5/13/2020 was my last check-up with Doug Code. MY Experiences with him were amazing. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind and understanding. I came to him with a severe sore right foot, pain, swelling and large hard callus on my foot. He took the time to really listen to my issues and started the process of getting me on the road to recovery. I want to thank him so very much for helping my, he is the best. Thank you, Donna Sokol.

Wow. After reading the review for one star I was not expecting the outstanding service, quality of prosthetic, professionalism of the staff, caring about my opinions and comfort levels with ordering, receiving and educating me on use of the prosthetic.I received a custom knee brace for my left knee. I have used a brace on my right knee for a few years. Within the first year of the first right brace I lost so much weight it would not adjust to my new size. I was fitted and presented with a new brace that had added some improvements.This new brace for my left knee is the same manufacturer and model with more new improved features.The receptionist has always been easy to reach and prompt in returning calls. Mike, the manager, is a young professional who is knowledgeable and respectful. He listens and responds in a caring way which makes him easy to discuss any questions or issues.I dont know if this is a different location, a new staff or what but I am extremely pleased with the Lafayette office ofHorizon and recommend it to anyone in need of prosthetics.Thank you for great service, personal attention and care.

I hope to not bore the reader. Years ago Horizon made a prosthetic for me, I could never wear it. I returned to Hanger, poor service. So I, this year returned to Horizon. Things went very well, till the end. Matt the prosthetist pulled a surprise, never discussed with myself. I accepted the leg, took it home, never could wear it. My very bad. The COS office used to have a great receptionist. She returned calls asap! Then she had to leave. New receptionist never answers calls, never returns calls, excuse is new phone system. For weeks, new system, for weeks no return calls. Me, well Im just a physically deformed human being and its my penance. I thoroughly enjoy how virtually every service in America has removed personal assistance. Again my bad for needing fast efficient service. Hey I got crutches afterall! So I have been an amputee since I was 2! Imagine That! I know a good prosthetic from a bad one. For those recently been amputated My heart aches. U will never know the difference between an awesome fitting prosthetic, and a piece of s..t . Yes, they will try to tell you thats what to expect, thats its the best it can ever be. So far after 12 years in Colorado. 4 prosthetics later, all deeply flawed I have no recommendations for u.
