A great local, family owned and operated business, that is professional and very courteous. Everyone from the Service Technician, Installers, and Office Personnel were always helpful and committed towards customer satisfaction. At first, I was not looking forward to having to get my 20 yr old air conditioning fixed and dealing with a contractor, but Derek and his company made it extremely easy. Let me start off by saying that now days it is VERY RARE to find an honest company with 5 star customer relations, and ill also add that its seldom I take the time to write a review like this.Springer Bros checks every box when it comes to what a business should be. They are beating competitive companies with pricing, giving me multiple options for my new AC install which was done on August 5th 2020. The ladies in the office are very polite, and responsive to concerns and phone calls, Nicole was my point of contact. The owner Joe did my quote, he was on-time, polite and explained everything that he did. Compared to 3 quotes he was significantly cheaper for the same size units that other companies quoted me on. I had a high end brand installed with a great labor and parts warranty. The install tech were again on-time, polite, quick and cleaned up the job site.Let me say, im a handyman myself and I am picky and particular about everything. I know that no shortcuts were made during install. Unit works fantastic!Ive received follow up calls to check on the install and my satisfaction. Its been a long time since ive genuinely felt like a company cared about the customer. Springer bros is in my opinion the best of the best in A/C. Called Springer bros when our tenant’s AC unit broke (and was starting to get really hot outside).We had first called around other places but no one could really come out. In the one place that could come out said they could not fix anything until Tuesday (we called on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend - bad timing for AC to break).I called Chad and he was super helpful. Put me in touch with their service people. They came out very shortly after I called and had everything fixed the same day! I was pumped my renter didn’t have to sit in the heat for 2 extra days. Very reasonable pricing too.Luis was the on-call tech. He was super helpful, great attitude, and stayed until 9pm to get the job done.Extremely professional all the way around...from phone calls to punctually. Everything was great. 5 stars.

A few weeks back, I called Springer Bros. out. System worked great, just wanted a basic maintenance service. Everything seemed to go fine, until the next day when the system quit blowing cold for some reason. Called them back out, and they tell me its the fan motor. Seemed like it was working perfectly before, but okay... Day or two later, my system quit working yet again. Called them back out, yet again.. They tell me yet another expensive part has failed. This time the defrost boardAt this point, I was growing suspicious, my system that was working great before, had become a complete basket case for no apparent reason!! So, I refused, sent them packing, and called out an independent HVAC contractor. He came, he found the system to be suspiciously low on refrigerant. He topped it up, said everything looked good otherwise (no new defrost board needed), and he was on his way... Ive waited a few months before writing this review to be sure. And yes, its been working flawlessly again, ever since I got rid of Springer Bros.Now, the way I figure, my interactions with Springer Bros went one of two ways.(1), the techs they sent were grossly incompetent, and somehow didnt seem to notice that they left the system incorrectly charged. (doubtful).... Or.(2) Deliberately dishonest actions which are much less forgivable...I know which one I think it is, and I almost feel like calling 8 on your side!! But instead, I suppose Ill settle for this review. Hoping that it might save at least one other person from being sold expensive, unnecessary HVAC parts. Or perhaps a whole new system!! Which is probably what they were working up to... Why do I even have to leave 1 star? There should be a zero star option.

Springer Bros. Air Conditioning were very professional, punctual, and cleaned up after they finished the job. The experience was no pressure sales. We were informed on many different air conditioning options. Chad explained the benefits of each option and the savings on our future electric bill. He took time with us so we could make the right decision choosing the best options for our home. This is a huge investment and I appreciated Chad for letting us ask a lot of questions.The installation men did a fantastic job. I did get 3 quotes from different companies locally. I made an after hours call during the holiday weekend in which I receive a response within the hour regarding to my emergency. A few hours later a technician responded to my home to address my concern. Due the the severity of my situation and the fact that my system was 19 years old, under the recommendation of the technician, I opted to replace my system. Within two hours, another expert came to my home to discuss my options. At this point everyone that I had been in contact were very professional and addressed my concerns. Due to COVID-19 the system would not be available for several business days so Springer Bros provided 3 AC units in the meantime. Within the week of my emergency call, my new AC Unit was installed by yet another friendly, professional installer. My AC system works perfectly and I am very pleased with my overall service. Springer Bros had kept me informed through the week as I was waiting for my AC system to be delivered and were attentive to my needs at all time. Great service and very professional. This is why we need to support our local businesses, they truly care for their clients.

