Kelly was amazing, I have very fine hair that typically gets very flat. Kelly cut my hair in a way that it looks less flat than ever before even after air drying. She was nice and upbeat and pretty quick but also very quality.

Everything about my experience here was exceptional. At first impression the salon is clean and modern while still being warm and welcoming.

Kelly did an AMAZING job on my pixie cut! Im from GA. Having lived in VA for almost 3 years, Id been looking for a new hairstylist for awhile. It is no wonder that Jackie has an extensive clientele without advertising her services. She is amazing with nails, waxing, eyelash extensions, and permanent make up. Her prices are reasonable and she is very kind.

I went in for a balayage treatment for my first time ever at this salon. I booked with Caitie Morgan, and let me tell you it was incredibly worth it!!!! She was so kind and listened to what I wanted for my hair and then she made it happen. Talented is an understatement! She blended the colors perfectly, added layers in the perfect spots, and it just looks so natural! I’m also sure she could fix any “hair-do gone wrong” as well. She also had very reasonable prices. I very much recommend Caitie for any first time customers, or people who often get there hair done. Very pleased with the service!

Morgan with the Good Hair (Caitie) blessed me with a balayage and made me look soooo amazing!! I have very dark hair that had been box dyed last year and she still managed to give me the EXACT color I wanted that would work within one session. She emphasizes multiple sessions to reduce hair damage-which I really appreciate. She was extremely friendly, answered any and all questions I had, was very responsive via her Instagram @ Morganwiththegoodhair and is extremely talented. Despite COVID, the salon was extremely sanitary and I did not worry about possible infection. She works soooo well for a very fair price. I will definitely be going to her again for a second session! I walked into Village 9 for the first time with hair down to my hips hoping to find a good stylist. Julie cut my hair perfectly, and I couldnt have been happier. Shes super friendly and easy to talk to. The whole vibe of this salon is great. I look forward to coming back here soon :)

Went to Village 9 for the first time today for full foil highlights, cut, and blow dry. My hair is VERY damaged so I gave Lori a bit of a challenge but the highlights and cut came out awesome and she gave me so much helpful advise, answered all my hair repair questions, and made friendly conversation. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Ill definitely be coming back. Thank you Lori for all your help!

I had some bad hair salon experiences before coming to Kelly at Village 9, and I was so relieved and happy to finally find a talented hairstylist! I live about 45 minutes from this salon, and it is well worth the drive. Kelly has been cutting one of my coworkers hair for many years, so I went with the referral. I got a haircut back in the spring and it has grown out perfectly. I just made my second appointment! And shes relatively inexpensive!

Lori did an amazing job with my hair! She really took her time with me to make sure i was getting what i wanted. Ive been searching for YEARS for the right stylist and i can confidently say my search is over! Lori is very talented and personable to say the least. Kathryn Worman was born to do hair! She knows exactly what she is doing and she is extremely passionate about hair too. I have had my hair done by other salons/stylist, but Kathryn is by far the best. She really takes her time with my hair- always. There hasnt been one time where she hasnt colored and cut my hair to perfection. I always leave the salon happy!!

After seeing Lori I will not be going anywhere else! She is AMAZING. Lori listens to what I want and has a great attention to detail. I have white blonde hair and have never left disappointed.

Never answers the phone. Impossible to make an appointment. No phone call returns no matter how many times I call or left voice mail. I wanted to make an appointment since it had a great reviews but very disappointed about its phone services

It was okay. My hair did look great on the way out, but everything else was a miss for me. Maybe I saw the wrong person or I was there at the wrong time. I walked in and nobody was there. Five minutes later someone approaches me. I get a consultation with my dresser and then everything was very distant from there. I didnt feel welcomed. I didnt feel pampered and I didnt feel like I was in an amazing atmosphere. On top of that? It was $60.00. If Im going to pay that much, Id rather give it to another establishment. I dont feel like I got what I paid for. They even knew that I had never been there before, but I guess first impressions didnt matter.

Lori was great- executed the cut I requested and wonderful color! She also didnt try to upsell services or push products when I was checking out. I will definitely be booking an appointment with her in the future!

Lori Brouse is the BEST stylist there. I love my cut and color. I brought in a celebrity picture and she was able to match the color perfectly and styled it to match my face shape. I will only be trusting her with my hair from here on out.

Honestly such an underrated place. Ive frequented high end salons in mclean DC and Boston and never had stylists that are as knowledgeable about hair coloring as some of the women that work here. I highly recommend this place for color and cuts. Especially if you have complicated hair! For reference I have super dark hair and no one has ever truly been able to consistently color my hair the blonde I want. They explained to me what the problem has been and fixed my hair!

I waited months before committing to a new stylist after moving here from out of state! I literally visited hundreds of salon pages.. I finally ran across Village 9 and found Kathryn, something told me to give her a try... Almost a year later... Im SO glad I did! She is awesome in every way and I always leave completely satisfied! I have also seen the work of Kelly many times (her station is right next to Kathryns) and shes just as talented! I dont think you will regret giving the salon a chance!

Julie Price is my stylist and shes great! Shes always game to work with me when I want to change up my style and color, wh ich is frequently. But the other stylists seem good too and I think you would be happy with any of them, but Julie is definitely my favorite!

Go there every year for a haircut by Maryls and pedicure from Jackie. Maryls is creative and up to date with latest styles. Maryls is so good, I only get my hair cut and styled by her and Im 5000 miles away in Hawaii. Every year I visit Virginia and I go to Maryls get highlights, color, and cut when I get there and a cut before I leave. You wont be disappointed with Maryls at Village 9 Salon.
