Honest people in this jewelry store! I went in with a broken thin gold chain that I have worn every day I for nearly 40 years. He could have easily sold a new chain to me. Instead he said it was high quality and he repaired it! Beautiful job! Looks good as new!

Brought in a couple of my gold chains to get fixed and Leo was more than helpful! He went above and beyond to fix my clamps on my smaller chain and then was able to smooth out my rope chain that had a little metal prong poking out. Very thankful and happy I stopped by today. Almost immediate turn around. I highly recommend Leo and will be coming back for certain! Thanks guys!

Took my ring in to get it resized last Tuesday. They did a great job! Everyone who helped me was super friendly and sweet. Took about 3 days to complete and they shined it all up for me nice when I picked it up. Very fast and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back if I ever need repairs in the future. Had them work on my wedding ring in May 2021. It has been cut due to a medical emergency. They fixed and resized it. The work was excellent and the price was fair.In July I had them take a look at some diamond rings for quality and size. They did a great job explaining their findings and did not charge me a fee.Will definitely be back for any future jewelry needs.

I recently repurposed my wedding ring with a new stone. Leo was a joy to work with as I looked through many options. We looked at a variety of stones in person and online and I fell in love with a yellow sapphire. They resized my ring, replaced a small halo diamond and placed the new stone all for a reasonable price. Leo is clearly an artist of his trade and a kind person. Highly recommend!

I took a silver pendant in to have the loop replaced, they did a fine job with that. The issue I have is they put some black enamel on it to give it an antique look, which is horrid looking and I am trying to find a way to remove it. I wish someone would have called me to ask if I wanted this antique look, I would have said no.

I brought this watch in to have a link removed, Took the younger gentleman lots of time to get the job done. And not even 20 minutes after bringing it home the pin fell out of my link, that holds the links, thank goodness I was at home and over carpet as this could’ve been very tragic for both parties involved!

To whom it may concern,I had two Rosaries that were broken. I spoke to a man named Leo. Leo gave me some advice on repairing the Rosaries. I decided the one rosary was not worth fixing. Leo repaired the other Rosary without hesitation. He did not charge me anything. Great service.Thank you Leo. I will be coming back for some custom work.

Leo was amazing. My mom had repaired and resized her ring during Christmas in 2019. Since she had bent some prongs. We took it back to Lakewood Jewelers and Leo quickly reset the prongs double checked the setting and cleaned it. All complimentary!! We will always be a returning customer. Amazing customer service!! I took a watch here to get some links removed, wanting to support a small, local business. The gentleman behind the counter asked if I could leave it which was fine. I called about it a few hours later and was told it wouldn’t be ready until the following day. I showed up the next day an hour before closing time and it hadn’t been touched. I asked him to give it back and took it to another local jeweler who had it done in 5 minutes.

I needed to get a very important gold chain repaired. The service here was fast and very well done, I could not even tell where the original break was on the chain! And the repair ended up being about half what I was expecting it to cost! Staff was knowledgeable, kind and professional. I will definitely come back here for all of my jewelry repair needs.

The worst customer service ever! They kept a ring for over 6 weeks that needed the onyx replaced. I was told it would be finished in 10 days to two weeks. I had to call after 3 weeks to check on it. I was told that the price would be $100 more then I was originally quoted and they needed my approval before they could start the work. I asked why they never called me for approval since they had my number. The guy had nothing to say. I approved it and was told it would be 2 weeks. Well, 3 weeks later I call again and was told that there was something going on with where they get the onyx from and it should be finished in another 2 weeks. Again, I asked why I am never contacted with any updates and the guy that owns the place says nothing. I went in to pick up my ring and the owner couldn’t make eye contact with me or acknowledge I was even there. This place is absolutely awful and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone! You’d be better off replacing a stone yourself.

I brought in two rings that I inherited from my grandmother, one of which the band was completely broken/missing and the diamond prongs were in various directions. Lakewood Jewelers helped me obtain appraisals for the rings, fix the broken ring and clean the items. They were accurate on the timing of their services and always pleasant to interact with. I would not hesitate to use this store.

Joe and the crew were awesome. Brought them some diamonds that were my great, great grandmothers on my moms side and great grandmothers on my dads to have put in a ring. Needless to say it turned out amazing. I would absolutely recommend these guys for any custom or non custom work.

I was recently engaged, and required my ring to be sized down. After a Google search for “best jewelers in Lakewood, CO”, I brought my ring to Lakewood Jewelers. The moment I entered their shop, I felt welcomed. Every moment spent at this shop assured me that my ring would be handled with care and precision. The staff were knowledgeable, thorough, and above all... genuinely kind. It is hard to part with any prized possession for any length of time, let alone one such as an engagement ring. They took care in making sure I was comfortable with the new size, allowing me time to “him and haw” about which size I wanted. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything, or to purchase services beyond my need. They provided important information regarding the ongoing care and maintenance of my ring, and they offer free cleaning and inspection services.I was eager to get my ring back, so I showed up a little before my ring was complete. From the time I walked in the door until my transaction was complete, the process took an hour and a half. I couldn’t believe how fast I was able to get my back. You cannot tell my ring was altered, other than it fitting perfectly on my finger. I am now considering purchasing my fiancé’s wedding ring here, as I know I will be in capable hands. I highly recommend this shop, as their quality of service and care goes above and beyond the norm. You will not regret your time spent here.

