Wonderful experience at Northstar Dental! My permanent retainer detached and was poking my gums pretty badly. I needed an emergency appointment ASAP because it was really bothersome. I had never been to their office before, yet their team booked me first thing that day (which was much needed since my regular dentist at the time completely blew me off). I will be switching to Northstar as my regular provider moving forward!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall excellent experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My entire family has made the switch to Northstar. Dr Jamie is spot on with his analysis and was caring and funny. Krista and Jesus the hygienist were easygoing, as well as thorough and detailed.

I am so grateful for being referred to Northstar Dental. All the staff is seriously super friendly and caring. Dr. Jaime was amazing! I was super nervous to have my cavities filled today because I’ve had a bad experience with my past dentist but he seriously made sure I was ok throughout the whole process and was very gentle! I didn’t even feel when he numbed me and I was mainly nervous about that part! Talk about being extra gentle! Now let’s talk about the chair! It massages you!! and they give you comfy pillows for you legs and head I seriously could of fell asleep! By far the best experience I’ve ever had going to the dentist.! Eric Adler is an outstanding dentist who keeps very up to date with all dental procedures. I never have to wait when I arrive for my appointment. The hygienists are thorough, friendly and skilled. My wife and I enthusiastically recommend this Norhstar Dental.

I haven’t seen a dentist in a few years and needed some dental work done and called Northstar Dental for a root canal. Once I had this done I went in and saw Dr. Trevor for a crown and a few cavities. It has been an excellent experience!! Dr. Trevor and his staff are fantastic! Their office is very comfortable and they all were very good about explaining what they were doing and answered all my questions. So glad I for them and will refer anyone to them that is look for a great dentist!! Thanks for all the time you have spent on my teeth, I’m very happy! Dr. Muldoon and the staff at Nortstar were all incredible! Friendly, informative, and took the time to reference how my dental plan would impact charges (which feels rare these days). It seemed like I wasnt just another appointment on their schedule, but that they were really looking out for me - fully recommend.

It had been at least 10-15 years since I had been to a dentist, and probably over 20 since I had the majority of my dental work done. My memories of how terrible of an experience it was to get fillings and extractions kept me away all these years, even though I knew that the longer you put it off, the worse it gets. I had no idea how far dental technology has come! I just got 2 fillings done today, and this experience was like night and day difference from my memories of my dental experiences as a teen. Excellent customer service from everyone, awesome new (to me) technology, zero to very little pain, they explain everything very well to make sure you understand, and are in agreement with any decisions to be made. They make you feel like a cared about, listened to person, rather than a number. I highly recommend Northstar Dental, especially if you havent been in a long time, and arent aware of whats new in the world of dentistry. Go check them out!

I saw Dr. Jamie for my first visit and I felt like the appointment was rushed and I was told I needed a ton of dental work. I decided to get a second opinion and another dentist I saw for a second opinion told me I didnt near half of what Dr. Jamie said I needed to be done. I understand there can be a difference of opinion but I think that Dr. Jamie was more financially driven than anything else. I would suggest getting a second opinion to any patient that is told they need quite a bit of dental care just so you get multiple opinions on your care. The front desk staff was kind and caring but I will not be returning to receive care with Dr. Jamie. I just cant trust his dental expertise.

I havent had a good experience at a dentist office until I went to Northstar. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and everyone does what they can to make sure you are comfortable. It seems like they actually care about your dental health (vs. making the company extra money). If you have to go see a dentist, I definitely recommend this place!!

Had lots of problems with my teeth, since 2018 I have seen all 3 dentist, sometimes on emergency short notice. All of them were very friendly and understanding and I felt they all did diligent work .

He got on the phone with me not once, but twice to fully explain the procedure and what I could expect. He goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable with the decision you are making. Dr. Trevor has not worked on me yet, but his customer service and caring attitude is indicative of everyone there at Northstar dental!

Omg i’ve been with Northstar dental for more years than I care to remember!!! Dr.Trevor is a great dentist and is real and down to earth with you. Him and his staff makes me feel welcome and they listened to my dental history and are very thorough. Brandon is my hygienist and is funny and makes you feel comfortable. They are flexible with scheduling and have gotten things done for me in a pinch. My family and I were new to the area and needed to get in for regular check-ups and cleaning. I made appointments for myself, my husband, and my kids with all different dentist offices so we could compare experiences and decide on long-term care. The kids appointment was first (different office); it was fine - nothing exceptional, nothing terrible.My appointment was next with Northstar Dental. My experience was outstanding, start-to-finish. Due to my above and beyond encounter, I encouraged my husband to switch over. He did, and also had the same positive experience. When it came time for the kids next checkup, we put in the effort to switch them over as well. They both made it a point to tell us it was their best dentist experience ever (ages 15 & 7).The entire administrative team is courteous, patient, and helpful. The hygienests, dental assistants, and dentists are caring, informative, and highly competent. The office itself has a soothing and well-kept atmosphere. Everyone at Northstar is the best!! They truly care about their patients. No one wants sharp object stuck in their mouth but Northstar gives an extreme amount of patience and comfort and information about future mouth health that makes going to the Dentist acceptable.

