Im a BLACK CARD member, so I can visit different PF gyms as I travel. This Gym was a surprise right away because they have limited hours, shut down Black Card facilities 20 minutes before closing, and charge extra for the Tanning eye-foil covers. Then THEY TAMPERED with my Card so that NO membership showed up. This resulted in calls back to my originating CLUB and attempts to fix the card, but they TAMPERED with it AGAIN (It still works at other clubs), and then tonight they sprung the REASON. --- QUOTE: If I dont like coming in, getting Jerked around for my card showing NO membership, the Desk-Attendant said, I should change my base-club membership to this club. True Story. BTW, I dont have anything against the Club. Its very old, but prefer the older equipment because its a superior design. The truth is the short-hours and lack of proper service attitude by the staff are a deal-killer. FYI: 5-STAR reviews are almost always either FAKE, FAMILY or PAID-Off in some way. I would normally never give a 1-STAR review but SCAMMING My card andn hassling me to make me change to their GYM is about as low as it goes. Should by -10-Stars for that. Its sick & dishonest.

Outstanding atmosphere with an outstanding staff. The place is judgmental free with staff there to always answer your questions and the equipment is always up to date. This location always keeps everything spotless and in immaculate cleanliness condition.

The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They always welcome me and bid me farewell.Good gym environment and very clean. The manager does a good job of this. I only wish it was bigger!!! (As a gym rat!)

This planet fitness is the best planet fitness in the Denver metropolitan area hands down. A SuperCrew with fantastic knowledge of exercise machines and free weights. The staff of Brenda, Peyton, JR and Omar are sensational. You can always go and ask them for pointers and they will never turn you down. The place is always kept at a immaculate state of cleanliness. This is a first-rate planet fitness with a owner that cares about each member! A wonderful fitness Center that you will be glad you joined!

NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN!!I visited this location with a friend to see if it could be my new gym. All was well until an older man started visibly stalking a very young woman a cross he gym. He was making no attempt to hide the fact he that he was creeping. He was not in gym attire (a polo and denim shorts) and would blatantly stop to stare at the woman. When I alerted staff, all she said was I know him hes a good guy. The staff here does not care about preditory behavior and apparently makes excuses for it. I am disgusted. I wish I could give negative stars.

Will never recommend to anyone! False advertising. Online for this location it said a mask is not required whilst actively working out. I was confronted by an employee that I had to wear one whilst working out.To top it off you can’t cancel online. You have to go in or mail a letter. They do this on purpose because many people won’t go in or mail a letter to cancel thus paying for a monthly membership for who knows how long. What shady business it is.They told me that yes you don’t have to wear a mask whilst working out unless the local mandate states otherwise. Proof in the photos below from the recent mandate and updates for JeffCo. A mask is not required in indoor settings when 6 foot social distancing is happening. I was 6 feet if not way more from people when I was working out. The closest person to me the whole time was the employee that confronted me about the mask policy and they were probably only 1 foot from me.

Not only do I love this gym but what I love the most is how AMAZING all the staffs are. Always greeted with kindness. I go to this gym everyday and not once has anyone not greeted me. They make sure everyone is being safe by making sure everyone has their mask on. Always cleaning the equipments. I give them all credit for doing such a good job. This is definitely my second home.

The staff at this planet fitness keeps this gym so clean it’s wonderful! I would highly recommend joining or at least trying it out.

Was originally a member at PF but changed to a closer gym by my house. Came as a guest this time, overall the visit was great. Would have gave a five but they were missing the rope attachment for the cable machine.

Opening employee can not show up to work on time. The hours are posted at 5 am and its now 5:20 and still no one. This is very irritating since I can only go to the gym before work. Bad form planet fitness, if I were this late to work all the time I would get fired, I pay good money to be a member here...

