Love the equipment and run track and the lockers to pay to hold your things
Really based off the environment and overall customer service. The front desk is very bland and very often has a no welcome attitude. The juice bar people are great ! And a few of the floor team are welcoming. The gym is kind of bland & people can be very stand offish. But solid to get a great workout in. In terms of equipment, it’s all kind of old. I’ve been coming here well over 1 year & a half now.
My GoTo Gym for all the Weights, Machines, Pool, and Steam Sauna. Highly Recommended for a Clean Workout environment. 2 year commitment required though
Meh, been coming here almost 3 years now. Stellar playroom, which is the main attraction of this gym. Equipment is decent and normally well upkept, have not seem any equipment upgrades since I started going. Im a mid-morning gym goer, so place is decently busy such that you need to have a flexible routine since most machines are singles with a few duplicates, like leg extensions or cable machines. Juice bar is hit or miss, sometime its almost custard and others its watery. Sometimes they call your order by name, others by what you ordered. Its a standard gym on the pricier side.
Do NOT GO THIS GYM ❗️Dont believe anything they say to you. When you want to join, everything looks very simple and tells you that if you are going to move, they will cancel the membership for you. However, when you tell them they need to cancel their membership, everything is the beginning of a nightmare. They refuse the formalities that can effectively prove the moving, and will constantly find various excuses, the most common sentence is: There is nothing I can do. Its not that there is nothing to do, but they dont want to do anything. Whats more disgusting is that you have to be very careful that they may affect your creditworthiness in the bank, even if it is because of their poor service. A terrible gym where hunger is money. If you are not a local resident or crazy fitness enthusiast, dont give them your information. Because they will use your information to eat your money.
Filthy, at best. Im a regular at the LVAC in Henderson, by the Henderson Hospital, but recently moved to this area so this GV/Eastern location is closer now. The contrast between that one and this one is night and day, with folks constantly keeping up with the cleaning of the place, vs. here at the GV/Eastern location, where I havent seen a single cleaning person, the toilets are all backed up, the equipment is nasty with people leaving puddles of sweat. Now looking at other options.9/13 Update:First time I decide to use the pool and sauna, guess what happens? An older man sits in the sauna and urinates in his pants, leaking all over the floor. He just continues to sit there in the sauna like nothing happened. There were two more people in the sauna who observed this. Its sad to see, but demonstrates my point about this gym being absolutely filthy.
My favorite gym to go to, the only reason for a less star is because shower areas are not the cleanest. I love their classes and women area.
Always the newest and cleanest equipment, friendly people all around. Warm and inviting staff and killer juice/smoothie bar!
Good club with well-maintained equipment. The clientele is a little young and some of the mullets cant seem to remember that you break your weights down and put your dumbbells away. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
I have memberships at 2 other gyms and got to say this is the worst one. Literally every session the same two female trainers always comes up to tell me to not drop weights ON THE DEADLIFT PLATFORM!!!, cant have bags on floors, cant take off shoes for deadlifts, cant take pictures in locker room when literally every other female daily takes pictures there. Gym is supposed to be my safe space and these same two trainers make it so uncomfortable to workout there that I wanted to drop the membership at first lying saying I was moving so not to spend energy complaining but that process is difficult. All I got was a number from the front desk that literally tells you to wait on the line and then hangs up each time. Other locations are better but this one really has a poor environment.
Eastern and 215 is a source of cov19 the air and the location is filthy, spoked to customer service the lady on the phone careless about my complaint, refused to freeze my account until the cov19 situation get better,I asked to speak to the manager she said we don’t have a manager and transferred me to sales department, requested to cancel my 3 year’s membership she said you won’t get any refund, so basically I either go to filthy gym and get sick or loose my membership money. Not happy at allllllll the gym has no hand sanitizer, equipment very dirty no one clean after using them, the air inside is not circling its summer is hot inside and humid, the smell of others breathing and sweating, not happy at all and regret joining this gym after I spoked to this woman on the phone 🤮my next step is to report this location to health department
Body Attack class on Sunday is always fun, energetic, the instructor is awesome, good music
I have been active in working out at LVAC for quite awhile. The staff, from the greeters to the trainers, are extremely friendly and helpful.I have developed several friendships with clients and staff. Each facility, and I’ve been to all of them, is clean and had a uniqueness to itself.
