They don’t clean their cuticle trimmers and other instruments between clients. She took them out if a dirty plastic box and put them right back in when she was done and there were 10-12 instruments in there. I also was charged 15 for a manicure after the woman doing my gel polish got it wrong three times and just friended it off each time. I’m pretty sure she used the top coat first but don’t know what happened. They bubbled every time I put them under the light. Finally she said to get a new color and I said it has been an hour I’m done. They made me pay $15 anyway because she trimmed my cuticles and filed my nails. My daughter went twice and both times she showed them a pic of a French tip style but with black tops. The first time she got fully black nails. The second time fully maroon nails, not tips. Charged us anyway.

First time I came was years ago, got some diamonds on one nail. Ladies were so rude and half fell off by end of the night. I’m like ok it’s the diamonds it’s okay.Second time my friend wanted to go so I said sure. I got gel nails and shows it already chipped 2 hours later, the second picture was the day after.Here is my last time with getting a pedi it’s really my last resort because everything else is closed and here she is peeling off my gel polish by ripping it off inside of soaking.I would not recommend 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure(very poorly done-the lady cut half my finger and toes in the process) here and within 5 days my nails were chipping and peeling off. Only two nails out of 10 were unaffected. I called and reported this; they said to come in and they’ll fix it. When I showed up; the nail tech started arguing with me saying it’s been at least two weeks since my nails were done (I had my card with payment proving it was less than 7 days) and that I would have to pay for an entire new service. This will be the last time I use this place. I’ve been getting my nails done for 10+ years and I have never had such poor customer service or issues with my nails.

I went to this place in a pinch because my normal nail salon was closed. I went for a fill and pedicure. Their pricing said $18 for a fill and the lady was trying to peel off my nails purposely saying they were lifting and I only had one that I knew was lifting. Ive been getting my nails done for 20 years and my mother was a cosmetologist so I know very well. I told her to stop it. She was on her phone almost the whole time which really bugged me. The lady was nice when she wasnt on her phone. Then she did my nails. She did the acrylic ok I guess but the gel polish top coat is lacking and theres still some of the old polish showing. Then she charged me $71 when it was supposed to be $43...I didnt see any regular nail polish in the place but if they did it shouldnt cost $28 for gel polish. The lady did stay open for almost a whole hour after closing but I got there at 7 and didnt leave until 845. Im glad they were open to service me but I wouldnt return unless it was an emergency.

Service is friendly and well done. For a busy small city salon the quality of care is exceptional. I would highly recommend.

This is the second time that I have walked out of Vi Nails. I went in this evening to get gel taken off my hands, and brought along with me my $5 off stamp card. After I sat down, the manager-type woman (who has always been rude and unprofessional to me) asked me if I had cash. When I pulled out my credit card and the $5 coupon loyalty card, she said I needed cash. I asked why the $5 off wouldn’t work for the service, and she had no answer. She again asked if I had any cash, and reminded me that there is a $10 minimum for cards. When I said that the $5 coupon didn’t have any notes at the bottom that indicated that it couldn’t apply to a $5 service, she proceeded to get ruder. [See picture of $5 coupon.] As I left, she said to ”bring cash next time.” She has no understanding of how to run a business, apparently, and after the second time of unwarranted rudeness, I will really never return. I hope that she eventually learns how to treat repeat customers. Their “Consumer Appreciation Program” is a joke and I will take my business somewhere that treats its customers with decency.

I went in to have a gel manicure and they lady was not friendly at all. She rushed to get me done to move on to the the next person. Once my nails were dry I asked the lady with Kim on her shirt to please charge me she was very rude and snatched the bill out of hand needless to say I will NEVER return for that type of service!

I love going to Vi Nails! They do an exceptional job with manicures and pedicures and clean up very well during this COVID-19 pandemic. I would really recommend requesting Kim for full sets/fill in or anything really! Will definitely be coming here regularly!

Clean and very punctual with appointments

I have been going to Kim for at least 5 years. She does an excellent job on my pink and white acrylic nails. I make an appointment with her about every three weeks and the pedicures are great too. The prices are reasonable..friendly staff and clean environment. I am glad this salon was recommended to me and I recommend it as well.

