Highly recommend!!! I am beyond impressed with the customer service. Every single employee I came into contact with was friendly and helpful! They made the entire experience easy with no pressure at all to purchase a vehicle. I truly feel they actually cared about getting me the best deal possible. I LOVE my new car and look forward to doing business with them in the future!
It’s all about Sonya. She is amazing and goes above and beyond. Give her a raise!
Great place to work with a wonderful team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to work or to buy a car.
Do NOT use the service department. (sorry for the long post)I purchased my VW Atlas from them 1.5yrs ago - ok experience. Anyway, this past November I took my car in for a routine oil change and snow tire placement. Everything seemed to go smoothly UNTILI received a call from the service department (on my 38mile drive home) that apparently whoever did my oil change forgot to put the undercarriage panel back on. Given this is a fairly large piece of my car, I was puzzled as to how this could be missed but Keith from VW assured me nothing bad would come of it and that they would gladly put it back on free of charge (WOW, so generous I thought) the next day if I could bring the car in. When I finally got home steam was pouring out from under the hood & my car smelled of burning oil - not knowing too much about cars, I thought this was likely just the result of the missing part. The next morning, as I was getting ready to drive the car back to Lebanon, I noted there was a visible, fairly large, oil leak in my driveway. The car drove ok the 37miles back to Lebanon, however, when I finally got off of 89 and stopped at a red light, I again noted a strong scent of burning oil, as well as, smoke billowing out of my hood. Fortunately (?) as I was literally turning into the dealership, the No oil pressure, stop driving immediately sign flashed on my dash.Come to find out, not only had they forgotten to re-install the undercarriage panel, they had also messed up the oil filter replacement. I was told 2 different stories - 1.) the technician did not replace the o-ring vs 2.) the o-ring broke - which makes me question the validity of what really happened. When I came to pick up my car, though they apologized (Jeff and Keith), they also were quick to stress how they had done the work free of charge and offered me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the inconvenience they caused me or any assurances that their mistake did not damage the life of my engine. I am beyond upset the entire experience and have yet to receive a better apology or any kind of compensation for the stress and inconvenience the entire debacle caused me. I have one pre-paid oil change left with them and I am definitely not going to use it.
Customer Service was outstanding from start to finish in our recent purchase of a pre-owned Lexus. We bought from out of state and they made the process seamless, delivering it right to our front door- thanks team VV!
Great buying experience. No pressure shopping. Quick and hassle free delivery.
New to the area. Ive never had snow tires before Chuck helped me find the right size for both of my cars. I got both cars inspected and ready for winter for a reasonable price. Keith in Service and the shuttle driver were courteous and got me in and out fast. Not quite ready for a new car but I will trust Volvo Volkswagen of Lebanon to help me find the right one. Thank you all!
Excellent service experience for my 2015 Tiguan. Clear communication and work was done on time at a cost just below the estimate. The service tech checked the vehicle over carefully and found some other issues that should be attended to. Will definitely return to this dealership for future service.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, I tried calling to make a appointment with issues on my car net and they told me because I did not buy my car from them they would have to charge me for the work. This is a lie because VW offers a bumper to bumper warranty for 50k I find it very upsetting because I was trying to find a local place to establish service with for future services and needs.
Perhaps the worst service Ive ever received on a vehicle. Brought the vehicle in on Tuesday for a 2-day service. Was told on Tuesday additional work needed to be done, but should be finished by Wednesday. Called Wednesday, they said it would be Friday. Called Friday, they said it wouldnt be done until Monday. Called on Monday (today) they still dont know when it will be done. I got, The technician is working on it. They have not returned several calls. They dont know when the car will be done. Its a standard water pump replacement. I know its an involved service, but they should be able to give an estimate on when it will be done. Been without a vehicle for a week now, and dont know when Ill get it back. No apology. DO NOT bring your vehicle here.
