We are so excited to have had help from DeAnn with selling our house. She was able to get it sold so quickly and was very helpful with answering our questions. We appreciate Thurson realty and DeAnn.
We first dealt with DeAnn as the listing agent of the property that we liked. She accepted to be the transaction broker since we didn’t have any realtor to represent us. In addition, she helped us to understand the closing process and assisted with our inquiries timely. The closing was quick and uneventful. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, responsiveness, and an honest broker, especially if you are like us new to Las Cruces.Ed & L
Under contract the first day of listing ! DeAnn did a terrific job, Shell be listing my next property.
This guy left Us in with a 90 degree or higher temperature all summer!! Then refused to compensate a single month after he finally fixed it!! Very rude and inconsiderate. Had to buy my own window unit and still suffered through the summer only cool the living room. didnt use our upstairs at all and could not cook dinner for 3 months and he refuses to offer up any of retribution or recompense. some people are just very ugly from their very comfortable positions
This is a review about Farrell Thurston and his property in Molokai which is in response to a review that was left about me as a guest from his “housecleaner” Pat and Rich Thelander last year on AIRBNB (this was according to Farell). So I stayed in Farrell’s condo in December of 2016 for two weeks. I paid $1719 that included a rental vehicle along with a cleaning fee as advertised. Just to note, I have stayed in this condo complex via AIRBNB in the past a few times without any problems and felt that Farrell’s place would be a good get away and “on a budget as advertised. According to the math though, if I had rented another unit along with a rental car from the airport, I would not have paid much more and that is what really bothers me about this experience (the saying of you get what you pay for rings a bell). So, I arrived at the Molokai airport and found the most disgusting OLD van that looked like it had not been vacuumed in several years. Garbage and crumbs were on the floor which included old potato chips and other debris and just trash scattered everywhere. Anytime I went to the beach I had to make sure that my sandals were on whenever I entered the van. After a couple of days, I had enough and decided to drive to town and vacuum the thing out myself (the most disgusting vehicle I have ever been in). The van had a “check engine light” on the entire time and I will be perfectly clear when I say this, this was easily the worst vehicle I have ever been inside, in my life. Had I known the age, cleanliness (lack of), and shape of the van, I would have no doubt rented from Avis at the airport and paid the couple of extra dollars a day for a decent comfortable clean ride (I seriously felt like Sanford and Son at the junk yard). I mentioned this to Farrell and he was completely unaware apparently along with the van not being washed. According to Farrell, “I have instructions to wash the van at check out and I am not sure why they (guests?) are not doing it.” So upon arrival, the place was not really that clean and I actually found a few critters (ants) running around along with sand on the floor, etc. Nothing extremely terrible but I certainly expected a cleaner place upon check in with the amount of money I was spending. It just did not feel like a great aloha compared to past experiences. Another issue I had was with the water pressure in the shower. The water pressure seemed to fluctuate at times and I am not sure if that was due to the neighbor’s use or what exactly caused it. Finally, a few neighbors were loud late at night but I understood that they were probably just celebrating in paradise. So, fast forward several months later and I log into my AIRBNB account and I read this review that was left about me from Farrell stating that “the place was a greasy mess, burned food in three pots and does not even know what to say about the bathroom.” I immediately was baffled and was wondering why Farrell did not call me or email me about any issues considering we had been in communication via email and phone several times just a few days prior. I immediately thought that he must have me confused with someone else because I took out the trash daily, cleaned the place upon arrival, and gave the place a good cleaning upon checkout (for almost an hour), and this is on top of paying a “CLEANING FEE.” So I called Farrell, and let him know that I saw his review and I was completely upset and conveyed to him that he must have me confused with someone else. I also asked him why he did not call me if there was a problem or if there were “three pots that had burnt food in them” I would have gladly compensated him to make things right (although I am 99.9% certain there was no burnt food in three pots as he claimed). His response, “That was not even me who left that review but the guy who cleans my condo (Carl and Pat Thelander) who no longer works for me.” Wait, what? So you are telling me that the guy who I paid a cleaning fee to wrote an inaccurate review about me? (Continued in photo attachments)...
