This location is terrific.Clean facilities, friendly staff. Great equipment.I am currently take training classes with Andrew as my instructor.Andrew is extremely helpful, patient and always strives for me to do my best without overworking or overwhelming me.I got serious about losing the Covid-15 I put on, and am so glad to have picked 24-hour Lake Mary to accomplish this.I paid a year in full, no hidden fees, no extra charges.Thanks to J Bo and Andrew for getting me into shape!

I have been going to this gym since its opening, and they never failed to be engaging and caring especially during covid. The importance of remaining sanitary and social distancing is what I highly appreciate, and the trainers are amazing

We were disappointed in that 80% of the people working out were not wearing masks. Also while they have disinfectant to wipe the equipment no one was wiping anything off after using the equipment. I wouldn’t go back.We normally work out at their Winter Park facility which is much better. They enforce wearing masks and patrons wipe the equipment down.

Much better facility and staff then my previous gym at LA Fitness. Ed is awesome and very informative. Great to see him first thing in the am.We are not all packed on top of each other, plenty of machines. I love it here.

Very unhelpful and non responsive to clients. When you share concerns over equipment malfunctions they could care less, especially the facilities manager.

This place has it all in a warm, comfortable setting. Start at any fitness level and they have the activity for you. Special shout out to Lauren, personal trainer and aerial yoga champ, for her inclusive yoga classes where all are welcome, and to J-Bo for being so considerate during a recent ‘lack of funding’ situation due to a pending divorce. You handled my request with utmost professionalism, even though you look like the freaking boss with those muscles and tattoos! LOL #proud24

Worst 24 hr fitness location. I waited 20 minutes for them to fix the locker and they still couldnt get it right.

I started at the Lake Mary location over a year ago. I have never had any issues with this gym. I also have a personal trainer, Hans H. He is by far one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He has worked with me through injuries and has helped me improve my fitness level immensely. All of the staff there have been very supportive and encouraging. I love it here !!

Went there to try their free membership to see how I liked it. Trying to get the membership was a hassle, employees kept taking my card and scanning it and kept asking me the same questions. The gym is also very dirty and isn’t well maintained

24 hour has a lot to offer - high quality equipment, lots of space, basketball court, pool, classes, childcare and personal training. Im pleased with the selection of free weights and machines and it rarely gets overcrowded if you are out before 8am. For those who need to get an early workout, even on the weekend, you cant beat the hours. I was at LA Fitness for 5 years before 24 Hour opened and wouldnt consider going back. For those who want to commit longer at a lower price, if youre a member at Costco check their 2 year prepaid plan.

Probably the nicest 24 Hour Fitness location I personally have ever been to, and Ive been to a fair number. I cant imagine wanting a gym to have anything that this location doesnt have, unless youre looking for a hardcore chalk-and-yelling-is-encouraged type of vibe (nothing wrong with that, of course, its just not the vibe that 24s generally seem to go for). Well worth a visit, and it would definitely be my go-to gym if I lived in the area (currently just visiting from Salt Lake City).

Do NOT sign up here. I cancelled my membership in September and they did not process it correctly. So they continued to charge me annual dues, monthly dues, AND monthly membership fee. They have so many hidden fees and dues, and then make it impossible to cancel. They will nickel and dime you all day and lie to your face. I just had to spend 30 minutes with corporate explaining the situation of their operations manager Brittany Rosario not processing my cancellation paperwork and they could not even reimburse me. They had to submit a club escalation and said Brittany will call me in 3-5 business days, meanwhile they will continue to charge me monthly dues. This is absurd. I recommend you go to LA fitness.UPDATE 12/3**I never received a phone call from the General Manager, Brittany Rosario, in 3-5 business days as they promised. So after a few weeks of no reimbursement, I had to call their corporate billing account. They said that they could not do anything except escalate it to the District Manager, who will call me in 3-5 business days. So now it has been a 4 months since I filed my paperwork to cancel my membership, and they still have not reimbursed me for 3 months of excess charges and an annual fee. This is by far the most convoluted system I have ever seen. Do not waste your time with this club/organization.

Cool.Now I have a 1 month pass so I can test this place out and maybe choose to go here instead of APEX, and because there was no sales associate, I cant activate the pass?Great, do you guys not want my business? If not, just dont bother opening. Ill keep my money at APEX and just refrain for having to deal with the nonexistent amount of service your establishment brings. Staff are all super nice. The facility is HUGE and very clean. There is SO much to do and so many classes to choose from. It may be because it is new, but there werent a ton of people there taking the machines that you want to use. Its a bit on the pricey side but once you start using your membership, youll understand why. So far, we are very happy.

Still closed even after the entire state said it was ok to open. Definitely have to find another gym.**and now theyre filing bankruptcy. No wonder theyre not opening.

Poor customer service. Just relocated to Sanford for work and was looking for a gym for the next year. The woman at the front desk would not honor my 3 day pass because of out of state license. She wanted $25 for a day pass. Went down the street to LA Fitness and was treated much better. Free week pass to check it out, and much better monthly price too.

