Good and friendly location, I was 1.5 hours after my reservation due to a late plane but it was still valid which was nice. You do have to take a shuttle to a shuttle to get to the location, but knowing that going in I was able to figure it out fairly quickly. All airports that make you shuttle to the rental car lot are less desirable anyway, so not like it was a perfect situation from the start. Would be 5 stars but Fox cars typically are pretty base/high mileage (hence the cheaper price to the consumer) - I had no idea cars as bad as the Mitsubishi Outlander were still made and available to the general public, but I found out.
So when I booked Fox I booked through airportrentals.com, I also purchased insurance immediately through the site for $39 for the 3 days I would have the car…. First it’s says Fox is at the airport it is not it is offsite and not at the airport rentals you have to take another shuttle from the car rental airport site to Fox which Fox charges you $6 for through your reservation. I didn’t ask to be shuttled that should be a free service since you are advertising you are at the airport. So you take shuttle bus from airport to airport rentals (6min) then you have to take Fox shuttle from there to Fix (another 6min) plus wait time. 🙄Next the shuttle had no lights and the air conditioning barley spat on you! It’s 109 degrees in Vegas and to have to pay for the shuttle your air should be on blast!Next I get to Fox and she said I can’t use the insurance because they don’t take 3rd party insurance hmmmm then don’t list yourself on 3rd party sites!!! I have to pay more money for insurance on site due to this! And then had to call the 3rd party to get a refund which they did.Now we are done with the process and have to get the car, selection was minimum and car wasn’t even washed. At this point I didn’t care and just wanted to get to my hotel.Best part about this experience was the drop off. Smooth and simple.Y’all really need to do better period.
I want to give a big kudos to the customer service department. I had a bad experience at the time renting my car. I am the type that will try and talk to the company first before putting out bad reviews. I have to say Fox Rent A Car came through big time. Once I contacted their customer service department it was less than 24 hour and they gave me a great solution. They were very kind and courteous and went above and beyond. Thank You
The women who helped me at Fox Rental was very nice and the service was quick. I arrived to Las Vegas at 8:30pm and still had a five hour drive into Arizona. I was concerned this process would take some time but it was as quick and efficient as it could be. The only thing customers should note is that you must take two shuttles from the airport to get to Fox. This I did not think was an issue but wanted to let other know so that they could be prepared.
Absolutely horrible! First of all, it’s not even at the Las Vegas airport, as it leads you to believe. We had to take a shuttle to the airport rental places then another shuttle from there to the actual Fox rental place which was over five miles away. The place looked rundown, dirty, & our feet were sticking to the floor. Apparently, they couldn’t even afford AC because a giant fan was on with the doors open, which did nothing to help the Las Vegas heat. The clerk was behind plexiglass with a mask on, a tv was blaring, plus the fan = we could barely hear a word she was saying! I went through the Hopper app, paid a deposit and when we went to pick up the car they wanted almost double what my total was supposed to be! A lot of hidden fees. They don’t accept debit cards and we were weren’t allowed to use two different credit cards to split up the balance. What does it matter as long as they’re getting their money??? My husband and I said to hang on a sec while we discussed with each other what to do and just as we got done, she started helping someone else, right in the middle of our transaction!!! Needless to say, we said forget it, went back to the airport car rentals and rented from a well-known rental company for much less without even having a reservation! Never again!
Really enjoyed my rental with Fox this time. They two blocks from my resort which was super convenient. The desk staff was super friendly and if youre on the off days of the week, Not Fri/Sat you can likely get a discount or upgrade due to slow business. They also had their own airport shuttle which was CLUTCH when we caught our redeye flight out of town. Definitely would recommend.
This was going to be a 5-star review until the return process and dishonest business practices ruined it. Today, they wrongly charged us for us for an extra day and added some other fees.When we returned the car no one was around to check us out. My wife and I took all of our luggage inside where they told us that we could just leave. I didnt like that so I went back to the car and flagged a worker down. He said that theres nothing to do and we were good to go.Thankfully I have video proof of the initial checkout, condition of the car and the return. An extra 40% is terrible, any extra charge is terrible. Its sad that you have to make sure people keep their word. Now I have to waste time dealing with this intentionally dishonest company.The car was in pretty bad condition and dirty, I was going to excuse that for the original fee, but now I see how so many get scammed by these people.
Dont rent here. It is a second 8 mile shuttle ride AFTER you get to airport car rental center. Bus doesnt run frequently at all. Didnt take credit card with funds available on it and tried to make me pay $450 deposit.Also be aware they will not accept debit cards AT ALL. Not worth the supposed savings of going off site. Stay with the better companies.
Rental car was great. Note: not on airport property, so give yourself an extra half hour or more to get to airport. Shuttle from Fox goes to main rental return, and then you take a 2nd shuttle to airport.