I would highly recommend Chuze fitness over this place.The dishonesty in this place runs deep into the management. I called in September 2020 to begin the process of cancelling my membership. The gentleman that I spoke to insisted that I freeze for a few months as my annual fee had just come out. This is not something I wanted to do, after a couple no’s he stopped insisting and told me things would be cancelled. He then went and put something different into the notes, that we would be freezing the account and that is what I wanted to do. January of 2021 the freeze came off the account and I was charged again. I had already purchased a new membership with a different gym because of the conversation that we had. After the January charge I called back in to have things cancelled, neither of these gentleman that I spoke to brought up needing to come into the gym or mailing a form to cancel the membership, and my mistake of not going online to find out how difficult it is to get out of this membership. This second gentleman also let me know he’d go through and cancel things. Now it’s February 2021 and I’ve been charge again. I call back in and after getting very heated, and rude(probably busy as she said she was the only one staffed(why?) at that point in time), yelled that I would need to come into deal with things. I called in later to speak with a manager during my 30 minute lunch(I work 5-6 days a week 10-15 hours and this is what I’m dealing with for my 30 minutes of leisure). The manager from the beginning of the conversation was extremely rude and unprofessional, which makes sense as he “trained everyone in that building personally”. Overall, there are much better gyms for the same price, Chuze, and there are other Planet Fitness with staff who have some decency and customer service ability. But this place has some of the most rude individuals I’ve ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Go somewhere else for your own good.-someone who doesn’t post reviews, but even more so doesn’t want people to get skrewed.P.S. I really feel for Brenda the woman who yelled at me on the phone. If she was really the only one staffed, that’s some poor management and a testament to the overall cleanliness and function of this management and location.

Im training in here for like 4 months, and one time I made a chest exercise and I get more weights, and for sure make some noise. (I not a kind person grunt in gym) and the employee come to me for call my attention for grunt. And in the same gym the people talk so loud, jeans clothes. (I really don’t care) I Need used my AirPods in the hi volume. If want made a physiotherapy maybe can be good. Find another one right now. (Is totally judgement place)

Moved last year to Oregon and because its not my home base hub like the Colorado location I was limited how much I could go to the new location. With COVID-19 the location near me closed and I found out I was still getting charged. I went to cancel (which you cant do online) and they said I have to send a letter in order to cancel? So I can sign up in 4 clicks, but to cancel I have to send a letter? What is this the 80s? Shady business model and they should be ashamed. Laid off and barely surviving and they dont care they just want my money.

So far so good...came in fathers day and got a tour of what they offer, signed up and started working out next morning. Gym was open right at 5am. So far the staff has been polite and answered the few questions I had.Gym is clean, staff is wearing masks and overall Im happy with my decision to become a member.

This is my 2nd gym. My back up gym. Its walking distance so when the winters are too risky to drive to my #1 gym i go here. It really a nice super clean new equipment gym.

Went in to this location for the first time and won’t be back, dude at the front desk who claimed to be the “hiring manager” was very rude and unprofessional and provided zero help after showing him statements of getting charged double for my membership! Went to a different club and go it resolved no problem

So I work for a different gym company. Wanted to try this location as my job isnt close to home, and sometimes I would like the privacy of a gym where I didnt know everyone. I had already decided i was gonna sign up for a membership with PF and just to use a day pass to check out the location close to me. As a daily gym goer I was looking forward to seeing what PF had to offer that was different from my current gym. When i checked in, no one offered to show me around, no one offered to talk to me about membership. I was actually looking forward to both, and got neither. Also, when I left an employee was sitting on the counter, which is super unprofessional. Im bummed because I was really set on signing up and now not so much. Poor customer service. Maybe thats why there was hardly anyone working out in there? Either way it was disappointing to not be treated like a new potential member, as I was one. I already get a gym membership for free, and I was willing to pay for a new,closer location to work out. Bad move PF.

So...Im worried about coronavirus. So obviously, Im leery of the gym and want to cancel my membership. I call to cancel and am informed that I must either go in person...to the germy gym Im trying to avoid, or, send a letter through certified mail...just to cancel a gym membership. Nice. Planet fitness making it extremely difficult to cancel membership...during a global, biblical level plague. So tasteful. This is one business that will never get me back.

This location is closed too much to be useful. The staff arent concerned with guests. Today the front desk girl barely looked up from her phone long enough to scan my Black Card. Only stopped in to see what another looks like. Staying with my Wheatridge location.

