We are very satisfied with the installation of our new A/C system. Bryan and his crew were very professional and respectful of my home. They covered our furniture and laid drop clothes throughout our home to keep dirt from tracking in. I cannot recommend this company enough. Our air went out on a Thursday night. Friday morning I called several places, none of which were able to get to us earlier than Saturday. Fortunately I found Ryals Brothers. They were able to make it out to our house Friday afternoon. Ken and Murat came to the house after six oclock that night following some difficult work at another location. They were able to identify the problem instantly, and despite the late hour returned to their shop to grab the necessary part and installed it that night. Ken even offered to check to see if the part they replaced is under warranty...if it turns out that it is, Ryals Brothers said they will refund the cost of the part. That is definitely going the extra mile for a customer; I never would have thought that was even a possibility. If you need any work done to your AC system at all, definitely call this company. My husband and I decided to call for a second opinion after another local AC company (that did our install 2 years ago) told us there were parts that had gone bad on our AC unit, when they came out for the maintenance. We had this other company “replace” these parts they indicated were bad and paid over $250 for the repairs (and that was the ‘warranty’ price)Rodrigo and Murat came out and inspected everything and confirmed my husband and I’s suspicions. Not only did they not replace both parts they said were bad, but charged us for, the one part they replaced was not the proper size for our unit and was not hooked up properly and could’ve electrified the whole outside unit. Rodrigo and Murat not only confirmed all of this but also indicated that typically a warranty repair is only around $55, which is the cost for the warranty claim. Not only did Rodrigo and Murat fix the errors made by the other company they did a full service on our unit as that wasn’t done either. They took the time to answer all of our questions, explained everything in a way we could understand and honestly really restored our trust.The office staff and technicians are world class and I highly recommend Ryals Brothers to anyone with HVAC needs. We called Ryals Brothers Air Conditioning in Lakeland, Florida, to request a proposal for a whole-house dehumidifier. My wife and I, both retired, arrived at this decision as our HVAC system was not keeping our brand-new home at an optimum temperature of 76° while also failing to maintain a humidity level of around 50%. Although the unit is still under the standard 2-year warrantee for parts and labor, the electrical subcontractor hired by the builder to install the system, after several service calls, could not get it to keep those two parameters specified above. Our HVAC system made by Carrier was able to give us dehumidification, but it could only do so by dropping the temperature to freezing levels. Although most people in Florida do not seem to mind the low temperatures in their home, for us it is insufferably cold and and a tremendous waste of energy.On the day of the appointment, Ken Elliott, one of the owners, after listening very attentively to our plight, took out his tools and looked inside the furnace at what appeared to be a circuit board. After asking for permission, he pulled a few pins out, and re-plugged them on nearby ports. He then proceeded to reprogram our thermostats. Wait a couple of days, he said, and see how it feels inside the house. Then he paused and said, in fact, you may not need the dehumidifier after all. In any event, he continued to take notes of what needed to be done in order to have the whole-house dehumidifier properly installed in accordance with Florida code. This included running a dedicated electrical line from the garage to the attic up above the second floor. It also included running dedicated pvc pipes for the condensate drip from the dehumidifier unit in the attic to the ground on the outside of the house. In my mind I was sure this project was realistically going to cost us several thousand dollars.After a pleasant chat with my wife about family history, Ken promised he would prepare a proposal, which he would send the very next day. The odd thing is that the estimate never came the next day, nor during the rest of the week, although in our hearts we were very happy about it. We remembered what he had said about not needing the dehumidifier, but we were very skeptical then. The truth is now, we are confidently sure we do not need a dehumidifier. After Kens reconfiguration, the system is now able to keep us comfortably at a steady temperature of 76° and humidity between 48 and 50 percent without costing us a penny. All this was accomplished by Kens clever programming skills, and above all, his 100 percent commitment to honesty.A week later, I called Kens office to express our gratitude for what he has done for us. He was out in the field, but the very next day he called us first thing in the morning. We told him that finding an honest man was hard these days, and that meeting and getting to know an honest businessman was perhaps even harder. We let Ken Elliott know that he is both. *True story*Ken (Ryals) came out to give an estimate to get us back up an running. Other companies told us we needed a new compressor which is the heart of the machine big $$ . Ken said no way all you need