I made a reservation with this company through T-mobile travel and because I was an hour late picking up the vehicle my reservation was canceled. The manager at Fox did not offer ANY help with my issue even though it was happening at 2:00am in the morning and it was due to my flight being delayed. I showed him the reservation on my phone and he said that he could reserve a vehicle for me as a walk up BUT it would be a lot more expensive.He did not offer me the same price or to call and figure out what happened. Nothing!!Don’t deal with this company!!! They are shady and crooks!!!We ended up going to Enterprise and they were VERY helpful!!!
Even though at first the price seems low, but after you look at the invoice, you will see that they charged you a lot more than they should, after you returned the car.Beware of their tactics, They tell you if they take care of gas it will be cheaper, like $3.75 but they charge you over $4 and way more than the cars empty tank takes. To me its just a legal steal since you sign for it..Also be careful when picking up the car or SUV, since they tell you the number of section to go to, but they jump in front of you when you pick it up & make you return what you picked because they have a cone pylon to separate them, like you know what they think!
They are a shady outfit. I was charged $132 for gas when I returned the car full. I filled it with the gas station across the street from just minutes before it was returned. They basically charged my deposit in gas. The first car I got was malfunctioning so they should be paying me for the gas it took me to return it. No one will answer their phones. Do not rent from them!
Was Quick and efficient!!!! John was TOPS!!! Our flight was changed and NO PROBLEM THERE! It was handled. I was a little skeptical because even after arriving we had to do an additional shuttle to their rent a car which was Not at the usual McCarrin Airport Rent a car so that was a little annoying but Quick after arriving and out the door!! Waited an hour to check in and they wouldn’t honor our reservation through Priceline because the credit card owner has to also be the “driver”. We tried to switch the driver to the owner of the credit card and they wouldn’t allow it. We had to create a whole new rental car reservation and it delayed our trip. Bathrooms available but they need updates and some deep cleaning. I understand restrooms can only be as clean as the last person, but they look like they haven’t been cleaned for quite some time. Many windows open for check in but only three people working the windows. Drop off was much easier.
I wish I would have read the reviews prior to renting. The wait was over an hour long and they not located at the airport. Once I was going through the process, the sales rep blatantly lied to me that additional insurance was mandated by state of Nevada after I showed her proof of my insurance had rental car coverage. The deposit was $200 with a major credit card. I will never use this rental agency again.
Rented a SUV for 8 days. Pretty expensive once you add the insurance.Pros: Got in and out within 20 minutes with a car. Car ran good. AC and Bluetooth worked. Nice guy at the front desk. Unlimited mileageCons: SUV had extremely high mileage for a rental (81k). SUV and at least 20 noteworthy damages. (This is why I purchased the insurance) pretty positive these cars are rented to locals who trash them. I would purchase the insurance just to avoid the haggle.
So lets start with my reservation #(WFXP07E38A) so that this company knows that this is a legitimate review.By far the absolute worst service and vehicles from any car rental company I have every used. I rarely leave reviews but this company definitely deserves this one. I chose them because the rental was about 20% cheaper than other companies. That was a mistake. I shouldve paid the extra money and went with a reputable company.To start, the rental process when I arrived at their location was a hassle. Passing me from person to person. The service level is well below subpar. The employees definitely dont want to be there and arent the friendliest which is surprising for Las Vegas, the home of hospitality. Later that day I discovered that the vehicle I rented had a burnt out headlight. So the following day, after being on the phone with their customer service for 45 minutes, I was told to go back to the location to get a different vehicle. Back at the location, the gentleman behind the counter was less than happy to swap out the vehicle. Regardless of whichever vehicle you pick, IT WILL BE DIRTY. Almost every vehicle has stained seats, dirty carperts, etc, etc. The center console on the one I got was sticky from what I assume to be a spilled drink from the previous renter (see photo).When returning the vehicle, I asked the person checking in the rental car returns if I could have someone drive in to the lot so I can transfer luggage over, he said yes.Now for the exit, in my personal vehicle, the attendant at the exit gate greets me with disgust because Im in my personal vehicle trying to leave after I asked and was told by an employee that I could do this. The gate attendant legitimately yells at me because NO PERSONAL VEHICLES ALLOWED. I inform him that I asked before entering and was told yes, yet he continues to be extremely rude, continuing to yell at me. Absolutely trash service.Needless to say, I refuse to ever rent from them again regardless of location or city. Absolutely the worst service I have received in any Las Vegas business. Im surprised theyre honestly still around. I guess you get what you pay for.
Nice cheap place to get a rental. Only down side was it was off site from the airport and main car rental building. So two shuttles there and back from airport.Car is super clean. Staff is extremely friendly. Will rent again next visit.Still 5 stars !!!!
