We were here on vacation and due to Covid we are limited on nail salons at home. I was happy I found the shop and made an appointment. I cant tell you what an amazing job they did. Salon is extremely clean and attention to detail to making sure the customer felt welcomed was quite evident on my visit.

Today went in for and Express pedicure and a dip best service Ive hadProfessional spa but still laid back and relaxing.

This place was not your typical nail and spa joint. It was well put together, clean, organized. Didnt look like your typical nail joint all cluttered and thrown together like its in someones apartment. My wife always wants me to get a pedicure and chill with her every few weeks and this was a great place to go. I would for sure come back here again 5 stars!

Dont waste your time making a appointment they never honor it. Its happened more than once and this time was the last. The shop does not value your time. They need to get more professional and take care of customers. I say stop giving them your business! Maybe if people stop going there they might change their attitudes and value the customers.

I brought in a photo of the gel manicure I wanted and the young woman I worked with was so patient while we found the right colors to match. She was also gentle on my cuticles after I explained that they’re sensitive and bleed easily. She did a great job on my nails and they still look perfect after a week. Will be back!

A good friend of mine recommended I go Magic Nails to get mine done. I have been coming back every since. They always do a wonderful job on my nails, but they are also extremely accommodating and friendly to everyone. They are very clean and professional also. I have already been telling people where I get my nails done and will continue to highly recommend and bring others with me to the salon. Dana did my nails this last time who is absolutely amazing, but that does not take away from the other techs who I have also worked with who did great as well

I’ve been coming to this salon for several years. It is well organized, very clean and the management and staff are very professional. They take their time and they make sure you’re satisfied with the service. I occasionally visit other salons while traveling and am always disappointed. It’s hard to beat the service and quality of this salon.

Honestly the best pedicure I’ve ever had! The employees are very kind and welcoming from the point when you walk into the store until when you leave. Also, the store looks neat and clean it really was something out of this world.

Im really disgusted, I went to this place for a shellac manicure (october 21) but this just work fine about 3 days! After that I had to put it off!

This place is hands down the WORST salon I have ever been to. I’m gonna let you know right now to just go somewhere else.I made an appointment for myself and a friend, came early, and waited awhile before we got seen. Then they took my friend. A few minutes later they took a walk in. And I just there waiting. So I went and sat by my friend and few minutes after that the man that does nails here came up to me and asked if I was getting my nails done. I told him I would like to.He then took me to a desk far from my friend (when the one next to her was empty) which was really frustrating.I do understand they have their own individual desks with their own tools. But I made an appointment with a friend, to get our nails done TOGETHER. So what was really annoying.Now the guy that did my nails was something else. He was rude, disrespectful, and distracted. He electric filed right on my cuticle line which hurt. He also asked me three times if the length was okay and all three time I said yes it is good I like the length. And he took all my nails down anyways. Like what? Why?Anyhow. When he was done with a hand he would just kind of throw my hand down. After I came back from washing my hands he was sitting on his phone. And no joke I sat in front of him waiting for two minutes and some change while he just sat there on his phone. That really pissed me off. Lastly. I guess I got the right number but wrong brand for the gel polish I was getting, and he was super rude about that and blamed it on me. Even though I told him that one of the lady’s helped me and I showed her which one.Now my friend said she had the owner that sits right behind the check in desk and said that she was rude and aggressive. That he over filed her cuticles, made them BLEED, then blamed it on her saying that she washed them too hard. Seriously, that she washed her hands too hard.I will never go here again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

This was the absolute worst pedicure Ive ever had. My daughter and I were walk ins and were rushed through picking colors and type of pedicures we wanted. The technician I had cut my nails straight across but never filed then so I had to at home later. She put one very thin coat of polish on. So thin you can see my nail in spots. She barley touched me for the foot massage and then sacked my leg and the bottom of my foot twice each with the back of her hand. Then she tried to undo the straps on my sandals to put my foot in so I didnt use their disposable ones. I asked her not to as I was still breaking them in and didnt want the straps adjusted. My daughter got a slightly better massage but not by much. SHE ALSO GOT ATHLETES FOOT!! Then the woman decided to give me a dirty look when I said only a $10 tip for both techs. Shes lucky I have one at all.

