Ryan, Troy and Dave were professional, timely, thorough, neat, and provided quality work at a fair price. Troy seamlessly removed our radiator for some tile work, and has helped maintain our boiler and heating system for the past two years. Ryan helped troubleshoot updating plumbing fixtures in our 1930s bathroom without the need for major structural changes. Their office has a great system for notifying you of appointment windows and when the team is en route to your location. Their communication, work quality and service is excellent. Ryan gave a lot of thought to our needs before preparing an estimate for the 5 zone mini split system they eventually installed. Unlike some of the other estimators it was obvious Ryan took into consideration the logistics involved as well as taking thorough measurements to insure the proper size units were chosen. The communication was great and the crew were fantastic. We had several estimates and we are happy we went with Scheaffer as the price was fair and the work was excellent.

I sent Ryan and message through their business website late on Saturday night and heard back from him on Sunday (quick response) for a non emergency job of finishing our light switch project. He was able to make time for us that week. He arrived on time and completed the task in short time. We had already purchased all the equipment and done some of the work, but were stuck with the more complicated switches. As someone who has been in their first home for 2 years, any problems that arise I get worried. Last week we had a serious puddle in our downstairs near our furnace and water heater. My wife advised me to reach out to someone and I took a chance on Ryan Sheaffer at Sheaffer Electric & Mechanical. He was great over the phone. He answered all of my questions. He wasnt trying to force his way out to sell something, which I could normally see through. The day he came out, within 15 minutes, he found the problem. It was a misalignment inside of my furnace. He charged for the labor but didnt try and sell something else. He was genuinely there to help. He cleaned up my system and left me tabs inside of my drain pan that would dissolve and clean out the pipes connected to the furnace. We felt like he went above and beyond without being pushy. We just bought a 135 year old house that needs a lot of work. My first, major concern was the boiler. After searching for HVAC technicians online, I found Sheaffer Electric and read all the glowing reviews. I called and set up a time for Ryan to come out. He arrived at the scheduled time and took a look at the boiler. After servicing the boiler, he ran the system to make sure it worked. He also explained the system and how it functions. While he was explaining everything, he spoke to both my husband and myself. This is important to me, as a woman, because so many service technicians focus on the man.Since then, we have had Ryan out a couple more times. Most recently, he was out with John to complete some electrical work. Again, they arrived on time and completed the work in a professional manner. Today (Martin Luther King Day) the temperature was in the high 20s and Ferrell Gas just shut off my gas because of a small leak. I called a total of three plumbers and the first two had little to no customer service and one I even hung up on because the receptionist was that rude. Ryan saved us from Novembers polar vortex, and at half the price!! We bought a new home in May, and a couple of weeks ago the furnace started giving out and was proclaimed a fire hazard.
