Duncan has gone here for a while now to get his nails trimmed. Every time they see him you can tell how much they like him and I know he’s always in good hands.

I had been taking my animals here for the last 13 years, best place, best vets and amazing service ! I wouldn’t change it for anything !

We had to say goodbye to our 17 year old best friend yesterday. This vet is relatively new to me, they’d never seen my dog (but had done well with our cat previously). We were taking him in because he was weak and at the end of his life. We wanted a second opinion because we really couldn’t bear to lose him. Dr Bailey was patient and so compassionate. She didn’t try to sway us any specific direction. She offered us kindness, personal stories of her own pets and difficult choices and helped us come to the decision on our own. She made sure he was sedated and comfortable in my arms and we were allowed to sit for as long as we wanted. We were not rushed. They took payment quietly and gently while having us decide how we would like his remains back, ahead of time so we were able to think only of him once they brought him to us. We sat with him and spent some times saying goodbye and then Dr Bailey came in when we asked and she let me hold him while he transitioned, comfortably and peacefully. We noticed they had placed little hearts on his bandage. This was the hardest day of my life and they made it somehow bearable. I really appreciate everyone we interacted with from them doctor to the administrative staff. Thank you.

We absolutely love Dr Stone and her assistant, Alexis. I brought my two kitties in, at different times, to get them up to date.One of my kitties is more than a handful and not a very good patient. But they managed him well!

Im genuinely surprised I havent already written a review. I honestly thought I had. I noticed some other reviews were stating that it is expensive to come here. I will honestly say this is the least expensive veterinarian facility I have ever been to. I have been to many trying to find the right fit for my dog Angel and I. My dog is very particular with people. She has never liked either the doctor or the staff members at any other veterinarian clinic. Shes always been so terrified that she tries to hide behind me. At Grand Montecito she cant wait to say hi to every single person, and it was this way from the very first visit. I was absolutely stunned. Ive been to other veterinarians where they muzzle her without learning her temperament and Ive been to some places that have charged me $500 for simple blood work.Grand Montecito does not do that. They are very reasonable with their prices and their staff is always friendly regardless of what they have going on during the day. They dont look at their patients (the animals) or customers (the owner) as just money coming in or a number. They get to know you as the owner as well as your animal.They always give you individualized attention so that they can be sure to pinpoint what is going on with your animal so that they can keep your costs down and make things as comfortable as possible for your furry family member. My dog and I have been going there regularly since February or January of last year. Weve had vet visits that were more than just vaccinations or simple blood work. She had gotten very sick and I can tell you honestly that every single staff member made sure to take care of her and I saw them doing this with other patients as well. They are patient beyond belief and they always try to fit you in even though they have a lot going on. I have referred my family members here as well and they were also impressed. They are very compassionate and they are fantastic at what they do.

I took my puppy as a walk in due to the suggestion of the receptionist because she was having issues that were urgent. Upon walking in, they asked me if I had a mask. I did not. They did not provide one, nor did they say anything about a mask being required for patrons when I called previously. You have to provide masks if you’re going to require them. The receptionist told me that I would have to wait outside in my car so they could provide services curb side, however, it’s over 100 degrees outside. I refused to wait outside in the heat with my dog. I’m astonished they even suggested that and it worries me of their capacity to care for my puppy correctly when they suggest such a ridiculous way to provide service.Anyway, Dr. Lewis, I believe, came out and decided to have an argument with me despite him having “critical patients” he needs to tend to. I’m not sure why he was wasting his time arguing with me if his current patients need such urgent care. I guess his personal beliefs about masks are above doing his job. Meanwhile, a man who asked in without a mask on and no one said anything to him about a mask. Is it because I’m a woman that I was treated that way? I don’t appreciate being treated differently than other people in there, like I have some kind of disease. Completely unreasonable. As stated previously, if they would have given me a mask, I wouldn’t have made such a fuss about it. I wouldn’t have liked it, but I would have worn it. I will absolutely never return to this business because it is poorly run and each employee is unprofessional. It’s an animal hospital. Not a human hospital, so mask requirements do not apply as they do in medical facilities. Finally, if you are going to be so completely rude to people because of the masks, you really should have some there to provide for those who are following CDC guidelines and actual reality. We are well over a year into the pandemic so you would think privately owned businesses would have SOME common sense by now.