I left a review on the location on 1st and recommended they just come to this location. Very impressed with how clean the locker room was, it gives a good impression as to how the rest of the property is held up. The staff was friendly as well. I have no complaints about this location.

Obviously Planet Fitness is just generic/ basic work out equipment. They dont have any type of Extra so me and my husband go elsewhere. We have been dealing with charges from them for 5 months now and havent been using them for over a year. The website tells everyone who may want to cancel to fill out a FORM so when I went to get a Cancellation form for my husband Karen decided to attack me with questions about mine and his Home gym (None of her business) obviously NOT THIS ONE! Anyways, you have to come in on a day off in person to Cancel ONLY to keep being charged...? I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone that deserves a healthy and happy life, place is a joke!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Moved out of state called to cancel before the annual fee but would have to do a certified mail... due to me traveling to the area the next week I said Id stop by. BOOM!!! Rude employees will rush you through without eye contact and let you wander around lost after you asked for help. The tanning rooms have lotion on the walls, arent swept, no mirror, and the door looks like a dog was trapped inside the room. time for some new paint. The door of the tanning bed swings open and the second I stepped out the machine started blaring music incredibly loud. I also feel like the lights are too damn hot Ive never experienced that. Im shocked because the other of arent like this.

This place is a sham. The employees here are horrific. The entire company is a joke they went into my bank account and took money out of my bank account without authorization after my contract with them was up their thieves theyre crooked they are ridiculous company there is honestly a Voss right around the corner from there I would suggest you go there or any other gym other than planet fitness this place if I could give a negative review I absolutely would I recommend to everybody stay away from this company

This was a really good gym until they remodeled. Dont get me wrong, they did a good job with the remodel, but they got rid of the squat rack and benches! This was the one thing that really made this gym stand out above the other Planet Fitness locations in the area and kept me going there for about 2-3 years. I canceled today because they got rid of those items. I went to another gym and the manager who was giving me a tour said she had multiple people come to her gym because of this as well. Now this is just another typical Planet Fitness

I used to love going to this place. But recently they have changes to try to make it more mainstream mediocre mentality so it is disappointing now. If you want to just go in for a quick mediocre workout its the place to be. Like I said I used to love this place for the price but I had to move on unfortunately. Or a $22 multiple gym price that allows you to bring a guest. My medical insurance will pay $20 a month towards a gym membership. So I am considering it. Kind of far from where I live. But the price is good.They do not have sauna, steam room, or towel service, but they also dont charge $150 a month like some places that offer those perks.I reccomend this place.

This is THE most awesome place for a great workout! The staff is usually very helpful and the place is always clean. Very affordable at only $20 a month and only $40 yearly fee and I have the use of 5 gyms nearby. Love it!

I really enjoy this gym! Legit, no gymtimidation. He machines are always clean, and members do a great job of wiping down machines. The staff is always friendly, though did stay until closing one night and had the lights turned off on us 2 minutes to closing. Nobody mentioned anything to us! Lol. Open this place 24 hours and youve got yourselves a 5 star review.

The gym is decent and close to my house and I’ve been going for a few months but how many days out of the year is it closed or does it close at noon? It’s ridiculous. Thinking I should go to anytime fitness.

Best planet fitness Ive been to including 3 states. Friendly staff and they dont limit the minutes on the massage beds if no one else is requesting. This is important bc the contract States unlimited yet many locations allow you only 5-10 minutes even if the place is empty. After I moved my local location was a 5 minute one so I cancelled my membership.

