Manager was a bit grumpy but the store is packed. Wall to wall . It was more of a Mardi gras bead shop than a costume store.

This is my TO GO PLACE for kids costumes and accessories...they literally have everything from Dr sues to cowboy attire!! Reasonable priced and great qualityDefinitely recommend for moms looking for kids school dress up events!!!

Went to get some Saints beads for a project. Had called and confirmed they had some. Picked out what I liked and went to pay by Debit card and was told THEN that I had to pay cash for less than a $10. purchase so she told me to go get more. I dont carry cash and could have if I had been told when I called. Needless to say - I left without the purchase. So Ill find another bead store - even though Ive shopped at this one as long as Ive lived in La.

Love this place! We used to live in Lafayette for a few years but then moved to Missouri in 2015. We made it back to visit right now around Mardi Gras time, and I HAD to visit a bead shop. 😅 Im so glad we chose this one! My almost-four-year-old little girl made friends with the wonderful employees, and we got some really fun, lovely, and affordable Mardi Gras souvenirs to take back to Missouri with us. Gosh sometimes I really miss living in Louisiana, and Beads Galore totally drilled that sentiment home tonight. 😊

Big selection but Hobby Lobby had what I wanted. The necklaces are great but I couldnt use my debit card unless I bought more than 5.00 worth. The lady that followed me around the store offering to help me every 3 minutes like I was going in there to rob the place was annoying.

Very cool store, large selection, excellent customer service, Mitch and Bernie and their staff are world class people. They had dichroic glass before the world knew what it was. Always ahead of the trends. Miss going to the shop.

I have been buying beads for our Mardi Gras krewe and parades in Alexandria for about 10 years. This place is great and a very large inventory with great help. Note: Whomever this dude is that wrote a review, JBL, must have been on some bad acid!!!!!Sounds like a plant for the other bead store in South Lafayette. Dont believe him!