Watch your fees and all the extra charges they like to add on plus you better not be a walk in around 3 oclock or after because they will start charging a $200 after hours emergency fee even though its only 3 or 3:40 in the afternoon like they did for me. Find a new animal hospital.

Dr Lewis is the most inept, unqualified, unprofessional excuse for a vet Ive ever had the displeasure of meeting in my life. Ive had multiple poor experiences with his personality and today was the icing on the cake. I wouldnt send my worst enemy here, especially not for surgery considering he does a botched job and doesnt send home animals with proper pain medicine. Buyer beware, he will mame your pet and cause undue suffering if he doesnt like you or you ever have any issues with him. He also tried to tell me he OWNED the office which from his outward appearance and lack of professionalism is highly unlikely.

I love this place they take care of our baby Bella we give them a 10 never have they done us wrong they make sure telling us like parents to take care of our dogs They dont see him as dogs. They see him as human beings. I take care of us. Showing us love new things. And absolutely Im in love with them.

Dr. Lewis and Dr. Stolzer have been the best vets our animals have ever seen. They have been sure to give each of our pets love and outstanding care. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

Hands down the best small animal clinic in town! The vets are all amazing and I really appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedules to call me and answer my questions and concerns. Odin is not the easiest dog to handle and they have always been so kind and patient. I’m fairly certain the staff all breathes a sigh of relief when they see I’m bringing in the cat and not the dog... 🤣😂 Thanks for being awesome guys! Keep up the fantastic work!!

I recommend Dr. Lewis. He is always available and makes every visit really informative. Explains everything very well and you can notice he really loves his job. My whole family has pets and we all go to only Dr. Lewis :)

Every single person at Grand Montecito Animal Hospital went above and beyond for my baby boy Finn when he was hospitalized with Parvo at just 8 weeks old. I got multiple updates about him daily while there, and everyone was so kind when I would call and ask to speak to someone about him. I truly believe that Finn would not be here with us right now if it werent for everyone there at the hospital and the amazing care that he got while there. Even when he got kennel cough, when I called to get him in we were able to bring him in that same day to be seen and they went above and beyond again to give him everything that he needed to get better. Grand Montecito was recommended to us from nearly all of our friends with animals here in Las Vegas, and we will definitely be recommending it to everyone we know.

LOVE IT THERE AS DOES MY DOG (BENTLEY). HE CRIES AND TRIES TO JUMP OUT OF THE CAR AS SOON AS WE PULL UP. I WATCH HIM ON THEIR CAMERA SYSTEM DURING DAY AND HE IS ALWAYS HAVING A BLAST PLAYING OR CUDDLING WITH THE GREAT STAFF! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. IF I COULD AFFORD IT, HE WOULD GO EVERY DAY WHILE I AM AT WORK.

Dr. Stone is absolutely fantastic. She answers all questions, is very calm and extremely kind as well as patient. She was the vet for walk-ins when we took our very sick I.W in. The vet techs are professional and also extremely nice. Best pet hospital its our second time coming and they are always very good. Highly recommend.

Honestly this vet has the worst prices in VegasFor any type of procedure on your pet I just brought my Chihuahua in because she had a cyst on her leg and it popped they didn’t do anything because I said I didn’t have enough money for the surgery what was over $1000 and we’re in the middle of a pandemic like where is your compassion people isn’t your job to save pets lives then why did you guys leave my Chihuahua with an open wound on her paw? Is there any way I can sue

We have been going to Grand Montecito since Dr.Lewis opened it way back when. All of the staff are very kind and helpful. I wouldnt think to go anywhere else and always recommend Grand Montecito when someone is looking for a new vet.

Dr Moens is hands down one of the best. Knowledgeable understanding caring and listens to what I have to say. Outstanding and personable everytime we see her. I will only see Lewis Hammond and Moens. Shes hands down with the wait!

On April 20th my dog wasnt doing well so I called my vet but they didnt have any appointments and said to go to GMAH or emergency vet. I made the huge mistake of going to GMAH. When I took him in he was walking but was not eating and had an upset stomach. They assured me more than once that Rocky was doing great and would be home soon. He did have high creatinine levels but was still doing fantastic despite it. April 23 after he was in that place 3 nights the vet calls in the morning and says Rocky is having issues standing but he had read in his file he had a bad back. I was not told he was lethargic, shaking because his organs were shutting down, and that he couldnt even hold his head up. I went to pick him up at 3 PM and see that with my own eyes. They refused to help him until they had collected their money. I would have paid before I left but they made it extremely clear they only cared about getting paid before they would put him out of his misery. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE EVEN TO PUT YOUR ANIMAL DOWN!!!! I have posted on Facebook the full story if you would like to read it.

