THE young man did a fantastic job doing my nails and doing my daughters feet. He just needs to move a little faster. Other than that, he is really very good.

Ok sooo absolutely not! Won’t be returning.. No! I made an appointment for 5pm, I wasn’t called to a chair until 5:30 and this lady, Karen! Literally tried to rip my nails off. No! Absolutely not, that is not the proper way to remove nails. Quicker yes, Easier yes, but not the proper way and you will do more damage than anything. How about using hot water, acetone, a filer.... nope! None of those. This lady literally tried to dig her tools under my nails and peel them up! So she finally gets to doing my nails and when they were done... the color was spotty, the cuticles look like she missed a spot... it does flow well at all! Sigh... so yeah, this place wasn’t for me and I won’t be coming back.

I love coming here to get my nails done by Jason! He does such an amazing job and always has my nails looking perfect! They’re so welcoming and on time. Never a disappointment coming here. Will always come here to get great service.

My fiance and I went here for a manicure and pedicure. I got my nails done for my bridal shower and they listened to exactly what i wanted. I was very happy with the results. I showed them the picture and they matched my nails perfectly to my dress. Thanks! Will be back before my wedding.

Got my nails done for my birthday and Jojo did amazing job. I showed her a picture and she gave me a suggestion to add the single gem and to do coffin shape. The design was an extra $10 but it was worth it. In total I spent around $60 but of course I tipped on top, she took her time and worked hard.

After a year of performing my own manicures, pedicures and paraffin treatment at home (making a mess every time), I decided to treat myself to a professional session all the while testing the environment. I was very pleased with my experience. Upon entering I found a socially distanced, clean environment with a superb staff. Cherry took the time to listen and understand what I was seeking and as a result, I was able to simply relax during my time there. I truly relaxed and decompressed from my day. I received the mango pedicure (with paraffin) and a very simple gel nail set. I will definitely be returning. I have found my nail salon. Thank you for a great experience!

I had high hopes coming to this place considering the ratings. Unfortunately the nail tech who did my nails rushed my nails and did not attempt to match a Pinterest nail art design that was black and white abstract lines. She did not even attempt to match the fingers to the other hand. The lines were sloppy and not identical. I cant believe I wasted $65 here for sloppy and rushed nails. It amazes me how she looked at the picture and stated we can do this but my nails were of low quality. She didnt even go back and fix a few visible mistakes where some of the white nail polish had black on it. Absolute waste of my money. I wont be coming back here and if your someone who likes designed nails Id consider going somewhere else.

I felt safe and my nails look great! Only issue is poor communication due to minimal English proficiency. They test your temperature and have you fill out a form and have lots of covid safety precautions.

It was a bit busy (bustling, actually) when I arrived, which kind of stole from the quiet ambience I was seeking. BUT, I didn’t have to wait too long, and my nail technician, Jojo, was on point!

After a few months of not getting my nails done I was so happy when they finally opened up. I was relieved to find out that they are super cautious because of the pandemic. All the tables and pedicure chairs are cleaned after every client. They all wear masks and gloves. There are plexi-glass mounted on each table and hung above the pedicure area. They take everyone’s temperature and are always keeping at a distance. Thank you for taking everyone’s safety and health into consideration. Will definitely come again!

Love this place! Jason does my nails. He is awesome. Followed him from another nail salon. Totally satisfied. The establishment is clean, warm and welcoming. Karen and Nina are also great nail techs. If you are looking for a nice clean place to get good quality service, look no further this is the place.

Karen is by far the Nicest woman. She did what I asked. The only issue is she charges for Every little detail. She even charged me $20 more for gel polish for my pedicure. That is why I gave the 3 star.

I have been going to Laurel Nail Spa for a while now. Karen is the absolute best. Professional service and she actually cares about your nail and skin health. I was allergic to wax until she told me she has a wax for sensitive skin. I gave it a try and I have had no break outs. Same with my nails, they are growing. I highly recommend them.

Pedicure chair is nice as was pedicure and they have a nice selection of colors. Basic services are good, intricate nail design isnt their strength, though they will state it is and once in chair try to convince you of something else. Also, they prefer cash and will try to talk you out of using your credit card and instead use the ATM in the store.

I have been to this salon 2x already and don’t plan on going anywhere else! Karen did my nails both times, she listens to what you want...you can show her a photo of shape and design and she will get as close to it as she possibly can...she is very thorough and focused, you don’t feel rushed at all! I have not been in a nail salon in a couple years and have never been more comfortable paying what I pay for the workThat is done....

New owners, new management‼️ The place is really nice and clean, they offer complimentary drinks and snacks, and the owners (Jason & Karen) are amazing. Walk-ins are welcomed but they can get a little slammed sometimes, especially on weekends, so I recommend making an appointment ahead of time.