I recently had a horrible service experience.I called to schedule an appointment and told them that I have the VW care maintenance plan and needed to schedule the recommended maintenance and an oil change (the oil change needed notification popped up on my car). I was scheduled for an oil change and tire rotation and alignment. There was no mention that the recommended maintenance would not be covered by the MAINTENANCE plan. I let them know that I would pick the car up after work that day, around 7pm. There was no mention that that would be an issue. On Wednesday 8/12, I dropped my car off in the morning before my shift. On the slip, I wrote that I would pick the car up at noon if it was ready, otherwise I would pick it up after 7. I called during my lunch break at noon and they said it would not be ready. I reiterated that I have the maintenance plan to pay for the services. There was no mention that the services were not covered. I again told them I would pick the car up after work, after 7. They told me the keys would be left in the car with the paperwork when I came to pick it up.A bit after 7, I arrived to pick my car up. There was nobody there except for one mechanic. My car had been locked and the mechanic could not find the keys. I was stranded in a parking lot for 45 minutes while a family member brought the spare key so I could finally go home. While I was waiting, I saw that I had a voicemail from them that I missed because I was working (which I had told them I would be 3 times by then). The voicemail made no mention of payment needed. The next day, I received a voicemail that they heard I was able to pick up my car last night and I needed to call back to “settle up.” I returned to the dealership to pick up my key that they still had. I was then told that I had to pay $130 for services that I thought would be covered under my maintenance plan before they could give me my key back. Again, it was NEVER mentioned that the recommended maintenance services would not be covered under the maintenance plan when I scheduled the appointment or when I checked in to see if my car was ready. The only service that was covered was the oil change. The “solution” to their “disconnect” was to sign me up for text messages, so that next time I was working and could not answer the phone, they could just text me instead, which is an extremely unacceptable solution for making a customer wait in a parking lot while it was getting dark and wasting over an hour of my time after a long shift. The GM knows about this incident and has not reached out to offer an acceptable solution or to apologize, which just goes to show how much they care about their customers.I am thoroughly disappointed by the experience I had with them. My service and that of my family and friends will be going elsewhere from now on.Edited to add: Unlike what they said in their response, I only received ONE phone call at 5:12pm on the day my car was serviced. It was also not washed like I had been told it would me. Still extremely disappointed in their response to what happened.
I recently went to Volkswagen Volvo of Lebanon while looking to purchase a used vehicle. Lynette was incredibly helpful and took the time to let me test drive three vehicles and talk me through a few more. Great spot w/ a lot of new and used vehicles and friendly sales staff!
It was awesome. I give them a 10 plus. They have always treated us as if we were special and have always done a good job and at fair prices.
The single worst customer service experience of my life. Dave Rector was a pleasure to work with when he sold us our vehicle, and I loved my car, but when any issue arose with the vehicle their service department was abysmal. Ive never felt so disrespected in my 20 years of buying cars. I promptly sold the vehicle back and gladly took my business elsewhere. I suggest you all do the same.IN REPLY TO THE COMMENT BELOW: This company admittedly does routine alignments during seasonal tire swaps but twice (once at 8500 and 13500 miles) did not rotate tires or perform an alignment despite acknowledging that this is needed in harsh New England road conditions. Accordingly, my car was out of alignment when they should have checked for that, my tires wore bald, and I was told it was my fault and subsequently mocked over the phone for not knowing to check the alignment myself. This is simply appalling behavior for someone attempting to sell me $30-50k product. If they are willing to let you walk away and take a lifetime of business elsewhere over what costs them approximately $200 in tires, do so. Completely shameful.
Over the years, I have always had a good experience with the service department at VW/Volvo Lebanon, and my last visit was no exception. I had my car in for inspection and because it took longer than usual, the service manager made an exception and did not charge me. What a great gesture and considerate customer service. This is a perfect example why I keep going back for service.
Pro: Super helpful, willing to go the extra mile when showing you their selection.Con: stiff and unwilling to negotiate price (not even willing to have that conversation), they probably assumed our sale was assured. They firstly offered a model which was not on their lot saying there was no issue, then lied they could not guarantee the price the day it came in, what is that?! We then found another VW dealer who did basically nothing for their sale because I knew what I wanted at that point. The new dealer was very willing to negotiate and got my sale, and again the exact model had to be ordered but wow, no problem for them.
