I brought a guest to the gym today August 18, 2021 she had a seven day pass. The first team member had no clue what to do he looked around confused. He called another team member over who said “ I think we need to call a manger “ the manger came over took my guest I.D. We worked out for 45-60min on our way out we wanted to pick up her i.d. A manger told us to have a seat which I didn’t understand; we stood patiently next to the front desk. Another manger came over saying have a seat to give them sometime, I asked why and was told her I.d might be in the lost and found. I’m not more confused how a manger took her I.d and lost it ! The other manger said it might be his car …I was furious why would he take her I.d to his car ! You should never take anyone personal property outside the doors! Having her personal information on it?

The Club doesn’t provide courtesy day passes for guest of members unless you pay more monthly. My friends’ personal info was displayed on screen to counter her request, and we found that the benefit to the membership had changed. I found the cost of $20 excessive compared to the $25 monthly charge that a member would pay. It felt like an experience one would have at a rec center and not a club that values their members. Anyone will find a good sales model in place here, rather than a platinum service model.

On the off chance that it takes you an hour to get dressed to go to the rec center, this spot isnt for you! In case youre not kidding about preparing and need an enormous determination of hardware not regularly found in many exercise centers, including old school free weight machines, this is your Mecca! Individuals in here are straightforward and come here to prepare, not be seen or take selfies like clockwork. In case youre into that, go to Lifetime and pay twofold.

Very convenient and clean! From weight training, cardio, swimming, playing squash to attending group classes, you can do them all at the same location! They have a child care too! There are plenty of parking spots + juice bar and nutrition center!

Closest gym to my house! Great, VERY CLEAN, super friendly staff. I want to go more but the pool is a little too cold sadly. Maybe once I have my strength up for weights I can return! (if you guys do decide to pump up the heat even a couple degrees please let me know!:))Facility is fun and lit in a very classic way - very 90s Vegas Vibe - tons of neon and mirrors!! Classes look fun and engaging too!

If this place ever renovates I will cancel my membership. Every other gym looks like a dystopian nightmare and this location looks like my childhood. Think the cafeteria from power rangers. I love this gym so much. The staff is extra extra nice and the equipment is exactly what I need. 5 racquetballs courts and an excellent amount of neon.

We got lost inside AFTER our tour. We found front desk, the gentleman, Abel told us, We went to the: oldest & smallest location they have! We ALL laughed talking about NEEDING GPS for my daughter to find me in this small location!!

Like working out in an episode of saved by the bell.No broken machines, decent size, indoor pool, and several other amenities. Contracts minimum of 26 months.

I was more upset that I couldnt have anyone fix my account on the website and App. I just wanted to sign up for classes. But you can only check one day at a time. It would be nice to have a full month of schedules at each location. There was no one answering the phones at the administration office so I couldnt get my membership fixed. Last thing is I hate having to click on the calendar to plug in my birthday and I have to click it about 100 times just to get to my birth date. It would be nice to just be able to type my birth date when I have issues signing up for a class or issue with my membership.

The gym is conveniently located, but the changing rooms, showers, and bathrooms need more attention. I think an urgent remodel is needed because they will lose many clients like me who want to use clean and safe facilities, people who after workout want to take a shower in a comfortable, non-rusty bathroom.Thanks!

Equipment stays in good repair. Price is reasonable, especially given the many amenities and features. Of the all the chain gyms in Las Vegas, its definitely top 3.

Very nice gym, have sanitizer stations throughout, the people working were very friendly and helpful they went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable there.

Just got stationed here and haven’t had a chance to get a Nevada ID. Website said free day pass for locals, but when we arrived they said they would not accept our military IDs as proof of residence, and we would need to pay $20 for a day pass. The staff was pretty rude. Overall terrible experience.

Came here for tanning at Bodyheat. No signage on outside of the building so I went inside the fitness place and found it.

