Spoke with Craig Doland about an open claim that we had where the other party was at fault. My wife and I were unsuccessful in reaching out to the other insurance to extend our rental and cover our deductible. I reached out to my local agent at this branch and spoke with Mr. Doland who was able to get answers very quickly and even called back within an hour with great results and had a very positive attitude. I have been with Allstate for 34 years and went through Hurricane Rita with them. They were very good and treated us right, however, for this hurricane (LAURA), WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH THEM. THEY HAVE LOW-BALLED US AND TREATED US LIKE WE WERE OUT TO CHEAT THEM. I have NEVER been so disgusted in all my life with an insurance company; and, I will certainly be thinking HARD about another company. BTW: for 34 years Ive always been happy with them but now?????? And from what I hear, Im not the only one!