2 of the 3 cable fly machines, arguably the most popular piece of equipment in this gym, have been broken for two weeks. A few days ago one of them was taken out all together so now theres only 2 and one is still broken. How does a gym with 7 locations not have spare parts on hand for one of the most popular pieces of equipment in their gym? Also, the music is awful, repetitive, and way too loud. If you dont have noise canceling headphones be ready for your ears to be bleeding by the time youre done along with a bit of psychosis. Cant wait for some of these new gyms in the area to open up, this place has really gotten progressively worse over the last decade. A shame.
A lot of equipment for strength training, more than enough cardio machines, the sauna is badass, the hot tub is dope and the pool is awesome. After years of going to Eos Im happy to say Im done with them because LVAC is 10x better.
I took a tour of this facility with my wife and brother early Saturday afternoon. What started out as an exciting and detailed tour of the expansive gym that is known as Best of Las Vegas soon became an awkward departure. The manager, Juan, showed us both floors of the building which included the free weights, isolation machines, classrooms, pools, and track. Everything was going smoothly until we got back to his office. After explaining the different levels of membership, we thanked him for the tour and told him that we would think about it and get back to him. He tried to pressure us into signing up right then by mentioning that he really needed the business and was going to be leaving next week. I asked him if he had a business card he could give us, so if we did sign up, we could do with him at a later time. He said no and then told us that if we helped him out, he could help us out by giving us 3 free protein shakes! We politely but firmly refused again, at which point he took the membership sign-up paper from us and said that we couldnt keep it because promotions could change. Then we thanked him again and he literally stared away from us while holding the door open for us to leave.Any desire to sign up at LVAC immediately evaporated due to the managers overbearing and pushy attitude! Respect peoples decisions and business will naturally come!
This is my gym! Love the equipment and atmosphere!!! I do however sometimes wonder how SOME of the trainers and managers got/keep their jobs. But overall OK, not a bad place.
The governor has followed CDC recommendations and dropped mask requirements for the fully vaccinated. Mr Cleans power trip is over and he can go back to what he does best, cleaning the gym and picking lose weights rather than harassing patrons working out minding their own business while following guidelines.
Great clubs. Always clean. Well staffed.
Signed up for a membership, they said i could cancel for 50$ not the case. they want me to pay the rest of my membership (2 years, 700$) to walk away.
Do yourself a favor and go to EOS or one of the local gyms like Prototype or the Lift Factory. LVAC employees, billing reps, and the owner are incredibly conceited. The contract is ridiculous too when you want to end it even after fulfilling the 2 years. You have to pay $50 even if you move several states away.
A coach at this location named Duda Jakovic seems to have a preference of race. She asked me to get off an available treadmill so the white dude next to me can use his treadmill that was unavailable for social distancing for the day. He tried to explain to her he was on the wrong machine while he was getting off but she wasnt having it. She wanted me off. Management did nothing. If there is any repercussions for this post I will get my attorney already on retainer involved.
Best gym I have ever been to! Lots of machines, very clean, amazing classes with skilled instructors. You have all the tools you need to improve your strength and physical fitness.
Just started going, so far so good. Im glad the lockers are open now. Makes it easier for me after work.
I did not go to the gym because I had the virus. I received constant phone calls to pay. They were closed for a few months, and when they opened they wanted to collect the money even though I couldnt come because I had the virus. I was forced to pay even though I was not getting any service. Contacts in this situation need to be canceled due to the circumstance. I am still paying regardless. This is wrong!
When the gym reopened, I was not able to continue attending, since my mother had moved in and she immunocompromised. I expressed this over the phone many times, and since COVID I had no money to pay off the $300+ to cancel my account. I thought LVAC was a caring company since they decided to waive it after listening to my story. Turns out they lied and sent me to collections. DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM.