Better than EOS. I use to work at EOS. The gym has the retro 80s vibe. Got a free smoothie for signing up! They got a juice bar, legit supplement store (good prices) and US bank (closed due to covid-19) but you can still use their ATM. My one stop shop here. Negatives are the music is too loud and the cancellation penalty price is ridiculous and lunacy even if you have a valid excuse like losing your job to COVID.

Love it every time I go. When in Las Vegas, I even Uber back and forth just for working out in the best gym I have ever seen.

The personal trainers are really nice and encouraging. The Staff are motivationg. Awesome place to work out, try new work outs, get a tan, purchase health supplies and/or grab a healthy meal & smoothie. I love it here.

Love it worth it an encourager to join. They have a private womans section. They have child care.the child care is not 24hours the Facility is 24 hours its always clean. I feel comfortable here.

Ive been to many gyms..and I can Honestly state that LVAC is by far the best that Ive experienced thus far.

This was my first trip and I loved it. I got a free shake with my membership, worked out in a judgment free zone, and Im ready to go back once my body rests a little. Id definitely recommend this gym to anyone.

Need a workout, but have kids? Thay have a playroom. Gym, tan, laundry? They have the gym, and also body heat tanning salon. I have to say Michael is their best trainer, and Melissa is the best tanning salon attendant. Oh, classes for all types from, self defense to yoga. Great place, and nice people!!!

Machines are always clean and available . no better gym for the price in LV

They could charge $100 a month and get away with it. The club is just that nice and it has so many amenities.I also want to give a shout out to the manager KPI was having billing issues. The cooperate office was rude and useless. I went to the club and KP took care of everything with a smile.

If it takes you an hour to get dressed to go to the gym, this place is NOT for you! If you’re serious about training and want a huge selection of equipment not normally found in most gyms, including old school free weight machines, this is your Mecca! People in here are no nonsense and come here to train, not be seen or take selfies every 5 minutes. If you’re into that, go to Lifetime and pay double.

My family and I have been members for some time now. I had to call several times because they kept charging an NSF fee. Every time they did this, I had to call them and connect them with my back who would tell them that it was an error on their part because my account had enough to cover the membership fee. LVAC argued with me every single time. Also, every time you call them with questions, they are defensive right off the bat. No matter how polite you are, they always have a rude tone. I have never talked to anyone in the call center that was pleasant to speak with. We recently moved out of state so we had to cancel our membership. We paid every month during the pandemic while our membership was deferred to the end of the contract. We were unable to go to the gym because we have autoimmune deseases. This option was great until we had to move and cancel our membership. We lose out those 6 months that were deferred and paid for. When I called to ask about this, of course the customer service person that I spoke to was rude. Worst customer service ever and they need to fix their payment system before they get sued for charging false fees.

They are trying to screw people over. 600$ for going out of contact even if you moved to other state. That’s what they did with me. I moved from Nevada in June and they still sended 600 to collections. Very rude management. Keep away from them.

I lost my job after Covid hit and had to move out of the area. I prepaid for a 2 year membership. I met all the terms in their contract to have my membership refunded. I made a request via Certified mail to cancel my membership as well as a refund. This was a complete nightmare. They claimed they never got the request and somehow my membership got cancelled. It took at least a half dozen phone calls to managers that were too busy to talk. It was EVERY excuse in the book to not give my money back. Several months later I get a partial refund. They STILL charged me a huge penalty to cancel due to Covid.

I’ve been an LVAC member since 2016. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve gone to Planet fitness and EOS, they’re exceptional gyms, but they’re not LVAC. I love how big most gyms are and the women section is my absolute favorite. This location has such a big women section and I go in between the hours of 1am-3am, so they’re always empty which lowers my concerns during this epidemic. It’s always clean, and the current staff is very welcoming and friendly. Especially the front desk and even the janitor. I even get greeted by the janitor sometimes.