I would never use this company again. It was so stressful. First of all, when you pay online in advance, that doesn’t include taxes so be prepared for the price to jump up after you arrive to pick up the car. But if you don’t like the price, too bad because the amount you paid online isn’t refundable. So you’re stuck paying the higher amount or losing all your money you paid in advance. Also they charged us $20 per day for insurance we didn’t ask for, and only after days of calling and emailing and eventually complaining in person was this issue resolved for us. They told us they had a special price for gas so we prepaid for the gas, but they actually lied about the price per gallon and we paid more than expected. The car itself had some issues I’m not going to go into here, but it added to the stress. They also said we would have to pay a late fee if the car was even 1 minute late to be returned so we had to arrive extra early to be sure. Furthermore, renters should be aware that it takes two shuttles from the airport, so it’ll be about 30 minutes to get to the airport afterwards. I’m giving two stars instead of one only because they did eventually listen and solve our issues with the insurance. But still, never again.
DO NOT give this business the benefit of the doubt. That’s what I did and I had to pay for it. I booked and pre-paid through Expedia. Roughly a week before my trip I was looking at the reviews for the place and saw they were terrible. I immediately felt that I had made the wrong decision with choosing Fox, and I wish I had read them sooner. I read that the cars were dirty, poorly managed, and that individuals were receiving huge unknown charges without explanation. Because I prepaid I could not cancel my reservation- my mistake, oh well. To ease some of the stress I researched their website and saw that yes- if you use a debit card for a deposit it was $400 extra, if you are a local resident it is extra money. This did not apply to me so I felt better and I understood why there were some poor reviews so I thought I would be ok. Our flight was delayed an hour and I was worried that our car was going to be cancelled. I tried to call to alert them I was going to be late and no one was available to take my call. Luckily, things timed out perfectly where we got there 1 minute before the grace period ended. Yes, you have to take TWO shuttles to get to this company. Wasn’t a big deal to me. It was 11pm and only two people were working so things were slow, which was another thing I read about so I was prepared. We were told to choose any car out of lot 2- there was only one car so we essentially didn’t have any other options. For 5/7 days of our rental, the car was adequate. If you drove over 65mph the entire car and wheel shook. Eventually on the 5th day our tire blew on the side of the highway, in 100 degree weather in the middle of the desert. With the tire off, you can see the tires are balding, are way over due for change, most likely hasn’t been rotated, the rim was bent, and the car was out of alignment. I called roadside and they instructed us to change the tire ourselves with the spare. Not once asked if we needed assistance. I was instructed to go straight to the rental car company and that I would not be charged an early drop of fee. I decided that since I was originally dropping the car off within 24 hours anyways it would be the easiest and most convenient to just get rid of the car then and there. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk she had no idea what had happened, didn’t seem to care about the issue, NEVER apologized, NEVER asked how she could make it right. Simply said they can’t refund me because I prepaid through Expedia. Which is fine, I understand the policy. However, no effort was made to make us feel better about our renting experience. As a first time car renter, I am extremely disappointed and will never be booking with Fox again. I should not be held responsible for ensuring there are adequate tires on a car. I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, and if you are the same way, I encourage you to stay away from Fox.
Not too bad for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not enjoy waiting in the 109f sun to catch a second shuttle, but that is my only complaint. The price was very competitive.
I don’t mind taking a shuttle from the airport to the car rental place but The fact that we did not know ahead of time that when you get to the Las Vegas airport car rental area, you have to take a shuttle to Fox rentals. I had no idea that it would take over 45 minutes to do the paperwork. I do not remember signing up for a compact car which I never do but at 10 PM Vegas time I was totally exhausted. The lady that took care of my paperwork was nice but not overly pleasant. We were informed that all of their cars are non-smoking and yet our car smelled like cigarettes. After we drove away because we did not see it because it was done o’clock at night, there were footprints on the windshield where a passenger had ridden before us. Their windows were all dirty even though the inside of the car looked clean. I was not impressed in any way and neither was my husband. I commented to the guy that checked us out from the actual parking lot and I told him about the one car having a big dent in it and his comment was well that always happens with rentals. OK then explain to me why our rental car had tape marks on it.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! You would need to take the McCarran shuttle and then another shuttle from there. Then wait in line for nearly an hour just to get your car! The inefficiency of this place is utterly ridiculous! Pay the $30-$40 extra to go to other rental companies at the McCarran RAC to save you the headache and hassle!
Never again. Ive rented from all the majors and wont go near Fox again. Will be disputing charges. We always rent through an association which never charges for spouse additional driver and price was quoted as such. However the Fox counter rep said she never heard of that and Fox ALWAYS charges for an additional driver. Also, the shuttle situation at Las Vegas McCarran airport is abysmal with a forty minute wait time, then when you get to the rental car center you must wait for the Fox shuttle. To avoid the reverse experience I returned the car early and took an Uber. Guess what they charge a penalty for early return.

