I entered a contract and made a down payment of half on February 3, 2021, for home repairs. It is August 30, 2021, and Steven (Dynamite) White hasnt started my job and will not refund the money. He does not return text and when I surprised him with a phone call, he gave so many excuses as to why he hasnt started. He told me he would have the job done by the end of July and that I would receive a 10% discount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He had two bad comments on his website for the same issue or not completing jobs. He has multiple judgements against him and this company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Mr. White.

In the middle of February, my boyfriend and I contacted them to come fix a broken closet door, broken cabinet, scratched flooring, and a hole in the wall. We paid in full up front. They were very responsive in the beginning and even fixed all the flooring and patched the hole in the wall but never painted it. It’s now early June and there has been no contact since the end of February. We have repeatedly called and left messages not only to the owner but the business as a whole, still complete silence. We are still missing our closet door, kitchen cabinet, and the half patched wall is still evident. Horrible service, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I called several plumbing companies and they all said they didnt have the capabilities to install the sink I wanted, called the Lawton Handy Man and it was installed the next day. While here the supervisor notices I was remodeling my kitchen and offered his services to do the work I needed within a timely manner.

If you are a landlord make sure you have him send you pictures of his work because hes a liar and will say he fixed something after you pay him and not fix it. If you are a tenant make sure he completes a job and if he doesnt contact you landlord so they dont think youve damaged something he has already fixed because he lied and said he completed the job. Steve does work when he feels like it and again will get paid and not complete a job.

Lawton Handyman LLC came in and got the job done! Not only right, he was on time, and charged me a fair price! These men showed up at 3 oclock to put up some wind damaged siding, they were thorough in their examination of the problem and in how to fix it. Very respectful men and they did an outstanding job on the house, even though it was already dark outside they stayed until the job was done. Most companies will say theyll come back tomorrow to finish it. I recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on their home

These gentlemen are true professionals. They attend to detail. They make sure each component works properly and inspect the area around thier work site. After fixing my dishwasher they noticed the sink handle was loose and fixed it also! They are professional,quiet and polite. Thier service is impeccable.

I called the number for an estimate, and the person who answered told me to go online and fill out a form. I went online, filled out the form asking for an estimate, and I never received a response via email or telephone.At the very least, a professional courtesy of a response stating they could not help me would have been adequate.I would definitely go elsewhere for any type of work, since these guys wont even get back to you.

These guys are professional and quick. I called for a quote on a roofing repair and they came same day for a quote, and completed the job the next day. I then had some landscaping work done, which they were quick and efficient. I’m now looking around for more work I could hire them for because of their quality and ease of doing business with.

I was recommended by a friend for some repair work I had on one of my rent houses. So I called them up and the owner himself came out and fixed the problems, he was very professional and he was affordable and did a darn good job. I refer him to anyone that needs done. As a 3rd party scheduler of maintenance for large retail clients, it is not always easy finding vendors who take care of you from across the miles. I contacted Steve yesterday for a problem job that had been on the back burner for a while and my client was getting antsy. Not only was he professional and courteous, but super accommodating and provided same day service on something I had been trying to get another vendor do for over a MONTH! My store is happy, I am happy, and I look good to my superiors because I found a vendor who can get the job done! This company came into my house and completed did a redo at a great price. I had been burned by so many other handymen, but I wish this company could come to Texas and redo my other house. They just came to my house today and were in and out in 38 minutes! Not only were they fast, but they were thorough and didn’t go until they made sure I was happy. I had a couple small jobs compared to what they usually do, but he didn’t make me feel like I was impeding on their normal schedule of work. They’re so nice, I’m definitely using them again.

