Rented two units at Kaanapali Plantation in August. During the stay, Chase N Rainbows called and said they were reupholstering all the dining room chairs in one of the condos in the middle of our stay. We were without dining room chairs for 48 hours.Also, the pool was closed for the entirety of our stay. When I called Chase N Rainbows to ask when it would be opened, they were unaware the pool was even closed for maintenance.Of the two condos, one was in very good shape and just as the pictures described. The other was older and in need of updating. The pictures made it appear much nicer than it actually was.The location was great and the people we encountered from Chase N Rainbows were both pleasant.

Five stars for Chase N Rainbows, who were very easy to work with throughout and were fantastic about assisting with rescheduling due to COVID issues with travel. We stayed at Hale Mahina B404 and really liked the unit overall. Four stars for the unit.The good: There were sea turtles sunning on the beach every day (literally every day - 8 in a row) and we were able to swim with them every day that we snorkeled off of the hotel beach (unforgettable!). The property is well maintained and the beach is really nice - good amount of space for a small complex, never crowded, day to access from the condo. Convenient location for visiting Lahaina and Kapalua. The unit itself was in good shape and comfortable overall. The views are fantastic - straight on, unobstructed ocean view with Molokai in the distance.The bad: The condo is very warm, particularly in the loft. The breezes do allow things to cool off some, but in order to get the breeze to really move through you have to open the front door and there is no screen or security door. The loft was also pretty noisy, as you might expect. It opens to the kitchen and living area.All in all we really liked this rental and definitely recommend it. We were a party of 6 (teenagers and adults). The posted photos are the ocean view from the lanai of the unit, the complex from the on-site beach, and one of our sea turtle friends at the Hale Mahina beach.

I arrived and was initially pleased to see the place and how it match the pictures, description,  and the location was beautiful.  That evening,  I came back to the place and I immediately saw three reddish, brown bugs and killed them. I understand it is a tropical environment and I thought that would probably be it. Within minutes of looking up and around the place it was clear there is a pest problem and it has not been properly/ recently sprayed.  Due to it being late and the issue being so severe I ran to the store for some bug spray, as there was no way I would be able to sleep with the current number of what I assumed were cockroaches around the place and it was too late to call the property manager.First thing in the morning, at 8 a.m. I text the property manager phone number that you included in the binder sitting on the table. I included details and pictures -- throughout the entire visit to got no response from that phone number. At 4 p.m., upon getting back to the room and continuing to see cockroaches all over the room I called the property manager, understanding that they were probably closed but that this was my second attempt. Not receiving a phone call until the next morning at 9:15 a.m. to which I describe the situation and explained that I had text the previous morning, I was told that I would hear back from them and heard nothing.Throughout my days at your place I found and killed cockroaches EVERYWHERE- the bed, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, etc...Then, we were packing to leave your place and I set an outfit for my child to grab right on the entry glass table in the kitchen, somehow in the confusion and hurry of leaving the outfit was left. So by 11 am, the checkout time I reached out to Trinity Maid staff,  which I believe is also owned by the property management company and asked if they found the outfit (described in detail) and asked if I could come back for it. It took 24 hours to get the full response to which they said that they did not find it.Truly disappointed in my stay on many levels.

We have rented through Chase N Rainbows a few times and it is always a great experience. They were upfront about the construction going on at the complex we stayed at, but it was not a big issue for us. Love their towels. Had a couple of maintenance issues that we didnt expect to be taken care of during our stay, but they were, much to our surprise and appreciation.

This was the best property we ever stayed on at Lokelani... Tremendous value for the space and location.. Turtles swimming by almost every day too.. management was very professional and took care of us even when we had some small hiccups .. I never stayed at the same place twice that might change after this past trip.. thanks again chase n rainbows!!!