Overall service ok - not as good Miller. Communication is lacking - they don’t provide details and you constantly have to ask for more. They don’t provide additional paperwork. They don’t proactively reach out to customers : I found out after I got to my appointment the part was not even in. Service team doesn’t really go the extra mile to look into problems nor do they seem to do the complete car inspection that others do. I found the cause of an issue- after service was done (and didn’t fix the issue) was caused by a low tire that should have been caught during service.Updated 9/30. Still communication issues : not providing all details, or misleading. car checked out and done - but then when you ask and a specific item - its not done yet. Then when done, they dont do any overall checklist like any other dealer. And forgetting to reset the oil change due status? How basic is that?? So far every service done they have switched from Miller has been problematic. B
I am not just an employee, but a client as well. I was looking for a luxury car. Our GM Keith Higgs found the right vehicle at the right price to fit my lifestyle and budget! A beautiful Mercedes-Benz E350.
This was a very easy car buying experience! Chase communicated via email with me and answered all of my questions. He was super responsive and pleasant! Mike in Finance was quick and got us a competitive rate. After all was said and done, we left we a brand new vehicle at a VERY reasonable price! Other local dealers couldn’t compete. I would highly recommend Chase at Volvo Volkswagen Lebanon if you are looking for a fast, friendly car buying experience.
I love my 2018 Tiguan! Everyday I find a new feature. Kyle was really great to work with. I appreciate all of the details and accommodations. Thank you to the whole team!!
My 2013 VW Tiguan had a broken clock spring (drivers side airbag light on, all buttons on steering wheels dont work, horn doesnt beep), which is rather premature for a car of 60,000 miles. I called Miller VW Lebanon for a service appointment to get it replaced—they are 5 minutes away from me. The male service advisor questioned my ability to diagnose and insisted that the car has to go through a $120 check-up. Once the technician decides it is indeed the clock spring, they will replace it, which he gave me a quote for parts and labor at about $600. I was pretty confident with my diagnosis in view of the symptoms, so I decided to try another VW. Thank Mother Theresa that I did so! Turned out the particular clock spring is of problematic design and is covered by VWs extended warranty, when VW Rutland in Vermont told me so I couldnt believe my ears. Naturally, I drove there and got my car fixed for free. Did Millers service advisor intentionally deceive me? Your own judgement is better than mine. All I want is to recount facts in this review. He did ask for my VIN and I also told him the exact part number of the clock spring I needed. It is not ideal that from now on for any service I will have to drive one hour one way to Rutland, VT. But they simply earned my trust after the event.
Phenomenal Volvo and Volkswagen Dealership. Friendly and outgoing Sales people and an equally awesome Service Department. I would absolutely 10/10 recommend everyone buying their next new car from these folks!
I went in today, with no expectations of bringing a vehicle home. I was greeted by three amazing gentlemen. Chase, who was my car salesman, Shane, and Jason. They all had such warm, friendly welcomes.Chase made the process very easy for me, and with assistance from the GM Keith and the Finance Manager Mike, we were able to seal the deal on my new 2019 Tiguan! They all worked around my budget and goals, and were very informative.I highly recommend checking them out!
From start to finish this has been a wonderful experience with the VW service department! Keith was friendly, welcoming, communicative, and helpful, even providing me with a brand new loaner vehicle while the needed parts for my car were in transit. I will absolutely be sharing my experience with local family who will be in the market for a new vehicle in the near future. This is exactly the kind of person you need at a dealership service department, and it reinforces my dedication to the VW brand: this is my households third new VW since 2006, and I expect well remain loyal in the future due to impeccable brand representation like this. Thank you Keith!
Always helpful and gives great advice. Attentive to customers and willing to take the time to answer questions! Highly recommend if youre in the market for a new car.
This dealership is amazing! Very intelligent and helpful, I worked with a salesman named Shane who is an amazing guy and made the process unbelievably easy. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat!
Service was good last week when I visited for my 20k mile service and oil change.
Best VW customer service in the Upper Valley, and possibly in this planet! Kudos to Sonya, Keith, and Steven. Great job guys! Keep it up!
I took my car to Miller to do a check up before a road trip. They charged the labor hour and said it would cost around US$8K to change front suspensions, brakes (paddles and rotors), ABS, etc and I should sell the car in craigslist because it wouldnt worth the repair.I bought all the parts and I took to two other mechanics. Both said the brakes were fine, it didnt make sense to change yet. The front suspensions were fine, but there was a broken spring coil that Miller didnt notice.I end up with a bunch of spare parts that I wont need for a few months/year at least, paid for a check up that misdiagnosed everything and fixed my car for less than US$500.