While everyone is suffering due to the pandemic they are still holding people to their full contract and not working with people outside of sending them to collections or asking them to buy out their contracts with a 25% discount. As a local Vegas company they should be ashamed of themselves for how they are treating the locals who have kept them in business for all these years. The owners obviously have no compassion or empathy. I look forward to canceling my contract when I can.
I love coming to this gym. Wearing masks during heavy lifting and cardio it ridiculous if the owner was someone that workout he will explain to our fat governor. It not good for human body we need to breathe. It Understood to wear the mask when walking around but not during workout. For now one I’m staying home. If some of you accepted this sh$$t go for it
This is my go to gym in Las Vegas. The cardio area is massive with lots of TV screens hanging on the wall along with individual screens attached on the cardio machines. Just bring your headset. There is an indoor air conditioned running/walking track as well as a lap pool and rehab pool. There is a sauna and steam rooms but are closed due to covid 19. The weight area is massive with tons of free weights and machines. There is even a neck machine which I dont see often in gyms. I enjoy training here. People and staff are friendly which is a plus.
Favorite gym in Las Vegas, best time to go is first thing in the morning.
I like this gym. Machines, free weights, cardio machines, track, classes, personal trainers, smoothie bar, squash courts, pool, sauna, locker rooms, and kids playroom. Theres a lot of great stuff
The most busy gym, but the building is large and there’s lots to do if your next machine is busy. I posted a picture of the playroom hours, because they don’t list them online and I was constantly having to call to confirm the hours. Most holidays the playroom is closed, but sometimes they stay open for a couple hours for that holiday. You’re allowed 2 hours per child, per day, with only one check-in per day.
This is i Nice gym lots of things to do n different areas to workout. And pool area the saunas are not available at the moment but they do offer it for $25 a month and $5 to sign up if not too bad the people are really nice and they do also have a fruit bar with the fruit drinks and you can have different flavors and not bad price most of them start around $7 for the larger ones $5 for the small you can add money to your gym membership to be able to purchase them if you will like people are really nice you can also download the app and Reserve different classes really fine energetic atmosphere enjoy getting healthy.
Memberships here is very affordable. For less than $25 a month you can have access to a club thats open 24 hours. I think I pay in full on an annual basis and the monthly works out to be less than $20. The reason I come here is for the sheer number and variety of classes. I understand that equipment here is actually quite good too if you like to lift weights. The indoor running track is a nice way to cool down or get your steps in without being in the heat of the summer.
Very nice place. The employee are great
This keeps getting rid of important equipment without replacing it. A good gym to go if you like less and less important equipment every time you go.
The biggest gym with the most variety of equipment, pool, track, classes
Friendly, clean, lots of machines- but my favorite is the indoor running track.
Ive been going to the gym for almost a year, and I havent had any real issues. It might be a touch busy sometimes, but I can usually get to the machines I want to without too many issues. I briefly had an issue with LVAC failing to take the payment from my card, and I had to setup a conference call with my bank and them to figure out what happened. Neither side admitted fault and no financial information changed. Thankfully, LVAC waived the fee so no harm done. The way LVAC has been managing during COVID has worked for me since they color code every machine using two colors. This way machines are only used every other day, and people can keep 6 feet away from each other.
Love the place. FUN!!
Amazing. It felt good to run the track again. I did 8 laps today.
Great staff great chefs
Makes other gyms look bad
I Feel like I am being singled out because of my skin color any time I go there. This place is not clean very dirty and unprofessional.
At the time Im writing this review the location is closed temporarily. When I did visit this gym in the past I found it to be clean and well maintained. Plenty of machines, treadmills and free weights. Friendly upbeat staffers and overall good energy here. Cant wait til it reopens 😎👍
Great to have everything back open
I had a good time.
Club is amazing! They have everything you need! Not for me though..I like it a little more grimy. Everyone there has already won workout!
