I don’t know if this is a discriminatory thing but they seem to only want certain people to buy guns from them. I called asking for a transfer, they put me on hold and just hung up on me. In the heat of controversy they folded. As someone who has a 2A right I understand that I cannot force them to treat all of their customers fairly and equally. But I thought that I should allow you to know what was happening and decide if you’re going to take that in consideration. If I pass a background check and meet the requirements for purchasing a firearm why prevent me from making the purchase? Who is it that you believe should own a firearm while I am unarmed? The only reason I gave five stars was in hope that they would somehow see this and correct their mistake.

Great pawn shop,gave me way more for my gold, than a pawn shop i visited in bakersfield,glad i waited and took it to Ricks on a friends recommedation!

I am so happy that a friend encouraged me over a year ago to go to Ricks to get my jewelry. What a great place to do business with. I have spent many hours talking to Adam about gemstones and diamonds and both he and Eddie are absolutely the greatest to deal with. No pressure, always willing to help, extremely knowledgeable. Jason does all of my sizing and recently rebuilt the prongs on a very old ring of mine. His work is excellent. I have referred many customers to them who have purchased jewelry. Excellent firearm sales service here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and makes the buying experience easy! They were much more personable than some other gun shops in the area and they maintain a comfortable atmosphere in their store. Theyve got a little bit of everything there, definitely worth stopping in!

They are good sharp crew with no bones business with all the checks required by law. Realize they run a business when conducting business. Prices may not be what you want but it is cash there in your pocket if you are in a pinch. Great selection of items and most everything you need in a pinch.

I had no problem selling my property at Ricks though I thought I got less than a fair price but they were the only pawn shop that would give me any cash for my stuff. But who is really satisfied when selling? I no doubt will return to Ricks if need be. Service was above average.

I visited Ricks several times and called them with questions before buying my first pistol at their shop. They were extremely helpful through the whole process. I found the prices reasonable and believe there is something to be said for supporting local shops. I know if I having questions or concerns, theyll be there to help in the future.

Disappointed went there yesterday to ask if i can use them as a ffl dealer to transfer a firearm they tell me that yes go ahead and order it and send it here well i buy the firearm and call the next day which is today to make sure and they tell me there not taking any transfers at the time what a waste of time and money and now its really hard to find a ffl dealer because how things are right now sml....

Be careful of this place. They have a lot of good stuff at excellent prices. I always spend more than I mean to.Seriously though, if you want great prices, good selection, and decent people, this is the pawn shop for you.

These guys are honest. I went to pawn my guitar because i was late on rent and he couldnt take it because i didnt have a case. I said i would sell it and he told me to hold on to it and come back tomorrow if i really want to sell it. He could telI i didnt want to. I still have my guitar im glad he talked me out of it.

Dont waist your time here costumer service sucks and is unprofessional . After standing around waiting for 15 min i witnessed these guys give a guy $5 for a cement trowel but they offered me $25 for a Go Pro hero 3 with a touch screen?? What a rip off it seems they only help out who they like its not a fair and equal operation do yourself a favor and dont waist your time here.

Iv been going here for almost 7 years now and ive loved the service! I remember the first time i went there was when i went to go get a ps2 like 6 years ago like 2008 or so and iv had so much fun with it. Ive bought alot of stuff from there and glad to have it.its just when my brother went there he got himself a tablet and then the charger stopped working and the tablet is kind of slow.but i fixed it pretty easily. im planning to buy a guitar from them and i always get guitar equipment from them. always has the best prices for a pawnshop and the only pawn shop il go to is here