is a fan motor . Our unit was older and I didnt want to keep putting money into it so I asked for an estimate for complete new system along w new fresh duct work. Old duct work was from the 70s (We had little kids so we wanted new fresh air quality)he didnt charge to replace the new fan motor and said I will keep your family cool until we install the new system WOW who offers that?! Ryals is different than your regular AC repair services honest and top quality work. Protect your investment and let them annually service and clean it. This company is THE BEST. My A/C quit on a Monday after a holiday weekend and Ken still made it out to me the same day. Not having done business with their company before, when I called I was immediately impressed by the woman who answered the phone. Unlike some companies that have a answering service take their phone calls, this woman was actually part of the business and knew what was going on. She asked some questions about what I was experiencing and made a recommendation on what I should do up until when the technician arrived so that they could accurately diagnose the problem. After that she quickly checked the schedule and said that she would get someone out to me the same day. When Ken arrived I was impressed that one of the owners was willing to make a service call in person. That is what I call dedication and commitment to quality, something that is hard to find now days. Ken was very personable and figured out the problem right away. He explained the problem in detail and demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of how the system works. The repair of my unit required the replacement of a part. Ken wanted to check on a couple of different options to try to save me some money and told me he would get back with me promptly the next morning, which he did. After I authorized the repair he came back to install the part, and also thoroughly checked over my two A/C systems to ensure they were both now operating in tip-top shape. I never felt pressured, and Ken never tried to up-sell me into any additional services. I am glad I found Ryal Brothers and will be sure to use them in the future whether it be a repair, or a full unit replacement. We called 10 minutes till close for a service call. We didn’t expect anyone to be able to come out until at least the next day. Our house was over 90 degrees. My wife, 13 month old, and I were miserable. I tried everything, cleaned the lines, checked the drip pan, checked float switch, checked the breakers. My wife called and the service support was able to get ahold of someone and they were at the house within the hour. Ken and I didn’t get the other gentleman’s name were fast, friendly, and professional. They diagnosed the issue in literally seconds, I had a bad connection on one leg of the breaker. They came the same day and found a burnt out heater switch and wire and replaced them both in the air handler up in that hot attic this September. I would highly recommend Ryals Brothers to anyone who has an A/C need - they are courteous, on time and do what they say they are going to do - I had them come out for an issue and they found black mold within the duct work no one else had found - no telling how long it was there - it was truly thru the whole house in the duct work - their guys are kind and considerate and they did exactly what they promised in the time frame promised - they cleaned up daily when they left which is very important to me - they were kind to me and tolerated my 6 dogs without complaining once - the owner Ken was here and actually did a lot of the work and planned out the job very meticulously. I am so thankful for Ryals Brothers and their expertise in finally diagnosing the problem to my air conditioner. I had the original installers come to diagnosis the problem to the system they installed three times in a year; they could not diagnose the problem even after a year and kept telling the system is fine. These guys are exceptional!!! The owner Ken is extremely knowledgeable and easy to speak with. Their staff is very professional, straight forward and are quick to respond to any emergent call. My AC stopped working and as soon as I called Ken had a Tech out to my house in less than 30 minutes. Carlos arrived looking very profesional and is quite possibly the most knowledgeable AC technician that I have ever met. Being somewhat technical myself, I was astonished at how quickly Carlos identified my issue which was a hole in my condenser intake line. Ryals Brothers is perhaps the best A/C company in Polk county. I first used this company a couple of years ago as they were the only company in the area that would come out on short notice. After a quick repair they had my A/C running again. Recently another (Big Name) company diagnosed my system as needing compressor and quoted me pricing for new system. Comparing prices, I called Ryals Brothers again for a quote when Ken and Tim discovered that only the fan motor on the outside unit was defective. After removing the fan and a quick shot of lube my A/C was working again. These guys know their business and how to treat customer fairly!!! Unfortunately, my system has continued to have problems and it will be time to upgrade soon but I will certainly have Ryals Brothers install the new system when the time comes. Honesty and knowledge are hard to find when looking for professionals to repair items like A/C systems, but rest assured that Ryals Brothers is a fair company that only employs skilled technicians.