I already put my mask on and literally employees are doing nothing but harrassing to put my mask on my nose and they kept overdoing it until I was fed up and left the gym I already have my mask on while I am working out but they are overstressing in a way that really made me uncomfortable PLEASE STOP HARRASMENT
Great facility. Better than other 2 Ive been to (though those were good too).
I have been meaning to write a review for the longest time. I like the gym, but what makes it better is the DAYCARE! Araceli (the daycare manager) runs the place in a absolutely professional way, so I have a peace of mind when I leave mi kids (1 and 3 years old). I have been using the gym for 2 years!I know every time I go to disconnect my mind, the most important thing (my kids) are safe and well taken care of. Araceli shows so much leadership when managing her staff. They are always cleaning and she is keeping an eye everywhere (kids, parents, staff, clean place) just by watching her job you get stressed by how much she is taking care. I don’t care if she scolds me because I got a minute late picking up my kids or won’t let me drop the kids off because if I forgot my ID membership if that is what it takes for her to run the place as she does I am on board! She sticks to policies for the kids sake. Her main focus always is to leader her team in a very firm, but polite way so the KIDS and their SAFETY are the main FOCUS you cannot put a price on that. Thank you LVAC for selectively pick somebody like Araceli to run the daycare! Is huge on her shoulders, but keeps us parents coming back. That is have to be a very stressful job with a huge responsibility on her shoulders, but that is what keeps us coming to a lot of parents. I have come across to moms that feel the same way so much that we always try to make sure we come in at days and times when Araceli is around. It made the a world difference in my life to know I can disconnect from my everyday an enjoy my workout our to go to classes because my precious kids are in great hands! Thank you Araceli and to your team for all the warmth and love you give our little ones!!
Awesome experience. Pricing is better, and the staff is pretty warm and inviting. Doesnt feel like the same LVAC from 5 years ago
Great place to work out
Update: after a month of going to another club, I came back for a swim to see if there were any improvements. It got worse. Check out the photos below and take a look around before rinsing off.The purpose of this review is not to judge, criticize, or complain, rather to create awareness of a problem that you, the reader, might want to know for your own health. The pool area is supposed to get a deep cleaning every Monday and Thursday.Spoiler: It doesnt. It doesnt even get a daily mopping. They dont sanitize the shower area non-slip mats, or walkways. Ive brought up the ever-present chunky mold by the shower (look behind you at the green cheese on the floor when rinsing off the chlorine) and the younger managers were very proactive, taking pictures of the funky stuff and presumably making a report, but the senior management was very flippant about sanitation and at no point in the three weeks I complained did said floor cheese get removed.Although this is the closest to me, I found a location with better pool sanitation, and as a pleasant side effect, I found that my hands no longer burn for ten minutes after getting out of the pool at that location as they routinely do at this one:) its definitely worth the drive to go to a different location if your primary purpose is using the pool.this isnt the worst LVAC, but the pool cleaners either dont have a checklist to follow, or there is no managerial oversight of them actually completing those tasks.
0 stars. Very rude management. I moved from Nevada in June and they still sended 600 $ to collections. Keep away from this business that’s is going out of business.
Hi, are people wearing masks in this location? At the location on N Rainbow they are not. There maybe 50% and as each week goes by it seems to get worse. The staff never says anything to anyone not wearing a mask. Is it any better at this location? Thanks.
Great place to work out. Truly enjoy going there
Great place to work out
Staff is friendly. The people dont use the designated equipment during social distancing. Ive seen people not clean a machine after they are done using it. The staff are good about cleaning machines though.
Play $20 a month to be a member here and if I go to a different state I have to pay $75 a month minimum just to have the membership to this kind of workout equipment. That’s not including all the free classes. $20 a month in Vegas get you a membership that probably would cost you $150 in any other state. They have top-of-the-line equipment and top-of-the-line instructors.
Charter member here. Love the facility and group fitness instructors. They are handling COVID protocol extremely well.
Although you can get a work out in, it is upsetting to see so many people not following the rules and not using the correct color-coded machines. It is even more upsetting to see the staff not enforcing the social distancing protocols.
