Came in for an oil change and set-up our appointment with Carla for the earliest available slot. We arrived at 7:30-ish am and was immediately taken cared of by our service advisor. A few minutes later and she came back to us saying the oil change was done but was concerned with a few things the tech noticed about our vehicle: they recommended a few service necessities like our brake fluid (low and dirty) needs changing/refilling, the air filters (filthy) needed replacements and so do our entire crusty wiper blades. We knew it was time for those to get done and with Carla working with us to get it done at a good price was more than enough for us to get it squared away. An hour or less later we were off with a rejuvenated CR-V that was also washed clean! We love the Honda West Service Department, and Carla makes a good experience a great one—every time.

I drive a 2019 accord hybrid and one of the warning lights came on saying an electrical problem. I spoke to my service adviser mark and he told me to bring it in even though I didnt have an appointment. Their texts analyzed the problem and it was a simple fix that my Small battery was wearing out and needed to be replaced. Car batteries in Las Vegas dont last a long time for those of you who live in Las Vegas. A new Honda battery was installed stalled with a 10 year warranty and Im very pleased with the outcome and the professional service that I received from Mark. I would recommend Honda West because they actually listen to what I had to say.

My service person Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable in regards to my vehicle. The wait area is spacious & clean, not to mention complimentary wifi & a charging station which is very necessary while waiting. I didn’t have to wait much longer than expected as I was ready to go. I highly recommend bringing your car to Honda West!

Tyler was great. Im not sure if they wasted the car like they said they would. At least I didnt see any water coming from the the door sills but I wouldnt take a star off for that. I wasnt rushing to do anything though so time wasnt a constraint. Tyler also helped me get some touch up paint and some running boards Ive been wanting to get. Other than that, everything was great. Thanks Tyler.

Had two different service reps that gave me two different types of information. I wanted my Safety camera checked out, and the first guy didnt mention a charge for realigning it. The second guy said it would be $300. I told him I couldnt pay for it, but they never even checked it out. Will rethink my next Honda purchase.

Do NOT purchase a vehicle from Honda West in Las Vegas. In 2018 we purchased a Honda Odyssey from this location. Part of our package was a tire replacement service. Fast forward to 2020. In August, this location called us to tell us that they would like us to come in and trade-in our 2018 for a 2021. We told them we would it if everything remained the same: payment, coverage, etc. They said they could make that happen, came back, told us everything was the same and we traded in our older car for the new one. Today, our front driver-side tire blew. Keep in mind this car has about 12,000 miles on it. I called the service station, mentioned my name and the tire replacement coverage, and they said to come in and they’d take care of it.Once I arrived I spent about an hour waiting before being told that I didn’t, in fact, have the tire coverage. They put me with the finance manager who told me that I didn’t have it. I asked him to check my previous contract and, voila!, there it was. I told him the whole situation and how it felt very dishonest that they would tell me all of the coverage was exactly the same when it wasn’t. Who knows what every line item on a car contract is and what exactly it covers? I don’t think it’s out of line to expect a little good faith from the sales department.After about 15 minutes of back and forth he told me he couldn’t do anything and went back to work, though not before trying to get me into another new car. Dude, I just want *one* tire.The whole situation left me feeling extremely frustrated. I’ve purchased several vehicles from this location over the last 8 years I’ve lived in Vegas, but I’ll never do so again. And all over $200. Don’t waste your time here.

But, the friendly receptionist pointed my in the right direction- which led me to Joseph Slattery. He was phenomenal! Used the express lane for an oil change. It was an easy process. I think the only time you have to wait long is if you go during the busy times when there are other cars. Its understandable, but even then, the oil change was still done in a timely manner. Shaun(?) was the one who assisted me and was professional and attentive to any concerns I had.

Oil change service was good. The only thing I am not happy was adjusted my steering wheel. I understand not everyone is the same height that’s why I always moved my seat back for someone taller than me. But adjusted my steering wheel is the first I experience. When I first got into my car, I didn’t notice until I started to drive home. Took me awhile to figure how to get it back to the position I was used to after I got home.

Called ahead to let them know I would be bringing in my car to get a tire replaced. Talked to parts and they assured me they had it in stock. Got there and they didn’t. Then the service advisor tried to sell me two tires instead of one even though my other tires are in great shape. I understand this is likely part of his job though, so I wasn’t mad. I asked him to put the new tire on the back because that’s where new tires go and he told me that was incorrect and it needed to go on the front. After some debate, I asked him to just put it on the back anyway. I signed for a quote of $220 for the upgraded tire they sold me because the one I wanted was out of stock. I waited for a while which was fine because they were clearly busy. About 30 minutes before close the advisor came up to me and told me that he was able to get me a $20 discount for some unknown reason. I was thankful and left because I had to get to work. After work I looked at the tire and they put on the one that I originally asked for. That tire was $20 cheaper. So the discount he gave me was actually the price difference between the two. I don’t mind people making mistakes because we are all human. I would have strongly preferred if he was honest with me though and said that they actually had the tire in stock and that’s where the price difference came from. It also would have been nice if he would’ve known that new tires always go on the back. This is common knowledge for anyone that’s replaced tires before. I even doubled checked and every manufacturer recommends putting the new tire on the back if you are only replacing one. Overall very disappointed but I’ll be back I guess because it’s the closest dealership to where I live.