My nails look like an elementary school kid painted them. The coat is so uneven and they did not file my nails correctly. I will not be going back. They also charge extra for them to take off old gel nail polish.

I come here just for eyebrow waxing and they always give me a good natural shape, clean finish and always fast.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Me and my cousin weren’t aware of the expensive prices and while we were finding a way to get the extra money, they were yelling and arguing with us threatening to call the cops. All me and my cousin did was get short coffin nails and didn’t even pain them. They charged us $50 and $60 each. I won’t be coming back here again.

Lies about prices, tricks you into getting a pedi telling you its 10 when its really 30. Add in it took 3 hrs and 2 bleeding fingers. My nails are nice but experience was awful and embarrassing.

Ok so my 2 sisters an I decided to try this place out tonight. I got a gel mani an a regular pedi an so did my one sister we were not given a price till the end which was $57 an we both had to ask what our price was. They were very unprofessional an rude. My lady only spoke to ask if I wanted a deluxe pedi which would cost $57 just for that. Once I declined she didnt speak to me the rest of my service. I was told I couldnt put a tip on my card so I went out to my sister who was at the car to ask for cash . I left with bubbles an raised spots in my nails.My other sister got a full set an told the lady 3 different times she wanted points. It took the lady next to her saying she wanted points for the lady to even do them . The points are not center, they are not even. By the time she walked out 3 of her nails messed up (the paint). She asked the lady to not make it a straight line an the lady insisted she must fix it.

Despite some negative reviews, my hubby and I decided to go for pedicures. We had the deluxe pedicures and they were great! I wish they would have spent just a little more time on us, thats why I did 4 stars instead of 5... but we will go back!

Owner is extremely rude. I went for an eyebrow and upper lip wax. I dont go there very frequently, but this same service has never cost me over $11 total. I had a $14 balance on a gift certificate. She looked at it and I thought she said $2. No, she charged me $22 ! I looked at her and said $22??. It has never cost that much. She said because she waxed my chin and under lower lip too. I have had those areas included before and NEVER paid more then $11. Whats more, once you can get home and in actual bright light I could see she had done a poor job. I truly believe she makes up prices on the spot and can get away with it because services have already been provided.You might go here occasionally and get proper service, but eventually Kim will rob you as you watch.

My mother, 2 sisters and myself went here for years and it used to have amazing ratings. I haven’t gone in a year or so but My mom still goes and boasts about Kim but i told her she may be good but the other nail techs aren’t so great. First I brought in 2 colors instead of choosing one. When I showed a picture of what I wanted (pretty simple, just wanted one color and two accent nails) when I brought them in and showed them the two nail techs next to each other laughed at me as if it was some crazy request to want one accent nail with a gem or two on each hand. On top of that, two or more nails were crooked and the shapes were not the same as the others. I brought it up to her and the more she tried to change them the worse the shapes got. I told my mom to please stop going. She said Kim is a sweetheart but I’m not seeing that from these reviews lol

I asked for a specific style nail and specific shape she did not go by the picture I provided and refused to give me a discount. They insisted I pay full price..Kim the owner was no help. She is not considerate despite her staff lacking many set skills. Kim is not for the customers and if you have any problems she will always defend her staff even in the wrong. This place lacks ALL customer service skills and even the skills of particular staff is hit or miss here..save your money and go else where to save yourself trouble or problems..If I could give it no stars I would. These people are rude and could careless if the job they’ve done is horrible they will insist on taking your money otherwise...Kim is horrible!! I have gone here a handful of times only because of their selections over the course of 4 years and EVERY. Single. Time. I have been going here for almost a yr I was never really impressed with any of their people skills but they have a huge selection in the dipping powders and do a good job. But the last two time I have left very unhappy and this time I walked out in the middle of my service. The nail tech insisted I had acrylic nails which I have not done for two+ years. I was turned on to dipping over a yr ago by the salon I was getting gel done at. Not only was she telling me I had acrylics she kept picking at the nail instead of soaking ripped of two of my nails because they were not loose all the way. She damaged the nail bed on 3 of my fingers. I asked her to please stop peeling and soak it all the way off she said they are loose so I can pull it off. I said no soak she gave me an attitude and I lost it I got up she demanded payment I looked at her and said pay for my damaged nails! I will never go back to this place not only does the customer services suck there is a few tech in their that do not care about customer’s needs. Try Top 1 Nails they cleaned up their mess!