Calling them to get in touch about a lost dog with one of their tags. Calling at 11am in the middle of their posted business hours and they let the phone ring untill it hangs up. Now the phone just rings 1 time and immediately hangs up. Very unresponsive, impossible to get a hold of. Very very upsetting.

Worst vet ever. Stay away. Front staff have no clue. (Kids) hostile environment with angry customers being upset with the front staff, not knowing what they are doing.

Dr. Stolzer is the best vet I have ever had the pleasure of taking my dog to. Her bedside manor is above and beyond. Being a big dog owner and her knowledge of big dogs is a perfect match. Id highly recommend Dr. Stolzer and Grand Montecito.😁🐶🐶

I have been bringing my fur baby here for over 8 years. My poor guy has a bad digestive system, but they always get him right again. Everyone is very empathetic and kind, I never feel like they’re trying to force me into any sorts of procedures or medications that are unnecessary and they try to avoid making my bill any higher than it needs to be. I have recommended them to many and will continue to do so. Nobody wants to go to the vet, but when you have to, I am so glad I can bring him here.

I had been searching through what seemed like every vet in Vegas and a friend recommended this place. I have a puppy and she needed her shots so I thought I would get her vaccinated here to test the waters. The staff is friendly and Dr. Loose was great. I think we’ve found a vet.

Do not take your babies here. I took my pup here for 9 years. They make money hand over fist and come time to put your pet down, they act as if its a standard walk in. Zero compassion. After being told I took her somewhere else to be put down because I just couldnt let her last moments be there, they never updated her file and I get constant emails and texts reminding me of due services for my deceased pup. Any animal hospital is better than this one. Im one of 3 people I know with similar stories from this place.

I want to take a moment to pass on my experience with Montecito, and specifically Dr. Unser. We took our dog in whod been bitten by our other dog. After review, she needed surgery to suture the bites and drains put in. Everyone there is amazing and they took incredibly great care of Missy including keeping her overnight. In the post surgery appointments they were, again, nothing but very helpful. Every staffperson I spoke to there was wonderful in everyway way. Kind, courteous, patient, and compassionate. Dr. Unser is exceptional in her interaction with me and her care for Missy. In my opinion, anyone looking for an exceptional veterinarian should consider Grand Montecito.

Every time I come in my with my kids, they are treated with care, all while keeping me in the loop, and educating me on better practices and approaches to being a dog dad. Couldnt ask for more.

Hospital withholds prescription refills as a means of driving business, costumer service is unempathetic.Today, 08/29/2020, I received an email stating my cats prescription cat food would not be filled. As I had already been charged I called the pet store and was told Grand Montecito Animal Hospital had cancelled the prescription.I called the animal hospital and the person who answered the phone did confirm the hospital does cancel prescriptions if the pet is not seen for its annual checkup.My complaint, which I explicitly stated to the representative, is that there was no notice of the cancellation of the prescription, no notice the cat was due for a checkup, nor no notification of the specific consequences of forgoing the checkup.The representative told me there was no way they could keep track of the thousands of patients they had and who was due for a checkup. The representative told me instead they keep track of the thousands of patients they have and compare who has active prescriptions and who has not had an annual checkup, then actively reaches out to prescription providers to cancel prescriptions of patients they have not seen. The representative told me this was standard procedure for animal hospitals.Frustrated by the response, and looking for a little sympathy, I asked, Do you understand why I am upset?The representative told me, No sir, I do not.The only way to reach out to this business on their website is through the phone number. There is no other way to elevate a complaint.

Grand Monticito is a loving caring facility, from the front desk to the vet techs to the Dr.’s. Dr Lewis is amazing, he went above and beyond to save my baby from her seizures, he stayed after his shift was over, offered to take her to his home and care for her .unfortunately she did not make it, but with Dr Lewis’s help and his staff We were able to give Punkin her best life

Wonderful Doctor, wonderful staff. She helped my Gabie was loved and respected until her last breath. Love this girl so much and letting her go was so hard, but Doctor Stolzer was so helpful and loving. She took all the time it needed and even loved on her herself. Will be thankful for ever for that.

