Fantastic barbers. Very personable. Despite a slightly more expensive cut, youll get what you pay for! Also great that the owner is local considering I prefer to keep my money as local as possible. At least 10 times better than the large chains like SuperCuts!

Modern take on an old school barbershop. The staff will give you decent cut, though their skill level varies widely. I suggest booking with one of the more experienced barbers rather than risking a walk-in with some of the others.In response to owner reply: I came to Heirloom as a matter of convenience on four separate occasions. On at least two of my cuts, the sides were uneven (one shorter than the other). I think the barber was trying to fix it but it but ended up being shorter than Id asked for. Additionally, after I washed it, I found there was hair in the front/top which hadnt been cut leaving me with random long tufts. I ended up trimming that myself. My two other cuts at Heirloom were good though a tad shorter than Id asked for. I decided to return to my previous barber even though it is further away because I felt they were able to cut my hair more consistently.

This is by far the best barbershop in Cleveland. I moved here recently and tried a couple of shops. Brandon is definitely the best barber Ive found here, and likely the best barber Ive had in Ohio. Hes very meticulous which results in a great cut. That being said, I dont think you can go wrong with any of the barbers. My buddy sees Angel and his cuts are great too. Bring cash because I believe there is a surcharge for credit.

Recently moved to Lakewood, been trying to find a good barber shop and stumbled across this one on Google. Extremely happy I did! They listen to what you want, take their time, and provide very high quality work. I schedule my appointment online with Matthew Ortiz and hes always ready for me exactly at the time I selected. Definitely would recommend this barber shop to anyone looking.

My friend and I went to Heirloom to get a cut and shave for his wedding. It was hands down the best experience either of us has had at a barber and we couldn’t have been happier with our service. We had Matt and Brandon that took care of us but everyone there did a good job with their respective customers. Will definitely go back and recommend to everyone!

Brandon cut my hair for the first time two weeks ago. By far the best haircut I have had in years. Friendly, courteous service in a clean and inviting atmosphere. If youre looking for a barber, I would highly recommend Heirloom. From what I could see, you cant go wrong with any of the barbers in this shop.

The work by the barbers here is uniformly excellent. Classic to edgy the cuts and razor work hold up and grow out very well. Appointment or walk in. So schedule with a barber or be ready to wait.

I found this place shortly after I moved to Lakewood, not long after they opened up, and I havent looked back since. Although Matt has become my go-to barber, I have been to each of the other guys at least once, and wouldnt hesitate to sit down with any of them again. They take the time to understand what it is that you want, and deliver every time. Add that to the modern atmosphere with an old-school feel, and you cant go wrong. Keep up the great work guys.

Walked in for the first time based on the reviews. Greeted quickly by the Barbers in the shop. 2 barbers available for walk ins (awesome). Anthony and Carl do an excellent job and I like the vibe of the place.

The staff is very friendly and professional and the shop is very clean and well-kept. When you go to Heirloom, you are paying for a heightened barber shop experience. They always have 4 barbers working, and at least 2 of them are always taking walk-ins while the other 2 tend to their appointments which I think is the most practical way to accommodate everyone. Its true, haircuts might take a half hour (big deal... go pay $7 for a crappy low-budget haircut if you prefer quickness over quality OR take advantage of the fact that they take appointments here???). 30 minutes is not bad at all, thats pretty standard at any other upscale shop Ive been to and just shows that these guys do their job by giving clients their moneys worth every time and provide quality haircuts.

What an absolute great experience. It brings back many memories and I congratulate the guys for following thru with a dream and an idea. Guys, anywhere near the Cleveland area you need to definitively check this place out for a great shave and haircut. The hot towels are nice too. The conversation is great. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Old school without the chicanery/commercialism of those franchise haircut places which try to sell you on cheerleaders cutting your hair. These guys really take the time and tremendous effort to do the job right. It’s pribably not a job for them but an art. Best haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Nice job Matt!!! Thank you.

Very trendy place, they’ve paid attention to little details and have some nice touches to the space and service. They can hook you up with all the hottest haircuts and the time-tested classics. They can work with all hair types, which I really appreciate.Personally, I dont go here all the time because Im perpetually broke and slammed so I opt for a cheaper, walk-in only place, but given a bigger budget, Id always go here.A random critique to the owners: there is a lot of unused space in the shop. Its not a detractor, but I feel like yall could use it. A lounge area? And a couple more chairs/barbers? You could practically fit a boxing ring in the empty space.

After patiently waiting an hour to get a haircut, one of their guys points to someone else who came in way after me with no appointment, and I got completely ignored which obviously upset me. So, I walked out. This happened another time where I waited almost an hour again and I walked out. I gave them another chance, their other barber remembered me as the guy who walked out and made it a joke. I didnt find it funny. You dont joke with paying customers like that. It was inappropriate and I wanted to say something, but I let it go. I dont have time to wait 75 minutes watching someone get a fade that can be done in 25-30 minutes tops. Ive been to real high-end barber shops in America, Miami, LA, Vegas, NYC and Ive never seen anything like the snail pace they operate at. Never coming here again.The owner who just commented on my review is blatantly lying. When I got frustrated after waiting forever and day--twice, I just simply walked out without saying a single word to anyone. I didnt exhibit any specific behavior toward anyone. Am I supposed to be happy waiting that long?Im a businessman and values honesty and customer service, so to lie like that is very immature.

This is my second time coming in with my husband to Heirloom Barber shop and both of my experiences were 10/10. Besides it being my husband favorite barber shop, Anthony was really nice and introduced his self to me, you get greeted on ur way in and everyone is nice! Anthony offered my daughter hot chocolate the 1st time we came in. It’s a very nice and respectful atmosphere, so to any girl who wants to go in with her man I recommend it, you won’t be stared at lol😊

Seriously, howon earth these guys have a five star rating is beyond me. They are soooo slow i was queationing whether or not these guyshave cut hair before. Then their boys would come in and i could literally hear them ask if they could justslip them in real quick. Not cool when me and at least 5 other people had been waiting for damnnear 45 minutes. I cant believe i waited that long. If i spent 35 minutes cutting someones hair like they do even i could do a good job. If you do not believe, please by all means see for yourself. Its not like this is some highend place either. I hate to do this, and i wanted to give them achance which is why i waited so long. Oh and no one even greeted us when we came in or ecen botheres to acknowledge we were there. No heads up on the wait or where we stood in line. All the good reviews must come there boys. Oh and there were about 4or 5 kids in there and the barbers were bragging about run ins with the law. Not high school anymore guys. Doesnt make you look cool.

The barbers dont communicate at all theres no greeting when you walk in so you basically just sit and wait for a chair to open then when you ask if they could cut your hair they say they have a appointment i feel as if they say that just to be able to bypass people to get to there friends and or usuals the fact that they let you just sit there and dont aknowlege you or let you know how many people they have is ridiculous so your just stuck sitting and waiting and when you do ask they look at you like your crazy and dont offer any assistants its just unorganized in my opinion needs better oversight had this issue twice just gonna go elsewhere not worth the hassle