Amazing location location location - oceanfront and walking distance to Lahaina and Baby Beach. That said there are some areas that could use updates - the screens on the bedroom doors and windows are made of bamboo and are see through and let a lot of light through - the bathroom door is also semi se through. The only dining table for four is inn the verandah - its tight and wobbly. The glass for the verandah door does not look like its tempered and could be a safety issue. The bedroom furniture in the master is such that there is little room to maneuver - the dresser (the only place to store your stuff) is half full with the owners stuff and the cupboard have very few hangers and cannot be accessed easily due to the bed being to close.

The condo location and Makani Sands itself is a wonderful location with awesome amenities.Now the bad: The Condo had several issues that were not mentioned or shown in the pictures. The owners dont upkeep very well and isnt maintained much either. Huge hole in shower ceiling, pipes visible and all; a white rag used a filler for a hole in the wall near siding door that was being hidden by moving the curtains over; Paint peeling off walls. We made it work because, well, we had too. Wasnt going to let our first vacation in two years ruin our favorite place to visit as a family every year, plus everywhere is sold out on the islands at the time. Chase n Rainbows was available when we contacted them with concerns, and provided a 10% refund. I just cant see how these things werent caught before got there. I will probably never rent from this site again due too this experience and hope they can get the owners to care about their place so others dont have the same experience.

I have been using chase n rainbows for over 10.yrs for my accommodations while staying in Maui . They are very helpful and friendly. Never had a problem with anything. They make it very easy.

Chase N Rainbows went above and beyond for u. Two days before our arrival date We were told that the original condo we rented wouldn’t be ready for our trip which was disappointing but Chase N Rainbows made it right. They put us into 2 amazing condos for our visit and refunded some of our payment for the inconvenience. I will definitely be renting a condo from them on our next trip.

I rented with Chase N Rainbows in late February for about a week with a group of four adults. The place was clean, with plenty of chairs and tables and counter space. They made the check-in process simple with clear instructions. Every part of the condo was working properly besides the WiFi, but they gave us a second WiFi right away. And the outlets in the bathroom were really stiff, and the right screen door was not unable to unlock, but you can still slide it open. Those may be issues to some people, but that didn’t affect/bother my group. We just worked around it and let the property managers know after we checked out. The beds were comfortable, and once you have the windows open, the rooms feel so elegant. No A/C is needed during the nighttime. The staff couldn’t be any better. They were helpful and quick to reply at any time of the day. They were considerate and understanding that my group had a late flight and knew we were excited for a vacation because we had a slight noise complaint our first day but knew it was nothing serious. I would definitely recommend and look forward to booking in the near future!

Worst company ever, do not stay at any Chase N Rainbows property. Lots of things didnt work, faucet, lights etc. On our last day we were taking our bags to the car and came back to get the rest of our things only to have been locked out 20 minutes before 11:00 AM. Worst experience ever

Stayed for 8 days now in Lahaina at Valley Isle resort. The grounds were perfectly maintained. The pool and bbq areas were clean and great for our bbqs. Our unit was clean, spacious, and had everything you would need. The condo was well stocked with toiletries, soaps and towels. We rented towels and they were in the condo waiting for us upon arrival. Their instructions were easy to follow upon arrival. And the views from the resort were five star. I will be using their services on our next trip to Maui. My only suggestion to Chase ‘N Rainbows is to expand their rentals to chairs and umbrellas for the beach. That would have been a complete package. Great time with my family of six at a great location. Mahalo.

Chase N Rainbows made our first trip to Hawaii a beautiful and memorable experience. We stayed at Valley Isle #1204 which gave us a stunning beachfront view of the ocean. From this vantage point, we watched hundreds of whales passing by; blowing, breaching, tail and fin splashing!!! It was fantastic! Our condo had a full well stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, and beach supplies - chiars, umbrella, and snorkel equipment. My favorite part was sitting out on the lanai taking in the beauty of Maui - AND falling asleep listening to the ocean waves.The folks at Chase N Rainbows were excellent to work with throughout the entire process of our vacation. Great savings! We always book through Aston Mahana, but this time tried Chase N Rainbows. We saved $2,500! Our condo was lovely and nice like the ones we book through Aston. We worked with Linda and she made renting easy and answered all of our questions before we put down our deposit. We stayed for 15 nights and so house keeping only came once and that ended up being plenty. We are pretty neat and I kept our bath towels washed. We will rent through this company next time we visit.

