My girlfriend and I had great pedicures today! Called to make the appointment yesterday and the process was very easy. Everyone we experienced here was friendly and professional. Made sure to set up our next appointment on our way out 😊

Opted to treat my mom to a Lux Manicure and get one myself to try it out.In order to book multiple people at the same time, you have to input each appointment separately. Not a huge deal, but can lead to some confusion - when we walked in, two stations were set up for pedicures. I double checked my email, not what we had booked.As we mentioned that we had booked manicures, it took a while for things to shift gears. We were told to pick colors for polish. My mom settled on a choice, and for the next few minutes we stood there twiddling our thumbs. The 3 employees at the time had gathered around the front computer to talk about various different appointments and cancellations for other days? After a few minutes of just awkwardly standing there, we finally got ushered back to the nail stations.Im not experienced with manicures (I intentionally didnt trim my nails prior), but as we sat, I asked for a cut and to clean them up - fully expecting that Id get a short, masculine nail with some clean nail beds. Instead, I got a little bit of filing done before the other steps. I didnt know the appropriate time to ask for them to actually be cut, so as we were finishing, I asked to trim just my thumb down. I got met with a Ah, you shouldve told me sooner. and then a tiny bit of filing. I wasnt going to ask for the other 9 fingers at that rate.With the Lux package, it includes a sugar scrub (approximately 30 seconds of rubbing your hand with some sugar that doesnt smell all that great) and Paraffin wax (which doesnt seem to have enough wax in the sleeve to actually coat your hand, nor does it sit for long enough to actually set up any appreciable amount). After the sugar scrub, I was directed to wash my hands. While I was doing that, the employee I was with went into the back room and started talking loudly to someone else. For a while. I grabbed what I assumed was a clean towel and awkwardly stood around again. Eventually, they come back out, and I get handed a clean towel for my already dry hands.The technician working with my mom was told, as she was applying the first coat of polish, that her next appointment was here. My mom had two coats applied and then oil sprayed on her hands as the final step, but there was no tissue or recommendation to wipe away the excess. When we got to our next stop about 15 minutes later, she had to finally use a tissue in my car to wipe her hands off.Overall, a less than mediocre experience. As a plus, everything looked clean. Outside of that, it just felt hasty and impersonal. Id look elsewhere in the future.

Worth it.Angela and Jenn did a great job and were very friendly.Im not the talkative type so Angelas calm and friendly demeanor worked well with me. ❤️Jenn was more talkative and upbeat, she was a great pair for my mom.Make sure to go to the website to check out service menu for what they offer along with pricing.

I was visiting from out of state and got my nails done here. I was impressed with the natural products and the service I got. The nail technician took her time and fixed my nails that were in bad shape. She recommended a product to help and my nails look amazing!

I received a wonderful shellac manicure from Jenn today. She did a great job, was very friendly and I will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been looking for a place like this for so long and finally found it!! Me and two girlfriends came this morning (Valentine’s Day) for a lady date. They were there waiting for us with smiles. Everyone was so kind and happy and the pedicures were exceptional. Not to mention during covid times they were doing contact tracing which made us feel super safe and everything was spotless and one use. We will come here a million more times and recommend to everyone!

After hiking, climbing, biking and lifting both my hands and feet really needed some attention! I am in Golden for 2 weeks so I wanted to find the best place around. I decided on Cara Nails and it was absolutely the best choice! I had Katelyn and decided on Shellac for my manicure and regular polish for my toes. Jenn was out front and is the nicest woman, genuinely interested in what you want and had some great opinions about the different foils they have. Sometimes you’re in the mood to talk and sometimes you’re not, I was tired of looking at my phone and I can say Katelyn and I had the most interesting, conversation about life, family, meditation and everything in between. Not only is she a great person, she is TALENTED AND A PERFECTIONIST! Everything looks perfect. I mean perfect. She is truly amazing and you won’t be disappointed. The salon is spotless. They (and us) wear masks the whole time. Definitely check this place out, both my fingers and toes look incredible!

Jen did a great job shaping and cleaning my nails! I also love the natural products, no nasty harsh chemicals and smells! My top coat has a few bubbles (she offered to fix it for me) but I am still pleased with the finished look! I appreciated her detail and the time she took on me! I will return, with friends! 😁

My friend and I go here and love it. I have personally been worked on by both Jen and Katelyn and both are great at what they do. They make you feel like they’ve known you forever and are incredibly easy to talk to. Jen made me feel empowered as a woman with what we talked about. Today Katelyn even took the time to tell me about a little way to start my day to get myself centered and more connected with myself. It was very nice and thoughtful and I loved that she did that. Of course I will continue to go back. Very clean and professional.

Cara Mia is a gem! The moment you walk in the atmosphere is organized and calm. With a complete selection of All-Natural CND Polish, gentle lotions and scrubs, a simple booking process, sanitation between clients and staff that treats you like family you could not go wrong getting a mani or a pedi at this place! The owner’s name is Jen and she goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure you leave happy. She is friendly and gentle. Azaria is the manager and she is the absolute best! She has an amazing personality, she is easy to talk to, attentive to my needs and fantastic at her job. I am always challenging them with crazy nail art ideas but they never disappoint! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place where you feel like family when you walk in and leave with beautiful natural nails!

Cara Mia is the most professional and friendly nail business I have ever encountered. I have been to many nail salons in many different states, and this one is by far the best. The quality is great and the service is outstanding. This is the first nail salon I have ever been to that I got a confirmation text! I highly recommend to anyone. The waxing is also top-notch. This is usually never the case! My new go to spot.