Even though the wet areas are still closed its still a good place to work out. Take caution though, most members arent even wearing masks. Were still in the middle of a pandemic.
Terrible company, dont waste your money here! You would think due Covid-19, they would be understanding about cancelling a membership. They want to charge you no matter what. You have a perk thats unavailable due to Covid? Guess what you pay for it. You want to downsize your membership? Guess what you have to start your contract all over again! They say they sanitize all workout stations. How can you with a limited staff and the sheer amount of members at all times will not make it safer. TERRIBLE COMPANY. HORRBILE ETHICS. DOWN RIGHT GREEDY
I love this gym. They have everything you need and even monitors to watch your little ones at daycare. I put 4 stars only because when you go in the afternoon it gets so packed there’s times you can’t even find a spot or machine to work at out.
Awesome place! good workout machines good atmosphere and good prices
The gym itself is fine, but their customer service is not. I moved out of state and cancelled my membership and had to pay the 50 dollar fee. Despite cancelling in April of 2018 they continued to charge me. As of now I payed them hundreds of extra dollars in membership fees and now I have a collection account for almost 500 dollars. Dont get a membership here if you may move out of state, as they will do anything to take your money.
It was good I had a great workout loved it
LVAC is an awful, awful place. Because of a PANDEMIC that no one saw coming, we are no longer able to use all their facilities and therefore we cannot go. Did I cause this pandemic? No but yet I have to keep paying for a service I cannot use? This is asinine on their part. You can do better and should do better LVAC!
Love this club! They have awesome classes like the Wednesday 12:30pm Zumba class with Eva which is the best dance class I’ve ever taken.
Michelle C is my trainer and I absolutely love her. She listens to what my body tells me, and is just a fountain of great information. Beautiful person and in such amazing shape. Staff in the playroom are pleasant-my kids enjoy them and they stay safe. Great location, lots of equipment, plenty to do. Wish they offered Hip Hop and/or Booty Blast classes at this location however. Contract prices are incredibly competitive.
LVAC is well known in the valley, so my girlfriend and I went to check it out as we are looking to get in shape and get healthy. We were in a bit of a hurry, but wanted to check their pricing as we are comparing gyms, and there was no proving available online so we had to stop in. Before they would give us pricing we had to sign in with our full contact info with address and email. Then we had to wait for a sales rep... Since when does a gym membership require a sales person? On top of this they pulled us into a room to discuss our plans for the gym, what we wanted out of it, etc... We told the sales guy we were in a hurry, and just wanted the price for membership. He then continued to talk for 20 minutes before finally giving us any numbers, then had to get his manager for some reason. On top of all that, the membership requires a 26 month contract. The whole process felt like I was trying to buy a car, and the sales guy even made a joke about us not wanting to take a tour saying you wouldnt but a car without test driving it first. TLDR: The process is like buying a car, and you have to sign a 2yr+ contract just to break a sweat. And we will not be going back.
Fantastic love to go there and work out
Would be better if the sauna and steam rooms were open.
Not good and not clean. Make you sign a 2 yr contract. Very unsanitary.
I love this gym! So much.I like to stick mostly to the womens gym, but the entire building is incredible. Racquetball courts, a smoothie area, dance area, classes, weights, running track, pool, jacuzzis, steam rooms. It has everything. The staff are always friendly and welcoming when we come in. I feel like its priced pretty fairly for what it is and what you get. I mean its a gym, theres going to be weird pricing contracts, but we really like going here.
No steam room or sauna!!! Why am I paying a full membership when all the amenities are not available?? Not fair...
Compared to the other places, this is definitely the smallest gyms and is a little older and looks like it too.One of the most mentioned things seems to be correct in that the steam room and the sauna are not the cleanest. In general, the mens changing room was not that bad, but the showers are old and might need a good cleaning. The equipment here is limited, so I suggest you arrive at a non-peak time, since you will be waiting for different machines.
Very very busy, but good price for membership, and I wish they had a sled to push and pull for leg day but, its still a good gym.
