Dr Martinez is thorough, informative, and has the best bedside manner. My only regret is that I didn’t use her for my veterinarian needs in the past. As of almost two days ago, my dog received a dental cleaning and, aside from being a little whiny, groggy and experiencing a bit of discomfort, he’s recovering perfectly. Thank you so much Dr. Martinez and staff for taking such great care of my Airman.

My puppy Summer and I have been going to VCA Blue Cross for nearly a year now since I first purchased her from the Petland in Boca park with which they are partnered. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The staff is entirely friendly from the people in reception to the veterinarians and all the supporting technicians in between. Theyve each treated summer like shes family and Ive had full confidence in their ability to take care of her. The treatments and visits are usually reasonably priced for this part of town and for the caliber of staff that they employ. Dr. Wiggers and Dr. Martinez are both highly recommended by both of us and we look forward to seeing them again throughout Summers life.

The Vet took time and interest into the exam and history of my 2fur babies. I appreciate that especially as they are getting older.

I was totally disappointed in the front desk. Our normal Vet was booked-out into the next week so I asked if another vet was available in that my dog was in a lot of pain. I was told someone would be available in 2 days and if I needed someone today that I should call another vet. End of conversion. P.S. and now 2 days later she is gone. End of conversion

Blue Cross has been our vet for many years, and continue to be a part of our family. They love our pets and much as we do. They always go the extra mile to not only provide top care, but answer questions, double check everything and make sure we are completely informed.

Worst service Ive had in a long time. Used to love this place and would make the 30 minute drive just to continue going here.I watched the employees stand outside car doors forcing dogs to stand on the asphalt in 100+ degree weather. The individual we worked with lied to us, then went inside and told the Dr we agreed to things we hadnt. When the idividual brought the dog out and we asked for his name he was extremely disrespectful and made my girl cry.I called inside to get the guys name and learned that the manager was out for the rest of the week. I left a voicemail with the manager last Wednesday and still havent received a call back.Went back on Friday to pick up the dogs medication and was informed that they returned it to stock even though we stayed we would be there Friday to get it. Had to wait an hour to get the mess.We will not be returning to this business.

VCA recently saved us by squeezing us in to process our dogs USDA travel check in a highly time-sensitive situation. Everyone there from the receptionists, to veterinary assistants, and veterinarian were all very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the vets kind and gentle manner with our dog, and Amanda really went out of her way to get the USDA travel papers processed expediently. Thanks to VCA, our travel plans can get underway without any stress. Definitely highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone in the area!!

My cat Candy is taken such good care of by all the doctors. The staff is always so very friendly and greet you with a smile upon entering the hospital. I cant imagine going to a different vet. Candy loves Dr Sue.

They are amazing here! My dog has been sick and they took him as soon as they can it once I got there I got helped right away! They are very well organized and they go that extra mile to help you and your dog! Very Nice always clean and very much would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We bought our puppy from Petland, and this is the Vet that we had to go to, to honor the warranty. Unfortunately our puppy developed kennel cough and has needed breathing treatments, but the Blue Cross staff has been extremely supportive and helpful during the entire process. The office is clean, puppy friendly, and all around inviting. Unfortunately we live too far away and already have a family Vet, to continue coming here, but I highly recommend this office based on my personal experience. Thank you to the entire staff at Blue Cross for taking such good care of our baby girl Daisy! We appreciate you!

Dr Wiggers loves our dogs like we love them. We’ve been very happy with Blue Cross. Our five year old golden had TPLO surgery at Blue Cross. It was affordable and done very well. She is thriving. The front desk staff is exceptional as well. They called us to get an earlier appointment and are easy to talk to. Excellent customer service.

We love Blue Cross Animal Hospital so much we drive from Pahrump to bring our dogs to see Dr. Tack. All the caregivers at BCAH are fantastic and I would recommend any one of them highly. There is also a tech there named Johnny who is so amazing with animals as well. Every single staff member is kind, caring, and terrific.

I Love this place! They know my dogs by name when we call or come in... they treat them so well and go above and beyond whenever we come in for reasons more than a regular check up.. (one of the fur kids has Addison’s disease so we have to keep a close eye on him) .. I’ll never switch vets.