I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews but I had a wonderful rental experience with Fox rental Las Vegas. Upon arrival at LAS we took the standard shuttle to rental facility. From there we hopped on the Fox shuttle at station #4 after only waiting 5-7 minutes. A quick ride to the Fox facility and about 20-25 minutes to get to counter and get my keys. We pre reserved a jeep Wrangler through Expedia and was happy with the 2021 Wrangler with only 10k miles on it. We prepaid for final fill up and brought it back on empty 11 days later. Drop off was swift and easy and the shuttle back to rental facility was quick. My $150 deposit was credited back to my card within 24hrs. Overall, a wonderful rental experience!! Will be back next trip!
Edit: Customer Service was very helpful and refunded some of my money.Horrible experience all around.Fox didnt have our car for us when we arrived so because of their incompetence we were forced to pay for an upgrade.Fox also forced us to buy insurance because apparently our car insurance wasnt good enough for them.Do NOT rent from Fox Rent A Car. They will charge you way more than other car rental agencies.
So if you’re local and trying to rent a car from this company you need to give a deposit of $500? Wow … plus insurance plus this and that she told me I owe her $980 . When online it was saying $340. Plus she was kind of rude.
We rented an SUV. They did not disclose that they were be off-site. It was partially clean and it drove rough.The covering for one of back seat buckles were off. The light dome looked like it wanted to come down. The radio was controlled only on the steering wheel. The transportation from there to the airport bus depot felt like hot hell (though the drivers were nice). The guy at the desk was trying to sale gas lying that they had the cheapest gas at $7.99. Gas in Vegas at a regular gas station was $4 and something. The guy also tried selling insurance that we already had.
Too much surprise charges! The people in front desk will not provide any available information about price. You will surprise how much you get charged for it after you return the car. But luckily they had very nice and professional billing department. The girl Francis helped a lot on the bill.

They wouldn’t swipe my debit card for the amount and check this out, if there’s a malfunction swiping your credit card, better have back up because you can’t swipe that same credit card twice. 🙃 My husband and I planned for two months to rent a jeep here and because I had an error with my credit card the first time I couldn’t swipe it again and the jeep couldn’t be rented via my VISA. The worker didn’t care, she didn’t swipe my visa for the amount (we even offered to pay $1,000 for it) so we could get what we desired anywho we had to settle for a soccer mom SUV. Y’all RUN and don’t look back unless y’all are prepared!!!!!
I was so wary renting from here but I had a decent experience, the car i picked had an issue so they gave me a free upgrade, cant complain.Be prepared for long waits!!!! They have only 2 people working the counters and long lines! Avg wait time of an hour! If you cant afford to waste time while picking up your car, do not rent from here!
I know they have ton of bad of reviews but my experience was very straightforward! I had a very late flight, came in at 3am book the car rental literally a hour before landing through a third party website, got the rental car with no problem! Entire purchasing process was seemless! No issues at ALL! IMPORTANT!!! Fox rental is NOT located at the airport, you do have to take two shuttles to get to the rental place. You drop the rental car back to the rental place and will have to do the same process again when returning for your flight! Sounds like a lot but its literally not a deal breaker especially for the price point!!

Price is way higher then is shown online virtually the same price as big name places. Car was dirty. You need to take 2 shuttles with the second taking 30 minutes just to pick you up. Do yourself a favor and book with one of the big name places and save the hassle.
They have cars but be careful of their condition.
They dont take debit, have alot of hidden fees, and charges you out of this world for security deposit like 3 or 4 times what youre paying for the rental which you dont get back until you drop off the car. I highly recommend you Do not bother with this company

This is the ghetto of ghetto car rentals.... ALL the cars(mid SUV)were filthy no cleaning what-so-ever. We searched the LOT for a decent car to rent, had the nerve to charge an upgrade fee and at the end of it all the cost was darn near double what was quoted. High deposit amount(500...+THE RENTAL AMT) NEVER AGAIN..... I thought I was getting a good deal because it was a decent price for last min rental on a holiday, but I ended up paying more than I would hv at Enterprise who even increased their prices!! Ridiculous!!
If I could give negative stars I would. We rented a car through them and got a flat tire (it happens). Although, upon inspecting the tires we saw that the tread on them was below the safe levels of tread, and the customer service rep told us the tires hadnt been changed on the car since they got it in their possession! Lovely.. We went to put on the spare tire, so we could drive to meet a tow (we were at a campground) and THERE WERE NO TOOLS IN THE TRUNK (jack/tire iron). This debacle cost us a hotel stay and when we asked for a refund for the hotel they said sure! but then later said they could only refund half of our money. If you value your safety and dont want to be given the run around please just use a different company. Hell use uber instead because in the end itll be cheaper.
