle to be performing at its best. The check engine light was coming on and I thought something else might be off with the thermostat. We took it in and Garins quickly diagnosed what was wrong. They were great to work with and made sure to call me throughout the process to let me know the estimate and gain my approval before proceeding. Caleb was very easy to work with and put me at ease. They worked hard to ensure that our car was fixed in time for our trip. In fact, on the day we were leaving the check engine light came back on and I took it back in and they found a minor electrical issue that was a result of a spark plug repair that I myself had done just a few weeks before. Rather than charge me for the hours of work they put in on that they simply said they appreciated my business and hoped I would bring my cars to them in the future. I went to Garrins 2.5 years ago because they had great reviews. We have been going to them ever since. It’s easy to make an appointment to get the work done. I never have to wait in line. Caleb is great at explaining what my car needs and how much it will cost. I drop off the car and they let me know when it’s finished. I always feel confident that they have checked everything over and my car will be safe to drive. I don’t know if they are the least expensive but our safely and the value of my time is worth every penny!On one occasion we were in a small accident. They looked over the car and told us the pros and cons of getting it fixed. We felt that they were very honest. We opted not to get the part repaired. Garrins was fine with that. Great service and super quality work!

I brought my 1996 Jeep Cherokee in to diagnose the CEL and exhaust leak. They found the problem very quickly and called me with the prognosis. Im waiting to get the money together for my repair, but I will be taking it back to Garrins. They arent the cheapest shop for sure, but they warranty the parts and labor for 2 years on any repairs they do. Im a big believer in buy once, cry once, so the peace of mind that comes with warrantied work is worth the extra money.

Had a few different issues, ran a full diagnostic same day and provided a more than detailed report of the issues with cost and informative videos of the how the part works in the video. Happy with my experience, not so happy with my car!