We need a negative star or zero star option. Worst customer service ever. Treated poorly. The list of complaints I have is to long even for a Google post. Anything I say they will just deny anyway. It was bad for me and my whole family . Really bad. Dont give them your CC#, Bank # or any money.

Has plenty of space great equipment, just about everything you would need for an amazing workout. Ths only thing thats lacking is a basketball court. I believe this place would draw much more money in membership if they had one

I moved back to Virginia. I spoke with front desk and ended up paying 150. I had no proof of my new residence. I ended up mailing my new dmv paperwork from va. I got a collections letter. They claimed they never received anything and had to pay for another Month. Mailed again proof of residency and now stuck with over $1000 in collections. Place loves to rob people. Even called to speak with a supervisor about the situation and was rude as hell. Even mailed my receipt from the post office. Horrible.

I havent paid my membership in 4 months. I went in to pay it and then work out. I told the guy in the lobby i need to change the card, and he said “youre good bro” and let me go ahead. I tried to tell him i need to pay and change the information but he just kept saying “youre good bro”. Im never paying my membership again as long as this guy is working the lobby.

Customer service is horrendous. They will charge you to cancel a membership you couldnt use when they closed for Covid and reopened with new guidelines.Bottom line: LVAC can violate the contract but you cannot cancel your membership for them violating it. Customer service is rude and not above cursing at you, hanging up on you, or telling you theyll get a manager before cold transferring you back to a queue. I hope all locations end up closed as a result of the mass exodus from this terrible business.Get an EOS or 24 hr fitness membership. Their gyms are nicer, staff is friendlier, and their policies are customer oriented.

There are better gyms that are offering more for around the same price. Gyms that arent closed on Holidays that dont really require them to be closed.

Wonderful place great everything

Even tho this lvac is in the cut and thats a huge turn off for people still one of my favorite locations. Only because If you do legs you wont be dying going up and down stairs.

Thank you Billy for taking my call, these people are really pro at what they do and really care. Was able to defer the contract a few months due to drastic circumstances where I really dont want to attend the gym but still want to return.

Will be even better when Sisolak stops banning showers, lockers, saunas and steamrooms!

There customer service over the phone is terrible. I was charged late fees I didnt even know about on my contract. No one explained that to me at the moment of signing. Called to ask about these weird fees on bank account and the representative was rude. Deneta is her name. So rude, speaks over you and has an attitude her tone is dismissive and sounds annoyed over the phone. By the way this gym needs remodeling and smells a like sweat .

A bit crowded. Customers are not the best. They hog machines while checking their cellphones and so not clean up their sweat after themselves.

I regret having made my membership in las vegas atletic club the showers closed, the sauna closed, I just need to close the pools, to be the same as planet fitness, no showers, no sauna I do not recommend

The staff at LVAC are always super. Nice people & great trainers. This is the only gym Ive really felt comfortable at. Everyone is willing and able in the interest of true health. Thank you LVAC Maryland pkwy

Has every thing you need

I have been enjoying this club since it opened in back in 1977. I watched it grow through the valley to date. I am still a member and have found the staff always helpful and if l ran into any problems they got resolved asap. I do miss the days of coming in and seeing Mike Tyson working out or jumping into a game of basketball with sometimes pro NBA players that were on the court. But still l find the club top notch. Sometimes it can be crowded but thats cool to see people staying in shape and present a energetic atmosphere . I am really happy to be a member of LVAC.

This LVAC is the first one I visited when I got to town. There are plenty of weight machines and treadmills here. The place is clean and organized. There is a nutritional store, bank, smoothie bar and tanning salon inside as well. Indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and hot sauna are accessible also. There are plenty of group exercise classes throughout the week. Great club! 😎✌

My gym favorito

I called on July 1, 2020 at 11:00 PM, in order to ask about the membership plans. The person who answered introduced herself as Leila and said I cannot tell you about our plans, you have to come here. She was very rude and used words such as huh, and hung up the phone on me twice. I am still in disbelief, and I will not support a company who has an employee such as her. Out of curiosity I contacted another location and they very politely explained the membership plans & answered all my questions. So she not only was very rude, but also would put myself & others in danger of unnecessarily catching Covid-19. If your plans are not a good fit, then I would not come to the facility to not potentially expose myself or others to Covid-19. I implore the owners to check the conversation as the phone calls are recorded, because you will lose more potential customers otherwise.

