I had to put my beloved boy down and the staff was great! Dr. Cooper was so kind to me and my boy and explained everything so I would understand the process. Her empathy for me during this painful process was incredible. She handled it perfectly and with such grace. Thank you for making this difficult process so much easier on us both. I am eternally thankful and grateful. I even received a Sympathycard in the mail. Classy and thoughtful.

My 7 month old Yorkie needed surgery for a fractured knee and I was referred to this location because it was the closest. I called the morning of her appointment to ask some general questions. I have pet assure coverage and asked if they accepted it and they didnt. Asked how much the consultation fee was and if it was applied to the surgery fee, no. Then was asked if I was going to keep my appointment because they can put someone else in my spot. The level of customer service was extremely rude because I inquiring about the services provided. So fortunate that the Tropicana location could get me in and my dog surgery is scheduled for tomorrow.

They are unbelievably rude. They are way over priced. When I called them and asked them what the price was they said $200 just to see the vet. I asked them what if you can’t help me do I still get charged 200 and she said yes. They don’t care about your pets. They didn’t tell me bring them in and we’ll see what’s wrong with them. Pathetic I’ll never go there again

I’m so thankful for the time and dedication for Diezel . Yes I was there a long time but I would be at any ER. Not only did they see and treat Diezel they listened to me. They was very understanding and explained what was going on in detail. The price honestly was on the lower side I felt . I watched the staff when they would come out to others and they still held awesome bedside/parking lot manners. First time here and I wouldn’t hesitate to return again .

They helped my dog get better and that’s all that matters. they took her right away and while I ended up staying there for almost 5 hours I really can’t complain because that’s to be expected at almost any ER. Also fairly inexpensive, it was about the same amount I would’ve spent at my regular vet.

My dog was in the middle of a very long seizure when I called this Emergency Vet. Around 9pm on April 1st. After explaining the situation I immediately get hung up on. But considering they were the only vet open that was somewhat close. I asked my girlfriend to call them back while I tend to my dog who isnt recovering from the seizure, and is continuing to twitch and ends up having multiple more seizures. She explains the situation again, and gets out on hold for 24 minutes until she gets hung up on aswell. My dog was suffering and it seemed like no one cared at this place. At this point we realize my dog isnt coming back from this so we called up a different emergency vet on W. Charleston which was twice as far. But they helped us right away, we even called to let them know were almost outside and they met us at our Car to help with my dog.

During an emergency situation in which my puppy was not doing well after a routine neuter... these people were so rude. I told them that my dog was cold yet they continued to stand outside in the rain with him. The tech told me that if I wasn’t going to nice to the rude receptionist, who was not phased by our emergency, that we could go somewhere else. Apparently, their business is so lucrative, they can afford to send people away. I went to another location and was treated with kindness. The receptionist was kind and quickly scooped up my beloved friend to get his treatment started. Like my son said... if you can’t be nice to owners how do these people treat animals when no one is looking.

Incompetent or heartless.Doctor suggested to put 9 year old dog to sleep as her lungs cannot make it through any treatment or intervention.Dog gradually got better over the next few days and a couple weeks later she is as lively and happy as she’s ever been.I am not sure if the doctor is simply incompetent or trying to make money somehow, but surely people like this should not be able to practice medicine! She suggested to kill a poor animal who, without any other treatment than love and patience, is in absolute great shape! You should not be able to practice, you are horrible heartless human beings!

Im really disappointed with this emergency vet. My dog had a dew claw removed after it was nearly torn off while she was playing fetch. First bad point: they charged me for an e-collar even though I brought my own. Im on limited income and that money couldve been used for something else. Why charge for something you didnt provide? Second and worst bad thing: when the bandages were removed three days later, I noticed multiple cuts all over her foot. There shouldnt have been any cuts since I didnt bring her in with cuts. All that shouldve been inflamed was her dew claw. But it looks like Edward Scissorhands came and went crazy on her foot. Nothing deep but still very painful, especially since they covered said cuts with just tape. As I took the tape off my dog cried. Its a shame since theyre the closest emergency vet to me and the staff seemed competent and kind to me.

This is the worst ER vet office I’ve ever been to. My pet was having an allergic reaction to a vaccine and was having labored breathing and non stop emesis and I was told to go to the front door. I go to the front door and waited for the front desk lady to tell me to drive almost an hour out of my way to Henderson if I was in a hurry. Umm my animal could die during the drive. I then waited for an hour outside before being told that they had 3 doctors on staff who were all with patients and to wait in my car and they would call me soon as they were discharging 2 patients.

One of the receptionists behavior was cold and would short answer, youd think the face of the hospital would provide compassion and gentleness but no, not in her case.. the reason I give 5 star nonetheless is because the doctor and assistants were super resourceful and gentle. Our girl was put to rest and before we made that decision, the doctor gave us all options and patiently allowed us to think it through. She was honest and her team in the process were so gentle and caring. Thank you for your help last night. Our girl is resting now and you allowed her to go painlessly.

I just visited this “emergency” hospital and was turned away because the vet was sick. I work at a human hospital. What do u think we do when a doctor is sick?? Do we close the ER? No, we get coverage! The last time I was forced to visit this clinic. I arrived at 5p and was told that I had to wait until 6. I had to wait in my car in 100plus weather with a hairy dog in pain. Would it have been so hard to allow me to wait in the empty waiting room?? No leave us in the heat! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We have come here twice and had nothing but the best experiences. The first was when one of our dogs passed at home on Christmas Eve. They had us come in and we made Luckys final arrangements. The prices were fair and the communication was great. We got his remains back faster than expected. The second time was when our old girl, Roxie, was on her last leg and we knew she was suffering, we took her in. The vet looked at her and agreed we were doing the right thing. He walked us through the process and was so kind through the whole event. I cant thank them enough for their kindness and help in difficult times.