The best dealership hands-down! Bill Patten gave us undivided time and knowledge taking us through our options and helping us purchase our new VW. We had great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend Bill and the crew here
I was in a few weeks ago for 30,000 mile service on my XC60 Volvo. While I know and understand that it takes many parts to make a good team, I felt the need to comment on one of your star players. Mike continues to surprise me with the level of service I have yet to see anywhere I go. He answers all my questions . If for some reason he cant answer my question he actually follows through with my request and calls me back with the info. He knows what my needs are as a customer and goes out of his way to make sure I am comfortable while I am there.. Perhaps you feel Mike is just doing his job. I however feel you have a very good man in charge of a big department that a requires a star player to keep you on the winning team.
This play is amazing they fixed everything I needed. The staff is superb they have Great service with a great smile
It was a great experience, i was in and out. Shane was very helpful and answered all the questions i had.
Had a great car buying experience with this crew! Needed an affordable car, fairly seamlessly....The sales manager sean was an excellent resource, he kept the experience real and helped me find the perfect vehicle. I purchased the car late in the day so it couldnt be cleaned, but they offered me next day service which was efficient and well done. I will definitely buy another vehicle here! Thank you!
Traded in my Toyota Corolla for a 2018 Passat and was very satisfied with the experience provided by the sales staff. Financing paperwork only took 8 minutes to complete. The service department is also very adequate at what they do. The VW service advisor is very friendly and got both of my vehicles serviced in a timely manner.
Everyone was super kind and helpful to a family member! Very pleasant experience.
I always have my car serviced here. They do it right the first time and they have a shuttle service that takes me into town and picks me up again. The shuttle drivers are always great.
Glad to have such a great experience, keep up the great work
Absolutely terrible dealership! Awful communication and the salesmen are a joke! They take advantage of people who don’t know much about cars to get more money out of you. The GM is also a poor manager. Not helpful at all. Definitely don’t suggest going here!
Purchased my used Audi from them last year and recently had an issue with another dealer, so call Keith Higgs at this dealeship. He stepped up! We were stranded an hour plus from home with a vehicle we could not drive. He arranged for transportation, had our vehicle brought to their service department and what was a 6 hour job turned out to be a 5 minute job. Thats is customer service. Highly recommend!!
Jarad,(service dept.) was understanding and acted VERY professionally. I have no issues with this dept. AT ALL. I have been coming to Miller for over 10+ years. I have purchased at least 2 cars there as well. One minor problem which in my mind was minor, was attended to and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes without an appointment.
Dealt with Bill purchasing a 14 Jetta, Bill helped me a lot through the process to get the best deal possible. A fuse blew in the 12V to charge my phone, they fixed that immediately. Ended up with a great deal and car I love. The whole VW/Volvo crew was very friendly and helpful. I will go back for future vehicle purchases.
I was impressed by the attitude of professionalism at the store. Even the maintenance people were friendly, courteous and helpful, opening doors and everything. Made me feel like royalty.
The service department is great. I dealt with Ian and he made it simple, and easy!
The service I received was EXCELLENT ... once the issues was diagnosed and the reality that I caused the problem... your team was quick to take care of me and my car. Jarred was my contact person and he did an OUTSTANDING job.
My 2000 Beetle had broken down right in front of the dealership and I ended up driving home with the last 2012 model with a nice deal. They drove 2.5 hours to bring me the paperwork to sign the next day. They definitely did go the extra mile.
Went to the Miller auto group inquiring about Volkswagens. The lady there was extremely nice and informative! No decisions made yet, but when the time is right I’ll be back to the vw service department again to deal with Sonya!
Jarred was Awesome! ... The problem was all my own, but he did not make me feel guilty or blame me... He communicated with me in a timely manner, and my car seems to be running fine.
On my second VW purchased thru Miller. Got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. They had to go find my exact car and they did without delay No hassle, no drama. They really made it an enjoyable experience. Very easy transaction. The whole process was very transparent.
