The best barbershop is Tacoma by far. Always super professional and great service. Clean and place seems to have central cooling so you not hot or freezing while you wait. I always reccomend this barbershop to anyone who is new to the area or has a messed up haircut

This shop is amazing! The guys are so respectful and professional. My son has been going to the shop for many years. They are always on time, the atmosphere is very comfortable and the guys cut better than many of their competitors by far. My son would never go anywhere else. I appreciate being able to book online, the conversation in the shop and the timely manner getting cut.

I make it a point to let the masses know about exceptionally poor or exceptionally excellent service I receive from an establishment. Skylinez falls into the latter category. The place is small but very well maintained, clean and welcoming. Even though it was my first time there, Dennis treated me as if I had been coming there for years. Their professionalism and dedication to their art is without comparison. My wife had told me that if I wanted a great barber that specializes black hair to do so in Lakewood and Skylinez does not disappoint. I will definitely be back!

This shop is the BEST. At Skylinez, both the barbers very friendly. I went to other barber shops before Skylinez, but wasnt very satisfied with them. As soon as I stepped in the door I could tell the environment was different and had an inviting atmosphere. I got a very nice cut from the owner and have been going there ever since.

Dennis told me it was two no show appointment in August and he don’t have time for clients that don’t show up to appointment which I was unaware it was a no show appointment. Dennis told me if I want to continue using his services I would have to pay for the two no shows appointment which I wouldn’t had a problem doing but it’s just the way he came off so for future customer please make your appointment if not you will not be book in the future. Dennis it’s always a professional way talking to customers I’m glad it was over the phone and not face to face in front of my kids.

Brought my child in and they gave him the worst hair cut I have ever seen you can tell they didn’t care, it was done with pure laziness, I will never go there again.

My husband made an appointment with Dennis but ended up having to cancel due to staff duty. He asked if he could come in the next day and Dennis told him yes and to just walk in without an appointment. Well my husband did just that and of course was turned away because he did not have an appointment. Why state to just walk in when you don’t honor your word . Definitely would not recommend.

Just moved into the area, and this place had the best reviews but quality of cut I got was poor. Thought I find a new barber but definitely not here. Asked for a low fade, got a high fade, didn’t notice until I was halfway home, the right side of my head wasn’t faded/tapered. Don’t know if the barber was tired or rushing because he was behind time. Had a 6:00pm appointment, didn’t get on chair until 6:18pm. Def not coming back

I’m new to the area and had been to several barbershop in hopes of getting an undercut design for my braids. Skylinez did not disappoint! Great customer service and my visit was one of the few instances where I asked for something and my expectations were exceeded! Highly recommended

Easy appointment scheduling online which was very convenient. Didnt have to wait too long after the appointment time was was nice. After he was done cutting my sons hair he asked if it looked good, and i asked if he could take a little more off the top. He gave a disgusted look and rolled his eyes. He ended up taking more off the top and it looked a lot better.

Definitely would tell ppl to visit the shop. They took care of sons hair, very professional, and the vibes in the bldg is a blessing.

Not bad at all first time here and as long as my son is happy, I’m happy!!..... (then this happened)....The barber that was supposed to cut my sons hair took another appointment instead of him....appointments only and we were scheduled....so the barber that cut my sons hair was watching the basketball 🏀 game on the tv and talking with everyone but the person he was working on. The barber should of combed out my sons hair to make sure it was all even. Needless to say driving over an hour and a half coming from hwy 101 all the way to Lakewood. We won’t be back and there are plenty of good barbers we will drive all the way up for. We learned our lesson and that’s what counts.

Skylinez is the only barbershop i trust around here. Ive been going here for well over a year and everytime i go i come out looking fresh. Great barbers (Dennis and Dewayne), great environment, great conversations, and excellent service. I personally get my haircut by dennis, but ive seen work done from both Dennis and Dewayne. You can tell by their craft alone that theyre expierienced barbers, and know what theyre doing. The simple fact that i can book an appointment for up to a month+ out and know that i am going to get a haircut at a specific time is just a plus with the best barbers in town. I say that with expierience due to the fact that Ive been here for 3 1/2 years and sticked with this barbershop for the better part of 2 years after checking out a countless of other spots. Book your appointment and see what they have to offer. You wont be disappointed!
