I’m not one for bad reviews. In fact, I wasn’t going to bother writing this. But I’m here to make people aware of the situation. I had this set done a week & a half ago by the nail tech Eric. Honestly, I was super pleased with how these came out & even went as far as recommending elegant nails to several friends purely because they were one of the best sets I’ve had. Other than the odd nick from the drill (where he did in fact cut my cuticle) i was happy with the outcome. Over the week my middle finger nail began to darken. I thought that maybe I’d gotten ink or something stained on it, but as the days continued the worse it became. The growth of my natural nail underneath was green! After lots of research and reaching out to other nail technicians, I was informed that its a bacterial infection which is caused from improper nail preparation & dirty, un sanitized tools. Crazy, you would think with covid that tools would be disinfected prior to use for different clients. Today I went back to elegant nails as I have been turned away from every other salon for nail removal. Upon my arrival I made it very clear what had happened and how I simply wanted them removed. To be turned away and told to come back at a later date?! Absolutely not. They then told me they would only remove the one nail. To which I agreed to because at this point I was boiling with frustration and simply lost all respect as a paying customer. Not only is this infection NOT on top of my natural nail, it is actually under my nail, to which I will now have to have it removed. I’m beyond disgusted with how I was treated. I simply needed the “proper” removal in order to receive medication for said infection. But no. No soak removal. Just a hack with the nail clippers & file and off it ripped, ouch. I was not handled in a polite manor, I was rushed into sitting down, having it ripped off and shown to the front door. How disgraceful. Now this sort of thing can happen to any nail tech, even the best of the best. By no means does this make Eric a bad nail technician. It’s a very unfortunate event which could of easily not had happened if the time was taken for proper application and hygiene in the first place. I understand this is a business & time is money. But as a paying customer, you’d expect better. As for the one lady, who’s name I did not get, treat your paying costumers with better respect, you’ll receive the same attitude you give. I hope this helps other peoples awareness of this salon. I will not be returning.

It was not a good investment today to visit this establishment. To was my esthetician. She is a nice lady, but made many mistakes. Her Cosmetology certificate has a date from 2017. So I would assume she has a good amount of experience under her belt right? Apparently not.The photos I shared are the final outcome of correcting issues I verbally let her know about. There was no yelling, no one pointed fingers, nor was a scene made.I am not an esthetician myself which is why I frequent Nail salons. Elegant Nails did not provide me with elegant nails.> did not leave me with clean nails> did not clean the skin around the nails> the finished gel result was drooping> did not apply nail polish nor top coat to the complete nail surface> the Gel polished bubbled after 2nd UV exposure, had to rebuff the nail, and did not come out with that shiny look> Cat eye look is not as promised>finish result still had small bubbles on the surface, but because I got a glittery cat eye you cant see it from above only side viewThis was my first visit, it was busy on the pedicure side (about 8 customers), manicure was 3 customers including myself.Price paid was $42 (no dicount given)Final result of nails 2/5Cleanliness of environment 3/5 (they didnt disinfect work space, plastic divider is dirty, no change of gloves between customer)Wait time 5/5 (I called in advance to verify availability)Family friendly. YesOverall unsatisfactory.

Quick and detail oriented.. I love the delux pedicures, leg massage, and hit towels. Good prices, practicing safety procedures, and friendly. They will take care of you and remember you like family.

I have been in the area almost 5 years. I have tried over 20 nail salons up here in the NW/Centennial area since, so when I give 5 stars I really mean it. The staff is very friendly. The salon is cozy, comfortable and inviting. It is a hidden gem!Lisa, the owner, is terrific. She is very knowledgeable. Lisa saved my natural nails after another nail salon tech weakened them to where they were breaking all the time. If you are into nail art, Helen is terrific. I highly recommend this salon.