They actually completely took advantage and screwed a 16 year old high school student who worked 2 years straight to earn money to buy a nice car. CROOKS CROOKS
If you feel like being raked over the coals, this is the place for you: ask for Rick and Chris!I negotiated a price with a salesperson, expecting to pick up my car the following day. Apparently the price I negotiated with the salesperson would be at a lose for the dealership. Rather than tell me this, straight up, they gave me excuse, after excuse, and had various people calling me with different stories about why my car was not available for pick up. I would have felt better had the staff been honest about the mistake, but they kept lying. Even worse was the fact that the Sales Manger, Chris, was very unprofessional.. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.
I blew my tire out and nobody in the surrounding area would help. I called Miller VW and they got in my car in the same day. Great service.
We shopped around A LOT for our new vehicle. We settled on two different cars and visited several dealers throughout VT and NH. Miller VW was above and beyond any of the other dealers. They never tried to sell us something we werent asking for, they didnt push us to look at a used vehicle, and they were extremely professional in the negotiation process (they didnt try to belittle us or make us feel like we were ripping them off - two of my biggest pet peeves). Cindy was amazing and worked really hard to find us a car that would fit our criteria. We even ended up finding that Miller had the best prices on vehicles. I would absolutely buy a car here again! Best car buying experience Ive had.
Probably the worst buying experience we have ever had. We bought used a car from Miller. Then found the car had issues we were not told about. When we took it back the salesman tried to work with us, but the sales manager told us that the salesman had no authority and Miller would not fix the issues. In short, he called his own salesman a liar! We were surprised at the lack of customer support and follow through that was promised.
Just spoke with Keith Higgs and the 2 year bumper to bumper contract issues I have was just poor communication. Keith told me he would get me this contract once I explained the issue here. Thanks Keith cant wait for the contract. Pleasure doing business with you.Purchased a car here recently from the owner and Bill the sales agent. Johanna was great and Bill was unprofessional and unethical at best. The owner told me I would have a 2 year bumper to bumper contract. When I reviewed the paper work and noticed this Keith Higgs said he was unaware of this. I asked if I could speak to Johanna and he replied she was on vacation and had no idea when she would be in. The point communication was awful and the service and integrity of the delearship is nonexistent and still they did nothing to honor the deal the owner made of a 2 year bumper to bumper contract.
Great experience shopping at Miller Volkswagen. Everyone was very professional, helpful, and customer oriented.
My wife brought the car in for service and surprised me when she told me that the service adviser showed her how to save money on the repairs that the car needed. Turns out it didnt need as much as we thought it did. Nice looking out for the customer.
Worst experience at a dealership / service department ever. Called ahead to order a 2nd key for a new, older VW Rabbit we purchased for our teenager. They took my information including the VIN and my credit card information, confirmed they would order the part (key) and asked me to call back in a week or so to schedule the programming visit. I called two weeks later, confirmed the key was ordered, and also asked them to order a replacement driver-side seat belt. The parts person again took the VIN and my credit card information to hold payment in case I didnt show up to have the seat belt installed. Arranged an appointment for 2 WEEKS OUT (May 24) to complete the key and seat belt services. Drove an hour and a half, dropped off the car at the service center, asked them to look at the rear wiper (its stuck) and the brakes (need to push really hard for them to work) and asked for them to provide estimates to have that work done at a later time, not during the current visit for the seat belt and key. I left to go on a two-hour walk while they worked on the car. An hour later, they call, letting me know the seat belt wasnt in yet (what!) and the technician needed to speak to me about the brakes. I walked back to the dealership. Upon arrival, the parts manager, came out to say, I take responsibility. We DIDNT ORDER your key or the seat belt. To make up for the inconvenience, Im only going to charge you cost for the items. What? Id spoken to the parts people TWICE around the key and seat belt, confirming theyd been ordered. To make matters worse, a service person tells me Looks like the brakes are hydraulic issue, the tech has 45 minutes already into looking at the brakes and did I want him to go further? I responded by stating I didnt know what he meant. He said, We bill service time at $119 an hour. I said Go get my car. Bring it around front. Not only did they drop the ball with the key and seat belt, but now they want to bill me hundreds of $$ to give an estimate? It felt like I just kept getting punched. I left completely disgusted with this dealership, their personnel and they overall experience. I then drove another hour and half home. Completely wasted my time, took up an entire day and moreover, I have to get someone at my house to cover caring for my 94 YO grandmother. The logistics of me being able to make an appointment involve a lot of moving parts. I cannot believe they couldnt have called me ahead of time to rearrange the appointment, that THEY didnt have the parts (ordered 4-weeks and 2-weeks before) ready for the appointment and the complete LACK OF DISRESPECT AND ACCOMMODATION for their complete negligence and disregard for my time and money. I will find another dealership to program a key for me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND going to this establishment. Car owners BEWARE.I wish we could give zero stars. My experience doesnt deserve even the one star.