I was a little nervous to rent a car from this company because of reviews. I was also afraid that if I missed my pickup time due to delayed flight, my reservation would be canceled without my consent. But everything was perfect. There were no hidden or surprising surcharges. Overall it was a good experience!
You need to just prepare yourself ahead of time. You have to take 2 buses after your flight to get to the rental car. If you dont have a major CC they will place a $400 hold on your debit card. Off-site location meaning you have to take two shuttles, taking more time. The wait at the counter was minimal, but then the counter agent didnt even talk me through the options regarding fuel and insurance. I ended up prepaying for fuel (I think half a tank?) without even discussing this option. Then we hop in the van and the fuel tank isnt filled all the way, just shy of full. Now Ill have to watch to see if the credit card security charge is refunded. The vehicle performed well, and it was a fair price when all was said and done. Our friends also had an identical rental, and they had an extra tax on theirs that we didnt. Strange.
I would love to give this location a -5 stars if it were possible. The employee and manager Alex who assisted us today were both rude and ignorant! The employee was rude from the time we approached her counter. She refused to get a manager when we requested one. Eventually the manager came out. When we informed him of the employees rudeness he told us to shut up. Which of course started a confrontation. I will be leaving a review of this location on every social media website that I can find. My fault for even booking from such a classless rental car company.

Horrible experience was given a car that the charging point was not charging asked for an exchange they refused after I had flown hours am exhausted and I don’t know the place how does he expect me to navigate without a phone?and told me to pay more money? Painful experience do not recommend anyone to top it up it’s far and two transfers. That’s my last time there. The lady there was nice but the boss was too rude. Beware!
Vegas locals are expected to pay a $500 deposit PLUS the cost of the rental and they only accept credit cards. There is a reason their ratings are so low. Do NOT book through 3rd party such as Orbitz because you wont know about the extra fees until youre here in person to pick up the car. Spend a little extra and go somewhere, anywhere, else.
I think this entire company is a joke. Rented the car, chose what we wanted, and our card was charged $400 twice. We were told $400 was a refunded deposit and the other $400 was for the car. Okay, that’s fine. We go to pick up our car, it isn’t what we chose or paid for at all. After dropping off the car, my husband forgot his sunglasses so we called and they said they had them and would mail them out right away. He called to get an update on his glasses and our deposit and nobody has replied. He ended up leaving a review and we got a response. After emailing them the information they needed, they said they still didn’t have the reservation number when it was literally in the email above. Still have no word on our money or the glasses. They’re nothing less than thieves here. I would not recommend at all.
I had no idea this car rental agency was off site of the airport but their van was comfortable and prompt so at least we wasted no time in McCarran. Arriving in the middle of the night was inconvenient at best, as they had only two agents working, however they should have expected the line of customers that were to come. At any rate, we ended up with the best deal on the best vehicle for our trip, all because Theo worked out all of our details until we were perfectly happy! Dont worry, your time is worth the money you will save when you chose this rental agency.
They have terrible customer support and just start adding up random costs at the counter before you can get the keys. Will turn a $150 rental into $500 in the blink of an eye with no added features. Use a reputable and well known rental company instead.
Car rental experience was terrible. They added additional late fee for no reason even when I returned 3 hrs early. They were not clear what the charges were for. The manager says he had to research. Initially they tried to avoid having conversations and when I refused to give up for an hour, finally the manager removed it.Nothing looked right there.no clear answers. I don’t understand why there is estimated charges and then finally with no explanations an additional $40. They don’t know eitherGuess what, they keep discussing among themselves, kept moving from their chairs and always talking yo someone in AirPods during the rental process discussing what to be charged.Car was not washed and ac was not working properly. I had to go and request near the car wash.And the car had more than 50k miles on it.I would never recommended anyone here

After renting a car from Priceline and flying into Las Vegas we thought we were all set. Our flights arrived at 10:35 pm in Las Vegas. After taking the first shuttle from the airport to the Fox Rent A Car shuttle pickup we waited FOREVER for the shuttle to come when it finally did arrive they didnt have enough room for us so it was back to waiting. When we did finally get on the shuttle it was a very short drive to the Fox facility. When we arrived there were about 7 people ahead of us in line. It took 3.5 HOURS TO GET OUR RENTAL CAR FROM START TO FINISH.When we did finally get the car we had endless issues. The seats and windows didnt work. The headlight was out, it smelled so bad that we all felt nauseous. there was a hole in the ceiling and it was very dirty. Later the car started having other issues with acceleration and the windshield wipers.As if all of these issues were not bad enough they started charging my credit card for amounts even exceeding the deposit. They falsely claimed we had not filled the gas (We filled it right before returning the car.) Also they charge nearly 8$ per gallon for gas upon return. They charged us for returning it 2 HOURS EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED. This company is a scam. I was upset by the quality of the car, and the gross amount of wasted time to get it, but what really pushed me over the edge was the fraudulent charges. How dare they run a business this way. After sending them photo documentation of proof that the car was, indeed full when dropped off and that there is nothing in the policy about charges for returning the car 2 hours early they removed those charges. And offered me a coupon for 50$ off my next rental with them. WHAT THE HECK... I wouldnt rent from them again if it was free. They can keep their 50$ coupon and know that I plan to spread the word that they are a horrible company with terrible customer service that will steal money from your credit card. This company is a SCAM!!! BEWARE! I just wish there was something below 1 star.
