I drive a rescue truck for dogs and cats. On my way home from overnight recuse drive to Chicago with around 150 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens....I blew a tire, my husband got the info for Bobs Towing and recovery. This was late day on Saturday, he opened his shop and was waiting when I got there. It was very quick and very very reasonable charge....which I was so grateful.Thanks so much for being willing to get me back on the road very quickly.

The tow truck driver was very nice. I think his name was Kyle. I have nothing but good things to say about it.

Price gauging. The county sheriffs made me use this company. They said it would be $1,500.00 for them to come out and lift a boat and trailer on to a flat bed and move it up to the next exit. Then, they say it’s an extra $550 for one truck and the other is $350 an hour and changed their story/pricing multiple times. All in all they come up with the final price amount being $4,175.00 and cannot even tell me why it is that much or how they got that amount. Not to mention they only had one of their own trucks there and there was another wrecker service there, probably because they don’t have the right equipment. Anyways, I called the office and spoke with Lois, she also couldn’t explain the amount either. Said they would send over an invoice with a break down. Still nothing. It’s the same bogus story over and over that they have to talk to the drivers and go from there. Then, to top it all off, they damaged the boat they moved. I asked for their insurance and they can’t even provide me with it. Lois stated that the “owner” of the company has to have our insurance company call them directly. Another bogus claim as it is THEIR fault for the damage and need to handle it the proper way. Crooked company. Don’t recommend.

Price gouging at its best $250.00 for a 5 min job with a rollback....all other companies in the area $75.00, guess what, job got done for $75.00. Shop around before using these people.