We did the bulk of our looking at Kinney Volkswagon and loved them as well. Tom Shanahan did a great job with the test drive and answering our questions. Unfortunately we wanted a lower price than they could offer so we shopped around and found Miller.
If I could give 0 stars to these absolute crooks I would. They steal your money with any car at that lot, and I can’t fathom how terrible the sales guys are. They all are rude and don’t care they just want your money. The service department at vw Miller is also horrible. They are rude and don’t help you out. They take there time, also the mechanics took my friends car back there who is 16 to replace a wheel bearing and then came back and told him his cv boot was destroyed and needed to be replaced immediately or else he couldn’t drive the car, when the car was driving just fine previously. Then charging my 16 year old friend who has to balance work and school about 700 dollars. Absolutely horrible, I will never be going back there again.
Jared was great. He kept me informed as vehicle was being worked on, suggested ways to keep the costs down and showed me what work was done when I picked up the car.
Always a positive experience here. They wash my car every time I have it serviced here!
This is my second purchase at Miller VW. In both cases they provided a great deal and were very clear and professional.
I love this dealership! From the sales floor to service department, everyone is very professional and kind.
Miller VW really is as unbelievable as everyone says they are. No one in the Upper Valley can fathom how theyre still in business!Their staff is truly the worst of the worst--both lazy and arrogant.Service staff is reluctant to help, and charges wherever they can, even if youre under warranty.Parts department is downright rude--if you interrupt their solitaire game, you will get an attitude! Computers not working, come back tomorrowNo thanks!
I guess all the rumors are true. Buying a car is a great experience but the service department is awful. I had an appointment to get my tires changed and aligned and it took them over three hours. Why?...they said thats completely normal....Im sorry, but changing tires and aligning does not take three hours. I have been to other vw dealerships and it took 45 mins. This place is a joke and I hate that I bought my car from here. Love the car. Hate the place
My sales person was very polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would be more than happy to see him for anything I have to do with my new Jetta.
You guys are always helpful. Thank you for replacing my key. We are on the road a lot and certainly dont want to be stuck.
They are great and friendly to deal with
Had a great experience with the sales team at Miller Volkswagen Volvo! I leased a VW Passat TDI and love the car. My leasing went smoothly from start to finish, and the service since has been excellent. The sales group was very professional and I actually felt like they were working for me. Highly recommended!
I found your pricing was very fair, compared to other dealerships, or non-dealer shops (which I wont go to any more)… Plus, I did get a very nice coupon this visit and I am very happy about that.
Jarred who handles VW service is awesome--super attentive, detail oriented and realistic about what his department can do and not do. Highly recommend this VW dealer--I bought my Golf here and have been happy to have it serviced here as well.
Great experience with multiple purchases and service especially Volvo
I believe you are truly trying to run an exceptional dealership, and appreciate your efforts.
Good experience: staff were pleasant, work went off without a hitch with exception of unreturned initial online request for appointment scheduling (which was no big deal), amenities on site were helpful.
I was a VW fan, but not anymore. I just spent 900$ to repair the intake on my 2012 VW Tiguan SE after a check engine light came on. I was told that my car was ready to go and went in to pick up my car after work. The check engine light was off and everything seemed fine until I drove it out of the parking lot and the check engine light came right back on. I called the dealership and told them that the check engine light came on again right after I left the lot and they told me to bring it back in. I did, they checked the codes and said that it was a valve that needed to be lubed and then charged me 106$ just to read the codes! Shouldnt that have been covered the first time I dropped my car off and spent 900$!!! Im done with Volkswagen service.