This location had gone further than I ever expected. Late at night at midnight, my beloved dog had an incident with another dog. As soon as we got their they took no time in taking him in and helping him. The level of care and respect was phenomenal. I can only imagine how hard it is to have to out a pet down. They are strong people that want nothing but to help. Just after a week of the incident, they personally hand wrote a letter, they genuinely tool the time to send a LETTER. Not an email, not a text. A legitimate and actual letter. I will never forget the experience I had there, for good and for bad. Five stars is no where near enough for these people.Genuinely, thank you. Thank you for doing nothing but help. I live in Death Valley, CA. Las Vegas is the closest place with 24 hour vet services but’s a 2 hour drive under good conditions. I woke up at 3am to my dog bleeding freely from what turned out to be a ruptured tumor.I threw her in my car and drive to this place. It was 6:40 by the time I got there. They wouldn’t see her. They took my info, but because the bleeding had stopped they didn’t consider her critical enough to look at since they “closed in 20 minutes.” They recommended I take her to my usual vet in Pahrump, NV who opened at 8am.I did, didn’t really have a choice. By the time I got there, the bleeding had started again. I ended up having to put her to sleep. So, you know, I’m glad my dog had to spend the another hour of probable agony bleeding in my car on the bumpy road back to Pahrump so that this place could close on time. I hope they’re proud of themselves.

I gave them all my personal information and credit card information to go ahead and charge me. Never got a phone call to advise me what was going or how long this was going to take. Never touched bases with me I had to call the facility twice and asked them if they had received my forms.I waited in my car for over 2 hours. I would think that they would find it in their hearts to at least look at the little guy or give him a shot for the pain considering the pain he was in or let him stay over night but nothing. At the end of the day there was no compassion or care for a defenseless suffering little animal, its all about making profit. I had to bring him home and am now trying to figure out what to do with him and hes crying and I dont know how to help him. Im really disgusted with what little consideration or compassion these people had for this poor kitten, it makes me so sick Im so dissapointed with the service and overall lack of even the most basic shred of humanity shown by the vet tech/receptionist who wouldnt even let the little guy in the door had in cold windy weather at 1:00 am. If I could give this veterinarian a zero I would! My friends dog Koko passed away here, and she was cremated by this facility. As a gift for my friend I purchased a plate with a personalized plate of her paw and name that they would make prior to cremating Koko and deliver it to my friend as a surprise on the day he would return to pick up his beloved Koko’s remains. Well, when my friend went to pick up Koko’s ashes, they never gave him my gift! When I asked him about my gift, he said he never received it! I was infuriated! I called the Vet only to find out they forgot to create the footprint of Koko’s paw and the personalized plate. I told them this was very poor customer service on their part, and they should have called me and offered a credit to my friend who spent over $700 at this vet! But they didn’t. All the lady could say was she was sorry. She didn’t seem empathetic either! When I asked for a refund, she told me I needed to go in there since I didn’t have the credit card, I used any longer with me or wait for a check! This was very poor customer service on their part! I would never ever recommend this establishment to anyone. I think they take advantage of pet lovers at a volatile time!

Kent Kovalsky is the rudest, most incompassionate vet we have ever spoke to. He made it seem like the only way our 7 lb. chihuahua would have a chance is with $15,000 of radiation treatment for a supposed tumor that he made us believe might have caused a seizure. He used scare tactics and never once made us feel at ease. Kent, you should find a new job - youre terrible at being a vet. This place takes advantage of grieving pet owners and charges them thousands of dollars for basic overnight boarding and treatment. Its too bad the Las Vegas valley has no other emergency vet to choose from. They know its the only place we can bring our dying pets so they have no issues over-charging. Drive to LA if you can make it - avoid VE+CC at all costs - and especially, avoid Kent Kovalsky and anyone associated with him.

Went to bring my small chihuahua this place after he was bitten by a large dog and was told after a brief examination (too brief) that my dog was so badly injured he needed major surgery and the estimate was between $2500 to $3500. My other dog was killed in the same incident and I was grief stricken and overwhelmed already. When I was told this huge amount for what looked to me to be an injury only requiring a few stitches, some antibiotics & pain meds, I left the place in tears knowing there was no way I could afford what I was told was required to help my beloved little guy. The vet called me shortly after I left and offered to put him down for free if I would give consent. I was so upset by that time I was inconsolable and no way could I give permission to kill my dog without even giving him a chance. I asked them if I could have more time to think about it because I couldnt make that decision right then and they said ok. After 2 days the vet called again and said my dog was better and to come pick him up. I was amazed that they called to say he was better after being told he was in such bad shape (needing MAJOR surgery) and was told the bill was like $800 which was cool to me. I went to another location to pick up my dog and then was hit with ANOTHER bill which was a grand total of over $1800. When I reviewed the services that were done there were NO X-RAYS (so HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY DETERMINE THE MAJOR SURGERY DIAGNOSIS in the emergency facility?) There was no suturing done, not even a stitch. The whole bill was for him being in the ER, pain meds and antibiotics. So the bullshit prognosis that was given the day I brought my dog there 6/25/2016 WAS A LIE!! To top it off, these shiesters tried to get me to put my dog to sleep when the only thing wrong with him was bleeding which stopped on its own and meds for his pain and to keep him from getting infection. If I would have agreed to the $2500-$3500 original estimate.....God only knows how much my bill would have been!!! Keep your beloved pets AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF JOINT!!!
