We had a furnace and AC installed by another small company in Lawrence. Had some issues and wanted a second opinion. Cloud sent someone out within hours of us calling. The Tech that came out was respectful, prompt, and knowledgeable. Not only did he explain what he saw wrong but he documented it and took photos. The next day we received a call from a Supervisor alerting us that our unit was not safe to operate and he explained in detail why so. That call to Cloud saved my family. Literally. We greatly appreciate what Cloud has done thus far and will recommend them to anyone!

They installed a 2 outdoor, 6 indoor mini split heating/AC system in our house. After install they returned to verify the system was working as expected, and made the necessary modifications to ensure the system was working at optimal performance. Zach and Emilio were friendly and very helpful, as were the original installers whom I didnt catch all of their names except for Vince. I am looking forward to seeing how well this system works for us and how the cost compares to our previous central air system. I recommend Cloud Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone looking for that type of service.

Had Zach come out and take a look at our unit that had previously been looked at by a bigger company that had said everything was working fine. (I won’t name names) But Zach found the problem was our unit needed some cleaning and fix everything with no problems! He was awesome and even though it was after hours on a Saturday they were still reasonably priced.We will definitely only be going with Cloud from here on out!

These guys have serviced us for years. Great service, friendly and quick. They replaced our entire system. When one employee incorrectly serviced us more than once he was quickly fired. Our technician Zach came out and troubleshot our AC unit that wasn’t functioning. He was quick, efficient, polite, and incredibly good at his job! He got our AC unit up and running again and saved us from a hot summer day.

Had them come out for preventative maintenance on my a/c. My technician, Zach, arrived when scheduled and was very efficient and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with the info he gave me. I called for an appointment for maintenance and was able to get sane day service! Not only was a technician out the same day, but he was also early! While he was here he found that a snake and birds had gotten into our unit and also that a rodent had chewed up some wires. Zach was able to quickly repair the wires, remove the rodents, and our system worked great again! Would definitely recommend Zach from Cloud!

We called Cloud this afternoon due to our A/C not working properly. Shortly after our initial call, we received a call saying they could work us in today. Zach came out and diagnosed an electrical issue with my AC low voltage control wiring. I called in on a Sunday evening, not expecting to have the work done the same day, but the answering service paged Zach and he was at my house within 20 minutes. Cloud does a great job maintaining our geothermal system. Zach and Brandon did a great job during our semi-annual system check. I appreciate their concern for your home’s cleanliness and your safety - masks, shoe covers, etc.

Brandon and Zack are a very professional team for Cloud. They show up masked and with clean slip on plastic booties over their shoes. Brandon has worked with us before and knows our dual heating and cooling system very well. We use them for regularly scheduled maintenance and any improvements we add to our system like humidifiers and auto-off water detection sensors. I would not recommend Cloud, they are not the company they used to be. I hired them to do a furnace and actually ck before selling home and they missed a cracked heat exchanger. When asked to make it right, they offered me 200 off one of their most expensive units, less than what they charged for the bogus check. Think twice before using them!

Semi-annual check-up. Cloud staff are always on-time, courteous, explaining everything they do. In this time of COVID they take all safety precautions. We have worked with Cloud for 15+ years. They are a terrific company who always has the customers interest in mid. This particular maintenance check for the furnace was typical in terms of good service, one recommendation for continued system health. Overall a five star company!

I invited 3 companies to give proposals for a completely new HVAC system. We are very happy we went with Cloud. They had reasonable prices, Dennis (who came to bid the job) gave me all of my options and made suggestions, but was not pushy. All the installers treated my home with respect, went through everything step by step, and answered all of my questions. From the day I accepted the proposal to the time they installed was less the 24 hours. I highly recommend them and will be using them for all our future HVAC services.

Our whole-house AC went out on a Sunday during the hottest part of the year and Cloud sent a technician out early the next day to fix it. Brandon just completed service on our aging AC unit as part of our annual maintenance agreement. he showed up on time, put booties on to walk through the house, thoroughly inspected the AC unit, cleaned the filters and inspected the outside unit. Brandon noted that we were a little low on refrigerant and had a faulty capacitor. He provided us a couple of different solutions and pricing points which helped us make our decision. Brandon was able to replace the capacitor and install new refrigerant. He was very knowledgable, professional and friendly.

