When my father passed away suddenly a few months ago, my family and I were lost. I had no experience planning a service and even thinking about it made me extremely sad, emotional, angry; among other things. We reached out to the staff at Tom Wages and from our first interaction, I was totally blown away. The care, respect and service the staff provided was well above expected. They comforted my family during the most difficult time of our life. I could not be more thankful for Bryan and the entire staff at Tom Wages. The service in the chapel was absolutely beautiful and they took care of everything. They have continued to check on my family even after the service, months after. Every need or question we have has been met. I am forever grateful for them all and highly recommend Tom Wages when needed during your difficult time. God bless!

They were horribly rude and sarcastic to my family. More specifically the director Brian. We were told we only had 15 minutes to say goodbye. My aunt wouldn’t let that happen thankfully. So we were able to spend as much time as needed. Even though we were in a room with my passed on brother the director Brian day there on his phone with lack of privacy and respect to us the family. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND going here. Everything about them was terrible.

Stephanie was kind, with a great phone personality. Bryan, was rude, snappy, creepy, and unsympathetic. Originally, he gave us 15 minutes to say goodbye to our passed immediate family member. No one can say goodbye in 15 minutes! Bryan sat in the back of the room and watched us like a hawk as we said goodbye to our loved one. When asked a question, Bryan was impolite with his answers. It was obvious that he was having a bad day and taking his frustrations out on us! There were no other viewings or funerals while we were there, so it wasnt like he was falling behind in his work. There is a lot more to this story, but I dont have the time to explain all the details. Bottom line, when I go to a viewing to say goodbye, I expect sympathy and kindness for the family, not more heartache! Based on the attitude that I witnessed numerous times, in the short period of time we were there, Bryan should NOT be interacting with the public.

I went to my brothers viewing at Tom wages funeral home in Lawrenceville Georgia the other day and there wasn’t even someone at the door to show me where to go. Then I was told we had 15 minutes to say goodbye. How can you say goodbye to your brother in 15 minutes? I assume it was the director, Brian, was quite stern with no sympathy in mind. There were a few other things that really disappointed me, but I’m not here to write a book. A funeral home is supposed to be kind, thoughtful, and sympathetic. My entire family didn’t get any of this. We are also very disappointed. This is certainly not a place I will visit again under any circumstances.

My Daughter passed away recently and we decided on TomM.wages Funeral services.They were extremely helpful in a time where we didn’t really know what to do, they navigated us through the process and answered all our questions and concerns with compassion and understanding that helped us make the right choices.I would definitely recommend Tom M.Wages Funeral service to anyone.

Our Mom passed away 3/29/2020 in Northern Virginia. Her wishes were to be buried with her parents and brother in Georgia. Tom Wages funeral home helped me with the entire process of getting mom home to Georgia in the midst of a pandemic. They are kind, professional, knowledgeable and made a horribly sad and stressful time bearable for my brother and I. It’s 3 months today since she left us and they have kept in contact with us making sure that we have all of the resources out there in processing our grief. Everyone was very thoughtful and helpful during a difficult time. They took the time to call and text me weeks later to check on the family to see how we were.

Could not have been handled any better. Thankfully we had made and prepaid all our plans with WagesBut Tommie went way above what we had arranged. Our plan was for direct cremation so my Wifes body went straight from OR to morgue to Wages. I had a Granddaughter who insisted on seeing her Mammie one more time. I explained that because of our arrangement, her Mammie wasnt prepared for viewing. She would not accept that so Tommie and his people cleaned up my Wife so that she could be viewed.I purchased cremation heart necklaces for all the Daughters and Grand daughters from an out side company, not Wages, Tommie immediately volunteered to fill them for us at no charge.From start to finish the entire Wages crew could not been more helpful and caring.I highly recommend Tommie Wages for all final plans.

Tom Wages has taken care of our family several time but my wifes service was above and beyond. the video and on line service for the people that couldnt make it to the service was great. not only were they there for me in my time if need 5 months later theyre still keeping in contact with me to mack sure me and my children are okay. topnotch service