I should have called Ryals Brothers first. After another company quoted me $912 to fix my blower motor that they said was not under warranty I called them. I spoke with Ken and explained the situation to him and he said he would do what he could to help me. My unit is only 4 1/2 years old and IS still under warranty. Ken told me he would look into it first thing in the morning and he did.I received a call letting me know they were able to get the parts under the warranty and they would be out to fix the unit today. Carlos was our technician, and you could not ask for a nicer, and smarter A/C tech. He diagnosed our problem quickly, and even took the time to point out where our condenser was broken. He found us a used unit, and was able to get his installers out here in less than 24 hours! He also performed maintenance on our other A/Cs. He found and repaired another issue while he was here.Their price was even more awesome than their service! I will certainly call them again when I need to.

The Ryals Brothers team came out and replaced a 16-year old unit for me. They rebuilt the box that my old air-handler sat on as the home builder only used plywood and had no 2x4s to support the 150+ pound unit (they tore the top off, added 2x4s and re-insulated the box). The guys went the extra mile by going out to Lowes to purchase trim to fill all of the gaps and make the install look fantastic! They put tarps down in my garage and where they worked on the return in the house and cleaned everything up afterwards. If youre looking for the best quality at a reasonable price, look no further!

My A/C went out overnight in March. I called around to several A/C companys. Some just tried to sell me a unit over the phone. Of the ones that did come out some were here for only 10 minutes. I even had one that was here for an hour and a half and I was totally confused when he left. They all said that the unit was hopeless and would require replacement. Had prices from 4,500 to 14,000.00. Of the representatives that come out, my decision was to go with Ryals Brothers Inc., I was impressed with Ken Elliott. I just felt very comfortable in which Ken explained what he felt happened with my unit and what his company did and what they would do to help me. He said it would be a few days before they could install the unit but that they would give me a temporary one. They were out the next morning and installed a unit that gave me air. I had never heard of any company doing that. But believe me I was so grateful. As promised they came out 2 days later and installed the new unit in one day. I was totally impressed with the employees and the workmanship, extremely satisfied and will highly recommended to anyone that they need to have Ryals Brothers install their units. I had a very serious problem and what made it worse is that I didnt know how serious it was.I bought a one year old house about four years ago with a gas furnace. Ive only used it once a couple of years ago but with the recent cold spell I needed it. But it would not run long and produced raw gas fumes. Not many people around here will work on gas furnaces but I had used Ryals Brothers a couple times before so Ken, the owner, came out. Even though they dont normally work on gas furnaces.With some serious trouble shooting they determined the furnace had never been converted from natural gas to propane, which is the fuel used in this neighborhood.Ken did some research at home that night to learn more about it. Then he ordered a conversion kit and came back with a small crew. It took about 2-1/2 hours but they were able to change the parts and adjust the pressures, which made a huge improvement. But not perfect and he wasnt satisfied until it worked properly.They cleaned a lot of the soot out of the combustion chamber and fan using his shop vacuum and my air compressor. There was so much soot it completely clogged the filter in his shop vac.After it was cleaned it worked fine. Good clear blue flame that goes into the combustion chamber as it should. It was almost 7:00pm when he left. He wasnt going to leave till he made it right, or at least did everything he possibly could.You dont across that kind of work ethic in the trades anymore. His professionalism was outstanding. Had a new air conditioning system and a wifi controller installed that was a little off. They spent a lot of time here and researching at their shop to fix it. They are dedicated to customer satisfaction and didnt stop until they knew that it was fixed.

Our A/C went out on a Sunday night, Monday morning I spoke with the owner and by the next morning we had a quote and was on the schedule for install. We had air before the weekend! Hired company to install new HVAC system and ductwork in house. Quote was 2nd most expensive but the work completed was outstanding. In hindsight, the cheaper quotes I received were most likely going to end up being adjusted when job was underway or would have been less quality work. Its refreshing to get a true, upfront price that doesnt change after the job gets started. Ive also used the company for my annual service and have been very happy with the crew they send out. Well dressed, well mannered, quality service.

