Simple pedicure- not so simple as my gel polish was from a long time ago( over 6 weeks). Amy could not have been nicer. Up front pricing and explained extra charge for old gel removal. Loved my experience

My daughter and I had pedicures, and as I was standing at the counter trying to pay...The owner/manager chased my 13 year old down outside and demanded she come back and pay. She was rude and didnt even apologized to my daughter about the whole situation. If the woman had been somewhat a professional, she could have rectified the situation. However, she acted like it was no big deal....and my daughter was quite embarrassed at being treated like a common thief. We will not be back.

First and last time I will ever come here.Charged 16 dollars to remove half chipped gel manicure polish from my hands. Acetone, cotton balls, aluminum foil.When they charge 18 dollars for an entire manicure.Ridiculous. Every other salon in winter haven doesn’t even charge for a removal and if so five dollars being the most. Just ridiculous with zero communication.

Clean, great powder dip. They give a little extra attention in the relaxing and leg massage part of the pedicure. they dont make you feel rushed. A full menu to fit anyones budget.

My favorite place. Everyone there is wonderful. Always so clean and welcoming.

I forgot to ask the name of my nail tech but I believe her name was either Jill or Kim. She was amazing! I came in with a set I had gotten some where else and I HATED them. I told her I wanted to take them off and just start a whole new set. She convinced me she could fix them AND save me money and she totally came through! She spent so much time making sure the shape waa perfect she was very meticulous. She turned my most hated set of nails into probably my most favorite! Definitely my new go to salon.

Nice staff, clean my nails were 100$ for an acrylic nail set with gel polish and nail art, was was serviced after I walked in no wait I found that very welcoming

I had got a pedicure and they didnt get my heel smooth enough its still rough... I also paid with my fiancés card who was not with me and they made me call him amd ask for him to send me a picture of his ID... I SJOWED THEM THE PICTURE AND THE GUY TOOK A PICTURE OF IT!!! overall i paid 99 dollars for 2 people to get pedicures and 1 person a manicure and toes painted...Also tjey had a little dog and he keep barking and growling at the baby in the stroller ...

Ton is great had a pedicure they take their time even if there’s people waiting. Clean and nice first time and will go back. My husband and daughter went and got one too and loved it.

This place is so bad. Do not go there! It is just as much money to get a fill in than it is to get a full set. My daughter got a pedicure and al they did was her toe nails. Also the fill in was horrible. They didnt file my previous nail down enough for the fill in. They look horrible. I would NOT recommend them!

I stopped to get a fill in because I was going to HomeDepot. The operator was Lily. She dropped the drill on my hand & it hurt, but I then developed a cyst on my finger, it took only minutes . The manager looked & told me it was arthritic. No way, I did not have this when I came in, The results this was an accident, but they didn’t even apologize. I certainly will never return to this establishment because their attitude is disgraceful. My doctor acknowledged the cyst was caused my the injury to my finger.

I never make an appointment and am always taken care of within a few minutes. Every tech has been very good. I especially like the liner in the foot bath being changed after each client.

I hate to say it...if you are not white and elderly this is not the place for you. They should have a WHITES ONLY sign outside. Everyone else is treated rudely with no respect. Even if you speak in a differ language, your tone, body language, & jesters tell all. You have been warned. Very racists business!

I finally found a nail salon that knows how to take care of my diabetic feet. Unfortunately I live in Miami and Golden Nails Salon is located in Lake Wales, a round trip of approx. 450 miles. However on a visit to my Mother in law, she suggested the salon, she goes to for many years.Let me say, I was not disappointed, as a matter of fact Lily, the charming lady that did my mani / pedi, knew exactly what I was trying to explain to her.Manicure is not a problem for me, but pedicure (diabetic feet) is something that needs special care and attention. Lily handed me a menu, I picked # 2 ( I did not want my toe nails clipped (podiatrist does that), for about 45 minutes I enjoyed the very best of foot spa treatment I EVER had.Golden Nails in Winterhaven is a reason to visit mother in law more often. Thanks mother for sending me there and thank you Lily for the wonderful foot spa experience !!! As the saying goes Ill be back

They do a good job.