All staff are very professional to all my dental concerns and questions. I have been coming to Northstar for awhile now. Very satisfied!

I had to get my front tooth removed, and an implant and crown installed. I spent several weeks researching dentists in my network to handle to process and selecting a dental insurance that Northstar accepted. Because of all the great reviews, I chose Dr Adler, who at first, was doing a great job helping me review my options and discussing the process.After 2 years of invisalign and getting the implant (both outside referrals given by Dr Adler), it was time to do the crown. Dr Adler and I spoke about the process, that I would go see the Periodontist the day before to expose the implant, then I would go to his office for a dental cleaning the following day and we would get started with moldings for the temporary implant.I went to the periodontist, then my appointment Adler. After my appointment, I scheduled follow up appointments to get the implant procedures lined up.Later that afternoon, he called me and told me he did not feel he could do a good job with the crown and was referring me to a specialist. It took me by complete surprise. Why was he calling me LAST MINUTE to tell me that he did not want to do my crown? We had been discussing this for 2 years and had several phone calls about the process weeks and months beforehand. It was very upsetting. But he said that he wanted me to be in the best hands possible. So he sent me to Trailhead Dental to see Dr Limmer, and they had to push around the schedule to get me in as quickly as possible.Dr Limmer told me at my first appointment that because of the delay between going to the Periodontist to expose my implant and seeing him to get started, that I may need an extra procedure because the gums receed between the teeth if not addressed quickly. I was really upset that Dr Adler never mentioned this to me, and put me in a last minute situation where now we needed to get moving ASAP.I did not think to contact my insurance company to see if this was going to be covered. Dr Adler had referred me and not once did either office say to check with your insurance to see if it was covered.Well, here I am. Finding out after its all over that I will not receive about $5,000 back from insurance. Nope, no coverage on ANYTHING.I had spent several days selecting Dr Adler for this procedure. He agreed to handling it long ago. Then last minute, he dumps me, sends me out of network, and I was so taken back by the last minute breakup that I did not think that his referral would not cover me.Now I see that Dr Adler is a dental meat grinder. He refers his clients out regularly to other offices. And honestly, even though he says he did not feel he good do a good job with this process - I dont believe that for a minute. He just wants the easy, fast money, and did not want to take on the harder work because he is so busy with quantity, and not quality. Dr Adler did not give me a choice in the matter. He did not say, I can still do it for you. He dumped me onto a specialist.Dr Adler had done a crown on a different tooth for my husband. The process was the same. The quality would have been the same because the dental labs are the ones crafting the teeth. The dentist just helps with molding and installing them.When I originally chose Dr Adler, I chose an insurance that his company would accept because I wanted HIM to do the work. He referred me last minute for the most important and expensive part of the process, and blindsided me when he called (out of the blue) to tell me he did not want to do the work. Shame on Adler for not telling me sooner. He even admitted he should have. I kept the lines of communication open with him throughout the process. We planned together every step of the way, and then he dropped me last minute. Here I am paying for dental insurance that I cannot use. Paying for procedures that I thought I would be reimbursed for. I cant believe how thoughtless and selfish he acted by not being proactive and dumping me last minute, which put me in a very stressful, time-sensitive situation where I could not even have time to position myself to be better insured.

Best crown experience ever!! I was in and out with a completed crown in 2 1/2 hours. Dr. Trevor and his assistant Amanda were professional but caring and fun too. They explained every step of the process, after which I would just pop my headphones back on. I will go there for all of my dental needs from now on.

As someone super sensitive to any kind of dental work, I can safely say that Northstar DEFINITELY takes care of their customers. Every employee there made sure I knew there was no judgment for any prior neglect, they prioritized my discomfort, and they were the polar opposite of the traditional dentist experience. Im confident to go back and can not reccomend this place enough. Dr. Adler was who personally handled my situatuion, but the receptionists, assistant, AND primary dentist all played equal parts in making this a much better experience than expected. I did my research trying to find a good dental office for myself and my wife. I didn’t find a good dental office, I found a great one! The office is nice, the staff is great and genuine, and they know their profession well. My wife and I both still have more work to be done to our teeth, and we trust the work that they do and we trust their recommendations.

Never have experienced a staff that welcome and walk you through a process like they did. They were very informative and made sure I was aware of what was going on for each step on your first visit. Look forward to continuing my checkups and know my teeth are in good care with Northstar.