I took our dog to a specialist for cherry eye In both of her eyes. His puppy manner and bed side manner was below average. He gave me 4 medications for $300 and gave me an estimate for $5k for this eye procedure. I knew from previous that Dr. Martinez was veryGood with bulldogs so I started to search where she was practicing. I found her here and I left her a VM. She personally called me back on the weekend, I explained situation and she told me to come in the next day for a exam. After exam, she gave me the estimate for the exact same surgery and it was a third of the price. She’s done many of these surgeries and was so good with our dog. The staff was friendly and place was clean.

I cant understand when people say they love animals and become vets to help them, when it seems the most important thing for them is money. Our cat was dying and in horrible pain, they didnt bother to give her anything for pain but they made sure to charge the oxygen they gave her and the blood test they ran even though she was about to die. Seriously??? Have some compassion if you love animals!!! Then, they showed us the list with prices to choose from for handling her death and had even decency to put $238 cost there to get your cats ashes back but forgot to mention that it would be a group cremation (which you see only once you pay the bill)- EXCUSE ME, we would be paying for whose ashes exactly? Pile of dust of who knows how many cats?? This is so heartless -I dont know what to say...so much about animal lovers. Everything is about MONEY, MONEY and if you dont have money, your pet obviously doesnt deserve to live. It is sad we live in such a careless world where people pretend to care- Dont forget, you are just another customer and your pet is just another bag of money for them!!!!

It took four years to find a vet we trusted and Blue Cross Animal Hospital is awesome. Sue Wiggars is a trusted and dedicated doctor who treats my fur-babies with love and kindness. Its a bit of a drive but definitely worth the effort.

I recently purchased a puppy from petland located in boca park and was told that I have 5 days from purchase date to take my puppy in to give a stool sample to check for Parasites and that the office visit and stool sample is covered by petland if done within the first 5 days. Once given information I made my appointment and went in, the reception desk was pleasant and when I went into the exam room I met someone who I believe would be considered a nurse assistant who then asked me for my large packet which held all puppy information which was given to me from petland which I then provided. About 5 minutes later Dr. Bora walked in who at first seemed pleasant, we chatted a bit and then I asked when my puppy would be due for her second set of shots. Dr. Bora then informed me that she looked over paperwork and that my Puppy received her first set of shots at 6 weeks and she doesn’t agree with that, she then said she wanted to start the shot process over. At this point my puppy is 9 weeks and I did not agree! After her telling me all the things that could happen if I didn’t follow her recommended schedule naturally I freaked and told her that’s fine. Dr. Bora then asked me if she could take my puppy in the back to give her the shots and I said no I would like to hold her while she’s given them. I’ve have many dogs I’ve never had them taken to the back to be given shots. Dr Bora started to show her frustrations and began to show handle my puppy with less “soft” care while “ examining”. Dr. Bora then walked to the back to get the “vaccines” and when she came in she brought a huge tablespoon of cream cheese for my puppy to eat while she was giving her, her vaccines! At first I didn’t realize what it even was and without my consent or any attempt to give me info on what my pet was ingesting my puppy began to lick the cream cheese. My puppy was 9 weeks old at the time and weighed 2lbs! I was in extreme disbelief and beyond infuriated. I then sarcastically asked her so does that mean I can give my dog a puppaChino from Starbucks?where she replied well, see how she responds to the cream cheese and if she’s fine then sure you can give her some. to say the least I was beside myself at that point but held it together! VCA holds a strong name for trust and comfort but with doctors like that it’s extremely concerning to think what goes on behind closed doors with our pets when we aren’t around. Petland should rethink there contract with VCA blue cross animal Hospital!

Have taken both my dogs to see Dr. Sue Wiggers. She is very caring and highly knowledgeable. All of the staff are very polite and do their best to be accommodating if they need to squeeze you in on a busy day. I highly recommend Blue Cross Animal Hospital and will continue to bring my dogs there in the future.

