A friend and I decided to go here because it looked like a really nice salon inside and the reviews seemed nice… we wanted a pedicure and a manicure, both with gel. Which isn’t hard at all as she and i both have gone to school for it. But we were in the pedicure chairs for 3 hours. She and i both have cuts on our toes from the lady cutting our cuticles. When we finally got our manicures they rushed it and finished within 5 minutes. They missed spots on our nails, gave them odd shapes and left bubbles in our nails. We both have natural nails. We paid for the deluxe of everything and really didn’t get anything special done. They used some type of scrub and mask on our legs that left me with a horrible rash and scratches all over my legs and feet. I have bruises on the top of my feet from it all and my toes hurt. It was the worst experience. The staff were very nice overall, but that was the only upside. I usually do not leave reviews, bit this was just not ok.

This is one of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to. They’re so cordial and nice to everyone. They’re also very knowledgeable and they are 100% knowing what they’re doing. I have been there twice and I’m always gonna go back. They really are amazing and listen to exactly what you want done.

I used to go to Minas all the time. I had a horrible experience yesterday. The guy who was doing my pedicure took off a huge chunk of nail and skin and I was bleeding. It still hurts and Im sure itll be infected. Then, the woman who finished my pedicure basically fell asleep while very lightly rubbing my leg. Poor service and who knows what will happen with my toe. I wish I didnt pay for it, because it was horrible.

My wife has been going to this place for years with her daughter. Now today out of the blue, they refused to do her nails until Johnny was back on Monday. She takes care of our grand daughter on Mondays, so she cant go then. I am NEVER going back there and neither is my wife. She is so hurt that she would be treated that way.

Just got a pedicure not even ten minutes ago. First time here and I didn’t know which colors were available in just gel colors (I just wanted to get a gel manicure), so every color I initially picked wasn’t available. Woman who assisted me with my pedicure was obviously irritated with me and made it quite known. Sensing her irritation, I just picked a random color. When I didn’t like it, I asked her to take it off and she was even more irritated. I just paid for my pedicure and walked out the door. Extremely embarrassed and unhappy with my service.Update: So I called and asked to speak with a manager (I don’t typically do that but I was extremely frustrated with the rushed service, etc). I believe I spoke with Mina. She was extremely polite and invited me back to fix my nails. Went back the next day and she fixed my nails. She was friendly and attentive, great customer service, and my nails came out great. Definitely felt the needed to update my review and increase the rating (from two to three stars).

GREAT experience! Had to wait a little bit, but only because they were full/busy. They were completely understanding of what I wanted and were very nice. 8/10 will be back.

My family loves going to Mina Nails, every time we walk in we are greeted with smiles! The staff is so polite and professional, they’re informative and punctual! Every trip to Minas is an experience, our entire family enjoys our “Spa” days! Won’t go anywhere else to have our mani-pedis done! Can’t beat good treatment and relaxing atmosphere.

I used to go there all the time and never had an issue with them up until yesterday I got a fill, and my mom ASKED for her eyebrows and chin waxed. not only my index finger is chipping already. But they over charged my mom on her chin because she had “too much hair” which she didn’t, they did her upper lip in which she NEVER asked for but took advantage because she doesn’t speak English. Then when I went back there to confront. That lil lady had the AUDACITY to yell and scream at my pregnant self. I always pay the same price when I go there for the both of us. It most of been a slow day for them to try to finesse more money than I owed of me. On top of the disrespect I’m never going there againUpdate: 2 more of my nails chipped right after smh

Came here to get a fill this morning and all of the employees were so nice! The gel color selection is by far the best I’ve seen in a nail salon and I’m impressed with the shape, nail thickness and the overall fill! I’ll definitely be coming back.

I would’ve given 5 stars but they are way too overpriced. I paid $70 for a full set and though I absolutely like my nails, I know I could’ve gotten this exact same look somewhere else for much cheaper. This is by far the most I’ve spent on my nails. I’ve always paid around $50-$60 max (not including the tip) but they do a decent job.

Nice over the phone, never tried up selling me. nice and sweet people working there, felt different than some places Ive been in and you feel like theyre talking ish about you behind your back. I got acrylic nails with gel on top. Color Ferrari red. Also great selection of nail colors for gels. She also took a good amount doing some detailing around my nail beds and under my fingernails. I told her I liked their ways so much I would leave her this review, honestly just felt like they deserved a good one.

I went in here 2 times. One was to get a full acrylic set with gel polish, the other was a fill and more gel polish. Both times the gel started to peel off my nails the same day. Each time I went in the lady rushed so much that she was hurting me the whole time by popping my knuckles and even cut me when I got my fill. When I got my fill I payed and was charged. At some point or another it went back into my account, then pulled out again 8 days later resulting in a negeitive balance and fees. Overall their work, customer service, and apparently their payment system doesnt deserve one star.