After searching for a replacement a/c unit for my home I finally found a honest and fair company with Springer Bros. I found them to be knowledgeable, honest and a pleasure to deal with. What a great company to work with. We had to replace 2 air conditioning systems which of course is not a fun experience. However Derek and his team were exceptional. They showed up on time and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Obviously we had a lot of questions as this is a large investment. However Derek and his team never rushed us and never seemed frustrated at all with our many, many questions and many quote revisions!The work was completed within the time frame they told us.The crew was friendly, polite and very courteous in our home. Springer Bros. were great to deal with. Professional from the very first phone call. Needed the annual maintenance done on air system. Had an appointment time from 8 to 10 am and here I thought I will be sitting around waiting and maybe by noon if Im lucky (you know the cable guy, ugh). Very nice gentleman by name of Jason arrived 2 minutes early! I was pleased to see he was in a nice clean company truck with a neat company uniform on. Made me feel more comfortable. Was professional from the get go and even put shoe covers over his boots so he wouldnt mess up my floors. Jason was very thorough, checked everything out and cleaned the entire system. It is an old system and he was honest in telling me the life span I could anticipate. Will definitely be using Springer Bros. again for all my air/heating needs. Have recommended them to my co-workers too. When its time to replace the unit I know who I will be calling!!

We did not know a thing about Derek and Springer Bros. except from their website before we called them. We knew even less about choosing an AC system to replace our worn out 12-year-old unit. We had 2 other salesmen in our home and called a couple others before going with Springer Bros. and we are so glad we did! Springer Bros. went above and beyond in our recent purchase and install of a new Trane system. I dont know if I can say enough good things about their service. Derek took the time to help us make an informed decision that fit our needs and budget as well as answer our many questions. They kept our leaky unit (beyond reasonable repair) filled with refrigerant until the install so we were not without AC in August. We appreciated their attention to detail and that they thoroughly cleaned up after their work. They are very personable and we felt very comfortable with them in our home. Joe Springer and his team of qualified HVAC professionals came to the rescue. We had a few other companies come out and they couldnt fix the issue. We ended up needing a complete system after our air handler kept freezing up. While were waiting for the new system install, our air handler fan motor completely gave out. Joe sent a tech to our house with two portable AC units. He then sent another tech out to fix the motor temporarily so we would have air conditioning before the new install would be complete. Our unit was limping along as it was almost 13 years old (R22 Coolant). The repair would have cost more than it would have been worth. I would gladly recommend Springer Bros. Air Conditioning and heating for there attention to detail and great customer service.

Had Chris over today to look at one of my Heat Pumps, a friend usually looks after my repairs but this one had my friend stumped. Chris jumped out of his truck all ready to go. His energy was impressive as he went from Thermostat to Condenser to air handler checking every pathway that might be faulty. He understood the system and the faults in the system within fifteen minutes, he then commenced to replace capacitors and finally pronounce the thermostat to be bad. Very impressive, lots of expertise there, and a nice guy. You cannot go wrong with Springer !

Called Springer Brother for service on my heat pump (heater wasnt working properly). Chris serviced the unit and clearly explained what was wrong and what repairs were needed. With the age of the unit and the repair cost likely being significant, discussed replacing the unit. Now looking to have a new system installed. Would highly recommend Springer Brothers and Chris for service calls!Update: Had new system installed, cant say enough about the work that was done. We did have a small issue with a switch not working properly, Jared responded to the service call and did an excellent job finding and fixing the problem. Love the new AC unit!

We had Springer Bros. come out to clean our system and install a new thermostat. The thermostat they recommended was well worth it. I am now able to control everything directly from my phone. You can keep it on a set schedule so the home is not cooling unnecessarily during the day when no one is home. If you want to turn the air down in the middle of the night you can just reach for your phone and turn it down. They were prompt, polite, and presentable. A class act that will be used time and time again!

Let me shout this out loud. Luis and Springer Bros AC are totally awesome. Michelle (I think thats your name) in the office too. Totally knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I had previously called P.A. (The company initials) for service and was facing a horrific conclusion. They said a tech would be there on Sunday A.M. The P.A tech arrived as scheduled and i explained to him the outside unit was buzzing and the fan wasnt turning. He took the covers off the unit and started testing the parts with a meter. He said the unit was dirty and needed cleaning. He used a meter to test and I noticed the meter had numbers on it and thought everything was basically looking ok at first. I had previously looked at youtube videos and thought the problem was likely the capacitor. He looked at all the parts, disconnected the wires and test everything with that meter. The tech had me check the breaker in the house and I turned it on and the breaker immediately tripped. So the tech checked the wires to the board and contactor and then clipped a zip tie holding wired laying on the compressor and checked the wires for wear and the ground and then said the compressor was bad and it had shorted out. He then pulled out another test meter that had just lights on it with the top light turning red when he used it and pointed it out to me. He then told me that not only was the compressor bad but the capacitor, the hard start, the contactor, and basically every part was shot and thought either a lightning strike or a power surge was the probable cause. The charge for the service call was $77.00 and he said that the compressor would cost $2791.00 in which the estimate didnt show the cost for the rest of the parts and said I would be better off just buying a new unit. He assured me he was knowledgeable by telling me twice he used to be a sales rep for Trane. I called my home insurance company to see if it was covered. They said that they would send out a person to check the unit first and it would take from 30 - 45 days to replace the unit if it was determined that it was covered. I decided to purchase a portable AC from Home Depot that cost $309 + tax to try to get us through until then. I then decided to call another AC company to get a 2nd opinion and I am thankful to THE LORD I did. This company, Springer Bros. is a GODSEND.

