Julio and Greg were our tradesman and they both took great pride in their company and their trade. They were both great tradesmen who knew their work and did it with professionalism. In addition, Duncos President, Wayne, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us set up the appropriate system for our custom home. This company was a pleasure to work with and would recommend to any and all.

We have used Dunco since we moved in to this house. In fact the previous owner also used them. Last week, our 20+ year old AC finally stopped working. Joe and Tyler did a very good job getting us a new HVAC system. Both of them were very patient answering our questions. Joe explained the options to us and gave us a reasonable price. Tyler showed up on time in the morning, finished the job at around 3pm. He showed me the new system and gave me some maintenance tips. He also carefully cleaned the area before he left. The whole process was super smooth. The entire team is very professional and highly skilled. Will definitely use them again!

One of the best companies I have worked with!Our AC went out during the hottest days of the summer. We had a maintenence agreement with another company, but it was going to be a week before they could do the installation. I called Dunco and their salesman was at our house 15 minutes later to assess the situation and give us a quote. They were able to schedule our installation in 2 days, and they actually ended up fitting us in the next day. I was told they could do that because they run more installation crews, and because of the kindness of their other customers, (agreeing to let us go first because we had no air conditioning.)Our installation crew, Clayton and Evan, were amazing. They were very professional and fast. They didnt mess around, they just came in and got the job done. We wouldnt hesitate to work with them again, and we know who well call if/when our furnace needs to be replaced.

Seven years ago we had to replace our entire unit. Steve came out and did such an excellent job we havent had to worry about it. A few days ago our unit stopped working and I knew just who to call. Our AC went out just before a Kansas heatwave. We were lucky to be able to schedule an appointment in a few days to replace our 20+ year old unit. Steve was much appreciated 4 hrs earlier than originally estimated from the day I made appt. He was very thorough and inspected HVAC system and fixed our air conditioning. He is very honest, fair and has excellent customer service. I will definitely be calling Dunco for all our cooling and heating needs. Our AC stopped working on a Saturday, and a friend of a friend recommended Dunco! I couldn’t believe the quick response! Cody came and declared the system dead, and Joe was at our house a couple of hours later with an estimate for a new AC. Monday afternoon 2 great guys showed up (names forgotten due to overheated brain)and installed our new system in 2.5 hours!!! They were wonderful! Explained everything. So happy with the service! Thank you to the 4 guys who got us going again!

From the first call for an estimate, staff were polite, knowledgeable and returned phone calls. The price was reasonable, got us scheduled in less than a week, arrived a few minutes early, completed the job with minimal interruption, explained new features and left the site clean. The real test will be with the 100 degree days coming up, but all signs point to a great unit and job well done.

After a few years with other providers in town, were really happy to have switched up to Dunco--they helped us identify some pretty basic ongoing issues that had been making our AC run poorly, and bringing back HVAC crews year after year. Were hopeful that now maybe our units will be able to operate more efficiently and cost effectively for a longer run, and we appreciated that they were able to fit us into their schedule a littler earlier than originally promised, even in the midst of a heat wave. Our technician was extremely helpful and efficient. 10/10, would recommend!

Steve has been servicing our AC and heating units for the past five years. He is a genuine guy who does a good job of servicing our units. This is critical for us because both our units are more than 15 years old and timely repairs are needed to keep the units running smoothly. We have never had problems with our units during the cooling or heating seasons because the repairs are taken care of ahead of the season. Good job Steve!

My air conditioner broke in the middle of the night during a very hot Friday evening, I was able to call them in the morning and get them to come out and see what the problem was that same day. I just moved to Lawrence, and wouldn’t you know it, right before the hottest week of the year my AC unit died. Dunco was incredibly responsive, helpful, and compassionate. Even though they’re incredibly busy, they had a technician out within the day to help me sort out my problem, find the new system to fit my needs and budget without trying to upsell me, and schedule the soonest installation they could. Even though they had to initially schedule me five days out, they called me a little later in the day and said they moved some things around and could get to me the next day. The install team, Tyler and Quinn were very friendly, communicative, patient with my two big dogs, and meticulous in installing and explaining my new system to me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in a stressful situation.

