This is a case of What I asked for Vs. what I got.Unfortunately, the ambiance, service, and quality DO NOT match the price! They charged me $80 for this gel full set alone. I spent $180 total; $20 short of $200 and did not leave a satisfied customer. I have no problem paying the higher end for a great service/quality, but thats not what I received.When asked to re-do my nails to my liking to feel comfortable paying set price, I was constantly reminded they couldnt do it exactly, that the price is set, and she wasnt really good with designs. Not willing to fix the mistakes or accommodate in changing the price to match their service.When I asked for a manager I was ignored. Which led me to let others know, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!A classic pedicure is $50. No hot towel. No scrub. The massage chairs are older and some remotes are broken and hanging off the chair.Trash on counters. Floors. Do NOT wipe down chairs after customers. Not properly sanitized and cleaned for COVID-19.Will not be returning. The only reason I came was to use a 10% coupon for my birthday. These obviously will not be my birthday nails

Love Angie in particular, but have had a few people do fingers and toes. Very satisfied. Pricier than some places but you get the quality you pay for! Would recommend to anyone 👌🏽

I’ve been going to this place for years. Quality was slowly but surely declining. Cleanliness is also questionable. The last few times my services had been less then acceptable but o was stuck on how they once was. My nail tech has become careless and rude. I spoke up and she use a few negative comments to her coworkers according to google translate app. That was my last visit there spending my money!!

Save yourself the trouble and do not go here! I waited over 40 mins for them to tell me that they cannot do the Design I would like! It was a pretty simple design too. The first time I went here my nails chip and she did a horrible job I decided to try them back for a second time and waste of my time. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY AWAY!!! There are much better nails salons in laurel then this one

I have never written a review before HOWEVER I had to write one on this salon. I have been coming to this salon religiously, for dip manicure for almost 3 years. First with Lily (who was amazing!!!) and then Kathy (since Lily’s not there anymore). I have never really had issues with dip manicures, they usually last me 3.5 - 4 weeks. This time I came in on Mother’s Day for the usual dip set BUT within 3 days, ALL my nails started looking marked up. I called the salon, “Kathy’s not in, you can come in and we’ll fix.” I was charged for the fix which I asked the manager, “why am I being charged, if you all agree the powder is Old?” Regardless I paid and left. 3 days from the fix a nail broke, and additional nails started chipping (even the recent “FIX”)!!!. I called the store back and spoke to the “manager”. I mentioned I’ve never had issues with my nails. They reply again “It must be the powder, come in we’ll fix, Kathy is here.” I told Kathy, she apologized, said it was the powder and removed the set all together. AGAIN Kathy CHARGED me for a FULL service!!. I asked “Why again am I AGAIN being charged for bootleg service??! If your product is old, or customers or having issues with it, there should be a discount, and the product should be REMOVED from the shelf. Furthermore this was a COMPLETE inconvenience for having to come on THREE times!! These women had 3 different people arguing back and forth with me for a simple fee. No one should have to return back to a salon 3 times in LESS than 2 weeks and be charged each time for YOUR mistake. The store sends a receipt each time you get a service done. You saw that I was charged 3 times within 2 weeks but you were so fixated on the charging me AGAIN, you didn’t even bother to hear me out or understand this transaction was very wrong. I have no problem ever paying a fee and/or tipping my manicurist generously. But I WILL NOT be back. Take ownership if a product is not working and accommodate your loyal customers. There’s SO many salons out there, but not many loyal customers.

I dont normally frequent this area of Beltsville but saw T N Nails & Spa and stopped in for a pedicure, gel manicure, and my daughter had her nails/toes painted. Great experience from the time we walked in the door until services was completed. Holly was EXCELLENT! I will be going back.

The girl who did my pedicure did not take my cuticles off. My mom asked for the deluxe pedicure and they did way worse than the normal pedicure. My friend showed a picture of a simple nail art and that lady did a different nail art! The worse salon ever!

My experience was good far as the people and there energy however the lady who actually did my nails was very ruff and my nails didn’t last but a week and I paid extra for gel nails also my toe messed up after one day and it was gel also overall I feel it was a waist of money!!!!!!!!