If you pay for a shape, you should get it. they NEVER do coffin nails right. there is a difference between tapered square and coffin. if you make someone pay, you better do the work! and they love to make you pay

My two young daughter and I went here. Two of us got a full acrylic set and one got gel nail. My nails were not rounded as they should be but rather flat with odd lumps in them and have begun to lift after just a week. My eldest daughters nails were not cleaned out underneath and had giant chunks of acrylic stuck to her fingers. She also didn’t shape her nails to square with rounded edges as we asked. The woman also refused to do a simple 6 dot flower on her nails stating “I don’t know how.” It was clearly because she was too busy on her phone and didn’t feel like it. We asked if anyone else of the 4 people in the salon could do it but they were too busy giving themselves pedicures during business hours and also rudely refused. My youngest daughter picked a blue color which the woman then switched for a different blue without her permission because the blue was pale and she didn’t want to have to take the time to do multiple layers so it wouldn’t be see through. She also did not listen to what I told her and “forgot” to do the ring finger with blue and then sparkles over it. They were all very rude and disrespectful to myself and especially my children as though my kids had no say just because they’re kids. We will never go back to that place again. I have never been to a nail salon that was so unprofessional and took so little pride in their work.

Ive been going here for almost a year now and I love it. My nail tech is Julie and I definitely recommend her. She always does a great job, wonderful to talk to and is such a sweetheart. Reasonably priced, talented techs and great service. Highly recommend.

Not worth the money to be honest. My nails look bubbly and crooked. It seemed like the older lady who worked on my nails was in a rush to finish so she could go back to talking with the other employees. I wont be back.

The staff here are always friendly. I come here every month for a pedicure & don’t have a specific person I use ... they’re all great!! I also bring my niece with me occasionally for a mani/pedicure and eyebrow wax & no one avoids doing her services like I’ve had done in other salons (she’s 12). Highly recommend this place.

I have been getting my nails done every two weeks for 20 years and this was the worst Ive had in a long time. Three people for two things. Did not color match polish for toes to gel for nails like asked not even close in color. Bad bumpy fill did not clean the extra polish of my fingers. Did not file/clean up my nails and was the most $$ Ive ever spent on fill_pedi ever unimpressed and would not reccomend

I’m very picky about my nail, so it takes a while to find a good tech, but Eric did a wonderful job on my full set pink & whites. Love them!!! Definitely going back

Lisa is AMAZING! I have been going to her for 6 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else. Everyone in the shop is super nice and helpful. Same core people have been there since I started going and that says a lot!

My first visit -- very busy shop, but clean and friendly. Phoebe did a beautiful job on my ugly, dry cuticles, and then applied gel polish very neatly. I will definitely return.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON FOR ANY REASON. Very unprofessional techs, rude, and in my opinion one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever received. The person who did my nails was also not skilled in applying gel polish and left my nails not smooth and lumpy. When I asked that it be done over, they started talking in Vietnamese to each other, and then seemingly reluctantly fixed my nails. Before I left, the owner who is a woman, came to me and pointed to a sign that stated we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and told me that if I was unhappy with my services, I didnt have to come back. After her comment, I definitely wont. There are many other salons in the area that will appreciate your business, and you being a customer. Trust me, go somewhere else.

They never seem to have enough people available to do all the services they provide. More times then not, they will ask you to come back later, usually an hour to 2 hrs later. I never really have the time for that so I end up going elsewhere.

This was my second time going, and I liked the nail lady from the first time, except it was rushed this time. When I was done, they sat me down for my nails to dry nobody checked on me for at least 5 minutes after the dryer shut off. Then when I was paying, it was $25 for a pedicure and I gave the guy $40, expecting my money back to make a tip, but all he does is hands me a $5 back. Do NOT assume my tip and 40% was way more for a busy day and you doing a shitty job. I am never going back, find a different place.

I have been going to this place for so many years and out of no where my nails are needing fills so much sooner then they should my gel top coat is coming off and my nails are bumpy not smooth at all I paid $60 for this so not far I paid 45 last time they lady argued with me when I know what I paid and to be ripped off

Very disappointed, a worker named Snow had done my eyelash extensions and first of all she put glue all over the eyelashes and made them look like they were 95% plastic. Not to mention they started coming off in chunks due to her lack of skill and the excessive glue use. She claimed they would stay on for a good 4 weeks and they lasted a total of 3 days, so thanks. Very displeased with the outcome and the BIGGEST waste of money. Not recommended.