Large but so so atmosphere. The locker room was freezing! The steam room was mildly warm. The equipment area was a good temperature though. Co-ed steam room. Huge locker room.

Quick and easy sign up, they are priced reasonably. When I walked in it reminded me of the movie pain and gain with the retro colors but I really dig it. The staff is super nice and helpful. I go 4-5 times a week and the energy in the building is always positive. Love this place better than the gyms ive tried before including the one across the street that has rules about grunting and what kind of water bottle you have. Its come how you are and be who you are without issue. I recommend this gym to everyone!

I call to cancel my membership and they told me I have to pay full amount of all the month Im in contrac. I explained that Im having financial problems with all this covid 19 and I cant afford their monthly charges. Their solution is to charge me 6 month in a row to cancel. Their a joke. All business are offering help to cope with this crisis well not LVAC.

I always have the best experience in Connie S cycle class! She’s amazing, always has a great attitude, motivates, truly shows her dedication to her attendees by sharing knowledge/feedback & demonstrates a genuine care for her attendees! I always see her instructing a class prior to cycle class & another class directly after cycle class! I wonder how she isn’t tired & instructs each class like it’s her first class of the day! Truly inspiring!

Its the best

It has equipment I like, but it is very high risk for COVID-19! Very few patrons wear masks and the airflow is poor. If they had fans blowing and UVC light and HEPA filters in their HVAC system thatd make it much safer. They are pretty good about sanitizing, though.

Ive been a member for several months now, and I dont see what all the bad staff reviews are about. Everyone is very friendly to me. Ive never had any problems with anyone! Maybe its just a case of, you get what you give. Dont know about the mens locker-room, but the womens is fine, and theres always someone in there cleaning. Ive brought my daughter and a couple of friends in...and they all joined. So, thumbs up!

On Tuesday a lady fell in the sauna room. Your front desk and a woman coach are not properly trained in emergencies . Your club should train front desk and coaches how to handle emergencies. They didn’t take a statement from the witness and they never called 911. If it wasn’t for the aqua aerobics teacher Connie who called 911 she is the hero. Your staff needs to be trained not only in taking club card and smile and say have a good workout . Thank you Connie for following the company rules.

I have been a member for almost a year and I enjoy it. I especially love the womens gym and the juice bar. The locker rooms are clean same with the showers. I havent had a bad experience because it doesnt matter how rude some staff members can be, Im there to work out and make a healthy lifestyle decision. I do recommend people to go there.Word of advice, please read the contract before signing. Youre signing up for a two year contract and willing to go at least 3 times a week. I just signed my sister up and is excited to join me. :)

This gym is close my location, I dont like there is no cater to the animals! Day care for are pets!!!!! I have not joined! There is day care for children & babies! Cater with now! No cater to the pets! You own! Want bring! Enjoy life experience! Together! Im not impressed with this gym! Seriously! It looks like a lost mall! I just dont like it I cant bring my dog! Have dog day care! I walked in the door in the location 10times know no one else is helpful! Explain anything! No one else said welcome? Said name of the gym! Every one else look stressed out!!!!! Act rude!!!!! No one else could even smile! I want to just leave I had no more questions! I took my service dogs we left! Didnt cater people have pets! I was turned off! No one else had dogs even service dogs with them look at me as if Im crazy strange ! Horrible feeling!!!!! I live close in the area not fun good energy! When I walked in the door! Seriously! Seem waist of my time! I dont recommend! Especially if you have pets your going to be treated like sickness!!!!! Seriously
