Great store with the best prices in the county! They deliver balloons and chairs, which is very helpful when we have larger parties at our house. I always find fun new things when shopping here. My kids love it too!

This place was such a great quick,shop for discounted Halloween things. But what made my visit was the store associate Josh! He was so nice, and very helpful-unlike some of the others who work there that blew me off. But josh came and saved the day to make it a more enjoyable visit! :)

RIP OFF. BAD STAFF. OVERPRICED!I just had to blow up 2 balloons, Sponge Bob and Patrick (they dont carry them).They charged $10.00.Unfortunately Dollar tree was out of helium.They would only have charged me $1.00 each.The icing on the RIP OFF CHARGE, Sponge Bob had a tear on the arm and so I only got one blown up balloon!The staff are always no personality and are so slow with zero people skills and can Never make a decision without getting permission.I will never shop there again. EVER!!!!!!

I dont write negative Yelp reviews, as I am a small business owner myself. But what transpired was shocking and just unbelievable. I was sold a helium tank by James as seen on this Yelp review one year prior. I brought back the helium tank for a refill (as I have done on multiple occasions). The valve was apparently broken after the last refill here so I brought it back to be looked at. The employee put the owner on the phone who proceeded to yell - yes yell at me. He proceeded to say that he doesnt sell his helium tanks and demanded proof that this was sold to me. His mannerism was so belligerent that I was shocked by what was happening. I replied that this seemed to be an internal issue with his employees, since this tank was indeed sold to me, it is not only written in their binder at Boswells - I watched the employee write it in there, but the same employee also wrote it that it was sold to me - on the tank. Its not my job as a customer to fix a problem that you have with managing your employees on what can and cant be sold. Its not my job as a customer to provide proof of purchase for something that an employee at your store sold to me. Its your job as a business owner to take care of your customers. And what transpired today was so beyond anything Ive experienced before that I had to write this review to not only give the owner a wake up call on his inappropriate behavior which could only be classified as verbal abuse. I am still shaken, shocked and mortified for this business owner and all the employees who had to stand their watching there employer verbally berate a customer- for doing absolutely nothing then being a loyal customer. By the way I left the helium tank I had previously purchased, along with the helium refill which I had just purchased at the store - I do not care about the money paid - I refuse to do business with a business owner without self respect or respect for others. Do unto others as you would have them do u to you. Its that simple.

Good location. An old store and it shows. They often dont have enough or are out of stock. Give yourself alot of time ahead of your event to find what you need as they can order more of what your looking for.

Boswells is a staple party store for the Lamorinda neighborhoods. Lots of costumes and fun accessories too for you Halloween needs. They have just about everything you could imagine and more for your party needs. The people that work there are consistently abrupt. They usually have a non customer service approach to doing business, which is why I am only giving them 3 stars. But its the only party store in this area, so we are at their mercy!

Prices are great and usually find something that I need for my party (I put on a lot of themed events). I wish they had more trending colors/themes etc.

Terrific local party goods store. A lot of really corny fun theme items. Bulk bins of novelties. Limited cake supplies. Balloon service.

We went to pick up decorations for a friends 50th. We needed two days worth of decor with two different themes. The staff was great we ordered ballons for that evening and the following morning. The first evening everything went great they were very fast and the next morning they made sure our ballons were ready upon opening. While I was walking around I even came up with items for the following weekends friends celebration of life event.