Man! These guys are wonderful. My sink came loose from my counter top and I had been searching for somebody to fix it for a couple of months. Well, I found a handyman through some friends who they highly recommend. My friend brought the guy to my house to give me an estimate. He quoted me a price that I felt was petty high but I was between a rock and a hard place with wanting to get my sink fixed and put my house on the mark for sale. The handyman repair the sink and the next day one side of the sink fell down. I called him and he came back out and repair it. Then a few days later the other side of the sink fell down. I called the handyman and he refused to come back to my house to fix the sink, in fact, he cussed me out threaten to come to my house and fight me in my front yard. He told me the only way he would fix my sink was I had to sue him. Now, here I am with a handyman who wants to fight me and wont give me my money back. What was I to do? I have thought long over how best to write the reason I am giving a bad review when I usually only give good reviews:1. We waited 48 hours until he was supposed to come to check our water line to our dishwasher. This meant that we had to clean up the bucket of water that was pouring out of the dishwasher, find the line to the dishwasher and disconnect it and then be available for his convenience with a time block of 4 hours.2. During the 4 hours he never came and then ended up having us wait until 6:30 at night when we finally cancelled the service. The final time away from my business waiting for the convenience of the handyman was 11 a.m.with about an hour taken a break at lunch for which we called and verified with him it was okay, to 6:30 p.m.3. He did not see us as clients because our appointment was set up by a third party and then lied about how it was set up in order to explain his disinterest in our business.4. When I wrote a bad review he called my husband and asked for my husband to tell me to take the review down. He did not apologize. When my husband asked about actual grievances we have with him he said, I dont want to get into that.5. The last we heard before canceling and before I wrote my original review, was a request to give him 4 more hours on our Saturday for him to try to come out.6. I feel if he feels that he did not make a mistake in this, which I totally understand could happen and would be more than forgivable, he will repeat it. That is why I wrote and am rewriting the review.My concern is I would not want to receive a review like this one. However, I would not want to treat my client like he did, either. If we have done any wrong to our clients or inconvenienced any of you like this, I apologize right now. I admit that is not okay.

I have used Lawton Handyman, LLC for several jobs. Dynomite is very professional and has always provided me the best work at a low, fair price. I have always received a free estimate beforehand and they work with me on both price and timing. This is the only handyman in Lawton who will get the job done this well, at this price, and will work on weekends or whatever hours you need. I say that from experience in hiring another local plumber, who charged me far more, complained about working on the weekend, and did a poor job. But Lawton Handyman, LLC, truly does work for the customer and really cares about their customers well-being. Highly recommend.

Im leaving this review on behalf of my mother, who is not tech savvy.I recommended Lawton Handyman LLC to her based on all the great reviews. She has a few things around her house she would like to get done that she is not capable of doing herself (install an exterior door, replace an in-wall A/C unit, etc.). She called last week and scheduled a time for someone to come out to do an estimate on May 15. Not only did this person NOT show up, they did not call to reschedule or explain that they would not be able to do the estimate. No call, no show.I am incredibly disappointed in this extremely unprofessional behavior. Based on this, my mother and I will never do business with this company, nor would we ever recommend this company to anyone else.

Wonderful experience and I highly recommend. We moved to Fort Sill in the historic homes and I was disappointed to hear neighbors tell me they couldnt do much decorating because of the hard plaster walls. I called Dinomite and despite being incredibly busy with other major contracts he made the time to come out. He installed several floating shelves, curtains rods, TV mounts and bracketed mirrors. These walls gave him HELL, but he was patient and did it perfectly (even when I gave him allowances not to). He cleaned up all the dust and debris and went the extra mile to put the curtains up and place the TV in the right position. There are no large holes that I will need to pay for when I leave. The price was very fair considering the hours needed for this job. Thank you!!!

Im only slightly exaggerating when I write that Dynomite from Lawton Handyman LLC saved my life. Because of a clerical error from the Lawton Water Department, my water meter was currently turned off without my knowledge (they told me it wasnt turned off when I came in to pay my initial deposit the day I closed my home) and the Water Department didnt have any available workers around the area for the rest of the week. Imagine mid December trying to move in to a home without any water, with the fear my pipes might freeze. I didnt have my townhouse association number to call the maintenance so i was desperately trying to turn the water meter counter clockwise with a pair of pliers myself (and failed haha). I took a chance and called Lawton Handyman LLC and when Dynomite heard my story he told me he would help me free of charge :) he came as soon as he could and turned my water meter back on for me. I recommend this business to everyone!