It was an okay experience with a few unforseen bumps. The rental price was great. The counter person seemed distracted with her phone most of the time during our interaction. At one point I had to call out her name to ask what the next step was because she was so intent on her phone. When I tried to put the deposit down when picking up the car, my debit card rejected the request the first time. I called the bank and verified it was me and they were ready to accept it. Unfortunately I was told you cant use the same card for 24 hours according to their policy. I wasnt too happy about that since I disdain credit cards. Save and pay is fine my motto. I ended up using my company card to put the deposit down, and then paid with the same debit card when I returned the car. Also I tried to call to get questions answered about the fuel refill policy since there was a refueling charge on the bill before I returned the car, but there was a 30 minute wait to speak to someone and no clarifications on the website. When I returned the car, I found out it was a half tank refill charge. The car was at 1/4 tank, so I would have incurred charges at $7.50 a gallon, so I left and refilled it up to half. Next time I guess I have to do as much research as possible concerning the small print.
After taking two shuttle buses to the Fox lot, we waited over an hour in line to get our vehicle. They try a hard upsell on insurance and roadside assistance I declined everything but still ended up being charged over $100 more than the quote I received via Expedia for a weeks rental. The whole experience in their office had a third world feel to it.The car was fine, however.
I was charged twice and was unbelievably upset due to the nature of the counter service I received: horrible.However, as soon as I noticed the billing issue I called customer service and was helped by Mike Selim who absolutely saved the day and helped me through the billing issues. I cant thank him enough for being so kind and helpful - excellent customer service experience from Mike.
Great customer service. They actually reduced the cost from my original booking on Travelocity. Shuttles were quick, clean, and the drivers were super courteous and helpful. Returning the vehicle took all of 30 seconds. All around good experience. Would definitely rent from them again.
I was a bit nervous renting from Fox after reading some of the reviews. When I arrived, the computers were down so that added a lot of time to checkout. That is not something I fault them for since that happens to every company at some point. It took an hour to get to the counter. I rent a lot of cars so I am always prepared which makes checkout for me very fast. I was in my car in less than 5 minutes after I got to the counter. The car was not cleaned much but the car was also much cheaper than the other companies so I did not mind that. The car was in good condition otherwise. They also gave me another discount that I was not expecting so I got the car cheaper than I was expecting to pay. The return process was even faster than checkout. I would totally rent from them again at this location.

I would not recommend this rental company to anyone. It was friendly service, but when we went to get into the vehicle and opened the doors the overwhelming smell of weed came wafting out! And it was filthy. I checked 3 other vehicles and ran into either overwhelming cigarette smoke or weed smell. And all 3 were not clean in the slightest. We got lucky and found one that was “newer” and without a bad smell and was cleaner. But definitely not professional. It’s cheap for a reason. But for $500 bucks I’d at least want a clean vehicle. Spend the extra money and go with a different company!
Not too bad, but the transport bus had no A.C and there was limited types of cars most of them were the same but just a different color
After reading reviews for this place I was very weary, but didnt have a horrible experience. I still would never rent from this company again. Please take these reviews seriously and just spend your money elsewhere. It is NOT cheaper, even if it appears to be. I paid $460 when I booked and then had to pay another $400 in fees when I got to the place. They only had 1 car in the lot for us to choose from but the keys were locked inside, so the worker told us to pick a different car for a free upgrade. I knew I would be charged for the upgrade so we just waited it out until another car was ready. Overall, the car was nice and clean. Didnt smell of smoke or have any damage besides it being scratched up on the outside. Although, the backup camera wasnt installed properly so it didnt align right. There are 2 shuttles to get to and from this place, but I didnt have any issues with it. The shuttle driver was very friendly and considerate. The worker who checked me out, I believe her name was Tami, was also very friendly and helpful. She explained the prices and fees to me and told me that her suggestions for insurance or the refueling option arent mandatory, so she wasnt trying to scam me. The only thing that makes me angry about this place is that I paid an entire months rent for a subpar car that is not even worth half that. I also tried to extend my rental by 1 day online and their site said it would be $230 for ONE day. When I tried calling customer service the only way I could get through to an actual human instead of a recording that just directs you to the website and then hangs up was by repeatedly pressing 0. When I did get through, the worker was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I eventually extended the rental through him and it was magically $120 cheaper than online. My only suggestion is to just avoid this place because you never know what youre going to get AND its not any cheaper in the long run.