I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone. I bought a gym membership here 2 years ago I used the for a week decided I didnt want go back I tried to cancel it they told me I had to pay 60 dollars in order to cancel so I went to my bank and put in a stop payment for one year as soon as the year was over they went right back to hitting my account when I called up to see what I can do the staff was very rude to me and hung up the phone this place does not respect its patrons they just want your money I put in a complaint to the BBB because if I have not been using your gym you should not be taking my money I only put one star so I could write this post I wouldnt even give a one star to this place so you can keep hitting my account id rather pay the over draft fees then to give my money to the owner of this place

My daughter goes to this gym or went to this gym. She was there 01/26/2020 at 1:30 and spent an hour working out. At 2:30 pm she went back into the locker room and discovered numerous lockers had been broken into and all of her items were missing. She went to the parking lot and discovered that her car was also missing. Every Planet Fitness I have ever gone too monitors the locker rooms to keep this from happening.If a person cannot place items in a facility and feel secure there is not any reason for people to go there. There has not been any luck in recovery of her items which include her drivers license, SS Card, credit cards etc. Now because of the lack of security in the building she has to deal with all police reports, insurance claims, replacing all her lost items, try to recover any money stolen before they were able to cancel everything etc. The Lakewood police department is not of any help, they refused to even show up and take a report, they took it over the phone. Even though the gym at least had a video of the thief (the Lakewood PD did not want) nothing has been done. I understand a lot of this is not the responsibility of the gym, but it could have all been avoided if regular checks of the locker rooms are completed.

Newly remodeled. Good staff. One downfall is that it is not open 24 hours like most other Planet Fitness gyms. But for most people thats probably not a problem. This location isnt as large as some others but it usually isnt over crowded.

Was excited that this location got a stand up bed because I wouldnt have to drive as far. Well that all changed when I had to first wait over 30 minutes just to use that bed because everyone wants to use it and also when I finally got in the room to use the bed it was literally like a sauna in there and the bed was so hot I had to put my shoes on just to stand in it. Guess I will continue to drive to the other location because that was a horrible experience!

First and foremost... the equipment works well and it is for the most part clean, I only found fingernails in the cup holder one time. I have been going there for three years and I am rarely greeted at the door, even less when I leave. I feel the employees and management are very cliquey. Any communication is forced, awkward, not pleasant and usually negative. There are several gyms with better perks for the same price and they know my name, and greet me at the door.

This place is very clean and the staff really friendly. Its not crowded and the equipment looks new. Good workout.

This was my first time at this Planet Fitness, and I will never go back. The staff member at the front desk did not even say good morning, they just asked if I was OK....Then walking into the locker room both of my locks did not fit though the hole to lock. I also found it odd that they suggested that I just live my belongings in a locker not locked. I was very sad it was not like any other planet fitness I have ever been to.

The people at this location are what make it a five star place to workout. Brenda and Michael are attentive, knowledgeable trainers who go the extra mile for their clients. The front desk staff are always friendly and often greet my by name. The equipment is in great working order with many new machines, kettlebells, and TRX. The gym is clean and quiet. I had never worked out so consistently before joining this gym.

Recently remodeled and a decent variety of equipment means its possible to get a good workout in at 4pm. At $10 a month, i consider it a deal. other workout facilities may offer more (pools, spas etc) but for my workout needs, planet fitness has what I need and I dont pay extra for what i dont.

I have been to a lot of Planet Fitness locations around the country, and this one feels like home! The employees pay attention to detail and approach me by name. This planet fitness is excellent in all ways!

Great bang for the buck. Some staff are nice some are teenagers that act like teenagers.Plenty of strength machines and you can just go in and get a decent workout without waiting. I always check peak hours on google.

If you want to be stolen from you shoud come here. I have been a member almost a year now and everything has been fine. On my last payment they took $33 and not the regular $10 and then withdrew another $10 a few days after! I called the 800 number and they told me they can only tell me my balance and collect payments. So I finally went to my planet fitness with my bank statement and they only showed the $10 charge. Since their computers we not showing this charge they would not refund me. Someone is just charging for whatever with my bank information and they didnt care! Cancelled my membership and will never be back. Dont get scammed!!! Beware!

We are members from St. Louis and are traveling out to Colorado. My daughter wanted to keep her pajamas on when we got in the car this morning, but didn’t want to wear them to dinner. We stoped at this location and checked in so that she could go to the locker room and change pants so she wouldn’t have to do it in a convenient stores bathroom. The lack of common since with the front desk and the manager at this facility has cost planet two members. They literally stood there and argued with us for more time than my daughter could have changed her pants and been out of there. Careful of the ignorance that you have representing your company.