Excellent service by Chase N Rainbows. My husband and I rented a resort studio unit on Maui for a week in November 2016. Everything from booking, payment, travel information, pick up, and drop off were seamless. They offered an after-hours lock box for us to pick up our keys since our flight arrived after office hours. Easily accessible location. Unit was maintained well and well equipped. Would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. Will be using Chase N Rainbows again on our next (hopefully soon) trip to Maui.

The managed condo in Mahana at Kaanapali was wonderful and I cant think of any way Chase N Rainbows could have done a better job. Very happy with the process and delighted with the property.

The company, Chase N Rainbows was top notch, very attentive in every way. However, the location Lahaina Roads, while it gave us an excellent view, left a lot to be desired in terms of adjacent neighbor noise and acoustics. I realize the building is old, but one should not be able to hear complete conversations just outside their bedroom, likewise those outside should not be able to hear what is being said inside (in normal speaking voice). ALSO, it was rather disappointing for us to have to turn the air conditioning off each time we left the unit or be threatened with having to pay an additional fee. ITS HOT IN HAWAII and when we would return, the unit was miserable, hot, damp and uncomfortable. The air conditioning eventually cooled it off....but... Lastly, we had a toddler with us. Hardly toddler friendly to find roach baits everywhere....which of course...means there are roaches around. Again, the view....incomparable.

Love this company. They set us up with a beautiful direct oceanfront studio at 201 Pohailani. It was very easy to deal with this company, and the condo we got exceeded our expectations. Also the price was so good, we got to spend the extra money going on a snorkeling cruise. This company is highly recommended.

We rented K203 in Ainu Lanu (Lahaina). The apartment is a bit small and many lights were burnt out. Location is good. Chase N Rainbows, the management company, quickly handled two problems we had. They were excellent.

Chase n Rainbows did a sensational job for us. Everything we asked for, they provided and more. We were so happy with our ocean front condo and the sound of the waves.

We booked K203 in Ainu Lanu (Lahaina) in March for 8 nights. The apartment was nice, clean and good location. Beds were very comfy. Main complaints were:1) noise, 2 nights dogs barked all night, loud even with windows closed. Called Chasin rainbows, they said they can not control the Neighbors’s so sorry.2) the unit charged $200 extra for parking for the 8 days, that should be in the price up front3) the Chasin Rainbow sight is private so they can pick and choose which reviews to put on there sightOverall we had a decent experience but in future we will be staying at a big hotel on the beach that has free breakfast and parking on Maui and will book with Costco.

Ive stayed with two different Chase N properties for the past two years in a row. Always pleased with accommodations, great value, and top notch locations and service. Planning another visit again this year and will use Chase N Rainbows.

Aloha, we booked a one bedroom condo at Honua Kai (Maui) through Chase N Rainbows. Linda stated she had to contact the owner of the condo to make sure three people would be okay. It was my wife, 1 year old daughter and me. She stated the owner had a strict policy of two people only. I said, no problem, contact the owner and see if its okay. She calls back and states its approved and that I could book the property. They took my deposit and I had confirmation of our booking. Therefore, I booked our flights. Three hours later.... I get a call back from the manager telling me the owner is now withdrawing his approval??? Obviously, Im pretty heated since I booked our flights. In any case, she says there is nothing she could do, period. I incurred a flight cancellation fee and they would not reimburse me. They did return my deposit. I understand things happen and it is what is. In any case, the thing that turned me off aside from all that is that they tried to sell me in renting some of their other properties. bait and switch? The nerve... why would I deal with you guys after all that? On a lighter note, Honua Kai is where we always stay and that place is awesome! Aloha!

I would stay away from this company, they over charge me two nights on my stay and I have proof I told them I was not going to stay those nights and they didnt care, they are gretty and will do anything to take your money and not refund it.