I went here to get my ingrown nail to remove and before entrance I was really nervous but upon entrance I felt very relaxed. The salon has a very nice atmosphere. As my pedicure was getting started I asked the very nice professional lady if she could remove the nail and it was free of charge. The whole experience was very nerve racking however it wasn’t to much painful and after removal I felt cleansed but it was quite bloody for a few minutes.

THIEVES! I came in for a gel pedicure and polish removal and they wanted to charge me $75! She said I got a manicure— there is NOTHING on my nails, I asked for a removal. I ended up paying $60 which is still absurd for the services provided. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

I really needed my nails done and a few repaired. I had experienced great service before from the young woman who did my nails but this time I was treated contemptuously. I want to be careful because I know the Adian community has been feeling targeted and vilified by certain high profile events but I have noticed a trend where male Asian service industry professionals are consescebfibg to African American women. I tip very well and in advance. The service started off well with a problem nail being expertly fixed thpugh it had broken into the skin. As the time went on however the technician seemed impatient and his workmanship got shoddy even after I gave him the $20 tip before he finished polishing my nails. The gel bardening machine was not big enough to accommodate my nails so the thumbs and index fingers did not set well. He ever came around to see the dilemma but told me to tuck my nails in. Less than 8 days later the polish is peeling and I am furious. He may have had a bad day but this was not acceptable. I need someplace else to go where respect and professionalism are adhered to.

This was my first time visiting this nail salon. I was greeted with a smile and the nail tech assigned to me was ready and available once I signed in. Great pedicure, really relaxing 😌 There was a communication or language barrier when I was describing how I wanted my nails and asking for advice however all was resolved and finally understood in the end. End result of nails was great. I was pleased with my services ( pedicure and nails with powder dip &gel polish). Pricing was reasonable, I will be making a second visit and perhaps requesting the same nail tech, Harold.

There are so many things about this salon to love. The location isnt special, but the stations and interior in general feel new, modern and fresh. My sister, mother, brother and I arrived for an 11 am appointment on a Saturday. We were greeted happily, directed to the well stocked waiting area and waited a really short time before technicians came over to collect us for our services. The owners are welcoming and accommodating. The staff is engaging- I never got that great, theyre talking about me feeling. They really focus on the customer. You dont have to sit there and listen to inane chatter like an awkward third wheel.Theyre professional. I had a manicure and hot stone pedicure. The pedicure was carefully done. The hot stone massage was to die for. The manicure was beautifully done, despite chipping a few days later. Overall, I definitely plan on going back.

I am VERY particular when it comes to my nails and I am so PLEASED! Bee did an amazing SNS set with tips ! She was quick ( under an hour ), precise with cutting and filing, and receptive to feedback. I could tell she was passionate about her craft - super talented! This place is 5 mins from my house and I had never given it a shot based on reviews . I’m glad I did!

This is the third time I’ve been to the nail and spa and every time has been great...Susan did my nails, lashes and wax and she is the best. I was going to this other nail spot(just for nails) for maybe 10 years and lucked up on this place because I wanted to try out getting my lashes done so I let her do my nails once and fell in LOVE. This place is clean, quiet and upscale...SO HAPPY I CAME ACROSS IT!. Susan is now my lady for EVERYTHING!

I used to go to the place for years. I tried to come back in good faith, but Im done. First of all, Henry took 2 hours to do my gel manicure and pedicure. With all of the time spent, its only a week later, and one nail peeled off and several others are chipped. Also, as I said, I have gone here for YEARS. The owner knows me, but before my manicure was even done, she comes to the table, hovers over me, and forces me to pay. I was highly insulted. As I struggled to get my debit card from my purse with one hand in the water bowl, she aggressively was like Ill help you. Sorry, not sorry, but Im never going back. Theyre not the cleanest either. Henry didnt use gloves doing my feet and his nails looked gross. Please treat your patrons with more respect than to force them to pay mid-manicure.