The showers are good for about 5 minutes then the hot water runs out. Trying to rinse you hair in ice cold water at 7 in the morning just plain sucks! Toilets needed attention. One of the massage chairs has been broken every time Ive gone in. This was about two months ago. The staff rarely greets you when you come in. If a little more effort was put in perhaps business would not be lost to the planet fitness up the street and I would not have to be reminded how many visits I have left...

Basic, and thats perfect. I dont need to see the pec show or hear grunting. The most normal people work out here, and thats why I love it. Reed (sp?) is super helpful and kind.

I have changed my 5 star review to a 3 star review. I have signed an annual commitment back in February and have honored my end of the agreement. With no notice or any information regarding todays hours, Im assuming the employee decided to not show up to their shift. This is the 2nd time in the 12 month agreement that this has happened.I have a routine that I am accustomed to at this point, which includes my Monday morning hydromassage.If you plan on being closed on any specific days, post a notice where it can be clearly visible. I even recommend updating your Google My Business listing to reflect any days that you decide to be closed.My previous 5 star review - Great pricing, has all the equipment you need. Cheaper than almost all of the other gyms here.

I used to enjoy this facility until the Macho Men took over. I define Macho Men as the Body Builders that have no consideration for the other patrons. They take over a machine, especially if its busy and work on that unit for 30 minutes making sure NO One else can get on the unit even when they take their breaks. Macho Men always make sure everyone notices them with their Loud and Obnoxious behavior, like stomping while they are running at 4.0 on a treadmill. Couldnt be very good for their knees nor the equipment.This facility needs a bouncer. I tried to talk to one of them about being less obvious but I walked away when he looked like hed rather take a swing at me rather than listen.. These Macho Men should buy their own equipment and do that stuff at home. The rest of us who can only afford $10/month are nice people and we dont take over a machine. Planet promotes itself as the regular patrons place but their management wont even post a sign that says SHARE! Until this place gets rid of the Macho Men I suggest going somewhere else. Thats probably why people buy their membership and quit after one or two visits.

Good location, some updated equipment like TRX machine. Friendly staff. Kinda small but not too busy. Downfall are the hours and eventhough the staff is friendly there is some staff that is on their personal phones a lot.

This is the best planet fitness I have been to. The staff is awesome and friendly and everything is very clean.

Ive been going to this gym for over a year and say its the best bang for the buck. I used to own a super 24 hour fitness pass, and although the facility was top notch, i just couldnt afford it (plus i moved). Anyway, this place is great for the every day workout. Theres 2 sets of free weights all the way up to 70lbs. bench presses, lots of strength machines (4 different leg workout machines). 3 rows of cardio machines. Showers in the locker room (bring your own lock). tanning/massage chairs (gotta pay extra for them though).My only complaint is the lack of space for stretching/yoga and stuff like that.

Really? They removed the equipment and now I have to pay to cancel my membership. Unbelievable. If I go to a restaurant and order a steak and they bring me out a hamburger then I should not be accountable for the cost of the steak.I signed up for a steak and now Im getting hamburgers.They are saying that I have a contract to fulfill. They need to make exceptions for situations like this. The thing is: they will milk me for the exit fee but I will never go to any Planet Fitness again. Not a good financial decision giys.

Not usually crowded and plenty of benches and machines. Black card members get up to 20 mins on the hydrobeds which is great. Not open 24 hours but works with my schedule

Ive been to over 40 Planet Fitness locations in the US and this is the only one Ive encountered that has free weight barbell benches and squat racks. Definitely my favorite location so far!

Out of all the Planet Fitness gyms, this one is my favorite. Seems old but they have better workout equipment here. I wish all Planet Fitness gyms were like this one.

I love coming here. No one bugs me when Im working out. They just moved everything around and I love it. The manager Reis is awsome. He always greets me and says have a good day at the end of my work out. The other workers I dont see much but they are just as great when I do and they always have a smile on there faces

This is the worst place to work out. It has been under construction for months. The staff are late, rude & always on their phones. If I sign up for a gym membership I want to be able to work out then shower not have to wait until I get home. I really dont care to be on camera when Im working out.
