Recently divorced, and married my whole adult life. This is my first time doing taxes head of household. Barbara at the Lawton Oklahoma office is a horrible representative of H&R Block. I Now understand why people dont pay their taxes (its not right, ) but I understand it. Folks like Barb who take no responsibility and if they leave dependants off and make huge mistakes. They question something irrelevant like income, to make you feel as if it was your fault and or implying you did something illegal. And I still have to pay $500+

I was not expecting that that cost would have double from last year to this year for the same service. I can understand going up but to go up 100% I feel is highway robery. I have been your customer all of my life maybe it is time to look elsewhere. From approximately 600.00 last year to 1200.00 this year. Can you explain that to me?

Because I should have been able to get the refund advanced even tho I owed from a prior year that was the reason I filed with hrblock to pay them back and to get the refund advance look like they would have excepted the fact that I filed with them knowing this year they will get they money back but whatever they should have gave me the advance because I filed with them they were automatically gonna get it back

Most unhelpful people when it comes to fixing tax problems. If you did it through their online site or another person, they might as well be telling you who cares we don’t want to help. I called and i could hear a guy in the background telling the woman i was on the phone with in a very rude tone that they weren’t going to help me so don’t come in.