I love my nails. They actually take care of you. Your not just a customer to them .

I consistently drive out of my way to have my nails done at Minas. No other nail technician has taken as much care for the shape of my nails. I have really bad cuticle issues and they always make sure theyre cut back for me and I love that they still give a decent massage at the end of the fill. Also, that I can get a fill in around an hour and its still quality and a very competitive price, this keeps me coming back. Its not just that though, its also the cleanliness of the salon and good decor choices. Its also that its a family owned and operated business. Mina and her family truly care that the customer has a great experience. I highly recommend them, even though Id rather keep the secret to myself ;)

I came here before to do my pedicure in the summer, they did a amazing job but doing my manicure this time it didn’t go as planned like don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place and all. It’s just wasn’t the right place for me like I have been to only two places and this was my first choice coming to think that the bad comment that the lady who said she had a bad experience well I totally agree with her. Coming here the second time like it was the same lady she was talking about and to be honest I had bad experience. She was so impatient and wanted to just get it over with it. She was lazy too because all she wanted was wanted to do is lay down on the chairs where the customers do their pedicures. Never coming here ever again for a manicure. Don’t recommend.

They are discriminatory towards medical alert service dog teams (which is illegal). I was a long time customer here until my friend and I were turned away because we have medical alert dogs for our disabilities (my girl goes with me now everywhere as Ive gotten worse). Im very disgusted and disappointed by this shop and will never go back. Another show was nice enough to welcome our pups with open arms and take care if both our fill set acrylics and asked questions to better understand the need and bind between service dogs and handlers.

I went in for the first time about 2 weeks ago after reading other reviews I thought it would be a good place to go. I got a pedicure and gel polish and then a manicure with gel polish. The first two days after my nails still looking great..... the third the polish on my toes fell off. Not chipped literally the entire polish fell off, my finger nails the same thing started happening it is raised on the edges and I am just overall not happy my nails didn’t even last a full week before I started having issues. I had made and appointment for the services and right after there were like 6 walk ins and they rushed the whole process.... probably won’t be going back here.

Decided to try Mina’s after wanting to find a place closer to work to get occasional summer pedicures. Was very satisfied with my experience. The salon is very clean, has a great relaxing atmosphere. During Covid-19 everyone was wearing masks and they spaced people apart well. I got the premium pedicure and thought the price was very fair for what I got. There were so many polish color choices, maybe the most I’ve seen in any one place. My toes look very nice, the polish is even and without gaps (I’m kind of a perfectionist when it comes to smooth, even coverage and this passes the test!) Staff was very nice, the woman who did my toes was often checking in to make sure things were ok, not too hot, etc.

I am new to the area so I’ve tried several spots looking for one I like and Mina’s has become my favorite! I never have to wait long and they do my nails quickly without losing any quality! Very friendly staff with good service. I like many styles and they’ve done a great job on everything I’ve asked them to do and they have a good selection of colors to choose from.

I am from out of town and read the reviews online. They speak the truth! I had Ann do my nails today, she was fantastic! The salon is clean, friendly and hard-working. I can highly recommend this salon.

I wouldn’t even give it one star if I had a choice. Just left her shop and she denied service because I asked for their best nail tech because I am particular. I was very polite about it. Bad customer service. Should want people to have your best!! Shame.

Really, REALLY clean place. Walked in and was instantly greeted. They are very delicate, well mannered, had a funny tv show too to watch while you get pampered. I showed them what I wanted and was blown away by how better mine looked. First time in a nail salon in Washington and will continue to go. Loved everything.

So disappointed. I had a acrylics put on 9 days ago. While I felt the job was awesome, the nails started lifting and one nail separated from the nail tip. After looking for another place to get my nails done, I made an executive decision to take the acrylics off. I didn’t even have to soak them, they came off without damaging the real nail surface.

I LOVE her shop!! All of them are approachable, friendly and humble. They take pride in their work and its always a personal experience. I go about every two weeks. Its been over a year now and I feel the same customer service exists. I recommend this shop! And Mon_ Thursday the special is $35 for manicure, pedicure & eyebrows!!

Since moving to Lakewood from the Los Angeles area I have tried several nail salons in search of one that I like as much as the place I used In L.A. My search has ended! I like Mina Nails even better than my old salon.The shop is clean, there is a good selection of gel colors and the service is extraordinary. Mina paid close attention to my toes which had recent in-grown nail surgery. She was very mindful to cause me no discomfort.I highly recommend this salon.

I have been here for everything. From daily care to doing my wedding party. Always leave with a smile and feel well taken care of. They always know and remember what I like and what I need. No need to go else way. Can be very busy but thats because the service is great.