Dr. Lewis and his staff are amazing! We have taken our pups here since they opened. We have gone full circle with Dr. Lewis...he was the first to see our golden retriever as a puppy and he was with us when we had to say goodbye. He is a caring professional who is both knowledgeable and compassionate. We appreciate all of the quality care and support Grand Montecito Animal Hospital has given to our fur babies throughout the years!

Do not take your pets to this Animal hospital! They did nothing to help my precious pet after he did not recover from a scheduled grooming visit. We were told on a follow up appointment 3 days later that his vitals were just fine but my precious 13yr Dog passed away the next day! I am devastated and heartbroken 💔

I used to board my cat Diablo at this hospital and they were his primary vet. They were always so wonderful and kind to both of us and I found their boarding prices reasonable. They always had his health and best interests in mind and spoke very plainly to me in terms of how to best take care of him. When he passed away, they were kind enough to reach out and send a card that I still have today and offer some comfort. One day when I get another kitty, I look forward to working with this hospital again. They truly are wonderful.

Got an appointment the same day I called. Front desk staff are amazing, helpful, and polite. I dropped my puppy off and got a call from the doctor 15 minutes later to let me know the result of the puppy exam and treatment plan.

I am totally blown away by the care and respect your facility shows to both customers and fur clients. Just moved to the area and in taking over the care of my cat from Just For Cats, she has shown such an improvement. She is on 1/4 doses so cutting her pills has always been a problem. Your office cares enough to have the doses cut and ready to go so I am sure to give my cat the dosage she needs. This was not done at the aforementioned vets office. Your vets are superior in all makes and models of fur babies AND your lab bills, shots and office visits are more affordable. For a senior on a fixed income being able to afford testing is priceless. Please keep your prices low as you are making it possible for me to care for my pets (family). Also, your front office staff are amazing. Your techs are amazing. Do you see a pattern here? Amazing all the way around! Thank you thank you thank you.

Be careful here. Doctors don’t really listen to what you say. I told them my cat had a tooth problem on his right side of his mouth. Later got a call saying they gave him the wrong amount of medication and overdosed him and that the problem was on the other side of the mouth. They gave him the pain medication for a dog triple the size. The problem was on the side of the mouth I told them they just never took note. Took cat in to pull a tooth and wound up paying for everything with no service done except the overdose of the cat and them telling how lucky we are they realized there mistake to give the medication to counter act the overdose. This all done under the care of the main Dr. Lewis who never claimed responsibility and still charged for everything they put my cat through. And his mouth still not fixed. Thanks Dr. Lewis.

The staff is excellent! Friendly and helpful. I was able to get a same day appointment for my kitty who needed immediate attention. He needed surgery so I had to see a few of their doctors and each one of them were awesome. They took great care of him! I definitely recommend this office :)

I’ve gone to different vets for my parent’s pets before and they’ve all been awful, and you could tell they only care about money. This is not the case with Grand Montecito Animal Hospital! We rescued a 10 week old puppy from an abusive and neglectful household, and the very next day we were able to get in to see Dr. Lewis, and let me tell you he is AWESOME! The entire staff is incredible, they make you feel so welcome and don’t put any hidden fees in your visit. When we saw Dr. Lewis, they don’t even charge for an exam with the vaccinations, unlike most vets (specifically in the Centennial area) who charge $100+ on top of vaccination/deworming cost. We have seen him about 4 times for vaccinations, deworming, and to get out baby treatment for a bacterial infection and each time we were able to get in same day or next day, and Dr. Lewis and his team were so genuine and really showed how much they care about their patients. Our puppy gets so EXCITED when we go to the vet because she remembers Dr. Lewis and his team, and gets so excited to give him love, even when he has to give her the shots she needs! We will definitely be coming here for all of our pet needs in the future (and currently) and do not plan on changing vets at all. :)

They are very professional . And treat you and your animal like you matter. They also give you an estimate of costs. Not a surprise at the end!

Ive been taking all of my fur kids since moving to Las Vegas nearly 5 years ago. No matter which Dr we see, theyve always been professional and take care of my babies so they stay healthy. Sometimes it can get expensive (Dr/vet bills get expensive), but if you would spend the money on a human child to keep them healthy, why not spend the money on a fur child.

