Usually a decent place but yikes. No consistency.. I came in for a fill yesterday which was cute...one broke...my replacement doesnt even cover my whole nail area and its a completely different direction. Looks ridiculous head on.

I’ve been going here for 2 years, and have consistently gotten the most detailed and exacting service. I like my nails simple - but perfect, and Hi Tek Nails delivers on that. I regularly get compliments on my nails - I want to say every other day, but I have a very public heavy job. TK and Dan are always very careful about shaping my nails to fit my hands - my job can be very physical, so they need to be tough enough to stand up to that. I haven’t had a nail snap when they do it! But they look natural! Do call ahead and make an appointment; just to make sure you can get all the services you need. They’re really busy, deservedly.

I really like it Here but I always have the same person and they dont finish the job and makes my nails look clumpy, But they are very nice people and a very nice place

The service and work here is always great! They are super busy most of the time, so they ask that appointments are made. I really appreciate that they honor these appointments, getting you in ASAP. I won’t be going anywhere else for my nails.

My partner and I just went today. My partner was a bit nervous as he’s never had a pedicure done. The staff there was incredibly friendly and provided a fun and relaxing experience for us at a great price! We both love our pedicures!

This nail salon is terrible. Durning pedicure water was to hot and they did nothing. Then tech put hot wax on at the end after applying fresh paint and left it sitting for 5 minutes. The applied so much oil to my skin it looked like vegetable oil! Tech was rude and did not listen to anything I said. Trash a**pedicure !

I’ve been disappointed by MANY nail salons in the area, but not this one, this one is my new go to nail salon. Super good quality nails, they were ALL nice and sweet in there and very professional at the same time. They had more precautions against Covid then most other salons do. And get this, GREAT price 💯👍🏼

Yesterday was my 3rd time visiting & since then Ive had great experiences ❣ They always meet expectations & they take there work to perfection . If they see something is out of shape or uneven they will quickly fix it instead of leave it like some places . I dont really have an issue with nails falling off either and I do a lot with my hands because of where I work .

As soon as your toes are painted(with regular nail polish) they rush you out the door before the polish is dry. Have never had a salon do that before. Guess they are trying to make as much as they can.

Very friendly staff. Great pedicures at a great cost. I took my 3 daughters here for pedicures, the 4 of us had amazing pedicures for $115! This included wax, hot stone massage and polish ❤️

They do a good job on your nails, but even if you tip good... They will start treating you poorly once you become a regular. Plus, if you like your nails simple every time, they will try to make you do something different and up the price. I tipped good, but the price went up for me every time. So I stopped doing business with them.

I liked the place, l came from Houston after having my nails done for Christmas, they where messed up, but when l came to Lakewood Washington, Hi, Tek nail. The y fixed my nails until now l admire my nails. Like now is two weeks past. Excellent job, professional.

I recently moved to the area, and I’m so glad I found this place. Best pedicure I’ve ever had. The place is small and not the fanciest, but the massage chair was so comfortable and I loved the settings (other places I have been I didn’t like them). And the hot stone massage and wax foot wrap felt amazing, and my feet feel silky smooth now! Everyone here was very friendly, I’ll definitely come back!

They do not clean there tools very unsanitary my nails got infected I went to see TK he toldme to wait for my nails to heal before I take them off and next time he would do my nails free. I went back 2 weeks later and he did not keep his word. I have been getting my nails done for years and never had a issue. The people here are very unprofessional and extreamly over priced. Do not waste your money here.

I came here after hearing so many good things about this place, and since many reviews mentioned TK, I specifically asked for him. He is amazing! He is one of the most detailed nail techs Ive ever come across! He made sure every nail was the same shape and length, he was funny and nice. I will definitely be going back and I will ask for him every time I go. I loveee my fall nails and have gotten lots of compliments on them!(For those of you who like to know prices, I paid $50 for this full set, not included the tip)

My first visit was amazing. Came back for a fill and was treated terribly and my nails looked awful. Decided to give them another chance and was disappointed again. They are incredibly rude, and make you feel rushed. My nails looked terrible. They were different shapes, bumpy and they didn’t even put polish on the whole nail.