I have purchased and leased two Volvos from Miller over the past 5 years. Since then, things have taken a turn for the worse. I found their new general manager, Sean Johnson, to be highly arrogant, chauvinistic, and lazy. Not only did he fail to answer my email questions (although he did acknowledge receiving them), he did not make himself available for our pre-scheduled appointment at 9AM on Saturday morning (Labor Day weekend). Instead, he hid in his office and instructed his subordinate to deal with me. At no point did he greet or acknowledge me, even though the dealership was completely empty of other customers. He also didnt have the two cars ready for me to test drive. In fact, I had to bring one of the vehicles to a gas station before I could test drive it.So if you are considering purchasing or leasing a Volvo or VW, I strongly recommend you think twice about giving this particular dealership your business, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman! I also intend to follow up with a letter to Volvos corporate office regarding my experience with this particular general manager.
If you read the edmunds dot com article Confessions of a Car Salesman it will turn a horrible experience into a mildly humorous one. They literally did everything the scummy dealership did.I went to look at a used 2013 Golf GTI with 58,000 miles on it. They were asking $18,995 even though the car is only assessed at $16,500 through a dealership. They tried to show me the fair price according to NADA($21,000), which is a price determined to be fair by dealerships in conjunction with banks. So Im suppose believe a dealership thats trying to make money off of me and a bank thats trying to make money off of me are coming up with a fair price. I wasnt even planning to finance since I had cash, so this price made even less sense.I then showed them a similar GTI 45mins away with half the mileage that was going for $17,000. The manager got visibly annoyed then dismissively told me to check the car fax.During our test drive the salesman kept having us turn right (read the article), so I asked him if he didnt want me to turn left. He let out the most awkward nervous laugh Ive ever heard.Id only go here if you have an afternoon to kill and want to watch someone who reeks of patchouli try to outsmart you.
Yesterday, Miller VW serviced my 2003 Passat. It was quite an experience. Not only were your colleagues knowledgeable; they also were professional and courteous. Your company provided shuttle service for me, even though my car is old and was purchased elsewhere. Jerad phoned me with prices and updates. I didnt have to call repeatedly about costs and the cars status. Its obvious that these kinds of things are normal at the Miller Auto Group, but Miller VW is the first dealer where Ive encountered such excellent service.
Horrible customer service. Very pushy all around.
All staff are very helpful and pleasant. The person who sold me the car even approached me to make sure I was still satisfied with my purchase.
I went to Miller VW to lease my first car, MISTAKE. Their salesman dont give you accurate information (even when you ask them specific questions) and the management has no respect for the customers. Because they misread a serial number, it took six hours for my lease paperwork to get done, and I have spent several hours back and forth between Miller VW and the DMV trying to get the paperwork corrected so I could get my car registered. I was late for work three days straight trying to get all their mistakes corrected, and the manager NEVER APOLOGIZED TO ME ONCE. He acted like I was being unreasonable and told me the paperwork was fine and the DMV was wrong. He was of coarse wrong and the DMV was correct. I live within walking distance to Miller VW and I will never go there again. I will gladly drive to Berlin or Rutland to get my car serviced. I love my 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, but I would highly suggest driving to a different dealership if your thinking about a VW.If you have had a bad experience please call Volkswagen Corporate and explain your story. Volkswagens are great cars, but this dealership is giving them a bad reputation.
Horrible-- I went to Miller yesterday and found a car I was interested in buying. I brought my fiance and showed him the car this morning, and he agreed that we should go ahead with it. The salesman was never anything but polite and accomodating, but then I met Chris, the Sales Manager. I told him that I was going to go home, do my research, and call him back to negotiate. I called other VW dealers and found out what a fair price would be. I called him back and told him that I had a starting point, and ultimately buying the car was going to come down to price for me. He belittled me and was unbelievably condescending because I was honest about my process-- how naiive does he think customers are? Thank goodness I will NOT be buying a car from Miller (sounds like their service department sucks as much as their management).
Our 2012 new car purchase was very positive.
Excellent customer service!
Sonya was wonderful to work with!
Love them! They are the best!
Terrible service. I went in for an oil change on my 1 year old car. Left with over $200 in charges and they didn’t call before performing this maintenance. When I asked about it they didn’t give me a straight answer.
Excellent sales and service
Decent service but, you may have difficulty with non-desk personnel acknowledging your presence at the desk.
Friendly, clean service dept. And showroom.
They go the extra mile!
Just nope!!
Poor service, sales, and communication.
A+