I started coming when they first opened about a year ago, and I WILL NOT go anywhere else! The ladies that work there are the sweetest ladies and they treat you like family. Their prices are reasonable, you wont find better prices anywhere else..and their quality is one of a kind!! However, because of their excellent service, they sometimes get extremely busy. I would NOT recommend coming during their busy busy times. Long waits in between your services..It has taken me 3 hours to get through a pedicure and fill during busy times like that.

Absolutely Amazing, I am very very picky And I have never been disappointed since coming here. I originally came here due to the amazing reviews and I have not been let down. Mina and her family are so amazing, her and her husband do the best nails. My shape is always precise and on point and I refuse to go anywhere else. She is the best! Also, she does eye brows like no other, I recommend Minas to everybody! So many colors to choose from, and very clean. The lady was rushing the entire time and I stopped her in the middle of the service because instead of doing what I asked she did it her way and after saying what I didn’t like she got mad and refused to fix it. They were just opening so she should not have been rushing I was the only person there. I still paid full price and the job was not complete. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone it was terrible. They once ask for military in return you get a discount on services which is a no go cause CIF need that back then caught a attitude.

So it’s been 4 months since I made the comment below but I came back tonight to get my nails done they said yes I ran to car to get my son and was getting ready to choose my nails. My husband brought my two daughters so they can get their feet painted and he left so we can spend time together and they told me no . Unless my husband comeBack . I have to many kids they can’t do my nails and said no to doing theirs ! (The woman there) I’m confused to why !!This place is amazing they are nice the man who did my nails is so nice . I was impatient and touched my nail to see was it dry and messed up the whole nail and to remind you it’s 7:37 and they close at 7 they stayed to make sure my daughters and I was taken care of . He redid my nail and stayed and told me to be careful and drive safe they are sweet people !!

Terrible experience! Between 3 different people doing my pedicure and full set! Never in my life have I had the experience! On top of the outrageous prices! Find another place guys! Oh yeah the lady was so cheap with the polish never dipping it back into the nail polish bottle! One dip and all 5 nails polished! This place sucks

Minas is awesome! I found my forever nail salon!First things first.I called in the night prior, I was informed they do walk ins and they even told me the times it was not as busy.I got in around 11:30 on Saturday and was seen before I could even sit in the couch!My pedicure for just the basic package was great. They very carefully dealt with my problem nails grooming them perfectly!Not to mention my nails were done fabulously. Also happen to also get a eyebrow wax. I am VERY impressed and will definitely be back!Thanks again to the great staff!

I rated them two stars because of the cleanliness however my pedicure was rushed because they had appointment after me and knew it but still chose to take my money and rushed the job! Then I ordered a mimosa and they gave me a small cup filled half way up. Then women staff are not friendly at all but the two men are!

If you are reading reviews and trying to figure out where you should go to get your nails done look no further. I have been in the area for 5 years and Ive got my nails done at multiple places and none compare to Mina nails. Mina was so polite and very gentle with my painful nail. In my whole 12 years of getting my nails done I have never had a nail technician pay that much attention to the shape and quality of my nails. She was a fast worker but knew what she was doing and put a lot of care and time and got a lot done with my nails. I got exactly what I asked for and it looks just like the picture that I showed her. I could not be more happy and I will be returning for as long as I live in the area. Supporting your community means supporting your local family businesses. All of the workers are related and came to America to work hard and they are still working hard. I am so happy with my nails...I cant stop looking at them. I have been getting so many compliments.

Honestly, I cannot be more happy with the services here. When you walk in, there is such a beautiful and friendly atmosphere in there. Ive only been in Washington for a little over 2 months and this is my 3rd time trying out a nail shop. The first and second shop I went to, the ladies were so rough and hard on cleaning and cutting my toe nails but, here at Mina nails, the lady that was doing my pedicure was so nice, friendly, and gentle. I would definitely recommend my friends and family here. And I will most definitely come back here to start getting my nails done as well :)

Ive been here 2x going onto my 3rd. My sister took me here to get acrylics for the first time and they did amazing then 2nd time was for the refill and the way I wanted my nail color was difficult but it came out good not exactly the picture but not to far away from it. I get compliments on my nails all the time so I definitely recommend this place. Try to go early cause they get busy🤣🤣. Only bad experience I had was when they were drilling when I was getting a refill it started to hurt but the pain didnt last long.

I was a regular customer, usually had good customer service until today. After I said no to gel I was treated poorly, she was rude and doing everything in a rush. She did not file the fake nails to my real nail and missed another step on one hand. Definitely won’t be back.

Unless you have a lot of time to sit around waiting I wouldnt recommend going here. It seems there is a higher value placed on clients who walk in than on women who have been coming there for more than two years.I was left sitting in the chair with the foil and plastic things (powder dip) on my nails for an hour. After being told it would be 10 minutes after my pedicure was done I was left to sit for another 35 minutes before I left. I had talked with Mina on another occasion when a similar thing occurred.There are just too many other options for nail salons in Lakewood. Choose one of them.Update: I arrived at the studio at around 2:15, I left at 4:07 after receiving only the pedi and with acetone on my fingers for more than an hour. I know these times because of timestamps from my phone. I called my sister when I got there and called a different nail salon as soon as I got in my car.