Dr. Moens was awesome with our dog Addison. She was able to ease our concerns about the bump that developed on her ear and talk to us about insurance for her and our cat. Thank you!Dr. Unser was patient and accommodating with our cat Wrigley who hates visiting the vet. She was able to get his exam completed and made our experience stress free!The service I’ve experienced here is significantly better all around from even just a year ago. Thank you for making a normally stress inducing visit for both my pets and myself so quick and easy.

Been taking my pets here for almost 6 years and absolutely love this vet. They are affordable, have a super friendly staff, and a huge help! I recommend this vet to all my friends and family and recommend them to you!

I have been going to Dr Lewis for 15 years. He is absolutely amazing! Best doctor ever. I have since trusted several other doctors there. They have been amazing. I am so grateful for the caring staff and doctors here. They truly care about me and my furbabies!

I brought my two dogs here, and was hoping this place would be the one, do to its close proximity to my home. Being new to town, I saw they reviewed well and was excited to bring my pups in.The receptionist we dealt with wasnt exactly friendly, but it may not be in her job description. When making my appointment, I gave my prior veterinarians information so that medical records and vaccination records could be transferred accordingly. It was to my surprise when they only got the information for one of my dogs.Thank God and I mean Thank God, I had a hard copy of them, and that I had looked them over myself and educated myself on when what vaccines are do. This paragraph will make more sense after the next few.The purpose of my visit was to establish care for my dogs in our new city. They both came in for a wellness exam. One pup in addition to the exam needed a vaccine and the other needed senior blood work and a treatment plan for moving forward.When it was time to go, I paid the bill, even though I thought it seemed off. I didnt want to be rude to the people waiting in line behind me.As I was walking out the door, the receptionist called me back and said she forgot the rabies tag and certificate. This raised suspicion because neither dog was due for rabies and I certainly didnt ask for it. The dog they said that got it only weighs 5 lbs and I try to stagger her vaccines because of this. I checked my receipt and saw that I was charged for this rabies vaccine I didnt ask for and was given in error. I double check the shot records to confirm this vaccine wasnt due for at least 6 more months.Upset, now over charged, dog unnecessarily vaccinated, I go back in to ask about it. At this time they tell me that she actually didnt get the vaccine, so I just got charged for it for nothing? Maybe I wont notice because the bill was so high anyway?I missed the vets call in regards to the blood work and called back. Was told she was with a patient but would call me later. Never called. This too could be a thank God moment based upon how everything else is going.Two days after being seen there, one of my dogs has a very strong, frequent cough.Then a few weeks later, I get a vaccine reminder about another vaccine my dog is current on for again at least 6 more months. Are they just trying to scam me??This was a terrifying experience!!! I absolutely cant stress this enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr Loose! If I could afford to travel 2200 miles just for vet visits I would continue to see him in a heartbeat. Friendly, honest and never pressures you! Grand Montecito has been great for boarding, routine checks and emergencies. The hours and prices beat no others. Definitely recommend!

Dr Lewis was great, and even though he was very busy, he took the time to answer our questions and get our very feisty Lucy vaccinated and microchipped. The staff was very nice and I witnessed a staff member getting immediate help for an elderly gentleman and his very sick dog. Great compassion!

I drove 36 miles with a sick cat because I called and they told me I could bring her I get here and at 6:00pm they tell me they are closed and I have to pay 200 $ to get her seen when whoever i spoke to on the phone said that it was 55 admissions fees, they should really get on the same page with the information they provide to people who call seeking help for their pets.

I brought my baby in for some concerns since she was kidnapped and held hostage for 3wks and when I finally got her back she was acting extremely different. I spoke with several employees and doctors and each one seems to care less about my concerns. I went from being quoted $300 before services to receiving a $600 bill after services. I also had an appointment and several other patients were seen prior to my appointment. She was kept overnight and I was told she would been seen first thing in the morning upon opening at 7a yet she wasn’t seen until about 2pm or 3pm and it’s currently 4:30p and I’m still in the waiting room with no news or update. When I booked the appointment I should have been told the time was for drop off not an actual appointment yet I was made aware until 2p/3p when they told me they finally started her procedure. I don’t understand how the staff continue to mix up information and not apologize or admit there wrong doing. This process has been so stressful and I doubt I’ll return here ever.