Blue Cross Animal Hospital is a very good place and Im grateful for the care they give my Bella and my Buddy. Dr. Borba is amazing as is Dr. Coats and Dr. Wiggers.Thats the good news - now the bad news. Wait times continue to be a problem here - the last few times I have had to wait nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment. They apologized yesterday as there were walk-ins and emergency situations along with being a little short-staffed, but this has been systemic of late at Blue Cross Animal Hospital. They have to work on being more punctual.That said - have no plans to stop going there because I know my pets are receiving first class care.

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is very clean and modern.Dr. Borba provided excellent care for our new puppy. Follow up instructions and lab reporting was incredibly thorough. I’ve only been there once so far but am very impressed.

When our pets have needed specialized care they have not hesitated to send us to Neurologists and Eye Specialists and have been involved in coordinating our pets care. The staff were kind and efficient, the vet himself was rather rude and just gave my dog a shot of medication without informing me prior. He explained after Id just prefer knowing whats happening before hand. He didnt listen to my concerns and all around ignored anything I had to say or ask.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences on the past 3 routine visits for my new puppy Milo. Dr. Wiggers is so caring and professional and clearly loves what she does. The front desk staff are extremely nice and very detailed. The wellbeing follow up calls the next day after a shot is given is a nice touch :) Although the location is completely at opposite ends of the valley to where I live and there are a dozen others to choose from closer to me, I will continue to bring Milo to this location for anything routine because of the services received.

I have been taking my dog and 2 cats to Blue Cross Animal Hospital for over 10 years. I utilize the grooming and boarding also. Dr. Tack is awesome, as are Dr. Lewis and the entire staff. I wouldnt take my 13 year old dog anywhere else. She has congestive heart failure but thanks to their expert medical help, she is doing great! My animals are my family and I trust this facility and the staff there implicitly.

Dr. Wiggers has been our vet in Las Vegas since we moved here and understands how big a part of our family our dog is. She takes such good care of this dog and all of the staff are sweet and caring and knowledgeable about animals and our family feels like Sophie (the dog) gets the really best care there!!

Our 2 year old Cat named Lil Bear (shes a girl), was having some digestion trouble a few weeks ago and starting defecating outside of the litter box. I made an appointment with Julie an appointment manager and she worked so fast to get me in to see a doctor. I met Dr. Tack for the first time and he took his time looking at her to see if she had any abnormalities with her stomach. It was such an amazing experience. Prior to Lil Bears visit, we have brought our boy cat in for vaccinations and it was also a fantastic experience. We LOVE this vet and would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for efficient, fast and reliable care for their furry babies. Its the only place I trust my furry kids with. :)

I’ve been taking my cats to them for well over 10 years. I like all the veterinarians and especially Dr. Wiggers. She is very honest and when I had to put my elderly cat Sheba to sleep whose kidneys were failing, I really appreciated her being up front with me as to my cat’s poor prognosis as opposed to telling me what I wanted to hear. Her candor and throughfulness made the decision much easier. On a happier note, all my acts have always gotten the care and treatment they need. The diagnoses have always been accurate and the treatments have always been effective. Great front desk staff too!!!

We have only had good experiences with Blue Cross Animal Hospital... Dr. Wiggers is our Vet but we have seen most of the Drs in the office and you just cant go wrong with any of them. The Techs are great and the front office is equally as good!

This office is the best I’ve been to in this town. I’ve tried many other practices, and I love BCAH. I see Dr. Wiggers, and I love her. Very professional and truly care about your animal. I’m impressed with how clean this office is. Everyone so far has been very friendly and supportive. They saved my 15 year old Persian cats life, with out draining the bank account. They showed me how to give her sub-Q injections at home. I highly recommend them. So far, I’m very pleased with this place.

I have gone to Blue Cross since I moved to Las Vegas nine years ago....the staff is so welcoming and you can get pet food, grooming and vet services all in one place. ....also they have great hours to get in to make an appointment....I will highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Just moved to Las Vegas in April and Blue Cross was recommended by some people we met at the dog park. We dont live real close but she said it was worth the 20 minute drive. We had a problem over Memorial Day weekend and called they said come right over. They were great, patient and very good. The doctor even called us at home on Sunday to see how he was. Have had to go there twice now and just love these people. I would highly recommend them.

