I actually called around to price area rug cleaning prior to making the appointment w/Certified Carpet. Their pricing was by far the most competitive, and offered pick-up and delivery, which is definitely an advantage. My area rug is several years old and just simply needed refreshed, no stains present. So while the rug wasnt in bad shape, I was so pleasantly surprised by how NEW it looked upon delivery from cleaning and scotchguarding. And while the carpet looked great, it is not the only reason for providing this review. Two gentlemen by the names of Andy and Glenn provided the service. Kudos to Certified for employing kind, knowledgeable and capable team members. They arrived when they promised, were respectful of my home, and responded kindly to my picky placement of the rug. :o) I would absolutely recommend Certified Carpet for their impeccable service, both inside and outside their facility. And tell Andy that I still wont allow my husband to walk on the rug...

We used Certified to fix an area rug with buckling and restretch a basement carpet. They did a phenomenal job and prices were very fair. I wish I could provide the names of the workers. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend.

Brought two slightly dirty area rugs for premium cleaning upon getting them the first one I opened smells of urine and wet dog. They feel gross to the touch. Take you business else where. Certified did a great job of cleaning our 13 year old carpeting. The technician was very polite and answered all of our questions.

Excellent service! A sofa was successfully de-odorized and is now good for many more years. The agent was careful, neat and worked diligently on carpeting as well. He managed to remove two rusty water spots which had dried into the rugs. Will definitely use this company again when it is time to clean rugs and/or furniture. All in all, am more than pleased with the outcome of his efforts!

Our new kitchen floor with custom inlay of 16 slate-look blocks laid on the diagonal was, I believe, a challenging job for the installer. The job was superbly done. The mechanic an artist was nice and friendly.

We engaged several carpet places and after reviewing prices and carpet styles, we picked Certified Carpet for our project. We had wall-to-wall carpet installed in our living rooms, stairs and landings. A five star rating given because from start to finish everyone at Certified Carpet worked with us in an extremely friendly and personal manner. We probably drove Stefany nuts as we had a difficult time coming to a decision on type and color but youd never know it. She was top notch and worked with us. The scheduler worked with us as well and we got the dates we wanted. When the day arrived, our installers were on time and made it look easy. Chuck and Nick did our house and they were respectful of our house and property, cleaned up after themselves and did a bag up job installing the carpet pad and carpet. The carpet looks great and with an inspectors eye, we could not find any faults. Two things stand out. 1. During the install process we changed our mind on some trim and styling and it was a non-issue to Chuck and Nick and better yet, our price was reduced to reflect the changes! 2. After the install we had some remnants we wanted bounded and Stefany came to our house and picked up the carpet for the binding. That is above and beyond customer service! I would not have any reservations recommending Certified Carpet to family or friends for their carpet needs.

Dropped a shag rug off to be cleaned. Supposed to have all of the pet odor removed. Payed extra for enzyme treatment. When I got the rug home and unrolled it it still reeked and I could see plenty of dust fly out of it in the sunlight. What the heck did they do or not do for the money that I paid to have it made CLEAN? That is not my definition of a clean rug.

I have a 8x10 rainbow wool area rug that I LOVE, unfortunately my cat loved it as well so much so he peed on it. I tried for months to get the carpet clean- using all the suggested remedies to clean it, to no avail I started calling local carpet cleaning shops only to find out how expensive this cat pee was going to be (more than I paid for the carpet initially) I started looking outside my area (Northern VA) and found Certified Carpet of Lancaster PA, I called and spoke with Adam- He was super nice and knowledgeable- he sold me on the idea of driving my carpet 2.5 hours from home to be cleaned (the price did help:) I dropped the rug off with Dan, he was GREAT, explaining the process and even giving me a tour of where they cleaned rugs and the entire process--SO NICE! The front desk women are super fantastic as well, unfortunately I do not remember their names but I highly recommend this company, not just because of the outstanding customer service but the quality of work. Though I have never publicly voiced any dissatisfaction or disappointment for any negative business encounters I have had, I feel compelled to do so in this case following the complete and total lack of professional conduct, courtesy, and ethical standards I have seen provided by Certified Carpet in Lancaster, PA-specifically in regards to their hiring practices/standards and employee values/conduct.As a licensed management professional myself, I will now move forward with the assumption that such business standards and conduct (or lack there of) they have demonstated behind closed doors is a direct reflection of the subsequent business conduct, morals, and standards they hold themselves to providing for the employees and customers they serve.With that being said, they have not, and never will receive any business from me or my family as I end my own disappointing and dissatisfied experience with the company urging you all to proceed with caution and careful consideration before providing them with services of your own as either a customer or employee.

We took our 10x12 rug in to be cleaned and scotch guarded . When we got it home we discovered 3 spots. I called and was told we could bring it back to be recleaned for free. My husband was unwilling to go to that trouble and easily cleaned it with rug shampoo. I called and reported what we did. I was expecting some kind of discount, but only got an Im sorry . I said I would be giving a poor review. No response. So here it is!