I’m new to the Denver area and visited this office in March of this year. Before moving I regularly visited the same dentist in Fort Collins and am very attentive of my dental hygiene. Overall the staff here was very friendly, and the facility was great. However, I was offered a number of different products and services, which after getting a second opinion from another dentist in the area and having my x-rays viewed by my previous dentist seem completely egregious.The dentist at North Star I visited with said I had 4 cavities which seemed strange as I had visited my other dentist 6 months previously and there were no decay issues. Usually, this wouldn’t seem too shocking, but this particular dentist at Northstar recommended me a number of other products and services.The dentist suggested I get some cosmetic dentistry done, which was odd as I had not come in to consult about that. This particular cosmetic procedure had nothing to do with my health, and was only for appearance related issues. I’m in healthcare myself, and find it highly inappropriate to suggest cosmetic procedures to a patient, unless of course it is necessary to their overall health and wellbeing or if the patient has already expressed interest in the procedure. When visiting with the doctor on my visit, he asked a number of questions regarding my sleep and how that might be related to a potential dentistry solution. Thirdly, the doctor suggested that I look into buying a mouthguard and also sold me fluoride toothpaste at the time of my appointment. I bought the toothpaste, and this really isn’t a big deal to me at all, but after doing some of my own research have read that selling this product is a way for dentists to put a few extra dollars in their pocket from each patient. Because of all these situations, it seems as though this office was only trying to make money and wasn’t concerned about me as a patient. I hope I am wrong, but offering so many services, especially ones that do not have to do with my health, is just very strange to me.I typically would not write a review like this, but wanted to make any potential new patients aware of my experience. I hope all new patients don’t have the same experience as mine, but if this office suggests a number of procedures I would recommend getting a second opinion from another trusted dentist first before moving forward.

I just recently started going here. But I have to say this is the best dentists office I have been to. Dr. Eric Adler is highly intelligent, and knows his trade like a science. Im an engineer and I can say its very hard to find someone that not only knows their job but excels at it because they love what they do. On top of that he is careful and considerate. More importantly he listens and works with you to achieve the goal you walk in the door with. The staff all know their stuff as well. They all hold themselves to a high standard. I would refer anyone here without hesitation.

Doctor and staff are incredible, no change. I have been a loyal customer for many years now and my teeth are healthy.Invisalign is incredible - braces was not in the program as a kid and roll forward many years later and my teeth are all messed up crooked due to shifting, grinding and all sorts of living life.Invisalign did so many things for me but most importantly, got my teeth on track to being able to survive for another 40 years. I do want to eat my whole life ideally and teeth of course are a factor. I can also breathe now, everytime Dentists would work on my teeth, I could not breathe as my mouth was tight like a rats.Invisalign sort of got me into the pickyness of not being happy with food in my teeth.Invisalign payed for itself in restaurant costs for the time of 8 months while I was on Invisalign as it was just more convenient to eat at home. I therefore ate better.The Doctor over there made all this happen by speaking to me about why straightening my teeth was important for the future and how our teeth change in our life as our spines and the physics of our body change with it, this is life.

Excellent care and wonderful patient follow-up. The professional, kind staff makes going to the dentist a lot less scary. Dr. Trevor has gentle hands. I barely felt him performing work on my teeth. I definitely recommend this office for all your dental care.

The appointment took much longer then expected due to the information and services provided. This was the first time I was glad I spent more time at the dentist than planned.

Very friendly dentistry and phenomenal doctors.. Dr. Adler is fast pace professional, at the same extremely gentle and caring as a person. You feel comfortable there and dont want to change the place to take care of your dental issues ! They dont press to schedule you for the work you might not need, patiently waiting for you to be ready financially to pay for the next step of treatment...The Northstar Dental office has latest technological equipment and a tons of information in possesion of best ways to take care of your teeth at home, explaining patiently what is the most successful tools to maintain dental health routinely! They are happy to see you even if you 5 min late because of work schedule or weather conditions. !

I started going to Northstar Dental almost 30 years ago ( Plous Family Dentistry then Plous and Adler before becoming Northstar). I tried other clinics over the years when my insurance changed, but came right back because it was worth paying out of network. They do a great job in a welcoming atmosphere and always keep up with the latest advances in care. I am very happy with them.

Another awesome Northstar Dental experience! Cleaning was fast, thorough and painless. Notwithstanding my diligent dental care efforts, Dr. Adler discovered a cracked tooth & a couple of minor cavities, and fixed em right then -- wow! This is one terrific dental office! 5-16-18 update -- Im running out of stars! Called Northstar about a couple of chipped teeth on a Monday morning. Not painful or severe, but bothersome enough to merit treatment. Got an appointment for 2:30 the next day, and by 3:30 that day, I was on my way back to work, with teeth all fixed. No muss, no fuss, no numb mouth -- all good! And I get a seniors discount. Wow. And another faultless cleaning yesterday. Just cant say enough good things about Northstar Dental!

Ive been going to Northstar for almost a year now and am not exaggerating when I say theyre the best dentist Ive ever been to. They have been warm, welcoming and always on their game from day 1. They really go the extra mile to make you feel calm, safe and as comfortable as possible at all times. My friend who has severe dentist anxiety referred me when I moved to this area, and it may be the best recommendation Ive ever gotten.Dana is my hygienist and I cant see myself going to anyone else ever again. She takes the most care, remembers everything about my case and is extremely pleasant and professional. If you need a deep cleaning or have high sensitivity, she is your girl.Both Dr. Joe and Dr. Adler are very friendly and knowledgeable, and Ive been happy with both. Dr. Joe performed an extraction and Dr. Adler gave me a filling, and both procedures were pain-free and went smoothly (pro tip: ask about the laser tool for fillings and if it can work for you). If I had to do it again, Id choose them.