This was an easy rental and great customer service. The young lady that helped us was very nice and helped us get the car we reserved even though our flight was delayed a couple of hours. Deposit was kinda high but we’re getting it back so it wasn’t a big deal. Definitely will use fox again in the future.
First time renting a car and this whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth. I get there and im told its a 400$ deposit for debit card. Ok fine, i understand. I left and got my finances together and returned to finish the process. Another rep is now assisting me; he now mentions something about plane tickets? I told him i dont have any plane tickets. At this point he says “oh your a local, we cant accept a debit card” so why was I not told this by the previous rep. (Who was also the manager) asked if i can use the persons information who was with me, I was then told they can use their information, but not my debit card. Overall it was a waste of time because everything could have easily been avoided and handled appropriately. Went down the street to enterprise and had none of these issues AND paid way less for same size car. Save yourself the headache, time, and money… go elsewhere.
Best staff ever. Made it easy to rent. The only hickup was they didnt have it on record that I wanted to pay for the car ahead of time or prior to me getting there. But they are good and the staff is super friendly... I was able to still rent just had to pay when I showed up.
I went to pick up a car and found out that the tires were flat. The guy jumped into the car to check and told me to leave the car and pick another one. He made me leave the car right away and I forgot my prescription glasses in the hand glove compartment. I called the lost and found number many times and no one ever picks up. I left my contact details and no one is returning the call. I returned the car that I rented a week after and inquired about the glasses and no one was able to help. I need my prescription glasses!!
Got a good car 🚗 which got me everywhere I needed. I payed my bill and prepaid gas. Got a charge different from agreed. Be careful and ask them to clarify what you’ll be charged after if you bring car in excellent condition. Their customer service over the phone is non existent. I won’t rent again because of this.
AVOID THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY. I used my debit card and they put an extra $400 hold on it. So I started off our vacation with a $610 hold on my debit card. Also they wanted me to pay $24.95 a day for insurance which I didn’t get. The lady kept saying if you have an accident the entire time it’s in the shop you will pay full price. I went in their website and didn’t see that disclaimer. The lady was rude and the manager was rude and short. Even the people working outside said the employees were rude and said this place was rip off. So lesson learned read and understand reviews people put on here are true. Pay more for better service!
If I could do zero stars, I would. This is the Spirit Air of car rentals. Use Turo instead! I have rented cars from here at least four times and it was never like this.My family came in and rented a car. Asked if we can return car early....no. well you can, but you wont be refunded for any days that you dont use AND you will owe $20 per day early.Guys like, thats the way it is.Look at my reviews, I dont flame companies. I will never again allow anyone I care for spend a penny with this rotten a*s tourist trap of a organization.Dont use Fox rentals.
Fox Rental Cars is a sham of a company. They will gladly lie to you, take your money, all with a smile on their faces. Fox Rent a Car saw we were in a difficult situation, refused to transfer over my wifes reservation to me (HER HUSBAND), which resulted in us not being able to claim our reservation. The employee we worked with said we could call for a refund (WHICH WAS A LIE). Since I felt like I was being helped I decided to give Fox my business and rent another car under my name, a more expensive reservation for a lesser car (WE NOW HAVE TWO RESERVATIONS) believing the promise that we were going to be able to refund our first reservation (HUGE LIE). We were told to call Expedia for the refund since the reservation was through them, Expedia contacts Fox who refuses to refund our first reservation (CLAIMING THEY ARE GOING TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS AND AGREEMENTS). Well if I would have known this the night my wife, 1 year old daughter, and I were at Fox we would have not given them additional business by booking the second reservation. I refuse to use this company ever again, I will warn my friends and family who routinely travel to Vegas for business and vacation to avoid Fox, and I will leave terrible reviews wherever I can. This is unacceptable and by far the worst example of how to treat customers, especially customers who still booked a car and gave them business despite the already challenging and taxing process we had with our first registration. Fox Rent A Car will lie to their customers and take their money whenever possible, plain and simple.***UPDATE: I have tried three separate times to contact Fox Customer Support. First attempt the person I was emailing had their email deleted, second attempt no one responded, third attempt I am on day 4 without a response.*** This is insane.
Holy hell.... Im still waiting in line to get my rental car that I have a reservation for, two hours after my plane arrived. Between having to take two shuttles to get here, then they only have one person working (not wearing a mask).... Never again will I rent from Fox. I may have saved two hundred dollars on the rental, but I would have happily paid that much to be in and out from a reputable company.