I was very disappointed with the service provided at this location. I was given an estimate for neutering my dog. It was the lowest one from three places I got an estimate from. So, I decided to schedule an appointment. Later that evening I called to ask some questions regarding the procedure and to confirm my estimate to avoid any surprises, but receptionist told me that there was no estimate for me in the system and it will take 2 days to create one. Next morning I called hoping to get a doctor on the phone to find out what happened to my estimate, but there was an estimate in the system, much higher then the original one. I asked them to email me a copy, so I could see what has changed. When I received it it was a completely different amount from the two previous estimates with some fecal test and other unnecessary things added. At this point I realized they dont know what they are doing. I couldnt trust them with my dog. So I went to a different clinic. So glad I did.

As always, great service, caring doctor and polite staff. I called at 4:30pm and was in and out by 6:00pm the same day! I’ve been taking my dogs here for years. I’ve referred several family members and friends over the years. Dr. Stolzer and Dr. Lewis have always gone above and beyond to care for my babies! Thanks Grand Montecito!

Been going here for 6 years now. From shots to surgery, grooming, housing, name it, they have it. The staff are very caring and professional. They love my fur babies as much as I do. Definitely the best. Thank you Grand Montecito!!

I recommend Grand Montecito Animal Hospital to anyone and everyone. They treat my pets like they are family! The doctors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Lewis and Dr. Stolzer always go above and beyond as do the rest of the staff! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Excellent doctors!! Dr. Stolzer has been outstanding caring for my pets. She is so nice and thorough and will answer any questions you may have. It isnt about money; its about getting the pet what they need. She understands I do have a budget and we always prioritize the treatment to fit my budget, but still help my pets. Dental specials run a couple times a year and those are a fantastic deal and can really help, especially if the animal has bad teeth and has ongoing infections. Plus, they offer a 10% military discount on most services, which is really helpful. I have healthy, happy pets living into old age because of her. They also have various brands of prescription food and can order what they dont have. Pill pockets are also for sale at the front desk, because that really helps when my dogs need some medication. Their hours are awesome! Open late and on weekends! I couldnt ask for more.

During this Covid time its a little stressful to do things. The team made sure there was clear communication during the whole process and ensured the safety of our pets were number one as well as us hooomans ahahah I will definitely be back!!

I started taking my dogs to Grand Montecito several years ago after a bad experience at another vet. I have loved everything about Grand Montecito! The vets explain everything, and are extremely nice. Everyone that works there is very nice. They will take great care of your pets.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Every single member of the staff is so caring and they are so wonderful with my dogs. I am beyond grateful for the excellent care they continue to provide for my babies and I truly could not say enough positive things!

Super disappointed!! I took my dog in when his ear got cut open. The last time I used them I got care credit through them and they had a sign posted but never informed me that they no longer take it, they tried to tell me my dog needed a $900 surgery and said that stitches would not work. I asked the front desk how much it would cost just for the visit and the medicine and they told me $100 which Was ok ! Then I told them I wanted a second opinion they brought my dog out with a cone and a wrap around his ear where his breathing was struggling! (it was way too tight around his neck.) I asked them why they put the cone on him he cant reach his ear and why the wrap they said that he will need the cone for surgery they did not bother to ask if I already had a cone ( which I did), and I did not approve the surgery I immediately took off the wrap and the cone then they proceeded to charge me an extra $60 I asked why The extra $60 charge they told me it was for the cone and the wrap.. I asked if they ever cleaned out his ear before they wrapped it and they never cleaned the ear out because they did not want to have it wet! Well if thats the case why did they wrap it that keeps the ear moist? So my bill went from $100 to 160 after I mentioned the second opinion! That same day I took my dog to a different vet which was my foster dogs vet he said he would have stitched it said the ear looks OK to let it heal on its own, within four days the ear healed beautiful... Im very disappointed in Montecito Animal Hospital I used to love them my dog had surgery there did a great job in the past .. They put my cat down there did a wonderful job but every time I go in there its a new doctor now. My new vet requested my dogs paperwork and it took them twice to call still never got it so they had asked me to call them to finally get it Now instead of driving two minutes to my vet I drive 40 minutes but I would much rather drive 40 minutes and gets good service and not feel like Im getting ripped off!

I agree their doctors are good but this place reminds of another what I call corporate vet clinic i went to once or twice that run through and employ many doctors, none of whom I believe own the clinic To make a long story short they kept my dog overnight, tested and medicated him left and right, charged me $500 for what I later discovered on my own was a dietary issue which required a simple change in diet for my dog. Doctor never called me back with test results. A week later I had to call the clinic on my own to get those results for those unnecessary tests doctor had told me she would call me with in a few days . Lady at the pet food store ended up bringing my dog back to health after suggesting a change in diet; her sisters dog having had same symptoms once as mine was enjoying.