I have been going to vanny faithfully for over a year. I have no complaints about her service at all. Granted they have had a few horrible receptionist who are rude and mess up people’s appointments. But there is a new girl named Kiara at reception and she is way better. Vanny can do it all five stars accross the board.

This place used to be great. Now they no longer care about the people only the money. I will not go back and i would not recommend.

I recommend this place to anyone who is in or near the Laurel area. They do everything from deluxe nails/pedicures to massages and waxing. Relaxed atmosphere and they are pretty friendly. They are popular, so do not be surprised if you have to wait a few minutes. May want to schedule an appointment if you fall in love with a particular tech.

OMG, Mimi is so great. I had gone there for years and will always choose Mimi. Since theres a pandemic right now, I recommend making appointments although sometimes there will still be a little waiting, but overall, its understandable

Highly upset. First time going in and last time. I went with the intentions of knowing exactly what I wanted and what i wanted to pay. I said that i did not want gel because i had a set price. I should have known when i saw the gel polish but i thought maybe it was for the faster time for dry, plus i was willing to pay for the gel polish if worst. They charged me 55$ for the set and said that it was better. Not what i wanted and defiantly not this plain square cut. Ive been places where i get so much more for my bucks. Never going back. Spoke to a co worker and she had the same experience.

I absolutely love this place, the prices are really good for individual services they also have great packages. Some places say spa but dont really have it or it sucks there spa. They take really good full body care when you walk in! this is the only place me and my wife go. The staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive. If you are on laurel looking for some pampering go here!

I used to live in the area, Laurel,and have moved recently to Silver Spring. I had an appointment in Columbia,MD and decided to stop by for a Mani-Pedi. I was seen by Henry who was very professional and caring as I have medical issues that make my legs tender. I trust the technicians here. It is the only place I have my nails done.

I wanted to treat myself so I decided to get my lashes done at this place. When I got there, the lady just assumed that I wanted to do individual lashes so they can overcharged me. Apparently, the don’t carry band lashes so I had to go buy a pair myself nearby. Got my lashes done and the lady told me it will last two to one week. My lashes didn’t really look right and the following night they came right off. I wouldn’t go to this place if you want to do band lashes

After my toenail cracked down the center I needed an acrylic overlay. As a walk-in customer, I explained what I wanted and was introduced to Ahn. He provided my services politely and professionally. It didn’t take very long and he was happy to upgrade my service when I suggested adding a manicure. It was worth driving more than an hour for the service I received. I plan to return on Sunday, regularly. (It would be nice to have more color choices that are not gel polish).

Lily is the best. I get dip powder and my nails last 4 weeks. She and her husband are friendly.

Ive never had a more rushed pedicure. Tech didnt even file the nails on two of my toes. She paid more attention to the techs on either side of my chair than she did to my pedicure. We paid for a deluxe pedicure -- my feet still feel as rough as when I went in. I will not visit this salon again.

This place is often a hit or miss for me. I have had really great technicians and Ive also had technicians who rushed through my nails in order to get to another customer. My most recent experience was pretty decent, but since I havent found a better place near home to go, Ill likely go back.

I thought this place was going to be nice even though I seen the reviews I decided to give it a try. After my experience with them I thought it was pretty nice but after 24 hours my nails lifted and even broke. I called and went up there and spoke to the lady in the front and asked for my refund back and was told they couldnt give refunds because it was policy. After asking for the manger or owner I was told they had already spoken to the manager and was still unable to get my refund. Wont be coming back

I went with my Dads Girlfriend and a great service was provided to her by a kind man named Ahn. I also recieved great service due to a lady named Amy who accidentally gave me a gel when I just asked for a basic manicure. She still did well and I appreciated her service, although she made a few mistakes, service here is not as bad as it is made out to be.

I got my nails done on a Thursday. They were very slow and they have more than enough staff to not be slow. I got Gel polish on Thursday and it began to peel off my nails on Saturday.