Mid day visit, Wednesday 11/6. Out of towner with a 24 Hr membership so this visit was free either way. Reading the reviews on here, I wasnt sure what to expect. I travel a lot, have multiple gym memberships, and am at a gym every day. This is a Great Gym. Period. New equipment. Spacious. Clean. Friendly, young crowd. Not crowded. Frankly I don’t know what else you could want in a gym that costs $45 a month.

Since moving to Sanford I tried this and Orange Theory as one of two corporare options from work. While Orange Theory was great, after 4 months Id already lost their $100 fit tracker and found that 24 Hour Fitness had much a more challenging variety of classes and equipment. Jabo and Paul were able to offer exceptional personal training options perfect for my needs as an aging former athlete.As for the other members, staff, and trainers nothing but courtesy and respect. There arent any thugs here, although it seems there are some who have difficulty with the all are welcome policy.

A nice and new facility that does offer good gym equipment and a nice staff and friendly management.

The cleanliness of this club has hit rock bottom. A used tampon was left in the shower stall. There is always hair in all of the drains, there is mold and mildew on the shower heads. The hot tub has broken and loose tiles which is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Trash in the front exterior trash cans were left the entire weekend overflowing. It is absolutely sad this club of a little over a year has been neglected not only by the members but the company. I want out of my contract due to this!

DON’T EVER COME TO THIS GYM. THE MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE AND THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THEM THEY WILL SAY THEY ARE BUSY AND THEY’LL WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK. Be careful when joining this gym. I cancelled back in July to switch to LA. The manager at the time told me she’d freeze the account and after about a week my account should close automatically. Well she lied cause as of November and December of last year and January of this year I was charged as if I were still a member.I called twice. First time the guy said he’d note everything I told him onto my account and a manager would call me by the end of the week. No call.Second time I call I had to repeat everything I said to the first guy because the first guy didn’t write any notes onto my account. This second guy told me the same thing that a manager would call and nothing.I HAD TO GO IN PERSON to get my refund. I only got November and December. For some reason I couldn’t get my refund for January. When I asked why the manager said “I’m already giving you back $200.” Yea the $200 that we’re stolen from me. I was then told to email ANOTHER manager because this manager couldn’t do anything more. I emailed the manager TWICE and no response. My sister has called corporate TWICE and still no refund.I’m still waiting for my refund.Tldr; LA is more affordable and the people that work there are actually nice and don’t scam you.

When I was looking at gyms in the area, I was wary of this location based on the negative reviews. After attending for the last 2 weeks, I can say that they arent accurate. The staff have been very friendly, consistently greeting me or saying goodbye and basically remembering roughly who I am. While working out, Ive also noticed that the staff and trainers will check the machines, clean them off, and reset them to proper positions plus put weights back that were left out. The lockers and swimming area are very clean as well. So far, its been a great place to train and I look forward to my time there each day.I also wanted to add that JBo Harrison, the master trainer, has been very helpful and friendly when Ive visited and I appreciate him and the staff going out of their way to welcome everyone.

Don’t trust this gym or their employees. They’ll take your money and blame you for not knowing any better. Took me calling corporate and threatening a lawsuit to finally get my refund that I was owed 3 weeks later. La fitness is better anyway 🙄

Favorite gym in the Lake Mary area!!! They treat my son awesome in daycare, the price is worth it if you actually use the amenities, take advantage of the classes, and can use a gym that’s open 24/7. I did run into the same problem with the guest pass and no manager being available at night to activate it but I saw this more as a small hurdle to my fitness goals, which wasn’t going to stop me, so I showed up less than 12 hours later activated it and then signed my family up before my guest pass was up!

When it opened I loved it because everything was clean and brand new but as of late I noticed it’s not being kept up.1. The floors are already getting dirty especially in and around the machines.2. The upstairs bathroom stays dirty3. Kids are always in the steam room/sauna on wknds4. It clearly says no street shoes but there’s no one monitoring so the rules are not followed.

My wife and I are evacuees from Hurricane Michael. Our town lost everything and we are stuck in Orlando for weeks. I reached out to 24 Hour Fitness to see about a day pass or week pass. They asked about my situation and immediately opened the doors to a week to the gym, at no charge.Were devastated with the destruction of our area but the outpouring of love shown by people like Brittney (the GM) of 24 Hour Fitness give us comfort in a time of so much uncertainty.

The gym was fine at first but it went downhill pretty quickly. The roof is constantly leaking water and one machine specifically is always wet because of it. Why should I pay $42 a month to have water randomly drip on my face while I work out?Ive been told I had to leave the gym numerous times due to random firealarms going off and power outages, which is a huge inconvenience when I have things to get done and drove all the way there for a quick workout.