So I’m super picky about how my nails are done. Im talking angle, color, shape. Everything has to be perfect. I just moved from Alaska so my nails haven’t been done mostly because I am very hesitant about paying for a crappy nail job. But I went to Mona and they paid a lot of attention to my nails. My cuticles and massaged my hands after. The color was done perfectly and no bubbles or scratches. They are shaped perfectly and it was very quick and super affordable.

I went a few years ago and it was ok, I couldnt make it to my usual shop so I stopped here. A couple staff members were sleep, my pedicure water was cold ( i asked twice for them to add hot water), they rushed on my feet not cutting the cuticle, nor did she do everything listed for the $30 pedicure.Not to mention she scrub the polish so hard that she rub my skin off causing it to burn. Also, they are unhygenic and it smelled like sewage. Disappointed.

This place is super unhygienic. The towels and the equipment they use are not cleaned properly. If you have any respect for your nails and your overall health then I would avoid this place.

Update: I went in late afternoon & they were hella busy but I didn’t mind the wait. I had broke 2 nails this week & one wasn’t completely off. When it was being taken off I hurt I mean it was glued to my nail it’s gonna hurt. But the man doing my nails just looked like it hurt him to hurt another person. Everyone is so sweet & no matter what they’re doing when I walk in I’m always greeted so nicely.I went in with a picture of the colors I liked... I left with better than what was in the picture. Everyone was so nice & I when I 1st sat down the lady next to had said she had been coming here for years, now I see why. I’m definitely coming back.

My Girlfriend invited me to this place to get a pedicure, we received the worse customer service,, they serve wine and we ordered a Merlot, one of the ladies served us a pink bubble wine my girlfriend told her that Merlot is red the girl argued that this strawberry looking pink wine is Merlot. They had a oder guy do my nails they looked the same as before when he got done, or wine war taking back and we were ignored nobody ever came back, my girlfriend complained to the owner and she replied that they are to busy, 3 different people worked at me, another customer just dryer her feet and walked out without paying, I cant believe the customer service this place is providing to customers

I gotta admit, the strip mall where Minas located isnt exactly high end but the selection of colors, the service, the appointment of the inside of the suite, and the service was top notch. I think I found my new go-to salon.

If I could give this place a 10 star I would, Right when I walked in I got warm smiles and was helped right away! I came for a full set and ended up getting a gel they recommend me and I am extremely happy I did that. The inside is beautiful!! This nails salon is a hit or miss Ive been here on plenty occasions in the past 2 years although I have not been completely satisfied with all my visits I do enjoy their environment for it is cleaner than most & they do have a great selection of gel colors. I would recommend they work on their customer service skills & work more efficiently on each customer a little more detail into their work would go a long way rushing only cause unsatisfied customer and injuries.

I went here awhile back. At first it was friendly until a lady who might have been a regular was wondering why the price changed. I could tell the staff was speaking badly about that person in their own language. I believe its very unprofessional to speak another language and ignore the person you are giving service to. I felt like a fly on the wall. Like I could have left and no one wouldve noticed. I ended up getting a pedicure and manicure. The nail plosih was put on so thick that I had to wait about an hour to dry. The next day I had smudges on my toes and fingernails. My nail beds were butchered. I wont be coming back. The customer service was terrible. I ended up taking off the nail polish the next day. Waste of money.

Nice people but Ruined my nails.I came in to get my dip powder removed, stated so with both receptionist and technician. The drilling should have been LIGHT followed by foil wraps for 10-15 min max (i have done this many times before). Instead my technician over drilled my right hands nails so badly it left several indents on my nails. When she began my left hand and nearly over drilled again i stopped her and stated that i would like to wrap now instead of continue drilling. She said these needed more drilling to come off easily since they are acrylic. What? First of all, how come as a technician she did not realize she was working with DIP POWDER instead of acrylic? Second of all, how did she not notice the damages to my nail??In terms of people are very nice, though im upset by the lack of skill and expertise.

I loveeee! I came in for the first time today into this super super cute & professional nail salon. Everyone is so sweet and you walk out feeling so good! I got the Delux Pedicure because I’ve worked a 90 hour week and my feet & legs were killing me. The 10 minute extensive massage was everything I needed.This will be my new go-to nail salon & I can’t wait to tell all my friends about it!

Dont go when its busy. The woman I had was incredibly nice and polite but she rushed through everything and the quality of the manicure I received was incredibly disappointing. She literally only painted my nails, no soak, no filing or cleaning, and she didnt even reach the edges but charged full price. I wouldnt have minded waiting longer to be worked on if the quality was there.