Absolutely top-notch. My AC died after a power surge, and Ken came down personally - on a Sunday morning, to crawl into a hot attic. He diagnosed the problem right away, and after a quick trip back to his shop to get the necessary part, I had working AC. I would absolutely recommend them.

I was told by another company that my unit needed to be replaced and I called Ryals Brothers to get a second quote on replacement. When Ken, the owner arrived he immediately started looking at the system to see why it needed to be replaced. After troubleshooting he showed me that the return was blocked by a bad filter and removed it. The unit instantly began to run properly. It appears my existing unit still has some time left and Ryals saved me from a total replacement that I don’t need.

On 9/2/2015 my AC was blowing hot air so I called my warranty company for service. They assigned an out of town company to come look at my unit. They didnt give me the companys name, only their number so I googled it. It was full of horrid reviews. I called my warranty company to assign another repair company and they refused.While on google looking at the other companys bad reviews I saw this companys good reviews and decided to call them. I am so very glad I did. They answered the phone immediately. The woman who answered was friendly and courteous and let me know someone would get back to me that afternoon.Ken called me that afternoon and came right out. What can I say. What a super nice guy and treated me with respect but most of all he was honest that my AC wasnt broken. I was a dunce that forgot to check the circuit breaker after the power had gone out the night before.I would highly recommend this company.

Our air had stopped cooling during the night. Called Ryals Brothers first thing in the morning. Allen was here around 12:30 and had the problem fixed within ten minutes. I highly recommend this company. They will definitely be getting my business if needed in the future.

Late on posting this.....FANTASTIC service! Great response time and fair pricing! These guys definitely know what they are doing, and will do it right the first time. Very friendly office staff willing to go above and beyond.Long story short, another local A/C company came out to diagnose an issue we were having (house wasnt cooling) and they added freon. They came back 4 weeks later, since the house wasnt cooling again (they didnt address the issue correctly the first time), and tried to tell me it needed more freon. The guy then got an attitude with me, since I refused to pay for more freon, and told me the cooling line was leaking while cutting the tape putting a leak detector on the line. They told me the next morning it would be $800 to fix! Called Ryals Bros from a referral (neighbor who was getting a new install done over the weekend) and Ken came out that afternoon and told me exactly what was going on; the valve that releases freon into the unit wasnt functioning properly and needed to be replaced. He also turned the blower fan up to a speed 3 (was on a 2) because there wasnt enough air flow (something the other company didnt look for or recommend).HANDS DOWN best experience for A/C!!!!! I cant express the how pleased I am with Ryals Brothers service. We have used them for the past 5 years with minor issues and they have always helped us out in a pinch BUT nothing compares to the service of today. We found out on 12/20 we needed an entire system and it was installed 12/26 because they knew we had a big celebration coming and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. They go beyond what is needed initially and also take care of what will happen in the future. Bags of rock were poured under the slab so it would remain stable over the years as the soil around it would erode. They were respectful of our house and not only put drop cloths down but found them sweeping my floor before they left! Highly recommended.

I had the best experience in a long, long time today, when I called Ryals Brothers, after my AC unit quit working. Keep in mind that is a Sunday and its 7pm. The owner of the company, Ken Elliott, came to my house within 30 minutes. He figured out what the problem was, had the new part on his van and got my AC working by 8pm. In my opinion, thats as good as it gets and I would never use anyone else for any AC issues in the future. Ryals Brothers is the most honest and efficient HVAC company in the state of Florida.

My daughters a/c pump was icing over when it was in the heat mode. She has a home warranty through American Home Shield and the local Lakeland repair company they assigned was going to replace a TXV valve and replace 8 lbs of Freon (even tho my husband was aware the entire system only requires 5.8lbs!) instead of evacuating/capturing and reusing the Freon. This total cost was going to be $675 out of pocket in addition to what the home warranty company was paying. My husband did not agree with Total Air’s diagnosis of the issue so he bypassed the warranty company and called Ryals Bros. They responded within a couple of hours during a very busy/cold spell. Turns out the problem was resolved with $143 electronic sensing control board and $120 service call for a total of $263. Also Ryals told us if they had had to evacuated the Freon for any reason they would have captured and reused it so as not to cause additional out of pocket expense and rack up a bill. Can’t help but believe if we had gone with the first repair company not only would she have been out a lot more money but the problem would not have been fixed and she would have had additional repair expenses. Thank you Ryals Bros for your prompt, professional and quality care today. Nice to know there are still professional honest local businesses to deal with!