Worst experience ever, nail guy cut me twice, one really deep and then made the acrylics too thick and the white for the pink and white was too thick and most of the nails werent square shaped by the time it was time to file. I was done and my hand was so shaky. I was in alot of pain from the cut caused by the electric file I just wanted to go home. I appreciate him being patient. And for not charging me for the services. But I told him in the beginning exactly what I wanted and how I wanted them in detail. Thank you for your patience and time but i will not he back. It was an overall horrific experience

I have been a customer of Magic Nails (the Colfax location in Lakewood, Co) since they opened in the early months of 2013 and this business is by far the BEST nail salon Ive ever been to. Their customer service, professionalism and consistency in service is far beyond any nail salon Ive experienced in the past 20 years of getting my nails done. Dana, the owner, cares about her clients and employees and will always strive to make each person who walks into her doors a happy customer. Tonight, I arrived 30min before closing (which they will never deny any customer even when they walk in during the hour of business closure) and had the pleasure of having Molly (a new nail technician) service my shellac manicure. While the turnover rate is very low; as many employees have stayed with Dana since they opened, I left extremely satisfied after a very detailed 65min manicure by a new employee. This particular nail salon goes ABOVE AND BEYOND each and every visit...new customers & technicians or old. I appreciate their service and customer care more than anything. You truly get what you pay for. I will never go to another nail salon as long as Magic Nails is open. Thank you to all the hard working employees who work very hard and selflessly each and every day! Magic Nails deserves 10 out of 10 stars!!

Made an appointment for three of us and was told we would be able to be seen two at a time. We waited for a long time and then only one of us was able to go at a time. The nail tech did a very sloppy job and after the third time asking her to clean up the nail polish from my skin and cuticles, she asked me if I wanted to do it myself. I ended up removing all the polish completely and leaving without anything since it was so terrible. She still charged us almost full price?!? The other two people in my group also had sloppy manicures but were too polite to say anything.

The first time I actually went to this salon and I wasnt impressed at all with the customer service I had a scheduled appointment at 5 and I honestly didnt get out of this place until 8:30 I was so thrilled because I got there and I thought man this is a five star review place but there was no 5 star about it. the young lady that did my nails she did a good job but the customer service they really have to work on, as well as listening to their customers wants and needs

Got a gift card for this place and took myself out for a pedicure. They have a full menu of different treatments with fantastic aromatherapy elements. I left happy & relaxed with beautiful toes. Highly recommend.

By far the best nail salon that I have ever gone to. I found them several years ago by accident and have never gone anywhere different, it is well worth the hour drive every two weeks. The entire staff is so friendly and always greets me by name as soon as I walk in. They all know what pedicure I like and how to do my nails. Would recommend this place over and over again.

My eyebrow is gone! Huge disclaimer I have terrible cuticles. Last two times I have spent about 2 hours there just getting a gel manicure.(Molly does perfect manicures just takes some time but you will not be disappointed ) Fine... cool I get it my cuticles are outrageous and just terrible. I let the owner do my eyebrows..... she didn’t wipe off my makeup like she usually does maybe she was in a rush today but my eye brow is gone.... GONE! Yea nope never going back.......

They were too busy to take care of us. we had a 3:00 appointment, they took others that didnt have an appointment before us and finally got to us 45 minutes late. The gal who took care of me and my pedicure almost had me in tears she was poking and digging and gouging my toes. She cut my toenails so short that it hurt for a week as they grew out. The gal who did my nails talk me out of the color I wanted and into color she wanted. Simply not a happy experience. Ill never go back

Love this place I get my nails done all over the U.S. as a trucker but when im home I always stop here. The nails are durable and survive my job. If your an active lady or work with your hands a lot you wont be diaipointed. They now have glow in the dark nail powder like 20 shades to choose from! and I love it. Perfect for Halloween but I love it year round.

Its pretty hit and miss. I keep going because the price is right, but days like today I almost look worse than I leave. The picture is from todays fresh pedi - the nail tech nipped me at least five times with the cuticle clippers, and the polish is not applied well.

The nail technicians are always very helpful here. Prices are reasonable and a wide color selection.