I live right down the street from this salon and decided to give them a chance. I had called before hand to ask how much a gel fill in would be and was told $25 which is reasonable and normal price. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was able to sit down immediately after choosing my color. She did a great job on my nails but as soon as it was all done she then decided to tell me it would be $35 instead of $25 because my nails were longer. I have never been told this before by another salon. seems like she is in it for the money and not because she enjoys doing that line of work which sucks because she actually did do a good job on my nails. Unfortunately I will not be returning because I feel like I had gotten taken advantage of.

Vi nails is such a disappointment. I have given them the benefit of the doubt for 5+ years despite the fact that they are rarely if ever friendly/nice and often just plain rude. They don’t even know my name even though I’m a regular? I always tip the women well and even so, cannot even get some common courtesy. Additionally, I have been burnt by the “warm” lotion which is hotter than molten lava and when the woman did it she didn’t even acknowledge it... ? This is entirely unacceptable and I’ve had it. Wish I had made this decision sooner but I plan on telling my friends as well (most of whom already know vi nails is a waste) that I’m boycotting. From the other reviews looks like this is a disturbing pattern for them. DO BETTER!

Went here today despite seeing some negative things on a neighborhood FB page. They took me right away and did a great job, but I asked for a simple manicure, which is $12. About half way through the manicure I was chatting with the customer beside me who getting gel nails done.My manicurists ask me at that point if I wanted gel manicure. I emphatically said no! Just a regular. When she finished I was handed a slip with the price of $25. When questioned, I was told she gave me a gel manicure. I was frustrated and could not find anyone who spoke English. So I paid and left.very unsatisfied customer who wont go back!

I have been going here a lot and recently I have had numerous awful experiences. One time, the lady ripped off my skin and as it was gushing blood, she put nail glue on it which of course did not help it. Another time, I went to go get dipped nails with tips and I asked for a dipped mani and the lady didn’t clean my nail beds, push back my cuticles, or even trim my nails. She went straight to the dip powder! Normally this process takes about an hour but she did it in 15 minutes and it looks awful. There is leftover nail stuff all around my nails and they are so uneven. When my friends get their eyebrows done, their results include ripped skin, extreme redness that last for days, and scabs. This place is overpriced and the employees are rude and inconsiderate.

I was searching for peace and nurture on my feet yesterday. Two friends suggested Vi Nails as the place to go to get a quality pedicure for an inexpensive price. I walked in and was greeted abruptly. I was told to choose a color. The woman that rendered the service was non-English speaking, so I tried to engage her with other symbols by smiling and nodding. She needed the technician next to us to translate my needs. I dance professionally with a dance company, so the bottom of my feet need attention. Theyre not in bad shape, but they need scrubbed more vigorously than soft. She did not scrub my feet, cut the toe nails, and left my cuticles jagged. I had to ask the technician to translate my needs, but she was still unable to complete the pedicure properly. I was frustrated after she began to put the polish on and it clumped onto my nail and she got it onto my skin and didnt wipe it off. If I didnt speak up she wouldve kept it that way. I kept asking her to fix it, but it still didnt translate. It seemed like she didnt think I had eyes to see that it was not applied smoothly. I asked the technician in passing for a new polish. I felt like they were frustrated with my requests. I felt like she had no training at all to pedicure professionally. I was unsatisfied, but didnt want to make a scene. I paid the $22 and struggled to give her $1 tip. It was the worst pedicure experience Ive ever had. I went to Plum Salon Spa to get the pedicure corrected. Thank you Nia at Plum you saved my feet. :)

I would have gave five stars... But every time I told the lady what I wanted she questioned me to make sure I had enough money. However my nails do look beautiful they do very nice work. So that is the main reason I gave them 3 stars I felt she was prejudging me as if I couldnt afford what I was asking for!!!