Ryals Brothers Inc. will always be my first choice with either air conditioner purchace, maintenance or problems.I recently came back from a trip on a Sat.at 5:30 pm to my house. The temp. was measuring 90 degrees. I contacted Ken, the owner of the company and he not only sent an excellent employee out but also came out himself. This particular unit I have was bought from a different company as I did not know Ryals Brothers Inc. at the time of purchase.They were able to get me up and running over the weekend and drove to Tampa for a coile that had blown on Monday. Today, Ryals Brothers earned a new customer. On Saturday afternoon my AC quit cooling and was just blowing room air. Fortunately the nights were cool, so I was able to sleep without the air for 2 nights until I could call someone on Monday morning. My unit is over 22 years old, so I had already convinced myself that I would have to replace it at a very high cost. I called on Monday morning and the receptionist (I forget her name) was very polite and I told her that I had to work and was hoping for an appointment on Tuesday morning. She said she would schedule a tech to come out after I got off work and take a look. I mentioned to her that the unit was old and she said to let the technician look at it and see what could be done. I was still sure that the whole thing would need replacing. As I was leaving work, Keith (the technician) called to see if he could stop by early, since he wasnt running late. I told him I could meet him in 30 minutes and when I got home, he was already there. I told Keith about my system being old and no longer blowing cold air. He asked if the outside unit was running too. I didnt know so we turned it on and both units (inside and outside) came on. Keith said that both units coming on is a good sign. He checked the outside unit and found a problem with the capicitor. He replaced it and the system was up and running. At no time was I pressured to buy a new system, even though I was expecting to have to buy one. Because of my experience, I am totally sold on this company and will be recommending them to all my friends and neighbors. Thank you Keith and my unnamed receptionist.

This company is not all positive reviews. I called to get service done on my AC. I explained that my insurance company requires a call from them so the insurance company can give them the authorization number to do the work since we are covered under a warranty and the secretary just blew me off and said thats too much for them to do. I explained that the house is terribly hot and we have a two-week-old baby in here and she said, still, thats too much work for them to do, to place a call that takes 90 seconds. Their lack of compassion and laziness puts them on my do-not-call list. I would not recommend this company. I called Sears and theyre happy to do the work for us, including making the 90-second call.

I cant say enough good things about this company. They are very efficient, friendly & above all, honest. The guys doing the work were so nice & respectul. Mr. Ryals dropped by while the installation was being done and personally called me after the job was completed. I wouldnt think of ever using anyone else. Id highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

This is the second time Ive used Ryals Brothers on two different homes. The second was because of the superb installation and service on the first. This install was just as painless and perfect as the first. Ken and his crew did exactly what they said and at a very competitive price. The thermostat was even upgraded at no additional cost to me because Ken thought it was a better, more trouble free unit. I never would of known the difference, but Ken would have known.The system was designed to serve my house and Ken was very specific in his advice of what was needed and what was not needed. It looks perfect! They even corrected some pre-existing issues that were not necessary for the install because the issues did no meet their standards.I was also impressed by the quality of the crew. All members of the team had a competent and neat appearance, were polite, and went right to work. The entire operation went smoothly with Brian supervising. They were done in one day and Im in business.Because they are so much in demand I had to wait for the install, but I was willing to wait for the service and quality I received. Ryals Brothers kept my old system limping along at no additional cost until it could be replace.As far as Im concerned they are the go to air conditioning company in Lakeland.

I am Bill, writing under my grand daughters post name. Our AC has been messed up for over a month. We had a couple of companies come out from recommendations by others. We had terrible experiences including not actually fixing the problem, Ken, from Ryals Bros came out today and diagnosed the real problem very quickly. He fixed several problems stemming form the installation 4 years ago.Ken was very customer friendly ad was only interested in diagnosing and fixing the real cause of the problem. We are very satisfied, will have him back if work is needed, and recommend them anyone needing quality AC work.
