The store was filled with people, literally one register opened. Its was about 3:30 in afternoon which is probably their busy time. I like shopping there, but more register should be opened, we were literally 15 people in line.

Would be nice if they could put the products on the shelves instead of letting it pile up in the back...but Ooooh wait that would mean that they would have to hire more employees. Shame on you Dollar Tree!!!! For weeks there were no bags!!! Thats right your customers had to try and carry there items trying not to drop them!!..not that you cared because with all of the dollar trees in Lafayette and surrounding areas you couldnt get some from one of them?????? Good leadership starts at the TOP and its unfortunate that there is no one at the TOP who cares!!! The store is in total need of help the few workers that you do have do work hard but I blame you for not giving them the tools they need to succeed...#shameonyouDT.....

Some of the employees need to go back to training. To be rude to others who are trying to be nice is plain ignorant. My elderly mother who is on a budget, picked out what she thought was a good toy to participate in the give a Toy program. In the rudest tone, the cashier at another register thought it was a good idea to shout Those are not toys. Ok, all you had to do was talk to us like humans and we would have found something else. I should have shopped at the one near my house anyway. The people there are friendly and helpful. Whatever happened to being kind. They dont teach that at Dollar Tree?

Was in line at a register that was just being used behind someone that just finished a transaction. The clerk moved to a different register as I was still standing there, so I politely asked if I needed to move. Well the manager, Barbara spoke very harshly to me. She said “well I mean you can stand there if you want to but there’s nobody there, so...” This was after about a three second pause of her obviously trying to decide how rude of a comeback she should give. Power trip, maybe? It’s the Dollar Tree, Barbara, pump the brakes on that attitude.

Manager said she was too busy to blow up balloons that the cashier had to do it. When I informed her she had customers she lied to me and said then were out of helium. I then asked for the brand new cashier to finish with her customers and taught her how to blow up balloons for the first time. Ive never been so disgusted by management at the Dollar Tree.

I put one star because it was a requirement -- this store management deserves Zero Stars!!!! By far the rudest employee I have ever encountered, not to mention she said she was the manager. The Manager never once greeted me, when I passed her and said excuse me she ignored me and then purposely pushed a cart into my arm. I then asked her if I had done anything to upset her. She then told me that I was nobody and didnt deserve respect. When I told her she was the rudest person I have ever met she told me Maam this is the Dollar Tree--- so apparently when you work at the Dollar Tree you are not required to respect your costumers. So whoever the manager is at the Dollar Tree on Production Rd. Lafayette La next to Wal-Mart, please reconsider working at a place that requires you to have respect for other human beings.

Im not sure who is training these employees are if they are getting any training at all. The employee was rude and disrespectful.I have never been treated so harsh. And to make matters worse she accused my son of stealing a toy then when I asked her to go back and look at the camera she would see that he walked in with it she said no. My son is 2 that was embarrassing and humiliating. Then she was on her cell phone talking about my kids to whom ever she was talking to.the store was dirty. Whats do.sad is as much as I liked the dollar tree I will never go back

Went to get birthday gift bag. Got bags & more & was on my way in no time at all.

This used to be my favorite Dollar Tree to shop at in Lafayette. It doesnt even deserve one star. This store seriously needs new management. Store is always dirty and employees are extremely rude. I witnessed the so called manager on duty talking trash about customers as soon as customer walked out of the door. So trashy

Because they would not let me exchange items because it was seasonal. Put that on the reciept to let customers know

Kind of messy but it looks like all the other dollar trees Ive been too. I been in several times the lines were long everytime.

We went into this store around 4pm in the middle of the week about an hour after the rain stopped. There were at least 5 to 7 customers walking around trying to find someone to check out. There were two women laughing and joking in the office. Playing on phones and throwing things to each other. One walked out and said awe s***, i shoulda closed those god**** doors. They aparently picked up all of the cashtills. It took almost 10 minutes for her to wait on us. Cursing and saying she wanted to go home over and over again. Waiting on other customers,she was texting. Then, when she did wait on us, she took a personal call on her cell phone and spoke on her phone the entire transaction. And as we were walking out, still a full line of people to check out, the office door was open, and i got to witness somone with their feet propped up eating food out of a stockroom box. Im assuming it was the stores mercandice.

Dollar Tree is usually a hot mess, but thats one of the things that make it special. Also, the employees are always very friendly!

Everything a dollar is right.. I left out of there with 6 bags and only paid 17 dollars.. If you go to any other store and walk out with six bags you gonna pay over 100 bucks..

When you want to stretch you money or if you are on a budget, dollar tree is the place to go. They have a variety of things plus frozen food.