I was just here in the weekend and I love the people a lot!! She was very nice and very quick! She finished my nails in no time and the color was so pretty! Highly recommend

I went in for a simple manicure. I had a gel manicure previously, so that had to be removed first. The nail tech I had was nice but very inexperienced. It took him 35 minutes to get the old gel polish off. Then he preceded to take almost an hour to shape, buff my nails and trim my cuticles. It looked decent but not as good as I am accustomed to. I did not even get my polish done, because I had already been there so long and I was not sure of his abilities. I guess if you are not getting something fancy, they dont care who they stick you with. I will never return.

I got a manicure ($45) and also received a nice CUT ON THE SIDE OF MY LEFT FOOT and a small nick on my right big toe . . . BOTH BLED!!! The tech never apologized . . put some sort of antiseptic on the areas, all the while speaking to her colleagues in their native language!!! I took a photo of both feet . No tip was given . . . can you blame me!!!? And no offer of a discount or anything for my pain/suffering . . . I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!! BTW one of the male techs told me I should put a band-aide on it!

I walked in and immediately was stared in the face by one of the employees. Sat down and told the lady I would like a basic pedicure because I didn’t really need one but just wanted to new experience. She rolled her eyes and turned to her coworker sitting next to her and said something in their native tongue. She asked me if I was interested in a callous removal I said no thank you again she said something to her coworker next to her. She used the scrub brush on my heels 2 scrubs and told me to put my foot back in the water . When I asked her to do it again she really was loud speaking to her coworker this time as they both looked at my feet. Her painting work was decent but service was trash. I will not be returning.

First time coming here after reading about the review and my experience was terrible. First, I go in and I’m greeted very nicely but the lady asks me why I don’t do gel set or deep acrylic(?). When I kindly decline, I’m directed to a chair where the lady named Amy is going to take care of me introduces me to deep acrylic nails again. I kindly decline no after hearing the price and she begins to work on my nails. She quickly finishes me up in less than 35min and doesn’t hear my request to make my nails round. All here I’m just like okay, whatever she must want to go home. Then, the surprise hits me at the counter when I asked how much it was, the front desk lady quietly says $45. When I told her I didn’t get the deep acrylic, she looks at Amy and Amy says “you said yes. I deeped and you said yes.” I just gave both them a smirk cause I just knew this was going to happen. They intentionally do this from the beginning. Please be careful to those who go here the first time. They will not hear your request and act like they can’t speak English at the end. Such a terri me experience I had.

I got dip brow two weeks ago today. After ONE WEEK my nails were cracking and falling apart. I couldn’t come back until today to get them fixed, and when I came in, Vanny told me it was because it had been two weeks and my nails had grown. That isn’t the case. They had already been falling apart the week prior and I found out today that the reason why was because Nyla did my nails and she is still new and learning. So my nails falling apart has nothing to do with my nails growing. I’ve gotten dip powder plenty of times before and even after FOUR weeks my nails have never looked this bad. I was so irritated that Vanny tried to blame them looking this bad on my nail growth, that I just got up and left. I will never return!

The ladies here are simply amazing with their hands! The technician does a terrific design and shape! Im simply Blown Away with the service high quality very relaxing and friendly!

I dont know what word I should say to describe T&N except awesome. All nails services I have tried. So this time I wanted to use make up services. It was so cool. I didnt think they could do the good job like this. It looked very natural. My eyes seemed to be bigger. My face wasnt big anymore. I thought that if I didnt say, everybody wouldnt have known I made up. Good job, guys. Ill definite back more time for both nails and make up. :)

Highly unprofessional. Call a day before to schedule an appointment with Lynn got to the shop and she decided to take another customer at my appointment time. I pleaded with the receptionist to call the owner so that I could file a complaint and her response was that he does not take personal calls as if I was calling him to go on an outing. I will not recommend this place to anyone aside from the lack of professionalism the place is not kept well and they have a high turnover rate!!!! My new place is MODO Nail Bar, the owners are always present, they personally greet you up on arrival, the place is extremely clean, nail technicians are professional and their prices are comparable.