Got in contact with Nicole at Springer Bros for an estimate on a new A/C System, Was met by Joe ( The Owner) 1 day later, ran over all of my options, didnt try to sell me on any specific unit like many other companies did. We decided on a Trane unit (came in way under the competition on price) and in less than a week he had his crew come out on a saturday to install. Very professional and doesnt give you the run around. Joe and Nicole have earned a customer for life! Thanks Springer Bros!

Springer Brothers has been great to us and provided customer service that is far superior than anything I have seen from any business. While on vacation our a/c went out and Springer Brothers came out to our house without hesitation to fix our problem while we were still out of town. We have referred them to my in laws who have bought multiple units from them and are extremely happy they chose Springer Brothers as well.

We have had Springer Bros. servicing our HVAC needs for over 15 years. We have purchased two (2) A/C units from them and had Springer Bros. install and service our units the entire time. We have found the technicians to be professional and well trained. On the latest visit Chris came to the house after Jason had performed our annual service due to the southern part of the house not cooling down. As it turns out a corn snake decided to reside on our capacitor and was promptly dispatched to snake heaven by virtue of high voltage. Needless to say this wreaked havoc with the A/C unit. Springer Bros. was called and the PROMPTLY came to the house and remedied the situation. This company charges a far price for their services and in our experience has always delivered on their promises.

If your reading this post, your search for a hvac company is over. There is a reason this company has a 5 star rating. I called needing two 19 year old units replaced for my house. Immediately I had two very pleasant, professional, and honest people (who I believe were the owners) come over to go over options. Keep in mind prior to Springer Bro’s coming over I called Wards to do the same. Only two companies that offer train units I could find in Lakeland. There’s a reason Wards at this time has a 2.5 star rating. I won’t go into detail as it would be unprofessional on my part, however I will tell you the prices were very similar with Springer brothers offering more and Springer bro’s having the decency to call you back. Maybe Wards didn’t need the 11k sale..I’ll never know nor do I care at this point. With that said, I had a crew of 6 come over to begin work. They laid down tarps on my floors, cleaned up after themselves, played with my dogs, and were very personable people. They had to do some fabrication in order to make the newer air handlers fit and I must say, again there’s a reason they have a 5 star rating! Don’t get discouraged with the 11k price, I needed two large a/c units and needed more duct work installed along with some modifications, not your normal day for an install. They took on this challenge, did it within a day, was on time, registered my units, and took the time to show me how to use the smart thermostats. Honestly I probably would have paid the 11k just for the thermostats...it’s that cool! They WILL have my business for my yearly service now along with my rental house maintenance.Thank you Springer Brothers, Lakeland’s ONLY hvac company in my opinion:)

A quality HVAC service company, with reasonable prices, prompt and professional service, that explains what is being done to my system in terms that I can understand, and who is truly working hard to win my business.The service technicians (Chris & Ray) are true professionals in their trade, and in their mannerisms. I purchased this home as a foreclosure and it had its share of problems: notably poor AC maintenance. Derek (the one who gave me the estimate for repairs) did not try to sell me a new system (its only 8 years old). Instead, he simply suggested ways to maintain the system. Chris did an outstanding job explaining what he was doing as the work progressed; Ray was surgical in having the tools & equipment ready when needed.As a lifelong Florida resident, I have learned to be skeptical with many service companies. At last I have found one that I can be truly confident is looking out for my best interest. Not once did any technician or representative try the hard sell to get me into a new system, unnecessary repairs, or even to enter a service contract. Actually, I was the first to mention annual service; and they have won my loyalty.If my HOA wouldnt complain (I live next door to the president), I would be happy to put a Springer Brothers sign in my yard. I recently purchased an older home in Lakeland and wanted a professional evaluation of the existing HVAC system in the home prior to finalizing the contract. I contacted Springer Brothers and Derek offered to personally evaluate the system. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and determined that the system was sufficient rather than try to push unnecessary costs to me. He even shared with me some easy DIY ways to make my system more efficient. The system is working well and I recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality high character HVAC service team.

What a surprise! My unit was getting old and before the prices go any higher, I decided to replace my older AC system. I called multiple companies and got Multiple quotes from 7k to 10k. With there quotes they explained it would be a while to get a full system in stock. No one seemed to have a full system in stock. I called Springer Brothers because their website said they had units in stock. Chad came out to give me a quote. He was prompt, professional and presented a pretty darn good price. Surprisingly, he had many units in stock. I signed up for it immediately. Logan and his install team, were very polite and efficient. They removed my old system and professional installed the new one. I have to say, it was overall a very positive experience. Thank you.