Terrible customer service Dana the “manager” made me feel stupid for asking questions about prices and the tech I had in seat 5 cannot do coffin shape also didn’t even let them dry fully before telling me they were and walked 5 feet and got ruined!! Do not go here! Only pedicures I would say they were nice but do not do nails they are rude and only want you to only get expensive things. I just wanted a simple color for Easter since I would be changing colors soon and was very disappointed with both customer service also with the quality of how they came out!!! If I could put -0 I would!!

Ive been coming here for about a year. Everytime Ive had great service. This place is usually very busy which is a good sign because they do a good job. So just know that youll probably have to wait. I normally get gel manicures but I have also had a pedicure as well. They have both been great.

Beautiful interior however every time I go in, there are extra charges for every single type of nail polish I pick out, regardless of the brand. Today I got the sloppiest pedicure I have ever had in my life. Seriously, I could have done a better job on my own.

Stopped by yesterday, disappointing. I had gel nails removed and redone. The guy kept scraping my nail tops with the file and after redoing my gels my nails are so thin they keep bending both forward and backwards. They chipped within a half hour of leaving this place. This morning I ended up cutting my nails as short as possible due to the nonstop bending on a sport length nail. What a waste of money.

My aunt made an appointment for her nails and she has been going to this place for over two years so she know that she has to make an appointment; she was asked to leave half way her service because they had someone else for the 3:00 pm appointment. She was asked to leave!! Customer service 101: never ask a customer to leave when the service has already begun.

I had my first manicure and pedicure. The price was fairly reasonable because the service and the amazing job the workers did was great!

The man who did my nails was the absolute worst technician I have ever had. He was rude, sarcastic and just downright mean.He had double booked a few customers and when they came to tell him, the told them it was their own fault.I told him the length I would like my nails and he blatantly ignored me and cut them down to my skin.He rolled his eyes constantly, and used his phone often.I was even supposed to get my toes done, but I told him no thank you after he finished my nails.The other lady technicians seemed very sweet but I will honestly never go back to this place because the man who did my nails was absolutely horrible and ruined my experience.If you do go here, make sure you have one of the women do your nails. You will be extremely unhappy and leave in a bad mood if it is the male technician.

Bad customer service. Arrived before four other people who did not have appointments as well and all were called back before my sister and I. They acted very bothered by our presence and my son who was with me. They rushed through my sisters nails and did them poorly and didn’t listen to what she asked for.

When I first starting coming here I went through 3 people before I found Dana who was wonderful. After months of going here and tipping well over 50% my nails (which were flawless for so long) started to be done VERY poorly. They were done with SUPER thin tips that would break the moment I got in my car, Bubbly nail polish, a design requested that a lady said she could absolutely do and then painted random crap on my nails, repeatedly done very pointy when I asked to be softer(more almond shape vs stiletto). I am almost positive I have been overcharged when doing a basic pedicure as well. This last time I was there I received a pedicure in a bowl that looked like it was not properly sanitized. (could it have been? Maybe.) 3 days after my french tip manicure (also wanted a small heart design but this salon is NOT competent with nail art from who Ive experienced.) my top coat turned yellow. I did not use self tanner or anything like that. The top coat simply stained almost immediately. I am VERY disappointed Ive spent so much money and time in a salon that has repeated messed up my appointments and nails. I will sadly not be returning after this series of events. I used to adore this salon and brag about it but no longer have good things to share about this place. It has gone downhill.

Never never again. Made my nails so thin they didnt last. And the shape was not what I asked for. The lady wouldnt talk to me. She would listen to me. So i didnt leave her a tip expect to tell her she needs to listen to her people more.

Ive never had such a rushed pedicure. Every single thing was rushed and not cared for. I havent treated myself to getting a pedicure in months and it was Probably max 10 minutes and I payed for the Floridia autumn which is supposed to be deluxe. Immediately my sister and I were rushed out of the chairs and urged to pay. For 38 I would expect more care and service. Definitely wont be recommending or coming back

Parafin wax is recycle - reused one. You paid much for the nasty contamination wax on your feet. That is absolutely unethical. They just want your money. Do not come there for pedicures which are not worthy.