I LOVE this place. I go every 2 weeks for my gel manicure and my nails always look fantastic. Call ahead and make an appointment though (trust me) I got them done last week and they even fit me in for a last minute pedicure as well.

New to the area, found Hi Tek, absolutely LOVED the place. Got a full set with design-TK hooked me up! Gave me exactly what I asked for & a young lady named T gave me the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had. They were friendly from the minute I called to make my appointment to the minute I walked out the door. I will 110% be back. Thanks guys!

Felt extremely rushed not professional. My nails looks horrible :( I have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon. High prices for the quality that you are getting. We even complained at the end and the manager just shrugged her arms. My nails are already chipping and they look bumpy. My nail polish was still stuck to my skin at the end. WillNever go here again.. If you guys are looking in the area for a nail salon just go around the building there is another nail salon on the other side, I had a much better experience there. Oh and for Covid happening it was very unsanitary. :( very disappointing....

Not to be confused with New Hi Tek Nails on Bridgeport....Been going here for years never had a bad experience...love Michelle at Hi Tek Nails for ALWAYS having my eyebrows on point...she also does my nails and with a large selection of colors it’s hard to make a decision what to choose from...I have tried the glow in the dark colors which are fun and the colors are cute...my new favorite is the powder chrome colors...I like using the gel polish because of longevity and the gel mood changing colors I can’t get enough of...Hi Tek Nails also have mood changing colors in regular polish...the pedicures are relaxing especially when the warming stones are used and the parrafin wax foot dip afterwards leaves your feet very soft and smooth...highly recommended making an appointment because they stay busy and I highly recommend going their for a day of pampering yourself.

My nail technician did a perfect job. And when I say perfect I mean he took his time and corrected slip ups and re examined my nails as he went along. I was very please with his work and the result. Thank you so much. I got a fill done with a clear pink polish.

Absolutely Love this place. I have been going here for over a year now and every time has been great. I get a simple gel manicure and they do a wonderful job each time. My manicures last weeks! My nails grow out before the nail polish chips. Im very active with my nails and they break easily so having a strong manicure really makes it so i can grow my nails out. The staff is always friendly and does their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible. They also dont charge an arm and leg either. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a go to nail place.

Very good service here. I love Tk and Dan, they do super good work. They ask at all the steps how you like it, and they conversate too its nice. Theyre pretty busy tho, especially on weekends. I would highly recommend making an appt. Before hand.

I had my nails painted with gel nail polish that chipped and started coming off within a week. It wasnt even painted all the way. It looked as though I needed a filling. And these were my natural nails. The service was a paraffin mani pedi and my feet wasnt even scrubbed. I had the feet painted by a young lady who had been there 7 months. And my nails painted by TK who has been in the profession for 2 years. I paid $80 it was sooo not worth it. I will never go back again. And dont recommend this place to anyone.

Pedicure was absolutely pedi was absolutely amazing, the lady who did it I will go see again. However.. the gentleman who did my dips, terrible. I got them done 2 days ago and theyre a cracking and werent buffed out so I have rough patches on 7 of my 10 fingers.. only did 2 dips per finger.. after I pointed it out, he buffed only one and didnt shine it afterwards. ..

An amazing experience. Callee for an appointment and got in same day. I am a terrible nail biter and was able to do gel extensions that leave me feeling like I have nails that are beautiful. The woman who did my nails was gentle, kind, and very detailed.Very quiet in the shop. Definitely interested in coming back again in the future!

I went in for an acrylic but overlay to begin with spent 45.00 for a nail take off new set and gel french tip/hombre. I broke one half way down into my real nail and went back in for a take off and gel paint because it was broken too low to repair. I was charged 35.00 for nail removal and hombre gel paint. Horrible quality and prices dont even make sense.