Went there for a simple repair on a necklace. Not only was service fast and friendly, but the workers were genuinely courteous. They treated me like family and taught me things about my own jewelry I didnt previously know. I would recommend them to anyone!!

As a potential new customer, I called Lakewood Jewelers this morning to make an appointment regarding a platinum and diamond engagement ring. The person who answered the phone, who identified himself as Joe was literally the rudest person I have ever encountered on the phone. When he answered, I said good morning Joe, how are you?, and I sensed his attitude right away, and I said I had some questions, and he said yeah with attitude. I then asked, did I catch you at a bad time? (because of his incredibly rude tone and attitude), and he stated Yeah, its always a bad time when you telemarketers call. I then stated to Joe that I was a potential new customer, but his attitude didnt change, so at that point I stated to him that I didnt appreciate his attitude so I think Ill take my business to another jeweler. At that point, Joe just hung up the phone. If this is how this establishment treats potential customers, when you would think they would be on good behavior, WOW, I cant imagine what theyre like to work with once they have your money. I will never do business with Lakewood Jewelers, and will now make it a point to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience with this company, and I know a lot of people. Additionally, this business has only a cell phone as a contact, so I was unable to escalate this to a manager, or to the owner, Steve Hosie. Owner Steve Hosie posts positive accolades on his website, but obviously talk is cheap and this company doesnt walk the walk. We all have a choice, and there are many excellent jewelers out there, where new customers are welcome, Lakewood Jewelers unfortunately, is not one of them.

I have been to Lakewood Jewelers twice. The first time I went to have my ring sized down. They told me they charge by diamond, no matter how small they are. I had a nice diamond surround by a lot of little ones. They told me it would cost $750 dollars. I went somewhere else, and they charged me $35.Later I decided to give them another try. I had them change the battery in my husbands watch. Although the price wasnt bad this time, it took them over an hour. I guess if you are getting custom work, they may be ok. If you are looking for anything else, stay clear, and go somewhere else.

I have had a few peices of jewelry repaired here. They always do a great job and are very reasonably priced. Anytime you are there they will clean the jewelry you a wearing free of charge. They cleaned my wedding ring for me last time I was there and it looked as clean and sparkly as the day i got it!

Unique situation: Christmas Eve and I wasnt able to make it to Lakewood Jewelers in time to pick up my wifes Christmas present. My son had to catch a plane back to Virginia Beach for his Coast Guard deployment Semper Paratus the wife and I were at the airport with no chance of making it in time to get her Christmas present. What happened next left me dumbfounded!Steve had taken the time to drive to my house,taken time from his family on Christmas Eve to deliver my wifes Christmas present. I cant even begin to explain the joy and elation that had come over me (Im not the sappy type either).....If that wasnt enough folks, they took the time to wrap it..............WOW!!! Just WOW!!! I stumbled upon this place purely by accident. It was one of several jewlers in the area with good reviews. I had a tennis bracelet with 9 diamonds and a 1/2ct diamond pendent and i needed the diamonds reset into an engagement ring and a wedding ring. The rings, the price, the craftsmanship, the credit they gave me for my left over gold, everything about this place exceeded my expectations! My fiance absolutely loves her rings! I will be referring friends and family here in the future!

I would not recommend this company. Took my fiancé ring to get sized down and took them over 2 weeks to do the service. On top of that they charged us almost $300 for the sizing because they clam that they have to charge per little diamond on the band. The ring cracked within less the 6 months after being sized and when taking it to get fixed, they did not size it to the actual size we asked for. Our new jeweler fixed it and sized it again for $24 and had it done in 24 hours.

I came in to get my wedding ring fixed, as the prongs had quickly broken after being set on vacation. These guys are brilliant and more than fair. I will be using them exclusively. They do custom work, like I need, but I am guessing if you can dream it, they can make it reality. They stayed open late for us and gave me an education about the stone I love, opals, seems one of the guys loves them too. I learned more than that, but I also trusted them. When its something as precious as your wedding ring, trust is essential.I am sorry to write this addendum,and change my score, but I have a very good reason. I honestly liked these guys. However we use these reviews and put our time and effort into writing them for a reason. I still thought these guys were nice etc. What happened though is the new stone I provided, looked much, much worse (I love unique gems) I had bought a poor quality stone, lured by how inexpensive it was. So I ordered it to where I live and waited to get it in. It is a princess cut and there is no chance I an going to try and reset myself. Got the brush off when I called. The guy who answered said the store was closed. No info on when it would be back open or offered a message etc. Ok. So I called again and got put out a week and the charge was high. So I looked through reviews and found another. She called next day saying, she didnt crack my stone, princess are notorious for chipping, Jewelers often hide them with prongs. I was so upset my new rock was chipped. However that wasnt what she meant. She was worried that the other ugly rock was chipped and I might blame her, and no she hadnt done it. I called Lakewood Jewelers and asked to speak with the manager. He wasnt there so I told the gentleman on the phone what occured and why didnt they just tell me? I would not have been mad, I wouldnt have been mad if they warned me that I chose a sickly looking stone. He blamed it on someone who no longer worked there. Ok. I never got a call back. I left a message on their voicemail. You know they sent me away with a very sorry looking ring. I would have bought another stone. It wasnt terribly expensive and I wear it always. They didnt tell me they chipped it, were impossible to get help from. Then brushed me off. Who know what things were going on in their lives. Idk. Im sorry to change this, but honesty is the point to this. Use this place at your discretion.