Even though I made the biggest mistake by coming in for my appointment a half hour early, they accommodated me and got me and my pooch in to see a doctor because I was concerned about a lump on her chest. Turned out it was nothing.

I have used Blue Cross ANimal Hospital and Dr. Daivd Tack for 18 years and would not use anyone else but the Doctors at Blue Cross. They are always professional and handle your animal with care and consideration. Their care and knowledge is the best I have found five states. My dogs just love to go there they are so happy to see everyone. I never recommend any one else and send all my friends over there.

Been bringing my dogs here for over 4 yrs for medical, grooming and occasional boarding, they have been incredibly professional. Fees are very reasonable, not like the place I left that wanted to give my dogs every shot and drug under the sun. I have a 2 year old Golden who Ive brought here since a puppy. Now I have a 6 month old Golden as well. Theyve seen every doctor here because, to me, they are all equally outstanding. We are moving to Florida and it will be difficult to find any that can compare.

In 2004 I moved to Summerlin along with my aging greyhound and a greyhound puppy. One Sunday morning my greyhound Sir Drake could not get up to go out to go potty. When I tried to help lift him up he gave a look that said “ please don’t take my dignity”. I called the vet I had been using for many years and their office was closed. My room mate Mike came in to helpSir Drake and when I told him Drakes vet was closed he to,d me he saw a new vets office nearby and suggested we check it out. We drove over to Blue Cross Animal Hospital. The front office staff was very kind. They put us in an exam room and shortly after Dr David Tack came in to talk to us. I explained that Sir Drake was my 12 year old greyhound and that he had Been diagnosed with DM several months ago. I told him about the sad look Sir Drake gave me and he agreed to come out to the house and help Sir Drake cross the Rainbow Bridge. DrDavid Tack arrived and each member of my family said good bye. Dr Tack gently euthanized my greyhound. After wards he looked out one of my. Backyard window and saw Sir Bentley my greyhound puppy. After Dr Tack and Sir Drake left. I got to thinking. This puppy had had diarrhea since I adopted him. The following day I took Sir Bentley to Blue Cross Animal Hospital and asked him “ if it was normal for greyhound puppies to have the runs”. He said no he then asked where Sir Bentley was from. When I said Colorado. He told me giardiasis was very common. He then tested Sir Bentley and the test came back positive. Sir Bentley was put on medication and the next test came back negative . We still had a diahrea issue Dr Tack consulted with several veterinary specialists across the country. We then decided to scope Sir Bentley and that is when Dr Tack saw thatSir Bentley had inflammatory Bowel Disease. After consulting with several specialists we had a treatment plan and Sir Bentley was was able to eat and gain weight. Sir Bentley lived a very healthy 12 years When I think of the three other veterinary hospitals I had boarded Sir Bentley and that none of them even noticed that this greyhound puppy had the runs it makes me so glad that I found Dr David Tack and Blue Cross Animal Hospital. I highly recommend Dr David Tack and Blue Cross Animal Hospital. I don’t believe Sir Bentley would have lived that long had I not found Dr Tack. My current greyhound and several of my subsequent greyhounds since Sir Bentley were well treated at Blue Cross. Even the new veterinarians. Dr Coats and Dr Wiggers have been awesome.

Fantastic - We have used Dr. Wiggers for years and she is knowledgeable, understanding, kind and patient. She has always been available for an emergency appointments, without question. Just recently we brought our dogs over to Hong Kong, which required pages and pages of paperwork. She had seen it all, done it all and made the process so easy for us. She is great with all size dogs, from our St. Bernards down to a noisy little rat terrier. We recommend Blue Cross Animal Hospital wholeheartedly...and look forward to getting back to Las Vegas with our herd so they can share dim sum cookies with the staff.

I am very particular about who my Italian Greyhounds see. I found this vet after a bad experience with another and have not looked back since! Dr Dow and Dr Wiggers are highly recommended for cats and Italian Greyhounds. One of my IGs hates vets and has to be muzzled but Dr Wiggers managed to examine him without the muzzle.Clean, friendly and they always remember me!
