In particular, Claudia goes out of her way to make sure that I am pleased with every purchase and or service they perform and she is just a pleasure to deal with in every way. Yesterday, I called and asked if a bracelet that had been modified to fit, could be mailed to me due to current crisis and my high risk category (that’s right, I’m OLD) Becky graciously handled this for me and even over-nighted the bracelet to me:). I had some watch repairs that I needed on a couple of my watches. Becky greeted me warmly and professionally. She is a jewel to work with. She immediately took my watches and repaired the items she could repair without sending them off to the manufacturer. Becky took care of all my needs and I would recommend anyone in the Lafayette area to go to Lee Michaels and ask for Becky. Becky even took time out and explained to me about the different metals that Rolex uses in their watches which I found to be very informative! Also, the Lafayette store is really nice since they moved from the Acadiana Mall. Lots of room to move around in.........

Brought my wifes custom engagement ring and wedding band in to have them combined into a single piece (they werent designed to go together) and recoated. After a month long wait, the ring arrived at the store with only one of the three rings coated properly and the stone at the center of the engagement ring missing a large chip. No one saw it until my wife put the ring on.Had to wait another month for a replacement stone to arrive, for it to be seated, and sent off again. Wife picked the ring up today, finally completed and intact. She had to deal with yet another salesperson, as the previous ones and manager were actively avoiding us. Their appraisal of the completed ring was 1/3 of the total original purchase prices and the recent custom work.TLDR: dont let them work on anything you didnt buy there. They dont care.*2/1/20 update* So my wife and I were contacted by the vice president of Lee Michaels within 2 hours of the original review. Very impressive detective work I must say. He proceeded to throw himself on his sword for what happened with the store. Very apologetic and very determined to correct the mistakes that were made.After emotions cooled off, we agreed on full refund for the custom work. While my wife and I were upset and disappointed by the original process, the VPs personal actions did alot to rectify the situation, and I am very thankful and appreciative of his efforts. Again, thank you for the hard work Mr. Johnson.

I came in to have a pearl necklace restrung. The employees here were incredibly helpful, and took the time to make sure we got the right measurements, and were able to get things done quickly (I needed the necklace back within 20 days). While I was there, they offered to clean my engagement ring while we talked and I waited. I’ll also add, I was not dressed incredibly fancy, and thought this might create a customer service issue. It did not. Way to not judge a book by its cover! A great experience with employees that definitely try to make every experience in their store great.

What a first class retailer. I dont shop very frequently but when I do go the sales staff knows my name and what Im looking for. Last visit i brought my Rolex that I busted into a brick wall to find out the insurance that they recommended to me would cover the damage. Wow. I worked with Becky to resize my grandmothers ring in one day. They were the third jewelry store I called and the first to say they could resize a ring in 1 day. On the phone and when I dropped off the ring they quoted me at $81.The next day, Becky called to tell me that it was going to take more work to bring the ring down from a size 8 to a size 4 and because the ring was so old the diamonds might fall out from the worn out gold reinforcements which they would need to repair. Their new quote was between $150-$350 for these new variables. I was flying out that day so time was of the essence so I told her I would cover whatever the extra costs were.When I came to pick up the ring, the final bill was $300 before tax. I don’t know if this was a fair price because I’m not familiar with the jewelry business, but I trusted Becky and she told me she negotiated for it to be as low as $300.Becky’s work experience, care and personable personality helped put me at ease and helped me feel okay with the cost. All in all the ring was super clean, I got a free estimated evaluation, got it sized and reinforced all in a matter of hours, they kept their word that they could resize it in 1 day, and I felt like I would do business with them again walking out of the store today. Thank you Becky !

Well I wanted to shop around I went to every jewelry store in the mall and Jareds jewelry store. I was disgusted on how I was treated. Being Christmas eve I bearly got any service and a few people actually laughed at me when I told them my price range. I went back to Lees Jewerly and will not go anywhere else again. The service was by far the best and they made me feel important even with my budget. I will only recommend this place as their service and selection was outstanding. Thank you guys so much!
