For a family of 5, one day without a dryer is too long...We were in desperate need to get the dryer running ASAP (or buy a new one). Not wanting to buy a new dryer as the first option we searched and chose Appliance Tech Pros because of the great reviews.It was evening when I called and left a message. Got a call back the next day and the tech was sent that same day! He showed up on time, mask on, very professional and ready to work. He explained the issue and also made recommendations regarding wash/dryer load size for our older units as well as cleaning the dry vent (something we haven’t thought about nor done in about 5 years). Most of all he was able to fix the dryer the same day and at a fair price!This was a great appliance repair service experience. Amazing customer service and fast and efficient repair. Working with Appliance Tech Pros was an overall neutral experience, not terrible or great. A technician was called to our condo to replace a garbage disposal, which he completed perfectly. The technician was also very professional, and gave a 15% discount, which we appreciated.My main issue with this company was communication, which is very important. We were initially scheduled for a Monday with an arrival window of 1100-1300, and then rescheduled the following day with an arrival window of 0900-1100. The day the disposal was replaced, there was zero communication from Appliance Tech Pros, and they showed up after the arrival window closed. I called them at 1030 and was notified a technician was en route with an ETA of 15-20 min. The technician showed up just after the ETA and after 1100, and offered no explanation for his late arrival.Why reschedule to an earlier slot if the technician isnt going to show up during that slot to begin with?Besides the communication issue, they were great and professional.

Appliance Tech Pros were very professional and responsive came out the very next day we called. We have used them twice for our whirlpool refrigerator ice dispenser repair and cooktop. The ice dispenser was stuck and not dispensing ice.. they came early and replaced the main ice bucket for a fair and reasonable price.. We called them a second time for our main whirlpool range that had a large scratch on the surface. Again they were able to come out in a timely manner and take care of the problem, replaced the top panel with ease. Amazing experience, would definitely hire them again for any future repairs, and recommend them to all my friends and family!

The guys at Appliance Tech Pros were very professional and prompt. I was have problems with the ice maker door of my refrigerator and it was in need of replacing, so I order a new door but to my surprise it was only the shell of the door. Everything from the old door had to come off of it and be transferred to the new door. They explained to me that what they had quoted me for over the phone was to just install a new door and that it would cost extra, but not to worry they would work with me on pricing and they did. They worked very proficiently as they were mindful of the fact that I did have food in both the refrigerator and freezer, to get everything put back together as quickly as possible with out compromising the quality of work. These gentlemen treated my home with care and were very clean. This is why I gave them a 5- Star rating.

After contacting some 8-10 Appliance repair organizations forhelp with our refrigerator (and without a good response from any of them), I finally contacted Appliance Tech Pros and was able to arrange a visit within a short period of time. The Tech came to our home and after a brief review of the Refrigerator he determined that the compressor was at fault. My wife and I reviewed our options and decided to go ahead witha new compressor which the Tech installed in what seemed to be a minimum amount of time. I made an appointment for service on my freezer. Tech came as agreed and tried to locate the part needed, but needed some time to research as the freezer is an old model. He was not able to locate the part and informed me of that situation. Technician did a n excellent job and I fully understand the condition of the part needed. We had the best experience with Appliance Tech Pros. Our 15 year old Fridge started growling at us but we ignored it until it was too late. Our fridge suddenly died and everything began melting - but thanks to them our fridge is back up and running like new again. Okay, the most important part of my experience other than having a working fridge :: They were super responsive and came out with everything they needed in just a few hours. Also, they are so friendly and CLEAN. The Technician wore a mask and shoe coverings, which is so considerate because I have two small babies crawling right now. He also cleaned our fridge for us which was disgusting, I feel really bad about that part. Our refrigerator had stopped working we called them and they came right out. In under 10 mins they knew what the issue was and told us they had to order the part to get the fridge running again. They were very informative on the part and how long it would take for the part to come in.. once the part arrived they called us back and informed us they had just received it and wanted to know if they could come out, it was 7:30 in the evening, of course we said yes.. this is the best service Ive recieved from anyone coming out to my house to repair anything.. They do a lousy job, he came to my house and explained the problem to him and said ok, I know what it has and supposedly he fix it and the next day the fridge wasnt working again. I called him and he said oh now its something else it has. and we had to pay him again for something else it supposedly had. In other words, he wanted to charge me 2 times for the work he had to do from the first time. They dont know how to work and I called the company and they didnt call me back. Charged not $50, but $99 dollars to press a few buttons to just reset the refrigerator. Its working currently but they probably have a 200% to 400% up charge for their jobs, and dared to ask me to make a decision on whether to replace the whole part(which would cost another $300-400 bucks because they said “since it might stop working again after the reset” ????? IF IT WORKS AFTER THE RESET THEN IT’S NOT BROKEN, WHY A NEW PART??? We knew very well that this isn’t an old refrigerator. Those people would treat you like a cattle to be butchered if you don’t watch out for yourself and listen to whatever they recommend, at least this is my personal experience.

I had quick, professional, quality work provided and all things explained to me when i had issues with my dryer and dishwasher. I did have problems after but again, the team was responsive to my needs and did not leave me hanging.

Came twice and never found the real problem. Paid twice over $500 for items that didn’t need repair. Fridge still leaked. We called a Plummer. Water running into basement bedroom through ceiling. Damaged flooring and ceiling now. Plummer came - not an appliance repair person mind you - and discovered pin hole in water line under fridge right away.....right away. Emailed AppliancePro. Said he would call, 2 days ago. No call. Paid Plummer $250 more to repair line with part easily obtained at Home Depot. I wasted $500 on Appliance Tech Pros. Don’t you make the same mistake.

The gas stove in my home worked flawlessly until recently it would not create the heat setting on the thermostat. My appliance tech repairman noted that my particular gas oven was a dinosaur. I thought that probably meant that repairs were out of the question. After a series of key questions and close inspection of my unit the heating issue was resolved. My dinosaur was fully operational again! Excellent service.

We used Josh to fix our Maytag dryer. He came out, replaced a part, instructed us to clean the dryer vent and left. We attempted to clean the dryer vent ourselves and that didn’t work out so well and the dryer stopped working again. After having a professional clean the vent, we tried numerous times to get Josh back out to repair it again. Josh never responded. The next company that came out, replaced two parts and got us back working again. If you don’t want the business, then at least respond.

He was right on time, and gave me a courtesy call when he was about 10 minutes away. He discovered that it was a plumbing problem and not the dishwasher. He was friendly and professional, and his service fee was extremely reasonable. He has been in the appliance repair business for 16 years. Appliance Tech is a small family-owned business.