Not really feeling the vibe when I first walked in. Wanted to get dipping powder done, but I was told that they can only do it on short nails. Not at all what I expected to hear from a nail salon. Been to many nail salons all over and I never had someone say that. They look like they do a really great job too, but I will not ever find out.

Great pedicure here! They went all out with a hot stone massage and paraffin wax treatment. I loved every minute and the price was totally reasonable. I didnt get a name, but the lady who did my pedicure was fantastic!

Wish i could post a picture but they did my thumbs crooked and after asking one of the men to fix it that was doing my nails said that it was my finger that was crooked . And never fixed my issue, now on the third day of having full set i have had 3 nails break just the tips . So they were not done correctly .

My nails look nice, but not $53 for a fill nice. Especially considering the fact that I could tell that my nail tech was not that experienced. The last time I came in I got hologram powder color by someone that I could tell was more experienced and I paid less than I paid this person. I have been getting my nails done every three weeks for the last 25 years and I can tell you as a business owner myself that it is better to charge a customer a fair price and see them more often than to charge them a lot and see them less. He was clearly very proud of himself as he decided to charge me as much as he felt he could get away with without me objecting to it. If I decide to go back to this nail salon I will ask for someone more experienced and I will ask the price in advance. I did not tip as I felt he included his tip in the price of my fill, and I am normally an excellent tipper.

I called this morning for an appointment and they got me in within a couple hours. I asked for a powder dip manicure and gel pedicure. They did an absolutely amazing job! I have definitely found my go to salon!!

The best nails salon that I’ve been to. I simply went for gel french pedicure and chose to get a manicure done too after they did such a superb job on my pedicure. I love the offered mimosas and their staff was extremely friendly. Also, the whole salon was clean, has spa similar feel, and the chairs were very comfortable.

I have gone to several nail places and this is the best one I have been to and I wont go anywhere else. They are very friendly and do great work. My nails last longer here than any of the other places. They always make sure you are happy with their work and you always go home satisfied. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

I got a simple shellac ($25) and regular pedicure ($25)I’m particularly blown away with the pedicure. Not sure if they were just being nice to me but I was treated with hot paraffin wax and a hot stone leg/foot massage! All for $25?! I’ll definitely be back!! :)

Asked me all kinds of questions about what I wanted done and then asked me when I could be there and I said about 20 minutes and he was like no that is too late sorry. You have to be here in 5 minutes or it’s too late. It was 5:00 when I called and they don’t close until 7:00. What tf was I “too late” for?? Used to like this place but after that, I won’t be back.

I went to get a mani/medi, when I arrived home and had my glasses and was able to bend down look at my pedicure, there was blue nail polish all along each the surroundings of my toes. He had not removed all the blue polish off before applying the coral colored polish. My finger nails, the same. Very disappointing. I paid $50.00 for this, and had given $10.00 tip for my services, only to discover in normal lighting it was not a good. Also I saw that on two of my fingernails, the colored coral polish had not covered well and you could see through it almost to the natural color of nail.

Racists, I went to this nail shop 1/2/2019 as aawalk in, I was just going to do a color change on my toes and nails, I decided to get a fill and a pedicure. I was told by the Owner of this nail shop that they were all booked for the day, mean while it was 330 pm and they had 4 staff members, I told them ok, and left. I wanted to know how much for eyebrow wax so I went back. There was a Caucasian customer that had just walked up right before I walked in. I heard one of the nail tech tell her that her wait will be 15 minutes. I asked her did she have an appointment she told me no!!! The nail tech tried to justify would that just happened. Its a shame, to be treated unequally. However got always works out theres a nail shop right by Starbucks in Lakewood that has a full set and a pedicure for $30. That is pretty cheap and they did a well job!!! Disrespect does not have to be tolerating racism doesnt either dont deserve American dollars if this is how you are going to act.