I got the color gel manicure here the other day, it was a great experience! People here were all very talented! So many different colors to choose, as well as designs! Tech was so professional and friendly as well

They only get a 2-star review because the decor is nice. I went there for a full-set and a pedicure, paid $80 total and STILL had to go home and scrub my own feet because they were so poorly done. The guy who did my nails did not understand English for the most and was not up to date on anything new going on in the nail world. He cut up my cuticles so badly they started bleeding and he ignored me when I told him he was hurting me. He polished my nails and half of them dont go to the corners and the corners of my nails and underneath my nails are full of acrylic and is jagged and messy. First and last time going to this place. The nail industry is dominated by people who dont take pride in their work and can barely understand what customers are saying. Time for a change.

EDIT: it has only been 4 days and my gel nails are peeling and look horrible. This place is a waste of money. Kevin did a horrific job.Only got a regular gel manicure. The man who did my nails clearly didn’t care to do a slightly decent job, I believe his name was Kevin. I had to continually ask him to fix the edges of my nails, first of all he didn’t even apply polish to the full nail. Then the bottom of the nails look horrible, asked him multiple times to clean up the edges and he did not. Paid $35 and didn’t even give a hand massage? The place I regularly go to La’Lua nails is great and a gel only costs $25 with great treatment included a hand massage. Too bad they were closed today bc I definitely feel like I wasted time and money at this place. Never returning .

So I went to this place about two days ago the place was nice very quiet service not so good because he kept plugging my cuticles really hard and making them bleed and I got my feet done and he did the Same thing with my toes then most of the polish wa same thing with my toes then most of the polish bottles were mostly empty then two days after the polish started to peel off by the end of the week all of the polish was gone from my nails and he did not buff my nails at all

It would be really nice to not have to explain why I dont want gel polish and/or gel manicure. I get it, they are a business and the goal is to make money. But gee whiz, give me a break and let me enjoy my poor mans regular polish.Strike 2: sometimes rude girl at front desk. First impressions are everything, period. And that girl at the front desk is going to drive business away with that funky attitude of hers. When I spend $65+ per visit, I have no issue. But when I scale back a bit and spend less, my wait always seems to be a little bit longer, and the pleasantries go out the window.Strike 3: being told I was being difficult for wanting designs. This is a nail shop, right??? I gave the tech 3 colors and my only ask was to use what I picked. She had free reign to do whatever she wanted. Her response: why are you being so difficult? Ummmm....if Im paying and tipping you, I dont think Im asking too much.If those things dont bother you, then I say go for it. But Im more of the whole package kind if girl, so I think I will take my money elsewhere.

I just came here a while ago and I had the best time Ever!!the people here was so sweet and very attentive ! The lady did my nails was literally the best person in the whole world! I adore her!

So I go in and ask for a deluxe pedicure that’s $35. #1, she had to take the cap off the jet (while my feet are in the water) and it had cotton stuck all in it so she took the cover from the station next to me. Then she’s using scrubs from a big jar that 2 stations have to share. That’s dirty. She’s sticking her hand that’s been all over my feet and foot water into a tub to get scrub to rub all over my legs and feet which means other workers are doing the same. Ew. Then she bring bags with paraffin over and that is the next step up and is $45. I tell her no deluxe and she is insistent on the paraffin coming with what I asked for. I’m not even gonna go into the whole dilemma with her basically burning me with the hot steamed towels that she couldn’t even hold because of how hot they are but get thrown on my legs and feet. And one of the girls went to refill the steamer and a bunch of wet towels fall on the dirty floor and she just throws them back in. So she asks if I want my eyebrows done so I say yes. They have rooms with beds. She takes me to the back area where they have some janky station set up and 2 chairs for waxing. The shelves are disgusting and caked with dirt and she has me tilt my head at an awkward angle to wax and doesn’t tweeze or shape them up. So then I go up to the front desk to ask if they do that and the lady comes up and takes me back and just clips them real quick. Still not right. She says $55...MF what’s $55? I asked for a $35 pedi and $10 eyebrows. If you want it done right, got to V Nails in Beltsville just a few miles down the road. I just wanted to try something new, but failed. V Nails is clean and the techs are so nice and speak very well in English. Billy and the owner, Thai are amazing. If you aren’t satisfied, Thai will personally make sure it is to your liking.