We had a great experience with Cloud when our AC evaporator coil was leaking water in the basement. Another company (a national chain) came over before Cloud and couldnt figure out the problem. However, Bryan and his trainee Alexis explained everything very clearly, got us topped off with Freon (which stopped the condensation problem, as he said it would), and helped us figure out the direction to go with when to replace our unit. He made a call to get us set up for a replacement quote, and Dennis came by the next morning, had a really enjoyable conversation, and then gave us a lot of good recommendations for the direction to go with a replacement unit. Highly recommended!!!!

My AC went out while I was at work. Got home and called cloud. Bryan and Alexis were here first thing the next day. They were super nice and completed fixing it within an hour. Annual furnace check up getting ready for cold weather. As always, Cloud tech shows up on time, is helpful and does a good job. My only complaint is that they dont wear plastic shoe covers when they come in the house. We have a number of service providers that do this automatically. Its a nice touch and one that Cloud should consider.

Alexis and Brandon arrived in the earliest part of the service window, and as a team quickly fixed the messy wiring between my thermostat and furnace, and installed a new thermostat. They also went over the basic operations with me, and answered the questions I had. Everything was done in way less than an hour. I will most likely be calling back Cloud for service in the future.

I have had a planned maintenance agreement with Cloud Heating & Air Conditioning for over 10 years. Under this agreement, in the fall, a technician checks & tunes up the furnace; & in the spring, a technician checks & tunes up the cooling system. The technicians have always been courteous & professional, have always thoroughly explained their findings, & have always fully answered any questions that I have had. In addition, the office staff are wonderful about reminding you when it is time to schedule your fall/spring visit; furthermore, on the day of your appointment, they are great about giving you a heads-up when the technician is headed your way. My A/C was not blowing cool air. I called Cloud and was able to get a technician out the same day—did not expect that! Joe explained the issue with the A/C and was happy to answer all of my questions. Because of his professionalism, Cloud has a new customer out of me.

We are new homeowners in Lawrence. It was easy to set up a new service agreement with Cloud. We were able to set up our first appointment in less than 1 week from our first call. Bryan showed up promptly at 8am and explained the options for 1 time service versus service plans. When he finished today’s maintenance he explained what was done and the condition and age of the AC system. Bryan also explained what to expect in the fall for the appointment for the heating system.

The temp was expected to drop below zero this evening. The central heat was not working and was concerned about freezing pipes. I called the answering service at 7:23pm and received a return call within 15 minutes from Joe, their on call service technician. Joe came out immediately, diagnosed the issue and repaired. I am extremely thankful to have Cloud as our heating and air provider. We have purchased 2 units from them and have been extremely happy with the quality and service! We have used Cloud exclusively for over thirty years for both installation and repairs. They have always provided excellent service. Recently we had issues with our Aprilaire humidifier, and Brandon was able to diagnose and fix the problem.

We started a business maintenance package with Cloud for the Cat Clinic of Lawrence over a year ago. They come out twice a year (winter and summer) to inspect everything, change filters, etc. Comes in very handy that they call us to set up maintenance - so we dont have to remember. They also are very quick to come out when there are any issues! Our go to HVAC Tech is Joe - he knows the clinic well, professional, and does a great job! Thank you guys for everything!

Had an easy experience with Cloud for a Spring Tune-up. Bryan, my service tech, was friendly and knowledgeable. He offered solutions for foreseeable problems. He made sure everything was up to speed for the Summer and helped replace my air filter. Great job!

System was not cooling to the thermostat setting. I identified my problem as being low on Freon. Called this place up and the lady was very nice. Had a Tech out to me the next morning. Tech verified what I said as being low. Was charged $69 for diagnosis, $150 for 2lbs Freon, and another $51 for cleaning. I told the guy I had just cleaned it the day before but he insisted it needed to be cleaned with heat(propane torch ran real quick over the condenser coils). The tech did not know the price of the cleaning at the time, but he insisted it would have to be done in order to be accurate. There is NOWAY I would ever be able to charge that much to do something SO easy. All an all $262 and the problem has come back. Tech should have verified there was a leak is the system also. Not satisfied at all with the way business is done. Would not recommend.