I recently moved to the area and this nail salon is right up the road so I decided to try them since my old salon was much further away. I must say the tech was nice and so was everyone who greeted me with smiles. However, I received a terrible SNS nail job. There maybe be some good techs in there but I had an experience with one that didn’t do a good job. I tried giving them a second try and I just didnt receive quality at all. Although it’s very close to home I rather drive further away to receive quality.

I ventured away from my normal place and regret it! I got a fill in and my nails are hideous. They look like lumpy bubbles. The lady who did my nails got an attitude with me because I couldn’t find the gel polish in the color I wanted. She didn’t paint the ends of my nails so the polish is already chipping. I had them done this past weekend. Also, she left some hot pink polish on the sides from my previous color. Big waste of $32!

My understanding is that most of the people who work here are very professional and good at what they do, but my experience with Lindsey was awful. She put the wrong color powder on my nail for the dip but then told me no its fine (it is pink and I got French tips). some of my nails are crooked, there was a fuzz stuck in the nail polish on one of my nails I told her about and was pointing at it so she could get it off before putting another coat of polish on but she pushed my hand out of the way and started to paint my nail anyway. Once she saw it she buffed it out and repainted it. She also made me bleed from the Dremel tool.

Best nail salon in Lake Wales!

I entered the store and the employees and managers were arguing about who were going to give me service. They called the lady from the back who gave me attitude and patted the chair and told me to “alright sit here!”- as if I were a pet. I gathered my things and walked out. Mind you, a white woman walked in and received service immediately. I encourage all of my women of color to NOT ever step foot into that salon. They are racist and they believe we do not tip and only white people tip. Dear Asians and Whites, not all black people do not tip. A huge amount of us tip very well.Sincerely, the woman who left and found an amazing nail shop.

I really love the way my pedicure was done great gob.

My daughter and I went in for sns full set, were both taken after a couple min. After 10 min the woman with my daughter decided she doesnt have the time n tells us she doesnt have time to do my daughter them proceeds to make her get up while she then goes around the shop not really doing anything. The woman that did my nails clearly didnt know what she was doing. When I asked for ombre they wanted to charge me an EXTRA $25!! Hard pass on that. Then the woman didnt know where any of the things were that she needed. She used her finger to press down the and powder onto my nails which Ive never seen it had done in all the time of getting it done. This caused the sns to be bumpy n uneven. Im extremely dissatisfied and will drive all the way to Kissimmee to my old nail place where I can get beautiful nails for a decent price.

This is one of the worst experience ever. The person I had pretty much spent more time giving me foot massage that I didnt even care for. I will never come here again.

Poor management.. my daughter and I came in to get a mani/pedi. Our pedicure was nice but our manicure was definitely subpar and unfinished. The polish was so diluted that you could see right through it with three coats. What seemed to be the owner took over after she berated me for complaining about the polish. I started to record the conversation because there was no need for such attitude. She announced to her customers that they needed to be a witness to the conversation. Of course her regulars will be her witness but I only spoke calmly to her and she got loud with me and my nine year old daughter.She tried to redo the botched job and admit that the polish was diluted but said she didn’t have a new polish in yellow to redo our nails (based on the design we had requested- - beauty and the beast design).I expressed that the polish was still able to be seen through and she asked her regulars, by name, to inspect our nails (obviously not accredited professionals...)At this point, I asked her if she wanted me to consult with the nail salon across the street and she said no. Highly inappropriate and unprofessional. We felt completely targeted just by speaking our peace. I stayed calm, monotone and orderly and she was loud and attention seeking.Stay far away from this place unless you want the staff and regulars to verbally attack you!

Young lady had attitude from the minute I walked in and told her what I wanted. The manager or owner, not sure asked me to complain so I did. Ive never complained about a place, so i feel bad for doing so, but customer service is dead.
