I truly am appreciative for free oil change for life of vehicle. I like having an all-point check system to check my car out at each visit. I made a suggestion to check car battery in check up visits. I had the experience of battery dying a few days after an scheduled oil change. Also, I suggest that an scheduled oil change should take 2 hours. But, cant beat having an free oil change. I am grateful. The lobby is comfortable...cant beat that!

I would have given it more stars but every time I bring my vehicle another issue arises with it after I leave. I went in to fix vehicle recalls and repair a lock on a door. When I left a check engine light that wasnt on before came on. They checked the light and said it was a separate issue from what they did. I returned and had them repair that issue. The same day after I leave and lock my door my car alarm starts going off for no reason. I had to unlock my vehicle and lock it with the key to by pass the alarm so I could sleep without it going off every few minutes. I dont understand how I always have another problem that I didnt have before I went to the repair shop. Oh and by the way for both visits combined costed me over $1200.The staff was nice but at this point debating if I should find a different place to repair my vehicle.

I understand sales people have to try to get their sale but dont lie and say someone else is there for the same car as well just to try to get a quick sale, and 3 days later that same car is still on their lot! As far as for the driving and all that goes all that went very well. Just didnt care for them being pushy and then kept changing and taking back words and deals they would say one min and then the next be total opposite!

We were greeted quickly upon entering the dealership, although we were not approached while looking on the lot (which is good because we didn’t want the pressure etc.).There were some delays which made the process take longer than appreciated, but our salesman was easy to talk to, very upfront with everything and personable. We ended up purchasing our car with a great deal and didn’t feel pressure.
Brian Vidrine is an exceptional Sales Consultant. Palisades are the hot ticket right now so they are hard to keep in inventory. I contacted him a couple months ago and he kept his word that he would notify when more stock arrived. I live 2hrs away so he provided me pics for each inquiry the past months. He never waivered. After 5 months of searching he finally link me to my new Palisade. The dealership experience overall was wonderful with a better deal than the 3 others I tried. I took my car there on June 10th 2021. Called once a week for an update never got a response. I finally get a call back July 16th from the manger of the service department accusing me of not owning a car I owned. After providing paper work to them they realized I did own the car. On august 20th is when I finally got the car back. I purchased the car as a graduation gift for my daughter and was not aware of the engine recall until I went to the dealership to check on the car and was told by the service guy about it. I was treated poorly and also was the worst dealership experience I have face thus far. I own a Hyundai and I like them but I would never do business there again!

I can not complain at all about the purchasing experience at this deal but when it comes to the service that is a different story. The genesis care plan post purchase is a complete joke. Previously owning a g80 when they first hit the market I NEVER in my 2 years of ownership was given a genesis as a loaner car while my g80 was in the shop for service or manufacture recalls. Fast forward 2 years and I’m back with genesis, now driving their g90 ultimate. Getting a genesis loaner when getting my vehicle serviced is normally a 3 week wait for one to be available. It is very apparent that the dealer does NOT have enough for the amount of cars that need to be serviced. Apparently this is going to change because I’m at the service department right now and I was told that next time my car was serviced that I would not be getting a loaner because loaners would only be given to customers that are having mechanical difficulties with their vehicles and loaners would not be given out for normal maintenance services. This does go against genesis promise to its customers. The same person that told me this (the man that works at the back counter on the left) also told me it wasnt that big of a deal that my cars oil was overfilled and that probably nothing would happen. This is only a minor offense when it comes to the lack of mechanical know how of the service technicians. This is the second time in a row that I have brought in my G90 for an oil change only to have them overfill my oil by 1.5 quarts and consider my car an AWD when it is in fact a RWD. Easily distinguishable by looking under the car or looking for a badge on the back of the trunk. The only way I found out about this issue the first time was by checking my oil after the service. It is now oil change time again and as I walk out of the dealership I check my oil and sure enough the oil is so far past the dipstick that the oil level surpassed the plastic part of the dipstick. I thought that this issue would of been resolved after I sat down with the service manager to let him know how poor of a job his technicians were doing. Apparently not. Not to mention the financial side of being charged for additional oil that is not needed just to watch them have to take the car back and drain it to the proper level. Absolutely pitiful that the technicians lack the common understanding that they need to check the dip stick before finishing with the service process. This issue has been well documented and I pray that the issue has not caused my engine damage after driving the car with an overfilled oil capacity. To the service managers defense he did tell me that my next oil change was on the house but I’m not sure if I will trust the technicians to take my car once again.Follow up. I got one of those emails asking about how my service experience was. I replied with a screenshot of my review to which I got no response.
From our first visit everyone went above and beyond to help us out and since then we always receive just awesome customer service. Hyundai Genesis in Lafayette Louisiana is very highly recommended.

Salesperson Emily was very interested in selling a car. When asked the price of a car she replied that we should look online but shes the salesperson and she didnt make it her business to go find out the price until after the third time of us asking. She was asking to see if we were waiting on income taxes or stimulus money to buy the car which made us feel strange and profiled. After her asking many questions we just left and headed somewhere else.