Today I went to do a nail polish when I arrived at the Vi Nails establishment. They asked me what I was going to do. I told them that a nail polish would tell me that I would have to wait until there were many people before me and I answered that no I did not have any problem that I expected. After an hour I sit one of his employees to which I say Im and a refill and she continues to put cotton and aluminum after spending a few minutes comes that I think is the owner or manager of establishment and takes all the aluminum rudely shouting at the employee in their language and insulting in front of everyone that place I did not like at all was a bad time that happened and was very rude. (I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT)

After reading reviews... I was very hesitant coming here. It was a nasty day out and a Sunday, so options were limited.Im so glad I decided to stop here. Very nice inside, the smell wasnt overbearing like most nail places. The area itself is nice. The people dont understand too much English but enough to understand no latex lol.My tech was ANH. She was pleasant... She gave the best foot massage Ive had thus far at any nail salon. I could have fell asleep.Just a heads up, when you tip, it needs to be cash. They accept credit and debit cards but will not put tip on the card.I will be back!!

Came in for a pedicure and after sitting with my feet freezing in the water for over a half hour. When I had enough and got up to leave her response was but you can use massage while you wait SMH. I dont mind waiting at all but the problem I have is the fact I was sat in that chair for over a half hour and not even spoken to until I got up to leave. I will never go back in there

I truly feel that if you want good quality you have to be willing to pay good quality prices my nails look absolutely fabulous. Not only was the environment pleasant but the staff are very kind and patient They dont make you feel rushed or like just a number but more like a friend whos coming catch up today was my 1st time ever stepping foot in this nails salon and I can honestly say as long as I live out my days here in Lancaster city they will be the only salon that will ever touch my fingers or my toes again. Please read reviews before going here I wish i had! I was gifted this as a do something for your self gift and after years of not doing my nails i try them out. Manager Kim is very rude and does not listen to what customer wants. She will continue to repeat they are ok when it is very obvious they are not! I left with my nails resembling Chiclet gums!

This place is absolutely disgusting. I came in today for a full set, I asked for nail forms because I don’t like the plastic tips but instead of telling me that they were less equipped to fulfill this task, the lady proceeded to do my acrylics and after taking the nail forms off I noticed that they looked absolutely terrible and when I pointed this out to her and asked her to just take them off, she told me that I would still need to pay for it and OK I was more than willing to do so because she put the time in to actually do it and it took her a while to do them but I was really upset that when the manager Kim was asked to come speak with me, she gave me an attitude and told me that the nails looked good and that I was being a problem... my nails looked TERRIBLE and I still had to pay more than $40 to get them done. I was outraged because I was not satisfied and y’all still are trying to make me pay for horrendous service. I wasted $40 on nails that I asked to be medium length but got them short, which i pointed out to the nail tech as well as the manager Kim, but they told me I was wrong & that I was given the service that I asked for. My nails are lifting, lopsided, shaped all different, I asked for square & received one coffin thumb, a squoval left middle finger & tapered pinkies. I will NEVER come back & advise others not to spend money here.

I am very sorry to say after 3 years of having my nails done here I need to find another place to have my nails done. After overcharging me for a manicure, I brought it to the attention of Kim, the owner. Instead of correcting the mistake she said that since I asked for three coats of polish, the charge is an additional $5 (for a $25 manicure???) I ALWAYS request 3 coats and have never been charged an additional amount until today. Right after I paid, the woman sitting next to me (who also requested 3 coats) was only charged $25! I brought to to Kims attention again and she said because I had a French manicure it was $5 more. Again, I had the same manicure last week and it was $25 as it had always been. She said it was not her fault the girls who do the manicures dont understand English and they should have told me it would be more (for three years I was never told, really?) I asked Kim if she was willing to lose a long term customer over a error in the charge and she said That Ok with me, honey. Sorry Kim, you have lost a customer and all of the referrals Ive made to you as well. That was a pretty expensive $5 business decision, huh?

This is the only place I get my nails done. Im picky when it comes to my nails. I love this venue and I drive 25 mins to get there... and its not the easiest to find the time. Been a customer for about 2 years. Every 2 weeks.

I went in to Vi Nail Salon for a manicure and pedicure after being referred by one of my friends. Great experience at a very reasonable price! The salon was very clean and the people were friendly.