Very friendly & laid back staff. Rented a Jeep for 3 days was very clean & full of fuel.Building & busses could use updates. But dont let those deter you from renting from them.
Honestly if I could give this company 0 stars for customer service I would. I needed to make an adjustment on my car rental from 10am to 5am the SAME day. They refused to help me and wanted me to cancel and create a new booking. This would have cost me an additional $243! Not only would the representative not help, but when I asked for a supervisor I was told there was not one available on the weekend. I called on a Friday, it was not the weekend. They refused to transfer me and the hung up on me. Save your time and pay a little more to deal with a company that believes in customer service. I have never been treated so poorly in my life.

It was a great deal and I was a bit concerned was reading other reviews. Super friendly people from the van driver the parking lot guard and the folks behind the counter. They were busy but efficient. Got a really nice car at a really nice price.

Our experience was great overall. Quick and easy getting to and from the airport (frequent shuttles). We booked through Kayak and needed to keep the car an extra day. There were no penalties since we booked through Kayak and the overall price was great!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They rented us a vehicle that had a bad wheel bearing and did not even try to make it better. They tried to offer us another vehicle that had a broken back up camera. In talking to another customer outside, we found out they tried to rent a car to her that had a cracked wind shield. Customer service was terrible. Never again. I don’t even know how this place is still in business.
I was nervous to rent from here after reading so many negative reviews. The two shuttle rides are very simple, waited 15 mins in line once at Fox, every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful (especially Theo!), the car I received had 4,500 miles and was an upgrade at no additional cost over what I reserved. Returning the car was just as simple. No issues!
Discount car rental. Not terrible, but be patient as you get what you pay for.This is NOT located at the airport. Youll need to take a shuttle from the airport to the consolidated car rental hub at the airport, and then another shuttle from there to Fox.The shuttle is easy and service was good,yhe driver was entertaining. The rental building is very bare and boring. The staff are friendly, but not lively.The cars all look good. Ours had a few dings in it, but that expected as were in the desert and its summertime, nothing is going to be perfect. The car was clean and smelled good, so no complaints.Be zen, be patient, and remember the savings you (hopefully) have from renting here 🚗 happy travels!
I had to wait in line well over an hour. The first car had a tire that kept losing pressure. I returned it, as I didn’t think it was my job to get the tire repaired. I was advised I should have gotten roadside assistance. Why would I need it if the cars are maintained. The next car had a battery key that had a very low battery, which I ended up replacing myself, since I didn’t want to make a second return. A couple of days later we headed to Red Rock Canyon, it was snowing and light rain. The wipers were shredded when I turned them on. I had to pull off the highway, and access a safe way to get off as there was quite a bit of Friday traffic.After 35 years of renting cars, I’ve never had any issues except here. The worst. Dangerous, ruined our plans for sightseeing.Anyplace but this. Not worth saving the money. Go anyplace else for a rental.

A little dingy. Hot. Definitely felt like I was at the beginning of a Hangover movie. But way cheaper than big name brand rental companies.
Fast and friendly service that make the check in/check out process seamless for visitors. And to be able to pick the car you want to drive based on the category you pick was a novel and welcome twist to renting a car!
Had a late arrival and took over an hour to get to the lot. But other than that, the process was smooth with getting the rental and dropping it off.
I made a reservation for a full size SUV few months ahead. Before heading to the location I curiously opened reviews here and really concerned.However my personal experience was nothing but perfect.This is Very clean, organized establishment.I took care of paperwork for less than 5 minutes. Tamie was genuine and friendly. Offered me a insurance but I kindly declined the offer since I had my own. No pushes there.Headed to the lot. Lot attendant who was an elderly gentleman offered me somewhat older dodge suv. I inspected it, the car was fairly high milage and smelled kinda odd. Asked for different options. Plenty other cars were available. Toyota 4 runner, Jeep, Hyundai santafe etc.I ended up getting Mitsubishi Outlander. Very new car with only 1500 miles on it. Drove the car to Grand Canyon and to California about 1200 miles. Absolutely no issues. Dropped it off smoothly.I cannt comment on shuttle service but generally my experience with this location was good and I’d rent from there again.
Was charged $270 in hidden fees after returning the car. The car itself wasnt in very good condition. The tires were bald, the breaks screached, and there was a hole in the floor by the gas/break pedals.
Had a decent experience renting from here. Prices were excellent but the car that I reserved wasn’t available when I arrived and the vehicle that I did end up getting wasn’t cleaned at all inside or out. I do want to add that I picked up my car pretty late in the night. It looked like the lady at the counter was the only one there so I can’t blame her for them not having adequate staff. You would think that they would have had someone there to clean the incoming cars. Not sure if they clean them in the morning or what but my car was pretty dirty inside. Besides that though, the car was great for the our vacation and returning it was a breeze. I will definitely consider renting from here in the future