Karen always does a great job on my nails. Gives me exactly what I ask for and very professional. The salon is very clean and currently up to date with all COVID-19 health precautions. Laurel Nail & Spa is the best nail salon around! Under new ownership of Jason and Karen, this salon is top notch with tallented technitions, cleanliness, variety/options, all in a beautiful establishment. Jason is my go to with my nails; he is the best of both worlds, precise and speedy! He remembers my prefered shape, length, and colors! It makes me happy that he cares about his customers so much.

I drive all the way here from District Heights to get a manicure and pedicure every 2 weeks. Everyone is friendly and the shop is nice and clean. I’ve been going to Karen for a long time and she is great! She is very professional and skillful at what she does. She is also friendly and very personal towards all of her customers. I’m usually a hard person to please but she has gained my trust and that’s why I come all the way to Laurel and pass a million nail shops on my way just to come to Laurel Nail and Spa!

Heard about this from a friend who’s a regular. Definitely worth a visit! The owners, Jason and Karen, are super nice. Theyre accommodating with the current standards in place due to COVID. Everyone is 6 feet apart and there are plexiglass protectors while they do your nails. Overall, great experience. Will definitely come back again and will refer them to my co-workers.

Karen is the best nail technician I’ve ever been to! She is always so friendly and makes sure I leave with a smile on my face. I’ve been going to her at Laurel Nail Spa for months and have always had a pleasurable experience! After they reopened from the COVID-19 closures, I was amazed at how clean the shop was! Guests were asked to take their temperatures and seated 6 feet apart. The stations have plexiglass between the nail technicians and the clients. They also sanitized all of their equipment and seats. This is the best shop in Laurel! Ask for Karen when you go!!!

I have been following Karen to have my nails done for over 15 years and love the work that she does. This new salon is nice and inviting and a great place to relax and get pampered! Everyone is very friendly and the salon is clean and bright.

Jason told me to come In at 8pm ( & no they didn’t rush my service at all!!!) when they were near closing! So surprised to see it was them. Everyone seems more happy and eager to please the customer. This place is a complete ripoff. They quote you a price and then double it. Also got an infection from the lady ripping off too much of my skin. I will never be back here to spend any of my money!

I absolutely love the Laurel Nail Spa. I have been coming to The Laurel Nail Spa since it was located in Walmart. Since Karen and her husband took over the service has surpassed my expectations. Every time I come Karen always make my nails look amazing, I look forward to her work and conversation during each visit. Karen is AMAZING!!!!!! I previously went to the same lady to get my nails done for 6 years, and recently moved to Laurel. I have finally found my new nail Lady! She is detailed and cares about her customers. I am EXTREMELY hard to please and she has won me over.

This establishment is very clean, and they have many COVID precaution/hygienic practices in place. That said, I’ve been twice for an acrylic full set and both times I’ve been disappointed. First time, my coffin nails were crooked. Also, the acrylic fill did not start at the nail bed/cuticle, leaving a gap at the nail bed. They also are inconsistent in their pricing. Sometimes it’s $45 for a full set, sometimes it’s $55, or $50. They won’t tell you how much until it is done.

I have been going to Laurel Nail & Spa since the Grand Opening early this year. To my surprise the owner sold what I thought was Nail Heaven. This brought concern would the service be the same? Would I have to find another nail shop? Well the answer is the previous owner left me in good hands with Karen. Karen is an awesome Nail Technician. She gives the best hand massages and you don’t feel rushed when in her chair. If she is your nail technician you won’t be disappointed. Oh and I just love the way she say Okay Babyyyyy. Went in on a Monday afternoon 2 weeks ago, it wasnt busy at all. Nancy was the tech. Poor workmanship, had to file my own nails after a point to correct them, and it took her 2 hours to do a gel (1 color) on toes, with a basic clear coat manicure. Talked to her co-workers in her language all the while Im getting my feet done, and quite frankly, I could care less about that part, just do good work. Interestingly, she tells me shes been doing nails over 20 years, though according to the work, it may be time for her to find something else to do. Charged me $65 when at most, Ive paid $55 for these basic services in most places in Maryland. No hot towel, no leg massage. When I questioned her about the charge, she stated that she didnt charge me for picking out my color??? Its a Nail salon... you didnt charge me for picking out my own color, why would you??? Nice looking shop, but I will not return.

They are friendly but she did not take her time on doing my nails!!! She told me to pay $50 for nails that were suppose to be short but she made middle length. $50 for short tapered square nails with just polish on it!! I didn’t get design on them, they aren’t all the same shape, and she didn’t clean up around the nails. When I got home I had to pick off the extra acrylic from the sides of my nail.
