TJs has rebuilt two transmission for my show cars, Very well done and the price was right. He also put a new clutch in my 61, was home before lunch. I would recommend TJs to anyone.

We were not certain at first how things would go but the owner is extremely knowledgeable and had our transmission rebuilt and ready the next day. I will edit an update after we get our truck running this week.Update: Still sticking with my 5 star review. I feel like he may have put some non-essential used parts back in the tranny but it has not mattered. Transmission has functioned flawlessly (for many months now) even though my son and I installed the transmission ourselves and the truck gets abused like a racecar. You may be off put by the owner and the condition of the shop but he was good on his word and got us rolling.

Would give him 0 stars if I could. He bragged that he could fix my wife’s transmission in 3 days or less. Three days later after taking the transmission apart he told us that the transmission in this model car are not rebuildable. We promptly called the dealership to ask questions and the dealer said what the mechanic said was true but also said that the mechanic should’ve known better than to ever have attempted to repair it. Well, the mechanic charged $1200 just to put the broken/unrepaired transmission back together. We had driven the car to his shop on the day of the service but because he made the problem much worse, the car had to be towed away from this horrible shop. NEVER take your car here for ANYTHING. Btw, a coworker of mine had the same exact thing happen to his car at this same exact shop. This guy is a terrible mechanic.

I have taken a couple cars there, and always felt like he was honest with me. I do not understand the other review. I was looking on here to take another car there, and saw this review. Figured I would offer my two cents. I am a repeat customer if that says anything.

This guy is a total rip off.... Had him rebuild a 350 transmission went in picked it up a couple days later took it home and installed. After it wouldnt shift correctly I towed the whole car back for him to check it out. I did have the fly wheel cover on it yet so he wouldnt acknowledge my warranty..... And told me he would call the police if I didnt leave his property. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

When I need something fixed on my truck I can always trust Joe to do good work on it.

Bad service took 3 months + $3700 to fix the transmission after that still did not work had to take to dealer worst car service ever dont go there hes a crook just wants your money