I absolutely love Cara Mia! The atmosphere is so relaxing and everything is very clean and organized. The brand of shellac they use is phenomenal, it doesn’t destroy my nails, and they soak it off rather than take it off with an electric nail file, which completely ruins the idea behind shellac. Azaria is the manager on the weekends, and also the most amazing nail tech I have ever had; HANDS DOWN! She is patience, personable and does such a fantastic job. My cuticles are always pristine and my nails look absolutely perfect, which is something I cant say about my experience at other nail salons, I will not be spending my money anywhere but Cara Mia. If you’re in the area, definitely stop in they will take care of you and you will leave feeling pampered with some fresh beautiful nails for weeks.

This place always does an amazing job, no mater which tech you choose. They are consistent and dont make you wait! Its exceptionally clean there as well! They use good quality products, CND products that are not generic or fake like other nail salons. It smells great in there as well and they dont ever rush while doing your nails. They are all very meticulous and spend time doing your nails. Their pedicures are also amazing! My nails always come out perfect! The workers are also very patient with you! Thanks to Covid 19, I recently found myself on the hunt for a new place to get my nails done. I found Cara Mia through Yelp and I’m so happy I did. I went to Jen for a shellac manicure recently and she did an amazing job. I liked her, and my nails, so much I made my follow up appointment before I left and I NEVER do that! I think I’ve finally found my forever place.

I had an eyebrow wax a few weeks ago and my eyebrows still look great! Katelyn was very relaxing and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Especially since I came in with the quarantine brows!

Katelyn is AMAZING such a sweet woman and this was the first time I actually received information about how my nails are shaped and what works best for my nail type. I love this place, very clean, kind, covid conscious and a wonderful experience! I will absolutely be back!

Alana did a wonderful job with my nails! I got shellac. She was gentle and made me feel pampered! I am definitely looking forward to my next visit. My daughter and I came in for a pedicure and from the moment I walked in the door I knew this was going to be a different experience. It was so clean and bright. Alana was fantastic and gave me ideas on how to fix a couple issues I am having with my feet. They are a non toxic establishment so no harsh odors. The best part...NO “Elaine experience!” 😀.

I came here with my daughter for a mani-pedi and we left very happy! Its very clean and the technicians were both meticulous and did an excellent job! There was nice music, the space was set up with social distancing, the color selection was great and our techs were very friendly and welcoming. I also love that their products are natural and that you dont get hit with the strong chemical smell when you walk in the door. Ill definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends!

Wow. Im SO excited about this salon! Jen was very welcoming & friendly. She did an amazing job on my bikini wax - they use the really nice, expensive hard wax (no strips) & a soothing lotion afterwards. I was very pleased with my experience! I also got a very thorough pedicure & the perfect gel manicure. Ive never had a manicure look this good or last this long! Everything in the salon is new & clean & lovely. Brought my daughter here for a mani/pedi and she really enjoyed it.The place was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly. My daughter enjoyed having April do her fingers and toes.The shellac polish on her fingernails lasted a week before beginning to slightly chip, as well as the regular polish on her toes.I would definitely recommend this place.

Got a mani & pedi done. Was able to get an appointment same day ( I was lucky, the are usually booked out) I got Katelyn as my tech. She helped me narrow down the color I wanted for my nails. I was getting shellac on my fingers and regular polish on my toes. She was very good and I appreciate her recommendations for the shape on my finger nails and why it would look nice. Finally, we get to my pedi and she was gentle and did an amazing job on my feet. Again she recommended the shape for my toe nails and how they can prevent in grown nails. Since I was having problems with that and boy did I feel a big difference after she was done. I really like coming here and not have to worry about the smell of strong chemicals, like other nail salons. Highly recommend this place and Ive worked with their other techs too and all are very good. If you want that extra love, I will be asking for Katelyn

Katelyn was my nail tech for the second time and she does a wonderful job! They are slightly more expensive than other salons, but after visiting a few others in the area I went back to Cara Mia. They do an excellent job and the facility is very clean.

I hate leaving reviews. I find them very helpful but i never return the favor...until today. I had an amazing essential manicure with shellac and essential pedicure with Kaitlyn. She was extremely kind (not to mention talented) and asked me questions I’ve never been asked before at a nail salon to be better personalize my services and my experience. Her attention to detail was on another level, along with her amazing disposition. I will come back for another amazing mani pedi as soon as I can. The salon is clean and peaceful, never feeling salesy or pushy. With Kaitlyn, you’re in good hands! :)

One of my bestfriends and I went to get Lux mani/pedis on June 14th and had an awesome time! The moment you walk in the door you are greeted and explained how to pick out the polishes, I love that they use CND products, great polishes and better for your nails. Its very open clean space, super relaxing! Good lighting with no harsh smells! Very natural! My nail tech, Azaria did an amazing job, easy to talk too and had great attention to detail when polishing, very clean work! I enjoyed the services, I will definitely return again! TRY THEM OUT!

I have been going to Cara Mia for a few months, and this nail salon is so wonderful! I love how clean it is and the ability to book appointments online. Azaria always does an amazing job with manis and pedis and is very detailed and cares so much about her clients! Jen also does an amazing job with waxing - my eyebrows always look great when I leave and the wax she uses is great because it doesn’t stick to your skin as much! I went there this morning to get my toenails done they were super nice and friendly talk to me the whole time and use the correct clean equipment as well as let me go home with some equipment so I can take care of myself as well instead of using the wrong stuff I absolutely love this place and will be returning totally recommend!!!

My shellac polish is still going strong after almost three weeks. No chips or lifting on the sides or bottom. And I spent days in the ocean and in the pool with it! Will definitely be back for future mani pedis!