Im just echoing a lot of other reviews here. I came in with a guest pass at 11:01pm and was told only a manager could activate it. Okay sure that is reasonable. I happened to also be with two other members at the time and they told the man behind the desk he is our guest, we also have a guest pass for him. The guy then responded that they dont allow guests in past 11pm. At this point Im already jacked up on pre-workout so this whole thing was super inconvenient. It wouldnt be as bad if it said on the pass by the way only managers can activate this and also dont come after 11pm, but it doesnt. I cant give it a 1 star because I didnt get a chance to see inside, and am sure it has some redeeming qualities other than their customer service. Apex is right down the street and is AMAZING! I will just continue giving my money to them.

So I just found out this location will no longer be 24 hours come December 2. This gym is called 24 hours I have a 1 year and the hours of the daycare are not available after my work schedule. I like to come btwn the hours of 1-4 am which they will now be closed which I find to be absurd. They are about 7-8 of us (same people) there at this time everyday. Why have the name 24 hours if you are not a 24 hour gym?

Gym has nice amenities. Equipment is new and staff is nice. But still, one of the most expensive 24hrs out there. No towel service, no guests no family plans.

Got a 3 day trial pass. Part of the pass was logging in my info and what not and come to find out you need it to be CONSECUTIVE days. Which the whole point to my “24 hr Fitness” journey was to do it BEFORE work which the salesman knew and said he will note the account. This morning was the 3rd and final BUSINESS DAY of my pass.. woke up at 3am for rude ass customer service to steer me away after lying about a couple things. It’s a gym not a prison. I was signing up this afternoon after work but they lost on this one. Piss poor customer service.......

Worst experience ever, I signed up for personal training, I was mislead on how the payment would be, was told if I wasnt satisfy I would get refund, and when I called in they say they cant get refund even on the sessions I did not use.They will say anything to make you buy and do nothing when it comes to making sure you are satisfied

OK, so overall the place is beautiful, clean, and friendly, have no problems with that. The reason for two stars is (like with many other complaints) I felt like I got swindled in a 1 year membership (with contract) and 5 sessions. Having the staff stating Ill be able to get a refund after 5 sessions, I thought why not. After 2 weeks of scheduling these 5 sessions, I was told I couldnt get a refund b/c I didnt have any complaints. The trainer was great and didnt want him to get in trouble, though apparently you cant get your money back just b/c you dont want to continue the sessions! So now Im stuck in this contract and wasted almost $300! Please think long and hard before sighing up here.*shouldve stayed at planet fitness*

Im confused by some of the negative reviews for this club. Ive been a member since they had their grand opening earlier this year, and have had great experiences. The staff is professional and very welcoming. I absolutely love GX24. They offer such a large variety of classes to suit a wide range of fitness levels and preferences. Im a Zumba enthusiast so Im thrilled that they offer Zumba every evening, with times that fit my work schedule. These instructors make exercise super fun! Major kudos to my favorites including Annette, Heather, GeeGee and Patrizio...woot, woot!!! Thanks for getting me back on track with my health and fitness goals!

Did 3 day trial for family and was pleased enough to sign up. It’s gone downhill since. Locker rooms are filthy more often than not. Staff is rude and have been dishonest when answering specific questions on several occasions. Don’t seem to care about customer satisfaction at all once you’ve signed up.Equipment is good, but staff allows people to sit on equipment while playing on their phone for a few minutes between each set, while other gym members Sit and wait patiently. That’s not something hat happens occasionally, as is to be expected (unfortunately) in most gyms. It’s worse here than any other gym we’ve ever had a membership at.And to top it off, the GM at this location is on a POWER TRIP. One of those people who probably got picked on and made fun of in school, and now has a little power 😂😂 and takes it way overboard.

If you decide to sign up at this gym make sure you ask all the questions in the world because they are absolutely tricksters when it comes to signing you up, they will sweet talk you to the moon and back till they lock you in like a snake locks its prey!!!! Literally!!! The hidden fees are overwhelming and the amount of money they charge is way overpriced!!! Make sure if you for some odd reason decide to sign up that you uncover every little hidden fee because they will rush thru the process quick and mumble jumble there way to the final signature!!!! The gym of course is nice but so is a double quarter pounder with cheese and thats not good for you!!!! This gym will shine bright like a diamond when you walk in but will empty your pockets like backed up child support!!! Everytime now when i drive by this gym i hit the accelerator so that they wont charge me some type of toll or something since they have so many hidden fees. Place is scary im telling you!!!

I signed up for the 3 day trial pass then walked 2 miles from where I was staying to get to the gym.I was turned away because my address is over 25 miles away on my ID.My opinion for working out anyway was to pay $25 for a day pass. Needless to say I didnt do that

Why cant I workout past midnight?

Tried to take a tour at this location. Told me I could not use my free 3 day pass or take a tour since I did not live within 25 mi radius. Awful management, clueless employees. I can only imagine what their gym is like since I will never see it.

I dont care for the workout area much, but the spa area and squat racks are worth the membership price