I got a FUNGUS 6 inches in size on top of my right foot from this salon!!!Wax job left me burnt and with at least 8 cuts on my face.Never again.Nail techs are extremely rough.Do your self a favor- dont go here.Im done.Horrible!

This salon does not even deserve one star. Stay away from here! The owner, Kim, is rude and only interested in making a profit. I went in for an acrylic fill and she said my original acrylics were lifting and then she proceeded to rip them off. I was in such pain I felt nauseous. While she sanded them, she made the top of one nail bed bleed. I thought I was going to pass out. She blotted the blood and asked if it hurt. I said yes and she didn’t even apologize. Kim was too busy talking on her cell phone, but the technician at the next station saw my distress and turned her fan toward me. After Kim applied the acrylic, the blood was still visible through it. It throbbed for two days. This was not the end of it. When she asked what color I wanted, I told her I wanted the same color another technician was putting on my daughter. The polish she put on my nails was several shades darker and when I pointed out to Kim that our nails did not match, she replied, “It same number!” several times. I wanted the color to match....I couldn’t care less if the numbers matched! To make matters worse, within 24 hours my thumb was swollen and had 3 small very painful blisters on it. Apparently I had chemical burns on my skin. Despite several phone calls and return visits to report all of this to Kim, she never once apologized or tried to make up for it. She said none of it was her fault. When she made my daughter’s cuticle bleed before she did my nails, I should’ve walked out, but I stayed and I regret it. I am writing this review to hopefully prevent someone else from even going into this salon.

Horrible experience. They told me to wait 15 minutes and I was still waiting after 45 minutes. They took 2 people that came in after me and when I said something they acted like they didnt hear me. I finally left. Never again. I felt so disrespected.

If i could leave no stars i would. I dont have a google account so im using my boyfriends to write this review. I went in today ( sunday) after knowing the service sucks and the skills the workers have suck. But it was a last minute thing ad nothing else was close and open. I have acrylics. Twi weeks ago i got a full set, and today i went in for a fill. I waited about 40 mins until i was taken to a seat, but thats fine i guess. Could be worse right. Well it gets worse. I sit down and the girl starts taking my gel polish off and tells me its 3$ extra( which is bs considering they use the dremel to take all polish off of acrylics). She starts to clip off the parts that were lifting ( SLIGHTLY LIFTING MIGHT I ADD). And then starts ripping off every one of my nails. Not soaking then in acetone like a professional would, literally RIPPING THEM OFF MY FINGERS. Which hurt. A lot. Then she says “ it okay i fix for you”, me thinking that means ill be charged for a fill not a full set ( which she then proceeded to give me), but first she used the dremel on my natrual but now very weak nails and hit my skin and burned me Then she put new tips on my fingers after i told her to not cut down my natural nails and that i wanted my nails a little longer than my natrual nails, but she messed up and cut down my nails. My thumb nail is extremely crooked and its very noticeable to me. She was also very rough when it came to holding my fingers, just ask me and I’ll adjust my hand, you dont have to be aggressive about it. Then when i went to pay, she says “$25”, my total should have only been 18 after the bs 3$ charge for taking off gel polish. And then when i went to dry my nails there were no drying seats open vut tge girl just walked away and ignored that i was there so i said “ its fine ill just sit here and wait” she would have sat me back doen at a work station that wasnt being used and used the dryer there. Then I proceeded to leave a $5 tip because I always tip well. I get home and my nails have been throbbing ever since.

Horrible mani/pedi. I must have had the new girl because she was being watched closely by the manicurist next to her. Did not speak a word of English. When she wanted me to wash my hands, she just pointed toward the area where the sink was - I had no idea what she wanted. Cut my nails so short I have practically no tips showing. Used gel polish on my toes and had to remove and redo after she realized it. Unfortunately, I paid and tipped her prior to the manicure as I customarily do, so I do not have to mess my nails up. She was in constant conversation with the manicurist next to her and laughed throughout the entire time. She was just terrible, Had manicure on Thursday, nail tips were chipped by Friday. Pedi is okay, once she got the polish right. Stay away from this place. Buyer beware!