We had an AC issue and my daughter recommended Dunco given her great experience having her AC unit replaced. I contacted them and they were amazing. One of our two AC units and both furnaces were 26 years old. Our AC was leaking Freon and Tyler B. and Paul N. told me they could fix it but it would have to be repaired every year. I asked them to quote an 80% and 95% efficient AC unit and two furnaces. I decided to upgrade to the 95% efficient units and also had them replace my humidifier. They completed the installation within four days of the signed agreement. One of the installers called to ask if he could use my microwave to heat his lunch. Of course I told him yes but was pleased by his courtesy. This further demonstrates Dunco’s high level of professionalism. If you have any HVAC need, I strongly recommend you contact Dunco. They are professional, prompt, honest and offer fair pricing.

Our Air conditioning unit stopped working on wednesday called Dunco because my wife read good reviews about the company!Phil came out with a couple of guys who were very professional and enjoyable people to be around. Initially said my unit would not be replaced until next week. This Friday morning they called and said they would come out in the afternoon. About 3pm thought they would not show but they came and worked in our thunderstorm. Amazing guys would recommend them fo sure. The unit looked clean and when they replaced the coils the compartment looked amazing with no tape

So I got a bid from everyone on replacing my HVAC. And I mean EVERYONE. they are all nice, and knowledgeable and worthy of hiring but the gentleman from Dunco just new sooo much. And because I’d been through 6 bids before, I actually understood what he was telling me and it all made sense. And he came in…not the cheapest, but certainly the most thoughtful and complete. And he listened to what I wanted. Yes. Today they pulled out the old units and put in the new. It looks sooo good. They’re going to do the maintenance too.

Repairman showed up in a timely manner to Fox our furnace which was making a squealing noise. Less than ten minutes later it was fixed. Turns out it was just a schematic sticker that had come loose and got caught in the blower. The tech didn’t even charge us!Dunco may not have made money off us today, but theyearned a customer for life!

We’ve been using Dunco’s preventative maintenance service for several years, so when it came time to replace everything, it was a no brainer—we went with Dunco. Joe came out and looked at our old tired system and made his recommendations. He even ventured up into the attic in July! to look at the duct work. He was super to work with. We were confident with our decision.Clayton and Quinn were on time and walked us through the installation process. They said it would take 5 hours and it took almost exactly 5 hours. When they finished, they gave us a run down of the new system and thermostat. We were really impressed with how efficient and professional both of these young men were.Included with the new system is one year of preventive maintenance service. AND they sent us gourmet chocolates from a shop in Emporia! Who does that?We’d give them 10 stars if possible. Thanks Dunco!

Our heater broke down on the coldest day of the year and our landlord “fixed it” but it stopped working the next day. I read some recommendations about Dunco and decided to pay out of pocket to have the repairs done myself. I called at 9:16 am and he was here at noon. Long story short, my heater is cooking right now. The repairman was super courteous and had amazing communication skills, and I could just tell he was a genuinely good person, he had that aura. Eric and Alexa were on the job together to perform routine AC maintenance per Service Agreement. They discovered a minor repair that should be taken care of. Eric explained that the longer the problem is not fixed the harder the AC has to work. Eric did not pressure me to get it repaired. They replaced the part on the spot. Very professional.

Had a great experience with everyone at Dunco, from the answering service and front desk staff to our HVAC techs. When we called over the weekend they responded right away and were very upfront with the extra charge for weekend service, so we chose to wait until Monday. They called us back first thing that morning, so we didn’t have to take the initiative to call back, and they got someone over within the hour. Jason was our first tech, and he looked at our heating/AC unit and diagnosed the problem. Given the expense of the repair and age of our unit, we opted to invest in replacing instead and they were able to set us up with an installation the very next morning. Tyler and Paul came over in the morning around 8:30 and were done inside of 3 hours, and everyone who entered our home was kind and professional, and they all observed proper distancing and masking. Very appreciative of everyone who helped us get our heating back in time for the cold snap this weekend!

I’ve had nothing but good service from these folks, and contract with them for HVAC maintenance. Today, Evan came for a dryer vent issue, and was relentless and positive in sleuthing out the issue, then repairing broken vent inside a wall, along with another technician who came for support.