Don’t get a membership here. If for whatever reason you decide to leave or move they charge you a TON of money and there’s no way to sign up without signing one of their BS contracts. Aside from that none of their gyms are very good. The weights never get re-wracked and the customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’m an IFBB pro and I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone. Zero stars.
Save your money and buy workout equipment for your home
Great equipment and plenty of room. Staff is very helpful and the facility is always clean.
Great late night gym..
Good gym with awesome 2 hour child care. The facilities are getting a little older and the steam room sometimes gets kind of dirty. Avoid early evenings and around 9 am when their busiest times are- you might spend too much time waiting for a machine, squat rack, or bench.
I really joined LVAC because of their group classes. However, since theyve reopened the class schedules, it is almost impossible to get a reservation to join a class. And, they only let you sign up on a weekly basis. This does not work for me. I will not be renewing my membership.
I like this gym because it has the least amount of dbags taking Instagram pics of themselves and blocking the walkways talking to one another. However, machine maintenance and cleaning needs to happen more often. Staff are pretty cool at this location compared to the other LVACs. I drive past the Henderson location 15mins just to visit the Green Valley location. That alone speaks volumes!
I train down at the Eastern/215 location. I find the staff to be friendly and the equipment fantastic. The place fills up every afternoon during the week generally from 3pm-7pm. You get your posers and twinkies but thats typical of just about any chain gym. The classes are excellent and there are some fantastic personal trainers available. The facility itself can provide a diverse training experience - at whatever your fitness level. I have had my locker broken into, and money stolen. I had a key lock and it was broken into in the middle of the day on a weekend. I now bring only my gym ID and keys and have changed my workout times. Give the place a try if youre looking for a gym to call your own, contracts are part of the fitness industry standard. I like the 24hr accessibility and the proximity to the 215.Thanks
Great and convenient classes! More than enough equipment and space. Showers are clean but the other guest are disgusting in the shower. Always coughing up snot and blowing snot rockets in the shower. One time I heard someone throwing up and had to ask her to leave the shower. Also, a lot of women still taking photos in the locker room. Had to ask at least 3 girls in the last 4 months to stop taking pictures. I only gave it 3 stars because I get grossed out by other members everytime I take showers. I have a toddler and have a very busy schedule of running errands and picking up another child from school. I have to use the showers and wish other members werent so disgusting! Besides that I love The staff in the Playroom. Always very nice to my daughter and classes are challenging and rewarding.
5 stars based on group fitness classes. I dont use equipment; I just enjoy the group fitness classes.
Awesome place good workout.
Great gym all 💪 to the way around 👏👍🧘🚶🏃🚵🏋️🏊
Swimming is great!
LVAC is the best gym in Vegas. It is affordable, has a lot of equipment, 100s of free group fitness classes and friendly staff. The Green Valley location is a little more dated than some of the other clubs, but is still well worth the price of membership.
This is my gym! Love it!
Great gym but a lot of rude club members at this one that try to bully people they dont like till they leave and I guess go to another one. Confusing because its a good neighborhood and you would expect garbage to prefer something more their style.Good company but watch out if your bank balance is low and the payment gets cancelled because they wont tell you or keep trying to charge until you have been in default long enough to be charged a larger late fee.
Excellent instructor
I went to this gym for over 10 years. Parking lot is very small. Bathrooms are downstairs from workout area. Always had issues with childrens play area. If a new inexperienced employee writes up your child they keep it on your record no matter what. Happened three times over a Seven year span one was a revenge write up for an incident after our child got a fat lip and we told management. When we were told the third warning resulted in a 30 day suspension we canceled our membership. Why deal with a company who keeps a record on a child that had a complaint at two years old? Children do things understandable I will accept that. Even in the court system they are more lenient. After ten years they didnt even try to work it out. Bye Felicia!!
This gym is over the top great! Tons and tons of equipment! Tho, most of the front desk girls are very unpleasant I just use their bad attitudes to get me amped up for the workout!!!