I usually never think of writing reviews but I hope this can help someone out of town needing to get service... I was very disappointed with this service center, Karla Gunther whom I had the appointment with was very nice and said everything was going to be taking care of it was great to hear after traveling for hours without ac in 100 degree weather. They already knew what my appointment was for because it gives you the option when making the appointment online mine was an AC diagnosis. So they said it will take a couple hours, which I was willing to wait and I said it is fine I came at 12pm the time of my appointment a 30 min drive from where I am staying. I waited for 3 hours for me to be told, after I went to ask how much longer it would be because they never said anything to me prior the wait, that they wont be able to attend to my car due to the amount of cars they have to work on they offered to keep the car there knowing I had said I leave tomorrow morning because I have a 6 hour drive yet after letting them know they said the appointment is just a reservation to see them not a slot for the car to be worked on which I thought was, assuming thats why we clarify what we need the appointment for. So if you need your car service make sure you get a clarification if they will be able to work on your car before letting them take it because even with an appointment your car might not be priority.

David was great. He explained what services were going to be done as part of the Service A package. The car was ready for pick up in less than 2 hours. When I went to pick up my car In the Service Dept., I went to the wrong counter so the gentleman behind it said to head over the Cashier area. So I went to the next counter thinking it was the Cashier area. What I did not appreciate was the guy behind the second counter saying “Oh, I’ll take her money.” as I walked away heading to the Cashier. I’m sure he would not have said that even jokingly if I were a guy.

Had an appointment at 9:30 AM for service which I was told should take about 1 1/2 hr. Planned on waiting at dealer. Upon arrival was advised the car would no be ready until at least 1:30 or 2: PM. Reason given was there were so many cars without appointments ahead of me. Why bother to get an appointment?????

Not a great service experience. I have brought my car in 3 times and each time there was something disappointing. The first time I brought my car in my key wasnt opening the trunk. The advisor told me the car just needed a new key. But....they were super behind and have more people coming in tomorrow so they would have to keep my car overnight. Ok whatever. Next time I come in I bring it in for recalls and there was an awful rattle in the rear near the 3rd brake light. After picking up my car, I discovered that they in fact had not fixed the noise, but instead made it worse. Fine, I was planning to take the car to Findlay to get it fixed right, and then the service department asked me to review my experience and if I couldnt give them a good review to let them know. So I told them about my experience. The service manager replied back and promised a rental and that he would make sure this gets fixed right. He told me we will talk on Monday, (it was Friday). I sent him a few times that I was available. On Monday, I did not hear anything from the service manager or the service department. I made an appointment online and dropped my car off in the night drop Monday evening. I was told Tuesday it was a decklid panel tapping the glass and they had to order a new part and keep it over night. Wednesday, I was told the part arrived damaged and that they would need to keep it overnight again. Thursday, I hear nothing. After work I just show up to pick up my car assuming it is fixed. I arrive and while I am waiting, one of the service advisors Karla was on the phone with another client who had scheduled for the dealer to pick her up at 4:00pm (it was 4:47p) and Karla put her on hold and turned and asked the another guy who laughed and said he forgot. Karla said Oh so I guess shell have to figure it out then... I said Wow! Sounds like great customer service and the entire department went silent. Please, service your Hondas elsewhere, or you may have to figure it out when they forget to pick you up, or keep your car for 3 days after promising a rental.

Went to get an alarm on my car and my 2nd Key. Was told the keys would take 4 months to get. When asked what to do if I lose my keys in the next 4 months. Do I have to buy them from someone else? My CR-V was hit by another car in a Texas parking lot and upon return, the body repairs and paint were great. But the mechanics issues were not fully addressed so I took in to Honda West and they did a fantastic job of tweeking all things needed tweeking and repaired the a/c, which was jostled by the accident.

Im sure the oil change was done well. But the seat was higher, the back of the seat was very reclined, the AC was on high when I turned the car on, and all my mirrors were different. None of that was necessary to change the oil and drive the car a few feet, especially not turning the AC off before turning the car off.

I brought my Honda CRV in because it would not run and was told I needed a fuel pump that was backordered for at least 2 1/2 weeks.I had it transported back to LA and found out the only problem with it was a bad gasket on the fuel pump, not the whole pump.Be careful what you have done here.

I went in for a tire change. They were confident with their price and said they could beat Costco tires. I compared the prices of both including labor and everything. Quote was $430 all together before tax. The advisor at the time said I had some tread left so I drove for another 3 months. Today, I was busy at work so I had my family drop it off. They billed her $540. I’m very unhappy with what they did. I’d appreciate an explanation.