The only reason I will give 2 stars is because the pedicure was done well, but my manicure is awful. It was just a simple change of polish and it looks like it was slapped on in the dark. The top coat is uneven and does not even go all the way back to the cuticle, and it left a ridge of uneven paint on EVERY nail. What a waste of time and money.

Never going back, nor should you. I purchased a manicure for my Mother in law for her birthday in August and she finally went in to get it in September. When I purchased over the phone they assured me my name and her name would be all they need, however when she showed up they accused her of lying and steeling. I called to try and straighten it out, pulled my bank statement and sent it to them, they said I must have called a different Magic Nails and made my Mother in Law pay while publicly embarrassing her in the salon. I worked with my bank and sure enough it was the same place and I disputed the charge. The worst part is the nail tech did a good job, but the manager was rude, insulting and unapologetic in her treatment of my Mother in law.

I went into Magic Nails and Spa about a year ago. I wasnt too impressed so I hadnt gone back until late last week for a pedicure. I thought Id give it another shot. The pedicure was great. I went to pay i was given a price, gave my card, etc. Then another lady came back to me saying they put special polish on my toes to help it last longer so there was an extra cost. I was annoyed because I should have been asked if I wanted this special polish especially if it was going to cost me extra prior to them just putting it on. However, I paid it. My polish has smeared and chipped in two different places since leaving even though I paid for special polish for this not to happen. I doubt I will be returning to Magic Nails and Spa.

DONT GO HERE THEY HAVE HIDDEN CHARGES!!! THE AMOUNT CHANGES EACH TIME!!! The male who works there is awful, rude, judgemental, and he was using profanity the whole time! This company is extremely unprofessional. I walked in for a pedicure and a removal of my acrylic nails. As the lady was doing my pedicure I told her twice that I would like the removal of my acrylics and what the total price would be. Once my pedicure was over she switch me off to a different male. Where I told him I would like a removal and he disregarded everything I said and just did a rebase. Which then at the end my price was $45 dollars more than expected and they refused to lower the price because they provided a service I didn’t want. So then when I said that’s okay then just remove them so I don’t have to pay this crazy amount they refused to and started screaming. They don’t care about there customers!

Not only was my full set over priced (60 bucks) but the tips kept coming off while she was buffing it and she just held them down....no glue.....and she kept getting my finger caught on the buffer....overall not happy...gaps in between the tips and my natural nails....

I went in for gel manicure and the end result didn’t look very nice. There were air bubbles and the polish was pretty streaky and see through. I didn’t have an issue with the experience or customer service but to have paid $30 for nails to look like I did them is very disappointing. I won’t be returning or recommending.

Im new to Golden and tried this nail salon 3 times. The first I walked in the others I had an appointment. But each time I waited in the chair for over 20 minutes until someone could start on my pedicure/manicure. Thats too long. It happened each time. On my 4th visit I got up and left after waiting more than a half hour.

I have used several different ladies who have done my nails there with mixed results. I have nails that lasted 5 weeds from them, and nails that broke or chipped in just a few days. There are some very talented people there for sure, but not all of the girls that do the nails are good. I have discovered who is the best there and she is always busy, and hard to get an appointment with because she is really good. (Sorry, my secret, I want to be able to get an appointment with her, LOL). The prices and the location are good. The place is clean and well organized. Love the package deals for a mani-pedi.

Honestly I would leave zero stars worst customer service! I brought my three girls to get their nails done before school starts tomorrow. I scheduled three mani pedicures we were not greeted and waited 20 minutes...meanwhile my kids were getting antsy. An employee came a told my toddler to Shhh right In her face. If they didnt take every possible walkin they probably would have time for scheduled appointments!!! Rude staff and very unprofessional. I wanted the girls to have to have full mani and pedis but theyve painted their nails and toes in the lobby! Im not the only person who waited this long! One lady waiting for 1 1/2 hours. Still waiting for my 5 year old the lady started her and left to finish another client. I would leave but I promised she could get her nails done before school starts! So ridiculous Ill never come back! If it wasnt for customers you wouldnt have a business you rude unprofessional idiots! All customers even children are paying customers. You should respect us and our time!

Nails polish chipped off by next morning! Looks horrible - going to wedding so I had to remove it and repolish myself. Same thing with daughters ... not worth the $100 plus tip I paid! Any place would be better than Magic Nails!