Dr. Lewis is my Bengal Cat Jazzs vet and his GMAH team rocks. They take total care of my boy, everything from his inoculations, surgery, boarding, and just recently grooming. I wanted my cat groomed and shaved because it is so hot and his shedding increased drastically. They took great care of him and he looks wonderful and is quite comfortable with his new shorter coat. I think we will keep this look going, I love this animal hospital and the team. They are awesome.

Dr. Lewis is the greatest Vet ever! The Staff is wonderful in every way possible. The other Vets in the office are incredible and caring .They treat my two little black Pugs like family. I have had some close calls with one of my Pugs and Dr. Lewis has ridden to the rescue on numerous occasions, When my old springer became too old to take in to the office he made house calls ! Who does that ? I cant say enough about Dr. Lewis, his staff and the beautifully kept facility that is Grand Montecito Veterinary Hospital. They make my pets healthy, happy and well cared for. Thank you for all the caring and love you have shown my pets .

The staff is very nice, love the animals. The one thing I have a problem with, is the lack of communication. My dog got the flu shot, a few times but only the first half. The staff failed to tell me the second half had to be given to my dog within a certain number of days otherwise it starts all over. Little more communication would be appreciated, especially when it costs money.

I love this place my animals always come out happy. They treat my animals as if they were their own. I will always be a loyal patient to them.

I have been taking my dog to Grand Montecito for over 5 years since he was a puppy and will never change vets. The employees are very friendly, walk in and get greeted with a smile. The doctors are great as well... I always recommend Grand Montecito to my friends who have pets when they are looking for new vet for their pet(s)....

I currently have a bonus dog in my care and I wanted to get her a bath and nail trim. I can admit her records may be a little confusing as they are from another country, but I dont think that excuses the nasty tone of Juliana, the clerk that unfortunately I was next in line for. Shes definitely not a people person in my opinion. I was finally put in a room so I could discuss the situation with a doctor because her and her condescending attitude was no help. After about 20 minutes waiting I stepped out of the room because I didnt plan on spending my day there. As Im waiting in the lobby the doctor finally comes out and I go back in the room to talk to her. This was my first experience with Dr. Bailey, and even if no resolution was met just her demeanor and tone was completely opposite than Juliana, you know, basically friendly. Not only that but she told me they had two euthanasias currently happening and only two doctors working. Had I been told that I would have been more understanding of being stuck in a room. As I left I ran into Robin, the office manager. Shes been there at least since I first became a client, 2010. Shes also always friendly and actually figured out the problem and corrected the record.Unfortunately, its probably my last visit there. Its not worth the drive anymore and my favorite doctor who I would recommend, Dr. Lewis has a very limited schedule. And honestly if the check-in staff is nasty whats the point?

I will never bring my dogs here again. $142 to board my dogs for one night. I called and they said $33 for one night, which is reasonable. Then I get there and there are things they charge for that are mandatory to have them boarded. Then they told me my dogs werent up to date and that he need all these shots. I agreed and then talked to my previous vet (6 months ago) and they told me he was up to date. I called back and they told me they would take care of it. I picked them up today and they changed me the same amount and told me they give the same shot more frequently. I will never go back to that place. Way to nickel and dime people and take advantage of someone when they have no time to find an alternative option! I cant imagine what they change someone for something substantial. Enjoy your extorted money from me because you wont get anymore from me ever again!

Dr. Lewis has been our veterinarian for the family pets for about 10 years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with their lives like I do him. Everyone from the front desk receptionists to the veterinarians in this animal hospital are kind loving people who care for animals with passion and empathy, for the animals and owners alike. Weve only been going to Grand Montecito for about 9 months, but this is our permanent vet! Prices are reasonable, theyre very understanding, everyone is kind, and they take great care of my girls. When it came time for one of my furbabies to cross the Rainbow Bridge, they were compassionate and caring. Despite the experience, I couldnt have asked for better care for either of us.

Grand Montecito Animal Clinic is the best I have ever been to. We prefer Dr. Lewis, but all the vets are very good. The staff is cheerful, helpful and always willing to take care of us. I would recommend them to everyone.
